“Finish Ticket is the perfect example of modern indie rock. They have an intense energy and joy playing the music, with a heavy focus on guitar.”
– Luckbox Magazine (“The Best Rock at Lollapalooza 2023”)

Alt rock group FINISH TICKET are excited to release their second full-length album ECHO AFTERNOON today, September 6, via Better Noise Music. Co-produced by the band alongside Jim Kaufman (Atlas Genius, Helmet, Danny Worsnop) and Michael Coleman (Chappell Roan, Sure Sure, Em Beihold), ECHO AFTERNOON’s 12 tracks show the band at their most vulnerable as they take listeners on an emotional roller coaster narrating the struggles and anxiety of being stuck in limbo while trying to find an escape to a brighter future. The band have shared four tracks from the album–“Changing,” “Let You Go,” “Float Away,” and “Peace of Mind”– all of which underline their melodic flair, engagingly upbeat rhythms, and vocalist Brendan Hoye’s wide-ranging vocals.

FINISH TICKET have shared a new music video for “Bad Times,” a song which inspires hope in finding happiness and love after overcoming past failed relationships and dark times. The band recently encountered some “bad times” of their own after their tour van died while they were en route for the first night of their tour with Nico Vega in July. Hoye was able to overcome the hiccup and hitch a ride with Nico Vega and complete the tour solo with just an acoustic guitar. Watch the “Bad Times” music video now via YouTube HERE or streaming below.

“This album was difficult for us,” shares vocalist Brendan Hoye. “Many walls to scale and pits to climb from. We are relieved and proud to have it out in the world, and have our family, friends, and fans to thank for sticking with us and supporting us through the process. We hope you enjoy this record. In our opinion, it is best listened to from sunset to dusk. And LOUD.”

ECHO AFTERNOON is available via CD, Vinyl, and digital download. Get it now at https://finishticket.ffm.to/echoafternoon

FINISH TICKETHoye, Alex DiDonato (guitar), Gabe Stein (drums), and Ryan Blair (bass)— made their debut late-night TV performance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” following the release of their 2014 debut album Tears You Apart (Atlantic Records) and a wave of sold-out shows across the Bay Area.

In 2019, FINISH TICKET self-released their hit track “Dream Song,” which garnered over 4.2 million streams and saw the band embark on a successful headlining tour, selling out multiple venues across the country. Then COVID hit in 2020 and brought everything to a halt.

After spending the past three years writing and recording their second full-length album, Echo Afternoon, FINISH TICKET signed a record deal with Better Noise Music. This was supported by a U.S. run with The Beaches followed by a summer long tour which included a performance at Lollapalooza (alongside headlining acts Billie Eilish and Karol G) and Arizona’s Innings Fest.

IAN GOTHE & FERNANDO PERDOMO Announce ‘NEVER LET GO’–A TRIBUTE TO CAMEL; Share Two Songs From Album

DT: SEPTEMBER 6, 2024

FM: KELLY WALSH/MITCH SCHNEIDER, SRO PR

IAN GOTHE & FERNANDO PERDOMO
SET TO RELEASE
‘NEVER LET GO’—A TRIBUTE TO CAMEL
ON SEPTEMBER 27
VIA THINK LIKE A KEY MUSIC

REVEAL TWO SONGS:
THE TITLE TRACK
“NEVER LET GO”
(ORIGINALLY RELEASED BY CAMEL IN 1973)
&
“CITY LIFE”
(ORIGINALLY RELEASED BY CAMEL IN 1981)
PAIRED WITH A FUTURISTIC ANIMATED VIDEO

If you Google the band Camel, it will lead you into a rabbit hole of discovery about the ‘70s British prog rock band. While they didn’t achieve mass success, the group has been viewed by enthusiasts as unsung heroes of the genre, leaving their mark on artists like Marillion and Steven Wilson.

And now, two modern-day American virtuosos, IAN GOTHE and FERNANDO PERDOMO, have taken 11 iconic Camel tracks and given them a fresh makeover on NEVER LET GO—A Tribute to Camel. Due out September 27 via the Think Like A Key Music label, the 11-track sonic oasis features imaginative takes on the band’s classics like “Never Let Go” (from 1973) “Air Born” (1976), and “City Life” (1981). See the album’s track listing below. Pre-order NEVER LET GO—A Tribute to Camel at https://tlak.rocks/neverletgo.

GOTHE and PERDOMO share two new samples of the reimagined tracks: the stimulating single/title track “Never Let Go”—out digitally now HERE—and an animated video for “City Life,” which can be seen streaming below or via YouTube HERE.

