MARKS ADDS U.S. TOUR DATES THIS FALL WITH THEORY OF A DEADMAN

CORY MARKS – SORRY FOR NOTHING Album Cover Art (Download HERE)

CORY MARKS is thrilled to announce his second full-length album SORRY FOR NOTHING will be released via BETTER NOISE MUSIC on October 11. The album offers an unapologetic double-barreled blast of 13 songs, equally divided between MARKS’ breakthrough blend of arena-rock and roots country alongside kindred spirits such as Eric Church, Zach Bryan, Hardy, and Brantley Gilbert.

MARKS has today (July 26) released the album’s no-apologies track “(Make My) Country Rock.” It notably includes features from Sully Erna of multi-platinum hard rock group GODSMACK, legendary guitarist Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe), and multi-platinum selling and award-winning country artist Travis Tritt. “(Make My) Country Rock”–produced by Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert)—rallies together fans of both country and rock alike with the opening line—“I’ve been known to piss some people off / From the Sunset Strip to small town honky tonks / I’ve been behind both kinds of bars”—while its chorus proudly proclaims: “Ain’t ever gonna stop/ I’m gonna make my country rock.”

Stream it now digitally at https://corymarks.ffm.to/mmcr.

Watch the music video below or directly via YouTube HERE.

“What can I say…I’m country, I’m rock,” shares MARKS. “That’s exactly what this song is and what I sing about. It may piss people off, but I know a lot more listeners out there are gonna be happier when they hear it. I can say that my friends and features on this track agree too! I’m gonna make my country rock!”

SORRY FOR NOTHING is the follow-up to MARKS’ successful debut, Who I Am. It generated the hit single “Outlaws & Outsiders,” which charted at #1 in the U.S. on Billboard’s “Rock Digital Song Sales” chart and #5 on iTunes “Country Songs, while making history as the first-ever Top 10 rock radio-charting single from a Canadian country act.

Produced by longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain, Papa Roach), Kile Odell (Nita Strauss, David Draiman), and Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert), SORRY FOR NOTHING’s 13 songs range from Haggard-like country and virtual bluegrass to straight-up arena rock anthems, Eagles-like acoustic country-folk and almost “Pantera”-like hard metal.

“They’re all Cory Marks,” says MARKS. “I’m very familiar with both genres. I try to mix country music with rock and a dash of metal, mash it all up and that’s my sound. This album features the best songs I’ve written since Covid. It’s a kick in the ass, the good, the bad and the ugly, the ups and downs of life, adding that little bit of fuel to the fire to keep you fighting, to keep your eye on the prize. There are songs for partying, songs to look back on life and have a good cry, love songs… something for everyone. Whether you’re a rock fan, a metal fan or a country music fan, my mission is to reach anyone who feels a little different.”

MARKS will be headed to the U.S. this fall opening for multi-platinum rock Theory of A Deadman. The tour stretches from October 29 to November 23 and will see MARKS performing an acoustic set featuring music from SORRY FOR NOTHING alongside past hits. MARKS has previously toured North America with a blend of artists including Five Finger Death Punch, ZZ Top, and Brantley Gilbert, while also having joined Nickelback on the main stage at the annual Boots and Hearts festival in Toronto in 2023. Tickets are available now HERE. See full dates listed below.

“Life’s a trip, and everyone’s on something…some just choose a different kind of dope. I choose hope!”
– CROSSBONE SKULLY frontman TOMMY HENRIKSEN

CROSSBONE SKULLY have today (July 19) unleashed a new track from their eagerly anticipated debut album Evil World Machine, due this fall via Better Noise Music, with their anthemic and compelling track “Everyone’s On Dope.” Stream it now across all digital platforms at https://crossboneskully.ffm.to/eod. Watch the “Everyone’s On Dope” music video streaming below or via YouTube HERE.

The video sees CROSSBONE SKULLY, TOMMY HENRIKSEN (guitarist and musical director for Alice Cooper’s band and member of Hollywood Vampires) alongside the band’s live lineup: guitarists Sam “Bam” Koltun (Dorothy, Faster Pussycat, Budderside) and Anna Cara, drummer Alex “Thumper” Boch, and bassist Chris Wyse (Hollywood Vampires, Ace Frehley) who also contributed to the studio recording.

