Coming off their 90’s grunge-influenced debut single “Slinky,” Raleigh, NC-based alternative rockers and military veterans SILENCE & LIGHT have today (May 18) revealed a second sample of new music from their sophomore album COULDA, SHOULDA, WOULDA… due June 23 with the lyric video for “Purple.”

Out across digital platforms tomorrow (Friday, May 19), “Purple” is “a fast-paced musical memorial to those lost to drug abuse early on in the grunge music scene,” according to the band—which is comprised of former Army Ranger and Special Forces soldier and rhythm guitarist Jason Everman (ex-Nirvana, Soundgarden), former Delta Force Operator and lead guitarist Brad Thomas, former Marine Raider Tyson Stahl on bass, Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Fred Cowell on vocals and Navy veteran Justin Myers on drums. “It’s filled with lyrical references to many of our favorite artists who departed long before their time.”

Watch the “Purple” lyric video streaming below or directly via SILENCE & LIGHT’s YouTube channel HERE. Pre-save “Purple” on your preferred digital platform HERE.

Comprised of veterans of all four branches of the military, SILENCE & LIGHT have continuously championed non-profit organizations dedicated to aiding veterans and first responders and have donated over $5,000 in royalties to date in addition to performing various benefit concerts across the country. The band will continue their support by donating a portion of all profits from COULDA, SHOULDA, WOULDA… as well. SILENCE & LIGHT will also raise funds for the Marine Raider Foundation with a headlining record release show on June 23 at The Eagle’s Dare in Wilmington, NC as part of the city’s “Free Concert Friday” events.

COULDA, SHOULDA, WOULDA… was co-produced by the band and Dick Hodgin (Hootie & The Blowfish, Corrosion of Conformity). Across its 11 tracks, the band tap into the nostalgia of the 90’s alternative / grunge uprising with a powerful modern rock punch reflecting the strength and heaviness from their combined time spent serving in the military.

Alt-Rockers CRASHING WAYWARD Reveal “Closer” Video; Debut Album ‘Listen!’ due 6/9 via RFK Media

Coming off the musically powerful and evocative single Breathe, Las Vegas-based modern rock band CRASHING WAYWARD—vocalist Peter Summit, guitarists Stacey David Blades and David Harris, bassist Carl Raether, and drummer Shon McKee—today (May 17) share the music video for their new single “Closer” ahead of its May 19 digital release. Powered by Summit’s striking voice, multiple guitar textures and gripping fast-paced rhythm, the song “speaks to relationships—specifically unhealthy, addictive romantic relationships,” explains Summit. “It focuses on the obsession someone might have and also to the awareness that this might not be the right place for that person.” Watch the video, which captures the band’s onstage dynamism, HERE.

“Closer” is one of many highlights on the band’s debut album LISTEN! that’s due out June 9 on the RFK Media label. The 11-track album was produced by heavy hitter Mike Gillies, whose credits include a long tenure with Metallica as well as studio work with Mötley Crüe and The Cult. Lyrically poetic and musically illuminating, CRASHING WAYWARD paints a landscape that stretches beyond alternative hard rock and explores the diverse influences of each of its band members,

There are four strong songwriters with all different types of influences, so this creates a unique sound,” says Blades. “From a guitar standpoint, David Harris plays a lot in open tunings which gives the riffs a very different vibe along with my mainly Drop D tuning. When you put the guitar parts together, they are very different. Added to that is Carl Raether’s powerful bass lines plus Shon McKee’s fantastic drumming—and with Pete’s distinctive vocals and melody lines, you get Crashing Wayward.”

The band came together in the Spring of 2020, just when the world seemed to come to a halt. In that stillness, the band grew restless, feverishly writing emotionally fueled songs of hope, inclusion, and escape. The music on LISTEN! represents a cathartic release raw in approach yet refined in tone.

Says Summit about the striking album cover, an image of a woman with her mouth shut and masking tape across it: “The album art was taken during the ‘Breathe’ photo session, although the concept of ‘No one will be silenced’ has been used in various high-profile projects such as the ‘NOH8’ silent campaign in 2008, which showed celebrities in protest of the ‘Proposition 8’ banning of same-sex marriage. The intention is to focus on the power in her eyes. ‘See us. Hear us!’ We felt that the title LISTEN! was powerful in portraying both the album’s cover and the lyrics throughout the album. LISTEN! speaks directly to life itself touching on topics of Intolerance, Mental Health, Suicide, Love, Peace, Loss and Political Unrest.”