From devoted Camel-ites to prog neophytes, NEVER LET GO offers something for everyone. It’s not just a tribute; it’s a love letter to prog rock, a masterclass in musicianship, and a journey through time and space. It’s where Prog Past Meets Prog Future.

“I was fortunate to be induced to Camel’s music at a young age and it greatly affected me at every level,” says IAN. “Camel’s music became the soundtrack to my life.  Whenever I meet another Camel fan, as I did while working on a shorter cover of Camel’s ‘Air Born’ on my album Memento with Fernando, I found another soul who had been touched by this music as deeply as I had.  Making a Camel tribute album has been a long-time dream of mine and now just seemed like a natural progression for us to make it happen together.  Our ultimate hope and goal? That this project will continue to give Camel’s gift of music to new ears, so that Camel’s talent, message and efforts never die.”

“When I started working on Ian’s Memento album, I was delighted to see that it had a Camel cover,” explains FERNANDO. “We have since bonded on our love of Camel, Steve Hackett, and other melodic progressive rock bands. To hear Camel is to love Camel. Unfortunately, not enough people have even heard of Camel, especially in the States. So making this record will hopefully help shine a light on the amazing music the band has made in their five-decade history. Ian and I are just two massive Camel fans who truly have enjoyed making these great songs our own.”

NEVER LET GO was produced and engineered by PERDOMO and GOTHE, mixed and mastered by Zach Ziskin, and recorded in Los Angeles at Sherman Oaks-based Forward Motion Studios. GOTHE’s credits on the album: vocal, 6 & 12-string acoustic guitar, classical guitar, flute, bass, tanpura. PERDOMO’s credits: electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, electric sitar, harmony vocal

The album’s sonic highlights include:

  • A veritable prog orchestra: 6 & 12-string guitars, flute, bass, tanpura, keyboards, drums, and electric sitar
  • Dave Kerzner’s keyboard wizardry on “Never Let Go”
  • Durga McBroom of Pink Floyd lending ethereal vocals to “Another Night”

NEVER LET GO is proof, you might say, that you can teach an old Camel new tricks. It’s the perfect soundtrack for your next desert trek or interstellar journey.

ABOUT IAN GOTHE:
Born to an Armenian family in Iran, Ian Gothe spent much of his adolescence traveling across continents in search of a home. A childhood filled with loss and loneliness provided the impetus for Gothe to continually turn to music as his friend and confidant. His initial inspiration came from a recording of the Doors “Spanish Caravan,” a song well known for its complex and compelling guitar rifts that still capture audience’s attention today. Gothe was not immune, and his petition for a guitar of his own was driven by his desire to play those well-worn, haunting lines with ease. After Gothe and his hard-won guitar left Iran before the revolution, the 14 year old lived with family in England and later made his way to the United States by way of a year in Baltimore before finally settling in Los Angeles, where he lives today.

Gothe’s musical career has been marked by false starts and missed opportunities, a reality not unexpected for a young man in the throes of wandering and learning about both music and life on his own. In his twenties Gothe composed a high-energy dance song “Cleopatra” produced by Christian De Walden, that became a number one hit in Italy. Years of career pursuits and family life relegated music to an occasional hobby, but after the dissolution of his 20-year marriage, Gothe returned to music, his first love. Allowing him to create projects from both his heart and soul. Citing the influences of British bands such as Camel and Genesis, and many less well-known musicians, Gothe’s style is an eclectic triumph that fuses not only musical genres but also crosses language barriers as well with songs that feature both English and his native Armenian.

Gothe brings to his compositions and arrangements a depth that can only be found in those who have longed for something and dedicated themselves to the search for answers to life’s questions. The devotion to his craft is apparent in his careful attention to detail that is married to his holistic vision of art and music as avenues for cultivating inspiration. Gothe’s understanding of music transcends the notes themselves, and he reminds us that “there is beauty in silence “ when he leaves uncharacteristic space between each track for the music to breathe. The artistic choices that Gothe makes as he constructs each piece are evidence of an artist who has emerged from a journey, confident and ready to create from a place of authentic introspection.

Ian Gothe’s first full-length album, Memento, released by Blackbird Record Label, organizes around the eternal human question of belonging. This collection of both self-composed inspirations and masterful covers is a personal pilgrimage through Gothe’s life, where each song serves to mark the experiences and emotions that have defined his journey from wandering youth to accomplished musician in Los Angeles.

