Following successful runs in Latin America (Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and México) and Europe (Sweden, Italy, France, Germany, and more), multi-platinum-selling and GRAMMY® Award-winning rockers MEGADETH will return to the North America this summer for their 34-date “Destroy All Enemies” trek. The Live Nation-produced tour, with special guests Mudvayne and All That Remains, kicks off August 2 in Rogers, Arkansas before wrapping in Nashville, Tennessee on September 28. Additional tour stops include Los Angeles (two shows), Las Vegas, Boston, St. Louis and many more (the full itinerary is below). For the live shows, MEGADETH founder and frontman Dave Mustaine and his bandmates will perform classic hits from Rust In Peace, Countdown to Extinction, and more from the band’s extensive catalog, along with material from their latest studio album THE SICK, THE DYING… AND THE DEAD! featuring some of Mustaine’s strongest-ever songwriting.

With an appetite for guitar-driven, raw, amplified rock and roll, THE BLACK MOODS deliver a serving of “Sugar”—their latest track out now across all digital platforms. Stream/download it now at https://orcd.co/sugartbm. “Sugar” marks the second sampling of new music from THE BLACK MOODS’ forthcoming third studio album due later this year. The new single follows the melodic-driven debut track “Heaven” released this past March which explored a more experimental sound. The trio—vocalist/guitarist Josh Kennedy, drummer Chico Diaz, and bassist Jordan Hoffman—have also shared the thrilling, Wild West-themed music video for “SUGAR,” which can be seen streaming below or directly via the band’s YouTube HERE. Directed by Michael Levine (Skillet, Peyton Parrish), the video was filmed at Rawhide Western Town in Chandler, AZ and shares the story of a classic bank heist with a twist.

“‘Sugar’ is definitely one of the sexiest songs we’ve written,” says Kennedy. “The tempo and the groove are a sensual foundation for the melody and lyrics. Lyrically, I think it paints a picture of passion and danger. The lyric, ‘Don’t forget I’m kinda crazy, cinematic, a little magic’ lends its hand to a bit of the dramatic. I feel it sets the scene for the song.”

THE BLACK MOODS have also announced additional dates for their headlining summer tour. The band will head to Monett, MO on July 5 and play across the Midwest and East Coast until August 11 in Madison, WI. They’ve also announced a headlining weekend of shows in Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ in September with special guests to be announced. See full dates listed below. THE BLACK MOODS recently opened for ZZ TOP and Rick Springfield and have previously toured across the U.S. with acts including Shinedown, 311, Godsmack, Collective Soul, Jane’s Addiction, The Dead Daisies, and Gin Blossoms, along with appearances at rock festivals including Aftershock and KUPD’s UFEST.

THE BLACK MOODS’ acclaimed 2020 album SUNSHINE earned the band four Top 30 singles–including their first-ever Top 20 charting hit with title track, “Sunshine,” which peaked at #16 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock radio charts. By popular demand, FRANKY & THE ALL NIGHTERS have expanded their “Hot Vegas Nights” artist residency at Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Originally announced as a five-show residency, two more performances—Saturday, July 6 and Saturday, July 20—have been added to the run through October. The full list of free shows is below.

Led by singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Vegas native FRANKY PEREZ, the band packed the hotel’s showroom to capacity when they launched their artist residency on June 7, the same day they released their LIVE IN LAS VEGAS EP.

The soulful rock belter and his ace band featuring outstanding guitarist Christian Brady brought some serious heat to the Red Rock Resort stage in front of an audience including Eddie Trunk of SiriusXM, John Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review Journal, singer Donovan Leitch, and guitarist Stoney Curtis. The nearly two-hour performance was fierce and passionate, with a pumping horn section, congas, showgirls, soulful rocking songs, and Latin music reflecting PEREZ’ roots. Highlights included fiery interpretations of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Prince’s “Darling Nikki,” and Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey.”

What inspired you to form Franky & The All Nighters and call your show “Hot Vegas Nights”?

FRANKY: I was born and raised in Vegas and cut my teeth on the stages of this town. I learned how to entertain audiences from the greats that have graced those same stages before me. I’ve performed all over the world, but I am yet to find anything that compares to the perfect hot Vegas night, figuratively or literally. To answer your question, I don’t know about you but when I find something good…I want it to last ALL NIGHT!

Which songs will you perform? From which eras?