Everyone’s On Dope” is the sixth new track and video from the rising rock outfit following consecutive releases “Money, Sex, or God,” “I Am The Wolf,” “The Boom Went The Boom (feat. Phil Collen),” “I’m Unbreakable,” and “Evil World Machine.” To date CROSSBONE SKULLY has garnered over 1 million streams. All tracks were executive produced by the legendary Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams) who came out of retirement for this project. Olle Romo (Mixer), Howie Weinberg (Mastering) For the studio recording, HENRIKSEN enlisted several first-class musicians including Wyse, Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal), Tommy Denander (co-producer, songwriter, guitarist) , Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires), the late UFO bassist Pete Way, and additional engineer Mike Plotnikoff (AC/DC, Daughtry, Buckcherry, Aerosmith).

CROSSBONE SKULLY acts as a multidimensional project and is also the namesake of the band’s mascot and main character, an avenging superhero from outer space who’s on a mission to return to earth to save the world. His plight was shared with the launch of a graphic novel and animated film, “Thing #1,” which premiered at Fan Expo in 2023. For the film, HENRIKSEN enlisted several of his bandmates and friends for voiceovers on both the album and the upcoming film including A-list actor Johnny Depp and rock icons including Alice Cooper, Nikki Sixx, Joe Perry, Kane Roberts and Mark Wilkinson.

5X Platinum-selling and Juno Award-winning rock outfit FINGER ELEVEN have announced their signing to the premiere independent music label Better Noise Music (whose roster includes Five Finger Death Punch, Asking Alexandria, Bad Wolves, Nothing More, and From Ashes To New). With 958 million career streams and over 157 million all-time video views, FINGER ELEVEN lead the way as one of the best-selling Canadian bands of all time. They’ve just announced a new album due in 2025 and will release its first track, “Adrenaline,” on Friday, August 2. Listen to a 30-second teaser HERE. Pre-save “Adrenaline” now at https://fingereleven.ffm.to/adrenaline.

FINGER ELEVENScott Anderson (vocals), James Black (lead guitar, backing vocals), Rick Jackett (rhythm guitar), Sean Anderson (bass), and Steve Molella (drums)—will join rock legends Creed as direct support on their “Summer of ‘99” tour starting tonight, July 17, in Green Bay, WI. They will also make an appearance at Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY on September 27. Tickets are on sale now HERE. See dates listed below.

“I’m proud to announce that Finger Eleven has partnered up with Better Noise Music,” exclaims vocalist Scott Anderson. “The digital ink is nearly dry, and we couldn’t be more excited about this new team. Our new single ‘Adrenaline’ will be released while we are out on the road with Creed for the whole dang summer.  A new album is on the horizon, and so is our tour bus. See you out there!”

“As experiences go, signing Finger Eleven backstage on a Latvian NATO base after they just played to a squadron of Canadian military is one that’ll I’ll never forget (see picture),” shares Better Noise Music CEO Dan Waite. “It is also an appropriate analogy, as at Better Noise Music we will combine forces to bring their music to the world through our global staff and offices, from Australia to Toronto. We’ll be working them hard at radio and streaming and using our skills in artist development to expand their already large audience. ‘Adrenaline’ is an appropriate first song for us, as the whole team including Managers Dave Morris and Zeke Myers are pumped up for the new music which they will be debuting on their USA Tour with Creed.”

We are incredibly psyched to have F11 join the Better Noise family,” says Better Noise Music President/COO Steve Kline. The music from their new album is next level and we can’t wait to start the rollout around this massive tour. The initial response from our partners has been overwhelmingly positive. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!

HARDCASTLE

“A million eyes watching, judging me
So tell me why I’m losing sleep, no dreaming
Anxious thoughts come creeping
All the time
Can anybody rescue me?”
“Paranoiac” lyrics

Post indie rock outfit HARDCASTLE blend compelling melodies, introspective lyrics, and passion on their upcoming EP CIRCUIT due September 13 via MNRK / Liminal Records. CIRCUIT was produced by Oscar, Golden Globe and multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, My Chemical Romance) with mastering completed by Howie Weinberg (U2, Smashing Pumpkins) and mixing from Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons).

HARDCASTLE will release CIRCUIT’s second track—the urgent and dark anthem “Paranoiac”—this Friday, July 12, across digital platforms; pre-save it HERE. The song was recorded with guitarist Tim Pierce (Shinedown, Bon Jovi) who also lent his guitar skills on several other tracks throughout the EP. HARDCASTLE have today (July 11) shared its mind-altering music video which was co-directed by founding member, songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Graham Laderman. Watch the “Paranoiac” music video now via the band’s YouTube HERE or streaming below.