CRASHING WAYWARD’s official introductory single “Breathe,” was released in December 2022 and achieved international recognition via Apple Music’s “Breaking Hard Rock” and “New in Rock” playlists, YouTube’s “Heavy Gauge” playlist, and a barrage of media interviews and radio play resulting in #1 status on radio stations in the U.S. and Canada.

CRASHING WAYWARD genuinely pour their soul, blood, sweat, tears, and hearts into their songs and live shows. Equally primordial and intellectual, their music embodies the fundamental hypnotic quality of rock music and makes them the band to watch in 2023 and beyond. The album will be available worldwide on CD and all digital/streaming platforms, with the vinyl edition to follow later this summer. Pre-order LISTEN! now at https://rfkmediashop.com/products/crashing-wayward-l-i-s-t-e-n.

The band recently performed a record release show for LISTEN! at the Viper Room in West Hollywood and will next be seen presenting a very special event merging music, art and more at The Industrial in Las Vegas on July 14 at which they will headline (more details TBA).

Los Angeles-based heavy metal powerhouse BUTCHER BABIES have dropped a new single, “Red Thunder,” which explores the band’s darker side by leaning into their thrash/djent roots with an explosive guitar solo. The single–release this past Friday, May 12, across digital platforms–can be streamed HERE. An accompanying music video for “Red Thunder” will be premiered via the band’s YouTube channel tomorrow, May 13, followed by a live Q&A chat with the band, RSVP HERE.

Along with the release of “Red Thunder” comes the announcement of BUTCHER BABIES’ double album EYE FOR AN EYE… and …‘TIL THE WORLD’S BLIND both due July 7 (“Red Thunder” will appear on …‘TIL THE WORLD’S BLIND). The double album celebrates the group’s ten-year anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album GOLIATH, released on July 9, 2013 via Century Media Records. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for pre-orders and further details.

Discussing the new single’s sound, frontwoman Heidi Shepherd says: “‘Red Thunder’ is a massive nod to the style and sound of our beloved first album ‘Goliath’ that launched Butcher Babies into the metal stratosphere exactly a decade ago. Bringing in the groovy, guttural, thrash elements that we became known for, alongside a soaring melodic chorus, ‘Red Thunder’ culminates the dark, painful, and emotional side of the band. The song was written to remind the world that when she speaks, she speaks in Thunder!”

Frontwoman Carla Harvey lends insight into the inspiring and deeply personal meaning behind “Red Thunder”: “At its core ‘Red Thunder’ is a song about giving a voice to the voiceless.  But not just any voice; a cry so powerful that it shakes those that have wronged them to their core. As Heidi and I were writing the lyrics, my personal inspiration became my sister, Julia, born with microcephaly. She died very young, and I did not get the chance to know her, but I have one haunting photo of her as a baby that I brought with me to the session as inspiration.  In the photo she has one arm outstretched to the camera and these beautiful piercing eyes; my heart breaks that she didn’t get to live a LIFE; but in my dreams, my father’s daughter blooms…and speaks in thunder.”

Of the writing process for “Red Thunder,” guitarist Henry Flury says: “The opening riff was the first spark of inspiration when writing this song and it was also the first clip we introduced to the fans when giving a sneak peek of the album. The fans loved it, and we knew this song would be a highlight on the new album because it is classic BUTCHER BABIES. It has all the hallmarks of what a metal song should contain: Brutal vocals? Check. Crushing guitar riffs? Check. Pummeling double bass? Check. Guitar solo? CHECK.”

Not only is AGAINST ALL ODDS the name of hard rock outfit THE MENDENHALL EXPERIMENT (TMX)’s recent 2022 EP, but it’s also the message behind the band itself. TMX was formed in 2008 by guitarist/songwriter Brandon Mendenhall who was born with the incurable neurological disease Cerebral Palsy which limits mobility on the left side of his body. Determined by his love of music, MENDENHALL learned how to play guitar which eventually aided in the rehabilitation of movement in his left hand without surgical intervention. Enlisting bassist Nathan Stockton—who also overcame his disability of childhood deafness—TMX was developed and eventually became the subject of the award-winning documentary MIND OVER MATTER (Sumerian Films) directed by French filmmaker Sébastien Paquet (Korn, Wounded Warriors). The band have since released music with guest artists including James “Munky” Shaffer (Korn) and Danny Lohner (NIN, A Perfect Circle) and performed in front of audiences across the country alongside John 5, P.O.D., Alien Ant Farm, Kill Devil Hill, Fear Factory, Prong, Flaw, Metal Allegiance, Smile Empty Soul, Flaw, Co-Op and Breaking In A Sequence (BIAS) in addition to festival appearances at Aftershock Festival and Rocklahoma.

