[Las Vegas, NV – SEPTEMBER 5, 2025] – Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH (@5fdp) are marking their 20th anniversary with the release of two definitive greatest hits collections: Best Of – Volume 1 (available now) and, announced today, Best Of – Volume 2 (forthcoming October 24, 2025). Both collections feature newly re-recorded versions of the band’s biggest anthems, created in response to their former label’s sale of the original song masters – made without the band’s knowledge or the opportunity to reclaim their legacy.

Turning that setback into something powerful and positive, the band chose not to simply remix or remaster but to fully re-record fan favorites across two volumes of greatest hits – both as a tribute to the songs and to the fans who’ve stood with the band over the last two decades.

While respecting and honoring the original recordings and those who helped shape them, the band is excited to revisit and bring renewed intensity to tracks like “Sham Pain,” “Blue On Black,” “Trouble,” and “Burn MF.” Together, the two Best Of collections celebrate the band’s respect for the past while reintroducing the music for a new era. Leading the charge as the first single from Best Of – Volume 2 is the 2025 version of “The End” featuring BABYMETAL. Vocalist SU-METAL reflects: “We were invited to take part in a 20th-anniversary collaboration project featuring guest artists on past songs. Five Finger Death Punch and BABYMETAL had performed at the same festival overseas back in 2015, so I was really happy thinking they might have remembered me from then. I sang Japanese lyrics inspired by and based on the original lyrics of “The End,” and spent a lot of time experimenting to figure out what kind of voice would best suit such a deep, cool track. My favorite part of the song is the flow from the section starting with “Negai o kakete” right after the chorus into the break — I loved how my voice gradually got covered and engulfed by Ivan’s growl, which gave me chills. I hope listeners will enjoy that moment as well.”

“No one gets away this easy…I will kill for you,” sings Larissa Vale, the indomitable frontwoman of BLACK SATELLITE on the sonically intense and lyrically unflinching “Kill For You” from their self-released second full-length album AFTERMATH, due tomorrow, September 5. Coming off their 2025 U.S. tour as support for Marilyn Manson, NYC-based BLACK SATELLITE artfully fuse industrial and metal influences to create a sound that’s dark, edgy, and distinctly their own.

“The song explores the lengths someone will go to for those they love, and at what point that starts to border on obsession,” says Larissa Vale about “Kill For You.” “I like to conquer my fears in my music videos. ‘Kill For You’ was no exception, and in this case it was a bit more literal. The last thing I’d ever want to do is let a tarantula crawl all over my face…so I thought why not just do it?!”

AFTERMATH was self-produced along with Kane Churko (Papa Roach, In This Moment), and with mixes by veteran producer Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Filter).

“The album explores a lot of darker themes,” says Vale about the new music. “Each song is a snapshot into various personal experiences in my life and my mindset at the time. There’s definitely a good mix of sonic components on the record ranging from heavier songs to more melodic ones as well.”

AFTERMATH is the follow-up to the band’s debut album ENDLESS, hailed by Alternative Press as one of their “12 Bands You Need To Know.” AP cited “provocative sound and captivating alt-rock essence,” while Billboard described the title track noted that “The sound of ‘Endless’ s absolutely huge…Syrupy vocal hooks abound, drizzled over whole mountain ranges of studio-shined guitar tapestries.” The video for the title track has spawned over 196k views on their official YouTube page.

Since their debut, BLACK SATELLITE has toured with the likes of the aforementioned Marilyn Manson, John 5, Nita Strauss, Drowning Pool, Wednesday 13, Cradle of Filth, and Devil Driver. They’ve also made appearances at Metal In The Mountains Fest and Blue Ridge Rock Fest.

[Los Angeles, CA – September 3, 2025] — Alt rock favorites Yellowcard are celebrating their first-ever #1 record with “Better Days,” ending the longest wait for a first leader at the format. Now comes word that it’s topping the alternative radio charts for the second week in a row.

BETTER DAYS is also the title of the band’s first full-length album in almost a decade. This highly anticipated album is produced in full by Travis Barker and will be available on October 10. Watch the “Better Days” video HERE.

The single “Better Days” is an unflinching reflection on gratitude, forgiveness, perspective, and purpose. Once ubiquitous on MTV and the Billboard Hot 100, the Vans Warped Tour veterans, whose first two albums produced double-platinum and gold title tracks, sound fully recharged and revitalized in 2025. William Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez, and Josh Portman have never sounded stronger.

Violinist Mackin says: “Man it has been a wild and exciting week. After all this time in a band and being away from the band, I just never imagined that we’d ever have a number one song in anything, but it’s official. At the end of the week ‘Better Days’ was number one at Alternative Radio. We have so many people helping us, and believing in us and rooting for us and we hear you, we feel you, we love you, and we are so grateful. The band agreed that making a new album was pointless unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and for the first time gave themselves permission to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his long-time friend Nick Long into the writing sessions and it was through Long that Barker became part of the project, coming on board to play drums and produce the whole album.”