The album, a serendipitous and welcome collaboration with GRAMMY award- winning producer Jim Scott, is Gothe’s long-overdue musical rebirth that perhaps makes his earlier wanderings almost worthwhile. They say that good things come to those who wait. This has been true for Gothe’s artistic vision, as well as those who have had the opportunity to travel this lyrical trek with him. “Memento” features performances by all-star musicians Derek Frank (Shania Twain, Gwen Stefani), Fernando Perdomo (Jakob Dylan, Fiona Apple), Tamir Barzilay (Macy Gray, Tal Wilkenfeld), Sam Babayan (The Dirty Diamond). Upon hearing Gothe’s cover of “Spanish Caravan”, Robby Krieger of the Doors, endorsed his cover and the video was premiered on Guitar Player.

Gothe’s musical homecoming in Memento is a fitting creation for him to share his experience with the world and to remind himself that despite the meandering nature of his journey and the pain and loss that he sustained along the way, the music is itself his inspiration and the place that he can always call home.

Grammy Award-winner and 5X Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement-winner MICKI FREE and Santana vocalist Ray Greene take viewers inside the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas to illuminate the newly unveiled video for “When The Devil’s At Your Door.” Watch it streaming below or via MICKI’s YouTube HERE.

FREE’s incendiary guitar lines and Greene’s soulful vocals light up this wickedly groove-laden track from MICKI’s new EP DREAMCATCHER via Bungalo Records / Universal Music Group. The Jack Banks-directed video was filmed in Las Vegas, NV, where MICKI resides, at the acclaimed Neon Boneyard—an outdoor exhibition space which contains more than 250 reilluminated iconic neon signs from Vegas’ dazzling past. “We chose the Neon Boneyard as it references Las Vegas…Sin City,” states MICKI. “With all the temptation in Vegas I thought it was perfect for the song. Even when you’re trying to toe the line, the devil’s always at your door.”

“‘When The Devil’s At Your Door’ is a reflection on past things I may have done in my life,” says MICKI, “knowing that if I wanted to ‘soar with the angels’ I need to make atonement for my past deeds.” He elaborates. “It’s like saying what you reap, you will sow…but I wanted the groove to be sinfully suggestive, so I added killer vocals from Ray Greene, the lead singer of Santana.”

MICKI shared how he came to enlist Greene, saying: “While at dinner with Cindy & Carlos (Santana), we were discussing who I should get to play bass on my EP. Carlos suggested Benny, his bassist in Santana, and Cindy agreed. After Benny was on board, I reached out to Ray Greene, Santana’s lead vocalist, and asked him to perform on ‘When The Devil’s At Your Door’ and he was on board as well! I’m so happy with the outcome of this project and my friendship with Carlos Santana, and his band…his guidance and advice were truly inspiring.”

Written, produced, and arranged by MICKI (who performed all guitars, lead and background vocals, and Native American flute), DREAMCATCHER was recorded between Rio Grande Studios in New Mexico with producer Ken Riley and Studio A Las Vegas with producer Myles Martin (The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott). For the studio sessions, MICKI enlisted members of Santana’s band including Cindy Blackman Santana (drums), Benny Rietveld (bass) and Ray Greene (vocals). The EP also includes guest appearances from bassist Rhonda Smith (Prince, Jeff Beck) and Mark “Muggie Do” Leach on Hammond organ and piano.

MICKI’s monthly residency at Backstage Bar & Billiards in downtown Vegas–“An Evening With Micki Free: Songs and Stories From A Life In Music”—will take place on Thursday, September 26.

Singer-songwriter Annie Bosko to perform at Stoney’s North Forty inside Santa Fe Station this Friday, Sept. 6

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 3, 2024

SINGER-SONGWRITER ANNIE BOSKO PERFORMS AT STONEY’S NORTH FORTY THIS FRIDAY, SEPT. 6

WHAT:             Acclaimed singer-songwriter Annie Bosko will perform this Friday at Stoney’s North Forty inside Santa Fe Station for a special pop-up show. The evening also features line dance lessons at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. and free rides on the mechanical bull.

WHERE:          Stoney’s North Forty inside Santa Fe Station
4949 N. Rancho Drive

WHEN:            This Friday, September 6, 2024, at 9 p.m.

COVER:           Admission is just $10 (21 and over, please).

ABOUT ANNIE BOSKO

Sometimes an artistic career can take you so far, you end up back where you started – and for Stone Country Records singer-songwriter Annie Bosko, that’s just fine.

With a voice that beams like a ray of California sunshine, Bosko’s country music journey has seen her travel the world, evolving and exploring with the respect of fans and heroes alike. But after years of hard knocks and creative shapeshifting, Bosko is now coming home. Home to the record deal of her dreams. Home to simple country songs told from the heart, equal parts healing and hope. She’s come home to a sound and approach anchored deep in the organic twang of the ‘90s golden era – a sound inspiring several chart toppers today and to hear her tell it, not a moment too soon.

