NYC punk rock n’ roll singer-songwriter-guitarist LORNE BEHRMAN today (July 27) shines a light on the history of NYC rock with his Television-inspired song video, “I Hope The Sun Doesn’t Catch Us,” by sharing its video. This is the second single + video from his upcoming solo debut album A LITTLE MIDNIGHT due out September 16 on Spaghetty Town Records. It follows LORNE’s acclaimed 2021 four-song EP When I Hit The Floor, which prompted the esteemed Jesse Malin to note: “Real blood and guts rock and roll that bleeds with soul and redemption.” Watch the “I Hope The Sun Doesn’t Catch Us” video, directed by David J Barron and filmed in Manhattan, HERE. Also read a new Q&A below about the song that will be released digitally this Friday, July 29.

“I Hope The Sun Doesn’t Catch Us” is tough and tuneful NYC rock with a tender emotional heart that embraces the lyrical surrealism and guitar flights of pivotal band Television. The video by LORNE, who previously played in The Dimestore Haloes, L.E.S. Stitches, The Dead Tricks and most recently The Sweet Things, was premiered yesterday (July 26) by MXDWN, which noted the video: “…gives viewers an incredible sight of Behrman strumming his guitar with fantastic talent and singing about hoping that the sun doesn’t catch us, as we follow a man and woman on the streets of New York trying to get away from the sun that is blaring down on them.”

The 10-song A LITTLE MIDNIGHT is a series of New York City vignettes haunted by shadows but guided by light. The words here are literate and lacerating, recalling the street poetics of Lou Reed, Richard Hell, and Television. The songs feature stark and fluid guitar playing in the spirit of The Stooges’ James Williamson, Johnny Thunders, and Lou Reed.

“This album is about struggling to be reborn,” LORNE shares. “Wanting to run back to the arms of toxic people or the patterns of self-destruction. It’s about clawing your way to a new existence while acknowledging all the causalities, and all you’re letting go. You glimpse a new life, but you don’t feel it yet.”

The album’s raw but polished production aesthetic is courtesy of producer Matt Chiaravalle (Warren Zevon, Joe Bonamassa, Spacehog). A LITTLE MIDNIGHT was mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Joe Lambert. Wyldlife bassist Spencer Alexander designed the album artwork, and it is a subtly playful homage to the cover of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Damn the Torpedoes.

Q&A with LORNE BEHRMAN ABOUT THE SONG + VIDEO
“I HOPE THE SUN DOESN’T CATCH US”

In your bio, it says that “I Hope The Sun Doesn’t Catch Us” explores the art-punk transcendence of Marquee Moon-era Television with a hypnotic melodic arpeggio riff; an imaginative arrangement interspersed with quivers of sublime lead guitar melodies; and celestial guitar solos.”  Television is a pivotal band in music history like the Velvet Underground. Can you talk about when you first experienced the band and how they affected you…then + now?

I have always wanted to experience the musical feelings people ascribe to The Grateful Dead. That idea of music taking you on a journey and having this surrealistic and abstract artistry—and Television had that. I encountered them in my early 20s. Before that, I had heard of them, and read about them, but had no idea what they sounded like. At the time, I had fallen in love with punk, and wanted to know everything about it. I bought the CD as investigative research—I wanted to know what this strain of punk/proto-punk sounded like.

The first few notes instantly pulled me in. It was like hearing music I had wanted to experience my whole life. At the time, I was playing in bands more aligned with The New York Dolls, The Clash, and The Sex Pistols. Most of the people in my circle thought Television was pretentious and too jam-based, as Television had extended guitar solos. I kept listening—this music felt like an extension of the Velvet Underground and The Stooges. I knew one day I could merge all these influences.

Television’s music has stuck with me to this day; it never feels dated and the musicianship is so strong that it feels like decades later I am still playing along to this album and learning new things. Punk used to mean to me total freedom, and this “you can do it” optimism. For many years I became myopic and mired in cliched nihilism, but these days I love the spirit of punk and feel it can be anything, as long as it’s true to my soul.

What was your mindset when you wrote the lyrics for the song? There’s a sense of existential panic in the chorus—and at the same time a sense of open-ended freedom, too: “Heading out on a no way street/I hope the sun doesn’t catch us/I don’t know who I’m trying to beat/just hope the sun doesn’t catch us.”