TMX have today (5/12) shared their new single, “Bury Your Casket,” which is available digitally across all platforms HERE. The aggressive-yet-catchy track’s meaning is “Relationships are sometimes meant to die in order to move onto the next evolutionary chapter,” according to guitarist/songwriter MIKE LIRA. “Sometimes that can be one of the hardest things in life to accept.” MENDENHALL adds, “In life, death is the only absolute; everything else is subject to change. Everyone you befriend along the way is a lesson, good, bad or indifferent, and as you grow and progress your circle gets smaller.”

On writing “Bury Your Casket,” LIRA comments: “This song is definitely one of my favorites. It’s melodic, heavy and a bit technical. It was one of those songs that came together smoothly, but also challenged me at times.”

“‘Bury Your Casket’ has been a fan favorite in our live set for years and my personal favorite to perform, it’s thrashy with a splash of punk and a solid breakdown,” shares MENDENHALL. “It’s the perfect combination to get your blood pumping and the crowd moving with a hook that will get stuck in your head for the rest of the night.”  Hear more about “Bury Your Casket” and the band’s journey in the Q&A with MENDENHALL below.

TMX have also shared a peek inside the recording process for AGAINST ALL ODDS in a new “making of” mini-documentary which can be streamed now below or directly via the band’s YouTube channel HERE. The documentary shows MENDENHALL, LIRA, STOCKTON along with drummer Justin Luebeck and new vocalist Alyce Hayes in the studio with a special appearance from Suicide Silence guitarist Chris Garza who guested on the EP’s debut single “Pulse Of The Lost.”

Witness TMX’s riveting live performance at Inkcarceration Festival in Mansfield, OH this summer where they’ll be performing on the Campground stage on Saturday, July 16. Stay tuned for additional touring announcements in the coming weeks.

Q&A with Brandon Mendenhall

What and/or who inspired you to pursue a career in the music industry?

“Growing up I was influenced by bands and guitarists from Korn, Pantera, and NIN. It was Munky from Korn’s story about how he used the guitar to rehabilitate his left index finger after an ATV accident almost tore it off that became the catalyst for me believing in myself and my abilities on guitar and in music.”

You were diagnosed with the incurable neurological disease cerebral palsy which affects physical movement. Can you describe some of the challenges you faced when learning to play guitar and how you overcame and/or continue to work around them?

“My journey with Cerebral Palsy and the guitar has not been an easy one. I don’t feel as though I’m one of those naturally talented players, I have had to earn my skill level.”

“My left hand is heavily affected by the CP, practically paralyzed in a way. I had to figure out a work around from playing chords the traditional way, and it wasn’t until I learned about Keith Richards using open and drop tunings as an alternative that things began to click for me on the instrument.”

“My progress on the guitar, like most musicians is ongoing, probably more physical than most. I feel as though I have to work twice as hard as your average player to stay in the game and keep the mobility I’ve gained over the years crisp. Also, I’m still learning as a player and a songwriter. I’ll never stop learning, that’s part of the fun and what keeps things creative. I wouldn’t be who I am today without having Cerebral Palsy; it’s this immense gift that’s given me an ability (with my guitar playing) to inspire and help others around the world, and for that I am blessed.”

Your new EP is titled ‘Against All Odds,’ can you share what that phrase means to you?

“‘Against All Odds’ really lived up to its name…From overcoming lineup changes, living through a global pandemic and persevering though ‘the sophomore slump,’ we delivered a killer yet more well-rounded EP than our debut.”

“To me, ‘Against All Odds’ means decoding the matrix–metaphorically finding yourself and what works for you in music, your formula or sound, and then going all in on your path to victory and success.”

Tell us more about your new single “Bury Your Casket” and where the song’s inspiration came from?