CIRCUIT chronicles the highs and lows of LADERMAN’s musical journey capturing dark subjects such as mental health struggles and toxic relationships as well as sharing his story of healing, self-discovery, and evolving dreams into reality. HARDCASTLE was originally formed in Nashville in 2018 and saw the band release a series of tracks including hit singles “Mundane” and “Back To You” which combined accumulated over 10 million streams to date and a sold-out tour across the U.S. opening for The Band Camino in 2019. In 2020, Covid hit and its impact forced the dissolution of the band and led to LADERMAN relocating to LA to try to figure out a new path. Shortly after arriving, he was connected with Rob and Lisa Cavallo at Done Deal Management and reformed HARDCASTLE with a refreshed line-up and authentic sound.

HARDCASTLE released the first sample of new music in May with the emotionally gripping and sonically massive “Hostage” and celebrated its release with a sold-out show at Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles alongside Levi Evans. “Hardcastle play indie rock at its finest and most compelling,” said Highwire Daze of the show. “Graham Laderman is such a dynamic, expressive front man who really knows how to bring the listener into his very relatable world of thoughtful, empowering lyrics.” HARDCASTLE will next perform as headliners at the famed Viper Room on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA on September 20 following the release of CIRCUIT.

SWAGGERMOUTH have today (July 10) released the groove-laden second track Turnin’ On A Dime” from the Las Vegas-based heavy rock outfit’s forthcoming debut album NEVER SHUT UP due September 18 via Rock Avenue Records USA. Stream it HERE. The enticing music video for “Turnin’ On A Dime” shows band leaders JASON EBS (vocals for Peter Criss’ “Bad Boys of KISS” tours) and JANEA CHADWICK EBS (Joe Cocker) attending a masquerade ball where more than just their identities are concealed. It was premiered yesterday via Bravewords. Watch the video below or via YouTube HERE.

“The premise of ‘Turnin’ On A Dime’ has a dark twist to it, with a warning to watch your back and protect those that you care about, as life is full of people trying to get what they want at your expense,” declares JASON EBS. “‘Not at my expense’ is one of my favorite quotes and is a mantra by which we live.  Our belief is that if you’re lucky enough to have a tribe of trustworthy people around you, then we all need to watch each other’s backs in life.  To me, that’s what a band is all about—it’s an extended musical family of people creating and watching out for each other as we tour through life,” he adds.  “I learned this early on in my career while singing for Peter Criss on the ‘Bad Boys Tours’.  When we’d get ready for the road, he’d say ‘Ok boys, we’re going to battle so we need to all look out for each other.’ So, that’s what we did, and the philosophy stuck.”

JASON continues to share how the song’s message is relayed in the “Turnin’ On A Dime” video: “In the video, there is a Death-masked Man that symbolizes a dark force that lurks among our tribe, shaking hands while secretly brandishing a dagger.  This entity represents those who smile upon you while preparing to stab you in the back to get what they desire.  There’s a scene where Janea has my back, saving me from the creature who administers poison, representing what we do for the people that we care about on a daily basis.  I think that we can all relate to somebody from our inner circle turning against us at some point in our lives.   With friends like that, who needs enemies?  Mean people suck…”

SWAGGERMOUTH have also announced two upcoming free shows as part of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, SD at Kickstands on Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8. See the below flyer for details. For the live performances, JASON and JANEA will be joined by their live band including drummer Billy Kesner, bassist Joseph Nile and keyboard wizard Borgi.

NEVER SHUT UP was produced, mixed, and mastered by JASON at his newly acquired Dragon Castle Studios, named to honor its previous owner’s platinum-selling rockers Imagine Dragons. It was co-written by JASON, JANEA, and Chris Slade (AC/DC) who also recorded drums for a majority of the album. The debut track “Let It Roll” was released in May and received airplay on SIRIUS XM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard channel. Across NEVER SHUT UP’s 11 tracks, SWAGGERMOUTH channel their ‘controlled chaos’ sound which mixes heavy rock anthems with slammin’ pop melodies. Pre-order it now HERE.