Along with some of my fan favorite originals I will be performing music from the ‘50s all the way to the current day. When I choose songs for sets, I make sure that I believe wholeheartedly in each one. It makes for an honest set and a memorable evening. I will say that I plan on keeping the energy at a high-level and the band sweating all night long.

Grammy Award-winner, 5X Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement-winner, and incendiary guitarist MICKI FREE has signed to Bungalo Records / Universal Music Group which will release his new EP DREAMCATCHER on August 23. The EP’s title track, “Dreamcatcher,” will be released digitally tomorrow, Friday, June 14, across all streaming platforms. Pre-save “Dreamcatcher” HERE. Meanwhile, MICKI has today (June 13) shared an exclusive premiere of its music video which can be seen streaming below.

“In Native American folklore a Dreamcatcher filters out the bad dreams and keeps the good ones,” explains MICKI. “To me there’s a symbol of positivity if you believe in the dreams…I always have. The EP’s name was inspired by living a dream I’ve had all my life…working with Carlos Santana and his band. The whole EP is recorded with the Santana band, like a dream come true you might say!”

MICKI shares the story of how his signing with Bungalo Records/UMG transpired:
“At my Las Vegas residency at Backstage Bar & Billiards, I was introduced to Frank Hensley, Senior Director of Label Relations at UMG, who already knew who I was and complimented me on my career and successes. Frank and I hit it off and I told him of my EP with members of Santana. After that meeting I sent him the EP and he loved it, suggesting I speak with Paul Ring, President of Bungalo Records. We all hit it off and I signed with Bungalo with Frank personally overseeing the deal. I couldn’t be happier with the team there!”

Written, produced, and arranged by MICKI (who performed all guitars, lead and background vocals, and Native American flute), Dreamcatcher was recorded between Rio Grande Studios in New Mexico with producer Ken Riley and Studio A Las Vegas with producer Myles Martin (The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott). For the studio sessions, MICKI enlisted members of his friend Carlos Santana’s band including Cindy Blackman Santana (drums), Benny Rietveld (bass) and Ray Green (vocals). The EP also includes guest appearances from bassist Rhonda Smith (Prince, Jeff Beck) and Mark “Muggie Do” Leach on Hammond organ and piano.

The EP consists of five tracks, including his recent single, “We Are One,” which was written specifically for the World Culture Festival for which he was chosen to be an official “Envoy” for. He performed the song, leading a “1,000+ Guitar Ensemble,” at the massive Olympic-scale unity celebration at The National Mall in Washington, DC in 2023.

MICKI—who’s based in Las Vegas, NV—will be performing as direct support for Gilby Clark (ex-Guns N’ Roses) on Friday, June 21 at Backstage Bar & Billiards in downtown Vegas. He will return to the venue to host his monthly residency (held every last Thursday), “An Evening With Micki Free: Songs and Stories From A Life In Music,” on June 27. MICKI recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his residency with a special show featuring his friend Bruce Kulick, who was KISS’ lead guitarist for 12 years (1984-1996) noting his connection with KISS during that time as his former band Crown Of Thorns (Interscope Records) was managed by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. ABOUT MICKI FREE:
FREE has been on the cutting-edge of the music industry from the start of his career. Having been signed to a management deal with Gene Simmons and Diana Ross that launched his career, FREE joined the legendary R&B group Shalamar where he became friends with Prince. After his departure in the early 90’s, FREE continued his solo career appearing on both the stage and in the studio with iconic artists including Carlos Santana, Janet Jackson, KISS, Little Steven Van Zandt, Aerosmith, Neil Young and Bill Wyman, just to name a few

His most recent album, TURQUOISE BLUE, was released via the Dark Idol Music label distributed by Burnside Distribution / The Orchard / Sony and features guest musicians including Gary Clark Jr., Steve Stevens, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and Cindy Blackman Santana. FREE released an alternative version of the album’s single “World On Fire (Warrior Remix)” with Blackman Santana and her fellow Santana band members Karl Perazzo and Andy Vargas.

Born mixed blood Cherokee/Comanche Native American and Irish descent, FREE has mastered the Native American flute and in addition to his guitar-driven blues rock albums has recorded five flute music albums. He has used his platform to advocate for the Native American community and created the Native Music Rocks program, which gives Native American musicians performance opportunities and also founded the first Native American record company (Native Music Rocks Records).