“All the credit goes to our lead guitarist Mike Lira on ‘Bury Your Casket.’ It’s truly his creation. He wanted to create a modern catchy but heavy tune that really got the crowd moving. Lyrically the song speaks to closing the chapter on a toxic period in your life, to be able to grow and move forward from life’s lesson.”

What are some of the influences that go into creating TMX’s sound?

“Life and the world around us is the biggest influence on our music currently. We draw from the experiences we go through personally and others we see or hear about and become inspired to pull some energy from.”

If you had to describe your music in five or less words, what would they be?

“Heavy Melodic Inspiration.”

What is a piece of advice you wish you were told that you would give to others that suffer from disabilities about pursuing a music career?

“The advice I would give to others with disabilities pursuing music is that you CAN do it! Never give up. It’s a journey, so enjoy it and have patience while being persistent. Also, don’t waste time by letting others stall your progress, keep your goals in motion. Lastly, manage your spending and invest your capital into your career in ways that it comes back to you.”

You’ve previously collaborated with James “Munky” Shaffer of Korn and Chris Garza of Suicide Silence. What other musicians would you like to collaborate with?

“Collaborations are one of my favorite things about what we do. There’s five on the top of my list to achieve right now:John 5, Dizzy Reed, Wolfgang Van Halen, Rick Allen and Tony Iommi–in no particular order and all for various reasons. Some we’ve talked about, some others are still dreams but anything is possible, and we’ll see what the universe has in store for us.”

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing instead?

“If I wasn’t a musician, I’d probably pursue a career in some sort of social work or counseling. I find that helping and giving back to others is the most rewarding thing in life.”

ASKING ALEXANDRIA today (Friday, May 12) share “Dark Void,” the first preview of music from their as-yet-untitled full-length studio album due this fall via Better Noise Music. Available now digitally HERE, “Dark Void” presents contrasting themes of melancholy and aspiration of day-to-day life in the modern world, while seamlessly blending the band’s anthemic stadium rock sound with a call back to their metalcore beginnings. Watch the music video for “Dark Void” streaming below or directly via YouTube HERE.

“With the world seemingly getting darker and darker, it’s easy to see why so many of us struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness,” relays guitarist BEN BRUCE. “This song is about fighting those demons that live in your head and trying your hardest to be your own savior. Finding that inner strength to pull yourself out of the darkness.”

“This theme is explored throughout the entirety of our upcoming album. We all have our own struggles and hurdles. We are all on our own journeys that present unique challenges and difficulties, but we all have our own inner strength to fall back on. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that there can be comfort in knowing that we aren’t alone. We all feel a little down from time to time. We all feel a little lost from time to time, but somehow, in some way, we are all in this together and hopefully our new album can help people through some of their toughest times.”

ASKING ALEXANDRIABEN BRUCE (lead guitars), DANNY WORSNOP (vocals), CAMERON LIDDELL (rhythm guitars), SAM BETTLEY (bass) and JAMES CASSELLS (drums)—have relentlessly toured across the globe in addition to being showcased at several of rock’s top worldwide festivals including Download Festival (UK), Hellfest (FR), Graspop (BE), Aftershock (US) and many more. They will spend the summer touring across Europe before heading stateside in July for three festival appearances: Rock Fest (7/14, WI), Inkcarceration Festival (7/15, OH) and Louder Than Life (7/21, KY).

Having joined Better Noise Music in 2021 with the release of their critically acclaimed album See What’s On The Inside, ASKING ALEXANDRIA subsequently achieved their first-ever #1 Active Rock radio single “Alone Again” and a follow-up Top 10 single with “Never Gonna Learn” (#6) in 2022 from their EP of the same name. The band’s loyal fanbase have garnered over 1.4 billion combined streams to date across all platforms along with over 3.1 million monthly Spotify listeners. Globally acclaimed Mongolian rock outfit THE HU have steadily been whetting listeners’ appetites with new music videos and updated tracks from the forthcoming deluxe edition of 2022’s RUMBLE OF THUNDER. Today (May 5), THE HU have revealed an acoustic version of their feel-good single “Bii Biyelegee” which celebrates the traditional Mongolian style of “biyelgee” dancing. The acoustic version is available to stream and/or download now across all digital platforms HERE.

