Innovative Mongolian rock group and global phenomenon THE HU will continue to dominate audiences worldwide in 2025 as they today (December 10) announce dates for the European leg of their headlining “Incarnation” World Tour. Set to kick off in early June, the tour will coincide with a series of shows with THE HU supporting Scandinavian folk outfit Heilung on the band’s final tour. THE HU will also appear on several of Europe’s largest heavy music festivals during the run including Hellfest and Graspop Metal Meeting. See full dates listed below. THE HU recently released a ‘hunnu rock’-styled take on Iron Maiden’s classic single “The Trooper.” It was aligned with the start of their North American tour directly supporting the metal legends earlier this fall. SORRY FOR NOTHING is a double-barreled blast of 13 songs, equally divided between arena-rock and roots country. The album comes as a follow-up to CORY’s successful debut, Who I Am, which included the hit single “Outlaws & Outsiders.” The song made history as the first-ever Top 10 rock radio-charting single from a Canadian country act and received Platinum certification in Canada and Gold in the U.S.

Produced by longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain, Papa Roach), plus Kile Odell (Nita Strauss, David Draiman), and Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert), SORRY FOR NOTHING’s tracks range from Haggard-like country and virtual bluegrass to straight-up arena anthems and almost Pantera-like hard metal as well as mashing both styles in a single song. Los Angeles: CROSSBONE SKULLY have today (November 22) unleashed their debut album EVIL WORLD MACHINE which brought the legendary Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard) out of retirement to executive produce the project. Released by Better Noise Music, the rock concept album echoes similar dystopian visions such as David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and Diamond Dogs and its story will be expanded in a forthcoming graphic novel and animated film, Thing #1, due in 2025.

EVIL WORLD MACHINE was praised via Classic Rock, who gave it a 9/10 rating, saying “Mutt lives!…Mutt’s sonic fingerprints are all over the album… an AC/Lep-inspired mongrel … There’s also plenty of Def Leppard and even Whitesnake in Crossbone Skully’s DNA”.

“I’ve based this album on my heroes – AC/DC, Queen, The Who, but also The Cars and Kraftwerk,” Henriksen continues “Mutt called and told me he thought there was something there. I started crying like a baby, it was like Jesus coming back and anointing you!” he says. “Mutt has taken these songs to a whole other level. Now I don’t mind what else happens with this record.”

Led and conceptualized by Henriksen (guitarist and musical director for Alice Cooper’s band and member of Hollywood Vampires), CROSSBONE SKULLY enlisted a sterling group of supporting musicians for EVIL WORLD MACHINE including guitarist Tommy Denander, keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal), bassist Chris Wyse (Hollywood Vampires, Ace Frehley, The Cult, Ozzy Osbourne), drummer Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires), the late UFO bassist Pete Way, mixer Olle Romo (Muse, Bryan Adams) and producer/mixer Mike Plotnikoff (AC/DC, Aerosmith). Also lighting up the album are guest features and spoken word appearances by A-list actor/musician and fellow Hollywood Vampires bandmate Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Kane Roberts, and more.

Guitarists Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction) and Billy Morrison (Billy Idol) have announced the “ABOVE GROUND” benefit concert series will return for its fourth event on January 25 at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA. As before, “ABOVE GROUND 4” will feature Navarro and Morrison with an all-star band and special guests (TBA). Tickets go on sale Friday, November 22 HERE with pre-sale Wednesday, November 20.

The event will again celebrate the vinyl album as an art form, with performances of two seminal albums in their entirety. This year will see Navarro and Morrison feature the groundbreaking self-titled debuts by the New York Dolls (1973) and The Cars (1978).

“We’re incredibly grateful to Dave and Billy for once again dedicating their talents and hearts to support MusiCares and bring attention to mental health and suicide prevention,” says Laura Segura, Executive Director of MusiCares. “Above Ground has become a powerful night of connection for our music community, and each year, the impact grows. “ABOVE GROUND” launched in 2018 and has featured Navarro and Morrison alongside a star-studded lineup of their friends including Jack Black, Corey Taylor, Anthony Kiedis, Juliette Lewis, Courtney Love, Billy Idol, Al Jourgesen, Steve Stevens, and many more. The events have highlighted full-length albums from legendary acts including Adam and The Ants, Lou Reed, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie, The Stooges, and Sex Pistols.

New Zealand-based, Anaheim-born artist VANA merges brutal metal riffs with haunting electro-pop elements, offering a glimpse into a world where horror, femininity, and raw intensity collide on her sophomore EP TRIAL AND TERROR. Stream/download the album out now via Rebellion Records–digitally HERE. The singer, songwriter, and self-taught musician captured global attention earlier this summer with her breakout single “Beg” which independently amassed over 7 million streams and 1.7 million video views. VANA’s boundary-pushing sound serves as an open invitation to those who might feel out of place in traditional metal spaces, making her an approachable bridge into heavier music for women and queer audiences and has earned her acclaim from international media including Rolling Stone Australia, Vice New Zealand, NZ Musician, Rova, and more.

“‘Trial and Terror’ is my experiment in pushing every boundary possible while rooting it in a metal foundation,” exclaims VANA. “I aimed to make the EP as extreme as I could, bringing horror, sexuality, and raw psychotic lyrics to a point where it feels almost unhinged. There’s a lot of commentary there; it’s like I’m mocking the narrow and contradictory expectations people place on women in entertainment. ‘Be sexy but not too sexy; edgy but not too dark.’ I turned up every dial to the maximum and leaned into the absurd. The EP feels chaotic…each track is different from the last, as if every song is a new trial in itself. I like to think of my performance as a kind of ‘drag’ act, drawing inspiration from queens who embody intensity and unapologetic self-expression. Some people find this EP polarizing which to me means I did it right. I want to be abrasive, to be felt.”

“With this music video I wanted to dive deep into horror and reinterpret a familiar story with raw, seductive energy,” says VANA. “The song plays on the story of Eve from a twisted perspective, where Lilith seduces her into a snake servant. It’s disturbing and it’s also unapologetically hot. Working with a cast of women and a queer female director was essential to capturing the essence of what it feels like to be a queer woman, bringing an authenticity that embraces the passionate, almost primal side of sapphic love—not just the ‘innocent’ depictions people are used to where two women fall in love and get a cottage on a farm and bake each other pies. Viewers who look closely at the plot will see Lilith isn’t the serpent herself; she’s corrupting Eve, turning her into one of her many serpent minions. It’s a thrill to bring this level of intensity to the screen, playing with horror and seduction and the unsettling beauty of transformation.”

Despite having no formal music training and being raised in a small rural town in New Zealand, VANA is self-taught—a feat that reflects her fierce dedication to her craft. FINISH TICKET’s 2014 debut album Tears You Apart (Atlantic Records) saw the band make their debut late-night TV performance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” alongside a wave of sold-out shows across the Bay Area.