Bay Area staple alt rock group FINISH TICKET share their alluring new track “Float Away” today, Friday, June 28, across digital platforms. With a strong rhythmic pulse, trebly guitar lines, dreamy synths, and an irresistible melody, it’s featured on their much-anticipated sophomore album ECHO AFTERNOON (due September 6 via Better Noise Music).

“Float Away” was written by vocalist Brendan Hoye during a period of writer’s block he experienced during the COVID pandemic. “With life on pause around the world, it felt impossible to draw inspiration from anything,” shares Hoye. “Nothing was thrilling during lockdown, but everyone was searching for hobbies, watching tv shows, and making bread.  I thought about how these were fun distractions, but I never felt like I was escaping the mundaneness of my reality.  I thought harder about what had recently been providing me with that escape and decided I would write the most embarrassing song I’d ever written, but that it would never see the light of day.”

“Fast forward a few months and I showed the band the song thinking it would be a good laugh,” Hoye recalls. “Unfortunately, to my horror, they loved it and insisted it be on the record.  It’s a song that saved me as a writer, a song that makes me cringe when I remember that my grandma listens to my music, a song that feels right at home in our live show, and a song about giving.”

Stream “Float Away” now at https://finishticket.ffm.to/floataway. Watch its lyric video streaming below or via YouTube HERE.

Co-produced by FINISH TICKET, Jim Kaufman (Danny Worsnop, Helmet, Atlas Genius), and Michael Coleman (Chappel Roan, Sure Sure, Em Beihold), ECHO AFTERNOON’s 12 tracks show the band at their most vulnerable as they narrate the struggles and anxiety of being stuck in limbo while trying to find an escape to a brighter future. The album is an emotional roller coaster allowing listeners who’ve faced the uncertainty in their own lives to relate and to look forward to a brighter future. Pre-order ECHO AFTERNOON on cd, vinyl and/or digital LP now at https://finishticket.ffm.to/echoafternoon.

FINISH TICKET have toured alongside the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Ed Sheeran, Fall Out Boy, AWOLNATION, and The Beaches. They’ve also made key festival appearances including Bonnaroo, Life Is Beautiful, Outside Lands, and Lollapalooza.

Catch them on the road this summer with indie rockers Nico Vega across North America from July 22 to August 2. Tickets are available now HERE. Dates as follows:

ABOUT FINISH TICKET:
FINISH TICKET have taken fans, and themselves, on a rollercoaster ride throughout their career with a whirlwind of highs and lows. After creating a wave with sold-out shows across the Bay Area and their debut album Tears You Apart, they were picked up by Atlantic Records who released their EP When Night Becomes Day. They made their debut late-night TV performance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien.” In 2019, FINISH TICKET self-released their hit track “Dream Song,” which garnered over 4.1 million streams and saw the band embark on a successful headlining tour, selling out multiple venues across the country. Then COVID hit in 2020 and put everything to a halt.

After spending the past three years writing and recording their second full-length album, Echo Afternoon, FINISH TICKET signed a record deal with Better Noise Music and released the record’s first track “Changing” in July 2023. This was supported by a U.S. run with The Beaches followed by a summer long tour which included a performance at Lollapalooza (alongside headlining acts Billie Eilish and Karol G) and Arizona’s Innings Fest.

CORY MARKS Highlights Dual Rock/Country Persona with Two New Tracks: “Guilty (feat. DL of Bad Wolves)” & “Drunk When I’m High”

DT: JUNE 28, 2024

FM: KELLY WALSH, MITCH SCHNEIDER / SRO PR

CORY MARKS
HIGHLIGHTS HIS DUAL COUNTRY/ROCK PERSONA
WITH RELEASE OF TWO NEW TRACKS:
ROCK-LEANING
“GUILTY (FEAT. DL OF BAD WOLVES)”
AND
COUNTRY SUMMER ANTHEM
“DRUNK WHEN I’M HIGH”
OUT DIGITALLY TODAY, JUNE 28 VIA BETTER NOISE MUSIC

Equally divided between arena-rock and roots country, singer-songwriter CORY MARKS has released a double serving of new music today, June 28, with the rock-leaning “Guilty” featuring guest vocals from DL of Bad Wolves, and country-oriented summer anthem “Drunk When I’m High.” Both tracks are available digitally via all streaming platforms and will be included on MARKS’ forthcoming solo album due later this year via Better Noise Music.