“I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed,” says frontman Ryan Key who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative studio breakthroughs “ I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again.”

Formed in Jacksonville, FL in 1997 Yellowcard became one of the most influential bands in the 2000’s alternative rock scene known for blending high energy pop punk with a signature violin twist. Their 2003 breakthrough Ocean Avenue is certified Platinum with the title track bring two times platinum. With over four million albums sold worldwide and over one billion streams the band is poised for continued success on this new endeavor. The COPA ROOM at Tuscany Suites & Casino launched its weekend rock entertainment in mid-July with an upgraded sound system. The 18+ venue has a capacity of 150-200 (depending on the layout), with areas designed for both seating and standing. “It’s good to see the Tuscany stepping up to give live music a proper venue in Sin City,” noted Taylor T Carlson in his ZRockR review (8/15/2025) of the Saints of Las Vegas show.

DD VERNI & THE CADILLAC BAND have today (August 22) released the second single “Two Of A Kind” from their upcoming album BUCKLE UP, which marries rock ‘n roll’s visceral energy and succinct songwriting to suave, swinging throwback arrangements and aesthetics. “Two Of A Kind” notably features the Reverend Horton Heat’s Jim Heath. The song, written by Walden Cassotto and Johnny Mercer, was originally featured on Bobby Darin and Johnny Mercer’s 1961 Two of a Kind album. Listen to the song HERE and watch the video HERE.

“Doing this song with the great Jim Heath was just a a blast!” DD says. “Total pro, he came it and we just hit it off, laughing telling stories etc. It’s funny to have two people from totally different backgrounds—I’m an Italian guy from New Jersey, and he’s a southern guy from Texas—-to share a love for some of the same kind of music just speaks to the power of great songs.”

DD continues, “I first saw Reverend Horton Heat up in Mass, they were doing the show the night before Overkill was playing the NEMHF and I was blown away. Just a great band and a great guitar player. We had never met, I called him completely out of the blue and said I would love you to do this song with you, and he graciously said let’s do to. I came to find out he was a big Johnny Mercer fan and I am a big Bobby Darin fan so it just seemed a great match. We actually met the first time at the video shoot itself!…up until then it had been phone calls and texts.”

“I’m so glad DD asked me to do this duet of ‘Two of a Kind’” Jim Heath says. “The original version by Bobby Darin and Johnny Mercer really speaks to me. When I listened back to my part, singing the Johnny Mercer part, I realized that I kind of sound like Johnny Mercer! I guess that all of those old J. Mercer records my parents played really rubbed off on me—why fight it? I’m thrilled to be on this recording and thrilled to be in the video. It’s an honor to be included with DD and such skilled musicians, recording engineers, and videographers.”

Heath adds, “Working with DD was great. DD Verni and the Cadillac Band have a unique take on swing music, and I think it’s pretty ingenious. The song is cool, and the arrangement is solid with heavy-hitter musicians. Then, when we did the video, during the breaks, I got to talk with DD at length about our careers and discovered that we have a lot in common. Our careers and lives kind of run parallel and there are many shared experiences.”

On BUCKLE UP, out September 19 via DEKO, DD makes big band music more accessible and relatable than ever on the 14-track album. “Two Of A Kind” follows the album’s first track “Lucky 13” (released July 18). BUCKLE UP brings the storm-the-stage ethic of Overkill to DD’s lifelong love of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Fats Domino and, more recently, the Brian Setzer Orchestra. BUCKLE UP picks up and goes further than their exciting 2021 debut album Let’s Rattle, on which DD sang and played red hot guitar. BUCKLE UP retains all its predecessor’s verve and vitality while adding more evolved horn arrangements written by Jim McMillen, known for his work on TV’s “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Bridgerton,” and with Grammy-winning artists Christina Aguilera and Ricky Kej.

“When I’m writing and demoing these songs, it’s just a guitar and me,” DD explained. “And they should be able to have that energy with just that, before anything else is added.”

Indeed, DD’s fun-first rocker’s approach and robust songcraft has attracted a who’s-who of musicians to the Cadillac Band, intrigued by its stylistic nuances and go-for-broke ethos. BUCKLE UP features longtime Brian Setzer drummer Bernie Dresel and slap bassist Johnny Hatton; horn players with Paul McCartney’s band and The Eagles; pianist Or Matias (Josh Groban/Broadway music director); guitarist Angus Clark (Trans-Siberian Orchestra); and backing vocals by acclaimed pop-rock duo Kingston and GreyStarr. Recorded in New Jersey and Los Angeles, BUCKLE UP was produced by DD and mixed by Michael Frondelli (Billy Idol, Pat Benatar etc.)