Call it a full circle breakthrough for a celebrated stylist who was always just on the cusp – and always punching above her weight. A Californian farmer’s daughter with a work ethic to match, Bosko’s first musical love was legendary crooners like Patsy Cline, and for her own personal style, she added traits like Twain’s empowering energy, Strait’s rugged confidence, Dwight Yoakam’s neo-traditional, western rock edge and the melodic genius of The Beatles.

As a teen, she went from sneaking into karaoke bars to singing on the soundtrack of Disney’s The Little Mermaid 2, and by the mid-2000s had made her way to Music City. Intent on writing her own ticket (and songs), she adapted as best she could for the “bro-country” era – but even then, her biggest success let her traditional roots show. By 2015, a foot-stomping anthem to sweetheart rebellion called “Crooked Halo” became a hit on both SiriusXM and CMT, and with mandolins and banjos featured front and center, it has now amassed more than 3 million streams.

Bosko went on to write songs recorded by Willie Nelson and Jessica Simpson, tour alongside Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton, sell out the famed Troubadour and perform on the Grand Ole Opry and at Ryman Auditorium – the fabled Mother Church of Country Music. Her smooth, supple voice made her an in-demand studio musician, recording backing vocals for icons like Adele, Andrea Bocelli, and Darius Rucker. And through it all, she was lauded by tastemakers like Rolling Stone Country as an “Artist to Watch.”

Still, she felt the bumps and bruises of an independent artist’s life, and even moved home a few times – only to be pulled back by icons like Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam and Raul Malo, who graciously appeared on a series of grittier tracks coming out of a much-needed pandemic re-centering.

That chapter was another experiment, Bosko explains, but the validation of her heroes taught a priceless lesson – namely, to trust her instincts. So, she’s now using those instincts to embrace her true nature. Signed to Stone Country Records and working with producers Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones, a new batch of music pairs unapologetic twang, clever wordplay and deep compassion with her longstanding downhome-diva vocal. Bosko found a way to stop overthinking, and just do what feels right.

With a “fearless” pure-country sound and edge-of-your-seat songwriting, Bosko captures the full range of this American art form at its best – working with co-writers like Jeffrey Steele, Bridgette Tatum, Danny Myrick and more to uplift, inspire or just sing along with women everywhere.

Tracks like the grooving “Neon Baby” capture the sensual side of mature femininity, as Bosko flexes her “neo-traditional” soul for a passionate, steel-laced slow burner. “I think we have enough male-bashing songs out there,” she says with a laugh. “This is the antithesis to that.” Others like “Boots On” re-ignite the line-dancing energy and all-out fun of the ‘90s, offering a wild ride of guitar riffs, soaring melodies and let-your-hair-down lyrics, dedicated to women who truly do it all (with their boots on). Meanwhile, fiddle rockers like “Honky Tonk Highway” tribute the women bold enough to chase their dreams – wherever they lead – and the tongue-in-cheek “He Gone” continues country’s long history of fun (but undeniably intelligent) wordplay. “Sass is definitely a part of who I am, and it’s always been in country music, too,” Bosko says. “That’s always been the beauty of it – country music can be about beer drinking and having fun, or it can make you cry.” That truth is on full display in “Dandelions” – a powerful-yet-tender ballad dedicated to the families of the tragic shooting at Nashville’s Covenant School. Pairing heartbroken lyrics with the delicate warmth of Bosko’s voice, the track was written on March 27, 2023 – lost in grief and capturing the reverberating shock of that day’s unfathomable loss … while still holding on to faith. Embraced by the families themselves, all proceeds from “Dandelions” are being donated for their benefit through ACM Lifting Lives. But the song’s impact goes beyond this one community. That hope can also be found in “Sometimes I Forget,” as the tried-and-true artist delivers a “much needed” message of gratitude. With spirit-lifting lyrics and a sonic swell of warm country rock, it’s an acknowledgment of the little things we take for granted– those small blessings that make us “us.” For Bosko, finally being able to see those little things has let her become the country artist she was always meant to be.

ABOUT DAVID VOSS & BIG COUNTRY

Although David has roots in Texas, Kansas, and Utah, he has spent more than 20 years calling Arizona home, and Arizona is the birthplace of his own dream, David Voss & Big Country. As is the case with most music lovers, music has been used to define the biggest moments of his life.  Each song from his life channels memories and invokes emotions of all types and feelings. Most of David’s musical roots come from his seven brothers and sisters and parents who also love music. His earliest memories are of his parents filling their home with the varied music of The Beatles, Barbershop Quartet, Gospel Choir Music, Rod Stewart, The Bee Gees, John Phillip Sousa, The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, and Neil Diamond.