Every other Friday I take a train to pick up my daughter. During that train ride, I am excited to see her, and it feels like that is the only time I have during the week to catch my breath. A lot of life changing moments and thoughts have happened on the Metro North ride from Manhattan to Westchester. Much of this album was written on these rides.

When I wrote this song, I remember looking out at the sunset reflecting on the river, and, as the train moved, it looked like long legs of sunshine stretched out on the water running. I was thinking metaphorically, like the image was me and my daughter running from the weekend ending, hence the line: I hope the sun doesn’t catch us.

It made me think of the transience and the limits of love. In my life, it has always felt like love is coming to some sort of an end; ill-fated relationships that worked well at the bar but not in real life. The feeling of being a single dad and only having your kid certain times a week. And my own limits of love. What do I mean when I say “I love you”? Is my love conditional? Is it manipulative? So, there was a panic in the inner dialogue.

That said, there was also this feeling of this being an internal discussion that will lead to some sort of greater understanding of love and what it means to me. There was optimism in there because I know in my heart I love my daughter—so that connection feels real to me, and it shows me I am capable of deep connections. Also, during this time I was realizing I wanted to marry my girlfriend. I never thought I would get married again, as I felt damaged and also scared to merge my life with someone else. So, the song has a lot of questioning in it, some of it is painful and panicked, but, overall, it’s about that feeling of trusting you’re starting a new journey of self-knowledge even if you have made mistakes or you feel confused. There’s sense of awe and discovery in this song.

There’s a lot of rich imagery in lines like “Sunset is waning/the water looks like lava/ It’s a lonely ride home/The broken piece/Running away will never fix.” What inspired these visions?

When I was younger, I read parts of Thoreau’s Walden Pond, and the way he wrote about landscapes just really moved me. I love words and images that transport, and, as a songwriter, I love mixing that with self-reflection. Those words were from a trip back on the train, and realizing I had a respite from feelings of brokenness. The minefield of my mind—it seems like we all have this—was firing all the sad and depressing realities I face day to day. The difference is I realize it’s futile to try to run away. I have to face it.

Can you talk about how you feel the video’s scenes of a couple running through the NYC streets reflect the song’s lyrics?

The video’s scenes of the couple running through the NYC streets really reflect the dual feelings of desperation and hope pent up in the song’s lyrics. Director David J Baron intuitively captured that feeling of running from reality but celebrating the moment. The couple is contrasted with my own performance footage which is more unhinged and urgent. I was so moved by his sense of editing, the stunning lighting he captured, and his narrative visual approach—this video is the song come to life. I am so grateful for his talents, patience, and his keen artistic insights.

As with the other songs on the album, “I Hope The Sun Doesn’t Catch Us” is short, making its point quickly + effectively, clocking in at 2:21. What attracts you to keeping your songs so short?

“I don’t want to waste your time. I like the idea that my songs can be little bursts of emotions and catharsis. Maybe someone is having a bad day, and they can duck out from work for a few minutes and hear one of my songs and feel better? Or before someone does something dangerously impulsive, maybe they can play one of my 2-minute or less songs and it could change their mind? I like the idea of instant relief. That’s what I strive for as songwriter.”

Sacramento-based Irish alternative rockers ONOFF deliver an assertive yet comedic take on the current power struggle between the general public and corrupt governments with their new single, “Blah Blah Blah,” taken from their upcoming album due in early 2023. Scheduled for release digitally this Friday, July 22, the band have debuted its parody-driven music video today (July 21) as seen streaming below or directly on YouTube HERE. ONOFF will celebrate the release this Friday with a headlining, all-ages show at Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville, CA where attendees will be able to hear them perform “Blah Blah Blah” live among other previous singles, and the band will give away a signed Gretsch guitar, signed drumheads and more. Tickets are available HERE.

“Music is a never-ending story, one that’s always evolving…but could it really end fascism alone?” asks ONOFF lead singer and guitarist PAULIE.Not likely, but a certain song can unify us, the people. In today’s world the news & media still serve untrue source-less garbage down our throats but through smart phones & tablets. Their power is clear. People are addicted, social media is the drug, and the world is hooked. ‘Blah Blah Blah’ is a stone-cold bitter truth, a three-minute alarm. Listen for yourself, it’s time to WAKE UP!”