Due June 30 via Better Noise Music, RUMBLE OF THUNDER: DELUXE ALBUM will include the album’s original track listing along with seven new bonus tracks: four acoustic renditions and three newly recorded songs featuring guest appearances from rock’s top musicians including recently released singles “This Is Mongol (feat. William DuVall of Alice In Chains)” and “Black Thunder (feat. Serj Tankian and DL of Bad Wolves).” RUMBLE OF THUNDER connected the world to Mongolian culture and its unique core values of natural preservation and spiritual connection with the earth as poignantly showcased on the eco-conscious single “Mother Nature.” THE HU will continue to champion these morals as they’ve recently announced plans to plant 12,000 Siberian Elm trees in the shape of their logo in Southeastern Mongolia to aid the area’s rapid deforestation in partnership with the environmental institution, SHAMBALE2056 Engineering Campus, LLC.

About The HU

In 2019, an NPR story put a spotlight on “a band from Mongolia that blends the screaming guitars of heavy metal and traditional Mongolian guttural singing,” accurately highlighting the cultural importance and unique musical identity of The HU. Founded in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, The HU—comprised of producer Dashka along with members Gala, Jaya, Temka, and Enkush—are a modern rock group rooted in the tradition of their homeland. The band’s name translates to the Mongolian root word for “human being,” and their unique approach blends instruments like the Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), Tovshuur (Mongolian guitar), Tumur Khuur (jaw harp) and throat singing with contemporary sounds, creating a unique sonic profile that they call “Hunnu Rock.”

Their debut album, 2019 ‘s The Gereg, debuted at #1 on the World Album and Top New Artist Charts while receiving critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard, NPR, GQ, The Guardian, The Independent, Revolver, and even Sir Elton John himself. Their appeal was instantly recognized globally with sold-out tours across the world in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and acknowledged by their home country who awarded them Mongolia’s highest state award, The Order of Genghis Khan, which was granted to the band by the President of Mongolia, Kh. Battulga in 2020.

A deluxe version of The Gereg included collaborations with Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, and caught the attention of Metallica, who heard their Mongolian rendition of “Sad But True,” and then enlisted them to take part on their Metallica Blacklist album, released in 2021 with The HU’s cover of “Through The Never” alongside other high-profile guest artists like Miley Cyrus, Chris Stapleton, Phoebe Bridgers, J Balvin, St. Vincent and many more. The band was also made “canon” in the Star Wars fandom after they wrote and recorded an original song for EA Games’ Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which was featured in its gameplay.

THE HU released their second album Rumble Of Thunder in 2022 via Better Noise Music while continuing to tour across the globe, adding in dates in Japan and festival appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Download Festival and more. In October 2022, the band were featured on the soundtrack for Better Noise Films’ thriller The Retaliators and appeared on screen. In November of 2022, The HU became the first-ever rock/metal band to receive the prestigious UNESCO “Artist of Peace” Designation at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, FR by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. Previous recipients include Celine Dion, Shirley Bassey, Sarah Brightman and more.

In March 2023, THE HU further added to their accreditations by becoming the first-ever Mongolian band to perform in the metaverse following their virtual concert, “Rumble of Thunder V1.1.” To date, The HU have accumulated over 329 million combined streams and 290 million video views.

Explosive rap-rocker HYRO THE HERO joins the conversation on mental health with his compelling new single “Head Under Water,” featuring guest vocals from alternative rock group REDDSTAR and Dan Sugarman of Ice Nine Kills. The musically fiery single details the Houston, TX-raised artist’s personal battle with depression with its leading lyrics stating:

“Dark clouds around my head/
I ain’t feeling fine.
Immediate help, I need a hotline.
I’ve been feeling like this for a long time.”

As “Head Under Water” progresses, the lyrics show HYRO’s resilience in fighting those dark thoughts and his determination to block them out entirely. Available today (May 5) across all digital platforms, stream/download “Head Under Water (feat. Reddstar and Dan Sugarman of Ice Nine Kills)” now at https://hyrothehero.ffm.to/headunderwater. Check out the animated lyric video streaming below or HERE.