Sharing a room with his high school age oldest brother introduced him to bands such as Pink Floyd, Queen, Sex Pistols, Michael Jackson, and a slew of early 80’s hairbands such as Ratt. With his older brother leaving the home after high school, David’s older sisters continued to shape his musical tastes introducing him to 80’s Rock and Pop. David listened to everything from U2, Erasure, and Depeche Mode to Metallica and 80’s Glam hairbands such as Bon Jovi, Poison, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Warrant, Motley Crue, and White Snake.   It is interesting that up to that point, there was no exposure to David’s current art form and muse, Country Music.

It wasn’t until high school that David was exposed and found love for the simplicity and majesty of “Three Chords and the Truth.”  A new kid moved into the neighborhood from North Carolina. This friend listened to almost nothing else but country.  This being the early 90’s, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and George Strait were the kings of the moment.  From there, David fell in line with the mainstream crowd immersing himself with the riffs, harmonies, and poetic lyrics from the two-stepping tunes and the love songs of the time.   However, David’s high school friend gave him more than a taste of the founding fathers such as Hank Sr., Hank Jr., Waylon, Merle, Johnny, Conway Twitty, and David Allen Coe.

ABOUT BUCKSHOT & BELL BOTTOMS

Hailing from Arizona, Buckshot & Bell Bottoms will have you dancing all night long!

ABOUT THE KRUSE BROTHERS

During a time when the popular choice is to chase the double yellow line down the road to country radio, fresh to the table, The Kruse Brothers want to earn their seat at the country music table, just not by chasing the status quo. The Arizona-raised five-piece is a fusion of Country, Rhythm & Blues, Americana, and folk-rock stacked on a blues foundation.

Chandler and Miles, the band’s core, take turns as lead vocalists, creating a dynamic duo that provides a diverse sound ready for an expansive audience. Their debut EP, ‘Mountain Red,’ released on all streaming platforms in May of 2024.

ABOUT AMERICAN MILE

Forming in 2018, American Mile has been carving their name into the roots of southern rock and country music around North America. With influences ranging from Aerosmith and The Black Crowes to Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, and Tom Petty, their powerful sound has garnered them important shows in front of thousands at festivals and stages.

Performances at Summerfest, the NASCAR Auto Club 400, a NYE headlining slot at The infamous Idaho Potato Drop in Boise, Concert In The Park Sacramento ’22, Country Summer Music Festival ’24, opening for artists such as Lindsey Ell, Tyler Rich, Kameron Marlowe, Buckcherry, Colt Ford, Nate Smith, Blue Oyster Cult, and after-parties for 3 Doors Down, Erich Church, and Old Dominion have proven American Mile is a must-see act time and time again.

American Mile drew attention around Los Angeles with their explosive stage presence and country rock/southern rock sound coupled with three-part harmonies. In 2020 American Mile released their debut-album “The Longest Road”. Grammy Nominated Producers/Songwriters Bruce Witkin and Keith Nelson contributed to the 11-track release, and in 2021 the band started working alongside national booking agency Mason Entertainment. American Mile does 200 gigs a year, including Moonshine Flats (San Diego), Goldfields (Sacramento), The Viper Room (Los Angeles) and many more up-and-down the West Coast.

ABOUT STEPHANIE QUAYLE

Stephanie Quayle is a Nashville recording artist who tours the world with her music and an entrepreneur with her own record label, Big Sky Music Group. Rolling Stone Country called her “an artist you need to know,” CMT named her as part of its “Next Women of Country” franchise, and she’s appeared on popular programs like The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. As an indie artist with two Billboard charted singles, “Selfish” and “Whatcha Drinkin ’Bout,” she has repeatedly performed at CMA Fest and the Grand Ole Opry. The Montana native has teamed up with recognizable brands like Wrangler, Harley-Davidson, Bass Pro Shops, Montana Silversmiths, as well as Lucchese Bootmaker in the creation of her exclusive boot line. Quayle’s latest album On the Edge chronicles her personal experience in a toxic relationship and the healing she’s gone through since—inspiring others and redefining her future. She also released her debut book, Why Do We Stay?, in April 2024. Why Do We Stay? is a continuation of the story she shared publicly for the first time on her album On the Edge, and with some additional insights from my friend W. Keith Campbell, PHD, they explore how to spot a toxic relationship, how to get out, and how to heal.