Formed in the early 2000’s in Ireland, the three-piece—PAULIE, drummer/backing vocalist STEVIE 10 BEARS and bassist/backing vocalist DAVE—extensively toured across Europe before relocating to Sacramento, CA in 2013. ONOFF have built a dedicated fanbase from performing over 800 gigs including sold-out headlining shows some of the most well-known West Coast venues such as the Whisky A-Go-Go in Los Angeles and both Bottom of The Hill and The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. ONOFF’s 2017 album REBORN marked their first U.S. release and its single Don’t Look Surprised” was voted the fifth most requested song of 2017 on KRXQ 98 Rock (Sacramento). In April 2020, the band dropped the stand-alone single and music video for “Closer” featuring rapper DuPree The Bay Bully which garnered over 206k streams across all platforms.

DIMESTORE DOLLS Share Animated Music Video For New Single “Down To Mechanics”

IN ADVANCE OF DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE THIS FRIDAY, JULY 22

BAND TO PERFORM LANCASTER, PA HOMETOWN RECORD RELEASE
ON JULY 23 FOLLOWED BY SHOWS IN NYC (7/28) & BOSTON (7/29)

In advance of the July 22 release of their debut album WOOLY MAMAS, Lancaster, PA-based eclectic rock outfit DIMESTORE DOLLS have today (July 20) shared an imaginative music video for the album’s second single, “Down To Mechanics,” an infectious vocal harmony-drenched mix of rock, pop and alternative. The clip “gives viewers an animated look at the yearning for love, looking for that one true match and the inevitable heartbreak that comes with being in love with something that isn’t real or genuinely there,” shares MXDWN in their premiere yesterday of the video (July 19). It was animated by the Los Angeles animation production and motion design studio Zookeeper (NBC’s “The Good Place,” “The Wall”). Watch it streaming below or HERE.

In 2008, DIMESTORE DOLLS founding member, singer-songwriter-musician KELLY BUCHANAN was preparing to release a new solo album following a build-up of success with previous releases whose music received airplay on various TV shows on MTV, The CW and A&E and saw her on a national tour with Mike Doughty. And then tragedy struck–during an impromptu game of street hockey she was hit in the head and suffered a traumatic brain injury. It was so severe that she had to re-learn how to walk, had difficulty with speech and required her to rebuild all of her other skills such as singing and playing music.

Down to Mechanics” was one of the first songs she wrote post-brain injury. “It was in 2012, about the time I was learning to sing again and also trying my fingers on both the guitar and the piano,” recalls BUCHANAN. “I recorded it on an m-box with a bunch of vocal harmonies and a minimal acoustic guitar line. I was able to sing in head-voice first, and I didn’t have much control of my voice–so that demo was recorded as a wobbly mostly vocal piece.”

Adding to the song’s personal flair, its lyrical inspiration was drawn from the thoughts BUCHANAN had while being bed-ridden during her recovery. “When you are bed-ridden, you have plenty of time to rehash and psycho-analyze every past relationship, romantic or otherwise. There is lots of time to just think and think and think some more about victories and about regrets too. From past relationships to the existence of God to the reality of mortality, including the loss of my father, to what I would do with my life if I ever was lucky enough to go at it full throttle again. ‘Down to Mechanics’ was born of these thoughts.”

DIMESTORE DOLLS – “Down To Mechanics” Music Video

DIMESTORE DOLLS originated as an all-female lineup for a performance at a holiday party. The band expanded to include both male and female members and the album’s title, WOOLY MAMAS, was inspired by the fact they all wore holiday-themed sweaters for their first performance. The group shared its first single, “You Are The Fix,” which was co-written by the late Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and also features the band’s surviving members. Watch its music video HERE.

They will celebrate WOOLY MAMAS’ release with a hometown record release show on Saturday, July 23 followed by two additional stops throughout the month in NYC and Boston:
7/23 – Lancaster, PA – Tellus 360
7/28 – New York, NY – The Bowery Electric

Working with producer Watt for the second time, OZZY welcomed a dynamic A-list featured guests. For the first time ever, Black Sabbath co-founder, guitarist, and riff-master Tony Iommi appears on an OZZY solo album. The record also boasts guitarists Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, and longstanding righthand man and six-string beast Zakk Wylde who plays on the majority of the tracks. For the bulk of the album, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers held down drums, while the late Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters appears on three songs. Old friend and one-time OZZY band member Robert Trujillo of Metallica plays bass on most of the album’s tracks, with Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses and Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction supplying bass on a few songs.

The album’s first single “Patient Number 9” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Hard Rock Songs” chart and also tops the “Hard Rock Digital Song Sales” charts.