“It was such an epic feeling to have the first single off my new album be ‘Head Under Water ft Reddstar and Dan Sugarman of Ice Nine Kills,’” relates HYRO. “There’s such intense emotion we conveyed through this track that I hope listeners will be able to connect with it. It’s a deep dive into depression and the dark thoughts that arise when struggling with life’s problems. When you feel like you have nobody to talk to or that can understand, it can lead to terrible things. Mental health is no longer a taboo subject and it’s being brought up in discussion throughout society today, so I wanted to touch on it because I know the feeling first-hand.”

“I knew when I heard this track that we had something,” shares REDDSTAR. “Not only does the song have a lot of meaning but I like how Hyro and I approached it from our own perspectives. I do believe when people listen to this that so many will be able to connect or relate to it on multiple levels.”

“‘Head Under Water’ is as authentic and real as a song can get,” comments SUGARMAN. “The second I heard this track, I knew I needed to be a part of it. Feeding off the raw rock energy, I dug deep to bring as many melodic and off-the-wall guitar elements to the table as I possibly could. Playing through a slurred drunken swagger, the solo and guitar playing gets more concise and razor sharp as the song progresses. Hyro and Reddstar spit the sickest flows and heaviest lyrics I’ve ever heard, and that meant that I needed to do the same. Moments before I started to write and record I got a call from my doctor with the most terrifying medical news that a person could get, so I poured myself into this solo, and into this song. I know ‘Head Under Water’ will hit you like it hit me, because this feeling is so real for so many of us.”

HYRO, who splits his time between Los Angeles and France, will release his forthcoming third full-length album due later this year via Better Noise Music. In the meantime, fans will have the chance to win an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime experience with HYRO by entering Better Noise Music’s “Fan Love Sweepstakes” fundraiser which supports Sweet Relief Musicians Fund’s “Music’s Mental Health Fund.” The grand prize winner will get flown out to spend the day with HYRO for a one-on-one rock’n’roll personal training session. Plus, get a pair of VIP tickets to a future HYRO THE HERO U.S. show of their choice (subject to venue availability). See eligibility requirements and enter to win at fandiem.com/fanlove before June 30 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time.

Following his recent 2022 EP Worst Behavior, HYRO released a second EP featuring collaborations with a who’s-who of modern rock’s leading artists including David Draiman (Disturbed), Corey Taylor (Slipknot) and Chad Grey (Hellyeah). Its single “Kids Against The Monsters (feat. Corey Taylor)” was synched in an episode of Apple TV’s “SWAGGER.” HYRO has also been featured on tracks from Hollywood Undead and Deuce as well as landing his original track “Who’s That Playing On The Radio” on the soundtrack for Better Noise Films’ horror-thriller The Retaliators with featured guest musicians Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe) and Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria).

MOONSHINE BANDITS’ genre-defying signature sound of backwoods bravado, country soul, keg-thumping beats, and hip-hop fusion has paved the way for the budding country/rap genre. The California-based duo–Brett “Bird” Brooks and Dusty ‘Big Tex’ Dahlgren —have amassed a dedicated legion of fans, the “Shiner Nation,” from their relentless touring across the U.S. while averaging 2.3 million monthly streams across all platforms and over 260 million video views. The duo are next ready to deliver the grittiest, most spirited and distinctly grassroots release of their 16-year career with the new album POUR DECISIONS due July 14 via oneRPM. On Friday, April 28, MOONSHINE BANDITS have released its second single “I’m A Problem” featuring Juno Award-winning Canadian rapper MADCHILD across digital platforms. Stream/download it HERE. Watch the full-throttle music video streaming below or HERE.

“‘I’m A Problem’ is basically a song to let the listener know who we are and what it took to get there,” shares Big Tex. “Neither Madchild or us were overnight success stories—in fact, we were underdogs more than anything.  We grinded for years to earn the level of success that we are now enjoying with both our loyal fan bases.  Aside from the music, we both have branded ourselves well and our careers are still on the incline.  This song touches on all that and then some.  It’s an unapologetic in-your-face-type song.”

Bird chimes in: “We always wanted to work with Madchild because we respected his talent, and he also runs with the same crews we do. We have a lot of fans in Canada and with Madchild being on a song with us, it’s only going to expand our reach over there. We thought his style fit the song perfectly and he killed it.  We are really hoping this song leads to a tour in Canada with him or in the US.”