The eight tracks of On the Edge explore that fundamental human experience when in your darkest moments you are faced with a decision, when you’re forced to choose between descending into the darkness or seeking the light. On the Edge is a redemptive tale, and a profoundly personal one. It’s one in which Stephanie Quayle charts the stranger-than-fiction story in which she found herself — from the day the love of her young life shattered on an airport runway, and the harrowing aftermath of that tragedy — to the place of grace where she finds herself today.

The years that followed — The Lost Years — found her face down and wallowing in the dirt. “At 29, my whole world stopped,” she says. “It was a defining moment that made me question everything and wonder if I was ever going to sing again. She moved to Nashville, saw her songs hit the charts, garnered industry accolades, and performed at the Grand Ole Opry over ten times. Eventually she fell in love again, married North Carolina businessman David Couch in 2015, and embarked on the most productive and exciting period of her career. Stephanie founded her own record label and was turning out new material with several co-writers; she was traveling relentlessly and performing to an ever-growing fan base. In 2018 ‘Selfish’ cracked the Billboard chart. Then in 2019, “Whatcha Drinkin ‘Bout” was charging up the charts when along came Covid. In March 2020 Stephanie was on her way to perform as part of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Texas events when she had to cancel forty concerts and shelter in place at the North Carolina farm. Despite this setback, she quickly pivoted, finding new ways to connect to her fans while bringing music and farm animals into the lives of her followers. She started live-streaming, sharing eighty performances in eighty days, and recorded an album virtually with musicians in Nashville.

On the Edge explores the big themes in life and offers an unflinching portrait of grief, loss, betrayal, and redemption. And it does so with the singer’s signature honesty, humor, strength, and style. This music has helped her move forward, and she hopes it will do the same for others.

ABOUT STEPHEN WESLEY & THE MILLENIUM ALL-STARS

Featuring pop and alt-rock hits from the 90s and 00s, Stephen Wesley will be joined by Jerrod Bettis (formerly of OneRepublic); Scott Underwood (formerly of Train); Matt Fuller (formerly of Puddle of Mudd), and Kevin Cadogan (formerly of Third Eye Blind).

Stephen Wesley is a two-time Billboard charting artist. Stephen continues to push the boundaries of music and create his own sound. The genre-bending country singer/songwriter has done collaborations with several of music’s most accomplished and well-known bands and solo acts, from Slash of Guns N Roses fame to Smash Mouth, Bubba Sparxxx, and “Rock N Roll ft. T-Pain.”

ABOUT DREW BALDRIDGE

Drew Baldridge has achieved enormous success across all aspects of his career, and he is doing so on his own terms. With over 350M total catalog streams, Baldridge has carved his own independent path and continues to reach milestone after milestone.

Drew’s viral hit “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” has amassed over 400M TikTok impressions and has been streamed over 120M times with no editorial playlists. Since going to country radio, the track has hit the top 10 on Billboard Country Music Chart and is climbing to the top 5 on the charts with a fully independent team.

Signed to Sony Music Publishing, he is also an accomplished songwriter with 500+ songs under his belt including major label cuts for other artists like Bailey Zimmerman, LOCASH, Chase Matthew, and more. When he is not creating music, Baldridge is on the road performing headlining dates and touring with artist friends. He’s shared the stage with Eric Church, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan to name a few and has been on full tours with Granger Smith and LOCASH.

ABOUT REDFERRIN

A true Tennessee original with a sharp sonic bite. The perfect ingredient to get the party started or slow it down and create life-long memories. He packs a punch you can’t ignore, and although his mix of country heart and hip-hop swagger might be an acquired taste, he’s been bringing fans a full-bodied buzz for years now – most recently with his viral hit “Jack & Diet Coke”. But with his long-awaited Old No. 7 debut, those fans can now savor their buzz longer than ever.

The buzz around Warner Music Nashville country artist Redferrin is impossible to ignore as one of Nashville’s most unorthodox and innovative new singer/songwriters. His recent releases are full of adrenaline-pumping energy and rebellious swagger, providing just a sample of the kaleidoscopic musical textures he can create. With lyrics that serve as a manifesto for his take-it-or-leave-it style, Redferrin wants the new music to become a sonic mirror held up to today’s rural culture.