As singer, songwriter, pianist and performer PAMELA McNEILL gears up for the August 5 release of her album NEON LIGHTNING, the Minneapolis-based artist is in the spotlight at Ditty TV, which added her video “Heavy Lifting” this past weekend to the latest episode of the platform’s show “The Curve.” Watch the full video HERE and view the Ditty TV promo HERE.

“Heavy Lifting” is an upbeat Tom Petty-inspired rock song that takes an incisive look at a fractured romantic relationship and is highlighted by McNEILL’s soaring, resonant vocals. It will appear alongside seven other tracks on NEON LIGHTNING marking her seventh album to be released on all digital service platforms on Farm To Label Records (distributed by Sony’s, The Orchard.)

The video for “Heavy Lifting” was directed by Ric Cannon of Redline Creative Group; executive produced and assistant directed by John Richardson of Farm To Label Records, and shot in St. Louis, Missouri. McNEILL shares her story and vision for creating the video: “It’s about a woman who, because she is the one who wants to end the relationship, is basically punished by her partner and made to do all of the hard work on her own because he doesn’t want the relationship to end. We wanted to show the happy early days of the relationship and then some small conflicts that added up over time resulting in her leaving.”

“Heavy Lifting” was written by McNEILL and inspired by one of her longtime musical influences, Tom Petty. “I came up with a piano chord progression that I was really digging and I loved how the hook in the progression ‘rubbed’ against the major chords. I had the title ‘Heavy Lifting’ rolling around in my head for a few weeks and knew I wanted to see where it led. “He made you do the heavy lifting…like it was all your fault…” came to me instantly and I heard it being sung by Tom Petty in my head! And from there it just wrote itself.”

YouTuber & musician RHETT JAMES MCLAUGHLIN–one-half of the comedy duo Rhett & Link from their popular daily show “Good Mythical Morning”—has announced plans to release his first solo music project, JAMES AND THE SHAME. Born in Macon, GA and raised in North Carolina, RHETT grew up surrounded by the sounds of his father’s musical heroes such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley whose classic melodies inspired him to begin writing his own music. On his debut album, HUMAN OVERBOARD, due September 23, RHETT captures his reverence for the foundations of country music while paying ode to his youth. With impassioned and deeply personal lyrics, HUMAN OVERBOARD details RHETT’s journey away from Christianity.

JAMES AND THE SHAME’s first single “BELIEVE ME” delves into his spiritual deconstruction and the reaction he received after making the announcement publicly on his podcast with LINK, “Ear Biscuits.” With the song’s chorus–“I’m not asking you to agree, I’m just asking you to believe me, You say my heart was never true, that might say more about you.”RHETT lays his truth bare with earnest conviction. The sentiment is further embellished in the music/lyric video which shows RHETT performing alone in a room while the track’s poignant lyrics display throughout. Watch it streaming below or directly HERE. “Believe Me” is out now across all digital platforms, stream it now at: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/jamesandtheshame/believe-me.

“‘Believe Me’ sets the tone both musically and conceptually for my upcoming album,” shares RHETT. “When I went public with my story of spiritual deconstruction in 2020, I was struck with the number of assumptions made about me. This song is my answer to those folks.”

Influenced by artists including Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, and Sturgill Simpson, who’ve used conventional country music to carry messages that challenge viewpoints often associated with the genre, HUMAN OVERBOARD is a deeply personal musical exploration of RHETT’s evolving worldview.

Growing up in a devout Christian home, RHETT’s faith only deepened as he transitioned to adulthood, when he worked as a full-time missionary on college campuses in the South. Eventually, doubts about the truth of Christianity began to plague him, and after a long battle of attempting to piece together the remnants of his shattering faith, he began to embrace uncertainty and finally abandoned his traditional perspective.

“No rules, only vibes” is the motto Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and engineer CRIS HODGES lives by when it comes to creating new music. When he’s not fronting both the acclaimed Linkin Park tribute act In The End–who’ve played stadium and festival stages across the nation in addition to appearing on several late night tv shows–and the heavy rock group Pistols At Dawn or writing music for some of the biggest blockbuster hits (Top Gun: Maverick, Baywatch), HODGES is working on music for his new solo project. On the forthcoming debut solo album, BLACK HOLE MAGIC, due October 7, HODGES combines his passion for making music that helps and inspires people with his extraordinary diverse vocal range across multiple genres from EDM, rock and metal to pop, country and blues.

