Active rock heavyweights NOTHING MORE mark the release of their new album CARNAL via Better Noise Music today (June 28) by landing their second-ever #1 single on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay charts with “IF IT DOESN’T HURT.” It follows the band’s debut #1 single, 2017’s “Go To War,” which recently became RIAA Gold-Certified and received two Grammy Award nominations (“Best Rock Song” and “Best Rock Performance”).

NOTHING MORE will also perform a handful of dates as direct support to rock legends Godsmack (7/23-26, 10/17-26) and hit the stages at several top rock festivals including Rocklahoma, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock. The Active Rock mainstays have teamed up with iconic rock vocalist / singer-songwriter David Draiman of Disturbed on the latest track, “ANGEL SONG,” from their much-anticipated new album CARNAL due June 28 via Better Noise Music. Draiman has sold over 17 million records worldwide with Disturbed receiving 10 billion global audio and video streams, including five RIAA Platinum releases; received three Grammy Awards nominations; earned an iHeartRadio Music Award for “Rock Artist of The Year” in 2017; and notched several #1 Mainstream Rock singles. NOTHING MORE were recently presented with plaques for their newly RIAA Gold- Certified 2017 hit single, “Go To War,” from their groundbreaking album THE STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES. The band were given the plaques at their recent co-headlining show at Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, PA from Better Noise Music’s CFO Harris Masood (*see the above picture). “Go To War” received two Grammy Award nominations (“Best Rock Song” and “Best Rock Performance”), a nomination for Loudwire Music Awards’ “Top Hard Rock Song,” and was their first #1 single on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock charts. It has since received over 113 million streams and has logged 30 million video views.

The band will wrap up their current co-headlining tour with Wage War featuring special guests Veil of Maya and Sleep Theory tomorrow May 18 in Bloomington, IL. NOTHING MORE were announced as direct support for rock legends Godsmack in June and earlier this week announced additional support dates with Godsmack throughout October. “‘FACE IT’ illustrates a very similar narrative to the amazing story ‘Life of Pi’ by Yann Matel,” elaborates HAWKINS. “There are times in our lives when we need to let our dark passenger take control so we can ‘Face It.’  Just like when Pi becomes the tiger when survival is on the line.  It’s a pumped up, epic anthem designed to give one the courage to silence their inner angel in order to face their demons; to call on the shadow from the bitter side of truth because the reality is that we are all angels and animals.  That’s what makes us human.  We are not one or the other, but rather both simultaneously and we know this transformation can’t rely on anyone but ourselves.

3x Grammy-nominated and Gold-certified rock group NOTHING MORE have spent the past year relentlessly performing headlining shows across North America and UK/Europe and at rock’s largest festivals in support of their critically acclaimed 2022 album SPIRITS released via Better Noise Music. Combining unapologetically massive anthems, catchy hooks, and progressive music with introspective, philosophical lyrics and thought-provoking emotionalism, SPIRITS documents the tumultuous time the world experienced over the past two years and was accompanied by their self-designed meta-personality test, SPIRITS TEST (akin to tests such as Myers-Briggs, Big 5 and the Zodiac) and their debut graphic novel “SPIRITS VOL.1” (via Z2 Comics).

Today (August 11), NOTHING MORE have released their first-ever live recording with the acclaimed title track SPIRITS available now across digital platforms alongside a new music video. Lacey Strum)” and “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT LOVE MEANS (PIANO VERSION)” featuring guest vocals from rock singer/songwriter Taylor Acorn, both of which are set to be included on a new deluxe version of SPIRITS due later this via Better Noise Music. NOTHING MORE will return to stages across the U.S. this fall on the second leg of their “SPIRITS 2023” headlining tour with support from DEAD POET SOCIETY, HYRO THE HERO (rap-rocker and Better Noise Music labelmate), and POST PROFIT. The Live Nation-produced tour will kick off September 8 in Nashville, TN, and end in Charlotte, NC on September 25. NOTHING MORE are excited to share that “Best Times” guest vocalist Lacey Sturm (Flyleaf) will join them as direct support on their September 14 stop in Dallas, TX at The Factory. Hawkins and Vollelunga started the band in 2003 and were quickly joined by bassist Daniel Oliver and later by drummer Ben Anderson. The band’s blend of explosive bombast and nuanced storytelling resulted in a half dozen Top 10 singles at Mainstream Rock Radio, including the No. 1 hit “Go to War” and the Sirius XM Octane song of the decade and Active Rock chart-topper “This is the Time (Ballast).” The Stories We Tell Ourselves earned a head-turning three Grammy nominations. They’re set to follow it up with a new album in 2022, which is filled with their most philosophical and primal music to date. The first offering, “TURN IT UP LIKE,” released in March 2022, is a fitting first taste of what’s to come.