Born Blake Redferrin, the White House, Tennessee native spent his first 24 years on the pegs of a dirt bike, now harnessing that thrill-seeking spirit and relentless drive for a new kind of sound. He already boasts several successful cuts, including Florida Georgia Line’s hip-hop inspired “Countryside,” Nelly’s recent smash “Lil Bit,” and Dean Brody and The Reklaws’ “I Can’t Help Myself,” which showcased a knack for party starting, hitting No. 1 in Canada, and setting a record for the most one-week radio spins in the nation’s history. Redferrin is set to release more new music this year as he continues chasing high-speed dreams with the throttle pinned and no kill switch.

ABOUT OKTOBERFEST

Stoney’s brings a taste of Bavaria to the dance floor with a costume contest, beer specials, stein holding competitions, a beer pong tournament, and much more!

ABOUT TROY CARTWRIGHT

Troy Cartwright’s passion for music was ignited during a summer program at New York University, which exposed him to a world beyond his hometown of Dallas. After returning to Dallas, Cartwright quickly made a name for himself with the release of his EP, Bull Run. This debut earned him recognition at the 2013 B.W. Stevenson Songwriting Competition. In 2014, he received the Rising Star Texas Music Award. A notable performance with John Fullbright led him to collaborate with producer Wes Sharon in Oklahoma, resulting in his self-titled full-length debut album in 2015.

Cartwright’s music began to gain traction through radio play and extensive touring. This exposure caught the attention of Texas songwriter Rob Baird, who co-produced Cartwright’s EP Don’t Fade with Brian Douglas Phillips. Released on October 7, 2016, Don’t Fade landed Cartwright on several Billboard charts, including No. 60 on the US Country Chart and No. 8 on the Heatseekers South Central Chart. This success helped him secure a deal with William Morris Endeavor (WME).

In early 2017, Rolling Stone highlighted Cartwright as one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know.” He then moved to Nashville to immerse himself in the songwriter community, signing a worldwide publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music and joining Red Light Management. By mid-2018, Warner Music Nashville had signed Cartwright as a recording artist and songwriter. He soon began collaborating with Grammy Award-winning producer David Garcia. In the summer of 2019, Cartwright released his first singles with Warner Music Nashville, including Love Like We Used To and Hung Up On You. SiriusXM’s The Highway featured Love Like We Used To as its “YouTube Country Spotlight” and added it to the “On The Horizon” playlist. Later that year, Cartwright released My First Beer and Cake For Breakfast, the latter of which was highlighted by Billboard as one of the best new country songs of the week.

Troy Cartwright continues to release new music and perform live across the country. He has shared the stage with renowned acts such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Turnpike Troubadours, Randy Rogers Band, and Cody Jinks, among others.

BILLY MORRISON and LINDA PERRY Team For The Single And Video “Chasing Shadows Feat. Linda Perry”

BILLY MORRISON AND LINDA PERRY
TEAM FOR THE SINGLE AND VIDEO
“CHASING SHADOWS FEAT. LINDA PERRY”
REFLECTING THE MUSICAL DIVERSITY OF HIS SOLO ALBUM
‘THE MORRISON PROJECT’

Coming off his seismic #1 Active Rock Song “Crack Cocaine”—featuring OZZY OSBOURNE and STEVE STEVENS and co-written by all three artists—BILLY MORRISON has teamed with LINDA PERRY for the single and video ”Chasing Shadows feat. Linda Perry.” The Rage-directed video has premiered today (August 28), Watch it HERE and listen to the track HERE.

The MORRISON-penned “Chasing Shadows” is featured on his recently released solo album THE MORRISON PROJECT via TLG | ZOID | Virgin Music Group. The song reflects the album’s musical diversity and is being serviced to Americana/AAA. It is a big piano-anchored pop and rock ballad about a fractured romance, with moving, subtly poignant vocals by PERRY.

“Usually when someone sends me a song, there’s a lot of changes that are made on my part—melodies, lyrics, arrangements, etc,” says PERRY. “However, when Billy Morrison asked me to sing ‘Chasing Shadows,’ he told me to ‘do whatever I wanted to make it better,’ and to me, there simply wasn’t anything that needed changing. I really loved the demo he sang originally and that’s a sign of a solid song. Billy Morrison is an authentic rock star, in very un-authentic times. I am grateful to play a small part in his world.”

“I’d written a ballad, primarily on keyboards and acoustic guitar, and I had what I hoped was a decent lyric and melody to go with it,” explains MORRISON. “Linda and I go back quite a long way, and I think she has one of the most incredibly powerful and unique voices I’ve ever heard. So, despite knowing that she rarely sings on things like this, I threw a guide vocal down and sent her the song. To my amazement, not only did she agree to sing the song for my record, but she also didn’t feel the need to change anything at all! As a songwriter, to hear this from someone as respected and accomplished as Linda Perry made me feel incredibly honored. Her performance on this track is sublime and emotional and I’m proud to be releasing the song and video to the world.”