Today, July 14, HODGES has revealed the new single “Devil In Charge,” with an anime music video featuring synchronized footage from the popular tv series “Jujutsu Kaisen” seen streaming below or via YouTube HERE. “Devil In Charge” will be released across all digital platforms this Friday, July 15. Pre-save it HERE.

Equal parts self-starting entrepreneur and versatile songsmith, HODGES is a native Texan who moved to Los Angeles after responding to a Craigslist ad looking for a talented session vocalist for film and TV. There he developed his skill set as a topline specialist, vocal performer and composer, working behind the scenes with Paramount Pictures, Sony, Nickelodeon and Riptide Music Group, among others. Inspired by Boyz II Men, Michael Jackson, and Ace Of Base as a young child informed his pop sensibilities while his teenage discovery of alt-rock icons like Stone Temple Pilots and Jane’s Addiction introduced the mixture of heaviness and emotionalism that’s also become central to the music he makes today.

BLACK HOLE MAGIC showcases his fearless artistry and unique vision across 13 tracks of unashamed, unapologetic, spirited music. “Recent years have liberated people. There are no more rules, dogmas, or preconceived notions about genres,” HODGES says. “Let’s listen to whatever the hell we want to listen to if it makes us feel good.”

BLACK HOLE MAGIC Track Listing:
1. (my mind) is the enemy
2. Rooftop
3. Devil In Charge
4. Repeat The Cycle
5. Tear It Down (feat. TheUnder)
6. Your Rules (feat. Jack Massic)

Hard rock/metal group THE MENDENHALL EXPERIMENT (TMX) first made waves in mainstream media in 2019 as the subject of the award-winning documentary MIND OVER MATTER (Sumerian Films) directed by French filmmaker Sébastien Paquet (Korn, Wounded Warriors). The film shared founding member BRANDON MENDENHALL’s inspirational story about how–despite being born with the incurable neurological disorder Cerebral Palsy which only allows him limited movement on his left side and zero mobility with his left hand–he learned how to play guitar at 19 which helped rehabilitate his left hand without surgical intervention despite the odds stacked against him and formed TMX. Further showcasing the healing power of music, TMX bassist Nathan Stockton overcame a disability of his own–childhood deafness–through playing.

TMXBrandon Mendenhall (guitars), Mike Lira (lead guitars), Nathan Stockton (bass), Justin Luebeck (drums) and new vocalist Alyce Hayes—have announced their fittingly titled second EP, AGAINST ALL ODDS, will be released this fall via Lucent Records (UMG) and have shared the first listen with its debut single, “Pulse Of The Lost.” The track was produced by Chris Collier (Korn, Prong, KXM) and features Suicide Silence’s Chris Garza as a guest guitarist. The band premiered its music video—also directed by Paquet—yesterday via Metal Injection which can be seen streaming below or on YouTube HERE. “Pulse Of The Lost” will be available digitally on Friday, July 15.

“’Pulse Of The Lost’ to me is a musical representation of how society can repress into a state of darkness, and your personal choice to either live and die there or band together with those around you and rise out of it with a positive mindset,” states MENDENHALL.

HAYES adds, “The lyrics in ‘Pulse of the Lost’ are a rally cry for individuality. We don’t need to fit into some special ‘box’ of identity, and this song is a big middle finger to the people who try to do this to us. The addition of Chris Garza on guitar added a beautiful, disturbing presence that I didn’t even know the song needed. It really took the music to another level.”

“Chris Garza is one of my closest friends on this planet,” says MENDENHALL. “We share a mutual love for guitar, pizza and positive energy. Getting to work with him professionally on this song was nothing short of a learning experience in crafting and then pushing the boundaries of the sonic landscape.”

Garza described his experience working with TMX, sharing: “Once I heard the song it felt right. I ended up flying to Vegas and tracked guitars in-person with no sleep. When the time came, I drove to LA for the video shoot and injured my back but I loved the song so it was all worth it. Brandon and I have been close friends for many years. He has the passion and obsession for music that made me stoked to be a part of this song.”

TMX will celebrate the new track with a one-off show at The Forge in Joliet, IL on July 15 alongside Nonpoint. Tickets are available now HERE. Based out of Southern California, TMX have previously performed on stages with metal mainstays including John 5, P.O.D., Alien Ant Farm, Kill Devil Hill, Fear Factory, Prong, Flaw, Metal Allegiance, Smile Empty Soul and Cold in addition to key festival appearances at Aftershock Festival and Rocklahoma.