POUR DECISIONS features 15-tracks that continue to show MOONSHINE BANDITS paving their own lane. The album takes its inspiration from the struggles and successes of America’s extraordinary era when dreams were being made while hunting for that elusive precious gem. Just like the rumrunners, bootleggers, smugglers, and outlaws of old, the MOONSHINE BANDITS provide a supply of goods for the demand, defying the mandates and trends of mainstream pop-culture. There aren’t stops or boundaries, and POUR DECISIONS proves that they still live by their code.

Using a play on words with the album title, POUR DECISIONS coincides with the band’s very own Bucked Up Whiskey via California Cowboy Whiskey. “Let’s face it, our fans love to party and so do we. With the amount of partying that we all do, poor decisions can be made,” says Big Tex. “We flipped it to ‘Pour Decisions’ to coincide with our new Bucked Up Whiskey brand. Now you can make the right ‘Pour Decision’ when you choose to pour a shot of our whiskey. Cheers!” Visit https://www.buckedupwhiskey.com/ to find a retail location near you to purchase.

POUR DECISIONS is now available for pre-order via digital download as well as on CD. Exclusive merch bundle options can be paired with the CD which include:

Bucked Up Pour Decisions Bundle
includes Barrel Flask Necklace, Bucked Up Dog Tag and Gold Challenge Coin

Boozey Pour Decisions Bundle

ABOUT MOONSHINE BANDITS:
Since their formation in Los Banos California in 2003, MOONSHINE BANDITS’ blue-collar work ethic and unwavering persistence has seen the band defy the mandates and trends of mainstream pop culture. The duo have crisscrossed the country performing hundreds of shows a year, ventured into branding their own beef jerky and moonshine, collaborated with some of the music business’s most prolific artists, outshined in the face of record industry roadblocks, earned a fiercely loyal fan following, and embrace the unconventional.

Long before people figured out country and rap had a lot in common, Moonshine Bandits were gaining critical acclaim from outlets including Rolling Stone, MTV, AOL, THE BOOT, YAHOO and their 2011 hit single “My Kind Of Country” peaked at #1 on CMT Music. The band continued to break barriers with their 2015 album BLACKED OUT which simultaneously landed on Billboard’s Top 10 Rap Albums (#10) and Top 15 Country Albums (#13).

UNESCO “Artist of Peace” designees THE HU have become a global sensation with their groundbreaking blend of traditional Mongolian throat singing and native instrumentation with modern western rock which they describe as “hunnu rock.” Their namesake, “Hu,” corresponds to the root of the word “human being” in Mongolian and represents their commitment to spread awareness for cultural diversity, respect for nature and equality for humankind throughout their music. To celebrate World Earth Day (April 22), THE HU have announced plans to plant 12,000 Siberian Elm trees in the desert-barren area of Southeastern Mongolia in the shape of their logo–a one-horned leopard, based off an ancient symbol used by the Hun tribes. The LandArt campaign is in partnership with the environmental institution, SHAMBALE2056 Engineering Campus, LLC, which has been relentlessly working in the area on several restoration projects and eco-friendly irrigation and energy systems. The trees being planted are Siberian Elms due to their strong root system and low water requirements which will help fight the rapid deforestation of the Gobi because of sandstorms and climate change. Digging efforts will begin in May and THE HU will offer fans the opportunity to purchase a tree to help fund the cause, details of which will be announced in the coming weeks.

As midnight strikes in Ulaanbaatar on World Earth Day, THE HU have shared the English-translated lyric video for their environment-focused single “Mother Nature,” taken from the forthcoming deluxe version of their 2022 album RUMBLE OF THUNDER due June 30 via Better Noise Music.

“Everyone in this world belongs to a mother and this song narrates the similarities between one’s relationship with their mother and the connection between humans and the Earth,” describes THE HU. “In a way, Earth is another mother that bore us to this world. In Mongolia, mothers are highly regarded and respected and we believe that even after death, their soul protects their child as their love is limitless.”

To date, THE HU have amassed over 329 million combined streams across digital platforms, 290 million video views, two Top 5 Mainstream Rock charting radio singles, sold-out worldwide headlining tours and appearances at the world’s biggest music festivals (Download, Coachella, Lollapalooza). For the RUMBLE OF THUNDER: DELUXE ALBUM, the band will add four acoustic renditions and three newly recorded singles featuring guest appearances and English vocals from some of the genre’s top acts including William DuVall (Alice In Chains), Serj Tankian (System Of A Down), LP and DL (Bad Wolves).