THE MORRISON PROJECT was released this past April, marking BILLY’s third solo album and first since 2015. The British guitarist, singer, and songwriter—primarily known as Billy Idol’s rhythm guitar player for the past 15 years alongside lead guitarist Steve Stevens—has assembled an electrifying 12 songs with guest performances by Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Corey Taylor, DMC, Al Jourgensen, Steve Vai, Steve Stevens, Linda Perry, Tommy Clufetos, John5, and more. The album was produced by BILLY, mixed by Barry Pointer, and mastered by Dave Donnelly. All the songs on the album—recorded in Los Angeles at various studios—were written by BILLY in collaboration with his guests. Read the album announcement HERE.

BAND TO RELEASE THE LIVE ALBUM
‘AMERICA – LIVE FROM THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL 1975’
VIA PRIMARY WAVE MUSIC, DISTRIBUTED BY SUN RECORDS,
ON SEPTEMBER 6

The iconic multi-platinum-selling group AMERICA are celebrating their 54th anniversary with a series of national tour dates in 2024. Billed as the “Ride On Tour 2024,” it launched July 18 in Minneapolis and will continue throughout the year. Known for their timeless magic and powerful performances, the Grammy Award-winning perennial classic-rock favorite will draw on their deep catalog of hits including signature song “A Horse With No Name,” a Number One smash on Billboard’s Hot 100 in 1972. Tickets are on sale now HERE.

Meanwhile, AMERICA will release a new live album, America – Live From The Hollywood Bowl 1975 (Primary Wave Music; distributed by Sun Records), on September 6. Previously available as a Record Store Day exclusive, this album features never-before-heard recordings of their iconic 1975 performance backed by a symphony conducted by the legendary George Martin and will now be widely released on CD, a new red vinyl variant, and digitally for the first time ever. This extraordinary performance has been preserved in never-before-heard tapes that were recently restored and remastered for this special release.

On their way to becoming a global household name, AMERICA‘s journey found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best-known tunes, which also include “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Don’t Cross The River,” “Tin Man,” “Lonely People,” and “Sister Golden Hair,” were cornerstones of 1970’s Top 40 and FM rock radio. Yet beyond their impressive catalog of hits, listeners would discover there was always much more to AMERICA than surface perceptions. The combination of melodic pop rock and folk-jazz elements, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with other more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics.

AMERICA‘s albums–six certified gold and/or platinum, with their first greatest hits collection, History, hitting four plus million in sales–displayed a fuller range of the trio’s talents than did their singles. Their material encompassed an ambitious artistic swath; from effects-laden rockers to oddball medleys to soul-bearing ballads, AMERICA displayed a flawless blend of disparate genres and styles as wide-open as the great American plains.

Enjoying massive success early in their career, AMERICA earned their stripes as musical soldiers on the battlefield amidst the excess, craziness, and chaos of the 70’s. The trio won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1972 and began working with George Martin and Geoff Emerick in 1974. This successful team went on to record seven albums and several Top Ten hits, including “Tin Man,” “Sister Golden Hair” and “Lonely People.”

Their growth as singers, songwriters and musicians has continued into the present day as illustrated by landmark releases such as 2000’s Highway 3-disc box set, 2002’s Holiday Harmony, an album comprised of seasonal classics and live showcases, 2007’s Here & Now, 2009’s Live In Concert: Wildwood Springs, 2011’s Back Pages, and 2015’s Lost And Found and America: Archives Vol. 1.

In 2020, the band released their ultimate 8-disc anniversary box set, Half Century (America Records), and streamed their concert special America–Live at the London Palladium for the very first time (it is commercially available as a DVD and CD). 2020 also saw the release of the book “America, the Band, An Authorized Biography” by journalist Jude Warne. She weaves original interviews with the band and many others into a dynamic cultural history of AMERICA, the band, and America, the nation. Billy Bob Thornton wrote the foreword.

As further testament to the band’s staying power and influence, AMERICA’s recordings have been licensed for a multitude of placements in films (including American Hustle, The Nice Guys, The Last Unicorn and Girl Most Likely), television shows (among them The Sopranos, Friends, Breaking Bad and Saturday Night Live) and video games (including Grand Theft Auto). From their formative years, AMERICA has been a band capable of transcending borders with its uplifting music and positive message. Embracing a rainbow of divergent cultures, America’s audiences continue to grow, comprising a loyal legion of first, second and third generation fans, all bearing testament to the group’s enduring appeal.