TMX released their self-titled debut EP in 2017 which included guest appearances from James “Munky” Shaffer (Korn) and Danny Lohner (NIN, A Perfect Circle). Its hit single “Seize The Day” received over 30k views and won “Video of the Year” at the 2015 LRT Music Video Awards the same year MENDENHALL was named “Trailblazer of the Year” at the United Cerebral Palsy Los Angeles Art of Care annual event.

Active rock group PISTOLS AT DAWN stand behind the powerful women in their lives with their new single, “Fly,” a powerful and dark love song. Taken from their upcoming debut studio album ASCENSION, due August 19 via Megaforce/MRI Entertainment, “Fly” will be released across digital platforms on Friday, July 15. Pre-save it HERE. The quintet shared an exclusive premiere of the single’s music video yesterday via Ghost Cult Magazine which shows the band performing in a dark, gritty venue while shining the light on the strong females that are underrepresented in the rock genre. Watch “Fly” streaming below or HERE.

The band commented, “We wanted to feature women as the subject of the video, not as an object. Feminine strength and girl power are themes that are very relevant at this moment and are uncharacteristic of most hard rock videos. We have a powerful love song in ‘Fly’ and our goal was to exhibit passion and feeling in a relatively unique way for our genre of music.”

PISTOLS AT DAWN deliver hard-hitting hooks, magnetic melodies and intricate instrumentation with old school arena-size ambition on ASCENSION. The album was recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System Of A Down, Johnny Cash) who praised the band’s “bright, modern, driving aggression” while lauding the album for its “angular guitars and other-wordly vocals” which “crown the super-human strength of these tracks.” The group shared the first single, “The Truth,” in June which introduced new vocalist Cris Hodges (In The End: The Premiere Linkin Park Experience). Nodding to 90’s alternatives with a personalized twist, Indie Pulse Music described it as “heavy music unafraid to push the boundaries of rock while maintaining catchy melodies and deep messages.”

Based out of Atlanta, GA, PISTOLS AT DAWNADAM JAFFE [drums], DEVIN WHITE [guitar], BILLY SULLIVAN [bass], TOMMY RICHARDSON [guitar] and CRIS HODGES [vocals]–were originally formed in 2015 but disintegrated after the tragic passing of guitarist Mike Buffa in 2018. They reformed in 2019 before releasing NOCTURNAL YOUTH in 2021 which was recorded with Jeff Tomei (Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox 20). With live music at a halt due to the global pandemic, the band engaged fans worldwide with an immersive online campaign for the EP’s singles “Cold” “Voices,” “Crown,” and “Now Is The Time” which exploded with over 2 million Spotify streams and 6 million video streams combined.

The album’s first single “Patient Number 9” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Hard Rock Songs” chart and also tops the “Hard Rock Digital Song Sales” charts. It also sits in the Top 25 on the “Hot Rock Songs,” “Hot Rock & Alternative Songs,” “Rock & Alternative Airplay,” “Mainstream Rock Airplay” charts. The song earned 2.2 million radio audience impressions, 1.4 million official U.S. streams in the June 24-30 tracking week. “Patient Number 9” features a riveting solo from legendary guitarist Jeff Beck (one of the notable guest stars on the album, additional details below).

PATIENT NUMBER 9 is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OSBOURNE’s new album and the first since his critically acclaimed, worldwide, chart-topping 2020 ORDINARY MAN release. Produced by Andrew Watt (who handled the same duties on ORDINARY MAN), the new album marks OSBOURNE’s 13th solo studio album. It’s heavy, it’s hard-hitting, it’s historic–it’s everything you’d want from an OZZY OSBOURNE record and maybe more.

About OZZY OSBOURNE:

He’s sold over 100 million records, is one of a handful of artists who has had top ten albums in last six decades, received induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® as a co-founder of Black Sabbath, won three GRAMMY® Awards, earned the Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors, set a Guinness World Record, and claimed real estate on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Birmingham Walk of Stars. He’s played for royalty (even the Queen of England) and dignitaries around the world, interacted with presidents and performed to millions of devoted fans on five continents. Earlier this year, Ozzy’s CrytoBatz NFT launched as one the biggest Celebrity NFT project ever created, it’s currently ranked in the top 100 biggest NFT projects ever and is valued at over $40 Million. That’s the stuff you already know (we hope), but what really matters is OZZY OSBOURNE is the real “Iron Man” and is still kicking ass and “going fucking crazy!” to this day.