Guilty (feat. DL of Bad Wolves)” was produced, engineered and mixed by Kile Odell (Failure Anthem, Nita Strauss). “‘Guilty’ is really all about being unapologetically yourself and being okay with that,” says MARKS. “Having DL of Bad Wolves join me on this track really adds more fuel to this rock song making it even harder and heavier—he sounds great on it. If living my life is a crime, then I’m guilty.” Stream/download “Guilty (feat. DL of Bad Wolves)” here: https://corymarks.ffm.to/guilty. Watch the music video HERE.

“This song was a really fun listen from the first time, so when I got the opportunity to sing on it, I was stoked,” shares DL. “This was really enjoying to do, thanks to Cory for having me.”

“Drunk When I’m High” was produced, engineered and mixed by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain) at The Hideout Recording Studio in Henderson, NV. According to MARKS, “This summer anthem is just supposed to make you feel good, happy and upbeat. It’s a great song to turn up and play in your car, on your boat, at a house party, just chilling on a beach or by the pool all summer long. Drunk while I’m high watching days go by…” Stream/download “Drunk When I’m High” here: https://corymarks.ffm.to/guilty. Watch the music video HERE.

MARKS has brought his country-rock fusion in front of a diverse range of audiences across Canada and the U.S. alongside acts including Five Finger Death Punch, ZZ Top, Toby Keith, and Brantley Gilbert, while also joining Nickelback on the main stage at this year’s Boots and Hearts festival. This summer, MARKS will appear at several festivals in Canada and a handful of headlining shows. See dates listed below and find ticket details at https://www.corymarks.com. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for a special U.S. tour announcement.

MARKS’ 2020 groundbreaking debut album, Who I Am, landed at #1 on several Canadian charts including iTunes’ “Country Songs” and the Canadian Nielsen “Digital Sales Rock Genre” charts. The album featured the hit rock single “Outlaws & Outsiders,” which charted at #1 in the U.S. on Billboard’s “Rock Digital Song Sales” chart and #5 on iTunes “Country Songs. “Outlaws & Outsiders” made history in the U.S. by being the first-ever Top 10 rock radio-charting single from a Canadian country act. The single has received over 160 million streams to date while achieving Platinum certification in Canada (MARKS’ home country) and Gold certification in the U.S. MARKS has since released three additional EPs and kicked off 2024 with a new track, “A Different Kind Of Year,” which to date has accumulated 1 million streams and charted in the Top 10 on SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Radio.

Active rock heavyweights NOTHING MORE mark the release of their new album CARNAL via Better Noise Music today (June 28) by landing their second-ever #1 single on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay charts with “IF IT DOESN’T HURT.” It follows the band’s debut #1 single, 2017’s “Go To War,” which recently became RIAA Gold-Certified and received two Grammy Award nominations (“Best Rock Song” and “Best Rock Performance”).

The 3x Grammy-nominated band—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—have today also shared a compelling and ferocious music video for the album track “STUCK” featuring rapper Sinizter. Watch it now on YouTube HERE or streaming below.

CARNAL also features two previously released singles: the emotionally charged “ANGEL SONG” (featuring iconic rock vocalist / singer-songwriter David Draiman of the 5x Platinum certified group Disturbed) and the defiant “HOUSE ON SAND” (featuring I Prevail vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe).

Recorded with Grammy-nominated producer WZRD BLD (Disturbed, Motionless In White, A Day To Remember), CARNAL unites NOTHING MORE’s trademark introspective philosophical lyrics and unapologetically massive anthems with in-your-face rockers designed for an all-encompassing audience. Blabbermouth hails the album as “one of the band’s most eclectic releases to date.” CARNAL is out now via digital download, CD, vinyl, and cassette tape at https://nothingmore.ffm.to/carnal.

NOTHING MORE will host a special listening party tonight (June 28) in Nashville before taking their new album on the road across the U.S. this summer/fall, from August 31 to September 24, on the headlining “Carnal Tour 2024”. It features support from Set It Off, From Ashes To New, and Post Profit. NOTHING MORE will also perform a handful of dates as direct support to rock legends Godsmack (7/23-26, 10/17-26) and hit the stages at several top rock festivals including Rocklahoma, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock. The band were also announced earlier this week as headliners for 2025’s ShipRocked cruise. Find all upcoming dates and ticket information HERE.
