Trafalgar Releasing and Mercury Studios today unveil the official trailer for OZZY & BLACK SABBATH: BACK TO THE BEGINNING, as tickets go on sale for the concert film capturing the triumphant final performance from Ozzy Osbourne and the original Black Sabbath lineup. The film documents the July 5, 2025 Back To The Beginning show at Birmingham’s Villa Park marking Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell performance (in his hometown just 17 days before his untimely death) reuniting with his Black Sabbath band mates: Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward marking the iconic group’s first performance together in more than 20 years and their triumphant final show. The sold-out show commanded more than three million requests for the 44,000 available tickets. The night included sets from Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Gojira, Guns N Roses, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Metallica, Pantera, Rival Sons, Slayer, and Tool, along with All-Star segments with special guests Adam Wakeman, Andrew Watt, Billy Corgan, Chad Smith, David Draiman, David Ellefson, Jake E. Lee, KK Downing, Mike Bordin, Nuno Bettencourt, Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Ronnie Wood, Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Sleep Token II, Steven Tyler, Travis Barker, Vernon Reid, Whitfield Crane, and Yungblud.

The two-hour, thirty-minute cinematic release is highlighted by performances from some of the most influential names in rock coming together to celebrate Black Sabbath’s legacy in front of generations of fans along with personal reflections from the superstar musicians Ozzy and Black Sabbath inspired, and a behind the scenes look at the day itself including insight from show host Jason Momoa and Musical Director Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine guitarist).

ANTHRAX have today (September 18) released their long-awaited 12^th full-length studio album CURSUM PERFICIO via Megaforce Records along with a riveting video for the album’s title track. To celebrate the album’s release, the multi-GRAMMY® Award-nominated New York hard rock titans—Scott Ian (guitar), Charlie Benante (drums), Frank Bello (bass), Joey Belladonna (vocals), and Jonathan Donais (guitar)—last night joined fans at a late night in store signing at Louisville’s Guestroom Records following their September 17 performance at the city’s annual Louder than Life festival.

For the album’s title track “Cursum Perficio,” the band have debuted a new black and white video that captures the song’s tone and message. Director Don Argott (Taylor Swift docu-series) utilized his vérité-style footage with narrative elements for the clip that stars actor London May (American musician and actor who’s also known as the drummer and bassist for Glenn Danzig’s post–Misfits / pre–Danzig band Samhain). “‘Cursum Perficio’ brought out the beast in me,” says London May. “I broke my finger the very first day and had to beg them to keep shooting. That was real chain [the chain he is shackled with in the video was real metal…heavy and real…not a prop chain] and real pain. I went through hell and back for Anthrax and Don Argott—and I’d happily do it all again!”

“The video for ‘Cursum Perficio’ captures all of the themes I’m exploring in the lyric,” Scott Ian notes. “They’re epic in scope…how do you quantify your life? How do you measure oceans of time and what did you do with it? And were all the struggles worth it in the end?”

“What I love about this video is that it matches the tone of the song so well,”

Charlie Benante says. “This song has always been the dark horse of the record, this video may be as well.”

It was followed by “The Edge Of Perfection,” highlighted by clean guitar echoes and cymbals that gently shake until a blastbeat blows open the doors. Guitars buzz like a motorboat on the River Styx, making waves through the darkness. The band dove into recording CURSUM PERFICIO in earnest during 2022, working out of Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles. They carefully pieced together what would be this magnum opus, mining their history with reverence, delivering on fan expectations tenfold, and broadening the scope of their signature sound. Trafalgar Releasing announced today the global cinematic release of OZZY & BLACK SABBATH: BACK TO THE BEGINNING, produced by Mercury Studios, the world’s leading music-focused content studio. The film definitively captures the triumphant final live performance from Ozzy Osbourne and the original Black Sabbath lineup: Ozzy (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), and Bill Ward (drums).

The film will run as an event release beginning October 28 ,2026 in cinemas worldwide. The film documents a landmark moment in music history: Ozzy Osbourne’s historic final farewell performance for his fans in his Birmingham hometown – captured just 17 days before his untimely passing. The sold out Back To The Beginning show at Birmingham’s Villa Park stadium on July 5 last year not only included a solo set from Ozzy, but a reunion of Black Sabbath’s original members performing together for the first time in more than 20 years.

“Back to the Beginning came about because I asked Ozzy what would really make him happy,” says SHARON OSBOURNE, Ozzy Osbourne’s wife and manager who oversaw the legendary event. “And he said the only thing that would make him happy was if he could perform again and say goodbye to his fans. That’s all he wanted to do. He wanted to say goodbye and thank you.”

The event—which sold out in minutes—brought together generations of fans alongside some of the most influential names in rock to celebrate Black Sabbath’s legacy. The show was hosted by Jason Momoa with Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine guitarist) serving as Musical Director for Back to the Beginning. The night included sets from Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Gojira, Guns N Roses, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Metallica, Pantera, Rival Sons, Slayer, and Tool, along with All-Star segments with special guests Adam Wakeman, Andrew Watt, Billy Corgan, Chad Smith, David Draiman, David Ellefson, Jake E. Lee, KK Downing, Mike Bordin, Nuno Bettencourt, Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Ronnie Wood, Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Sleep Token II, Steven Tyler, Travis Barker, Vernon Reid, Whitfield Crane, and Yungblud.

The film has been directed for screen by Ben Wainwright-Pearce (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, George Michael: The Faith Tour), with the live concert directed by Tim van Someren, and produced by Jim Parsons, Jamie Silk, and Dan Seliger. It has been crafted specifically for cinematic presentation, designed to immerse audiences in both the scale of the stadium production and the intimacy of the final performance.

Presented in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound, the film has been engineered to deliver a fully immersive audio-visual experience, bringing audiences into the heart of the performance with unprecedented clarity and power.

Kingdom of Zombies will be open every Friday through Sunday beginning October 2, as well as Thursday, October 29, giving families, friends, and Halloween enthusiasts multiple opportunities to experience the all-new attraction throughout the season.

The Kingdom of Zombies experience will feature several signature attractions, including:

IMMERSIVE OUTDOOR MAZES

Guests can venture into two immersive outdoor mazes designed to immerse visitors in the sights, sounds, and thrills of the Halloween season. Enter if you dare: either the Zombie Escape Maze or the Racoon City Maze, both featuring multi-room mazes filled with live actors, animatronics, and professionally designed audio and lighting.

ZOMBIEBALL

An interactive Gelblaster experience that gives guests the opportunity to become part of the action and fight the undead as they take on a zombie-filled challenge.

MUSEUM OF MONSTERS

The award-winning social media attraction returns with over two dozen Hollywood-quality characters, offering plenty of photo opportunities. Visitors can come face-to-face with an assortment of monsters and creatures in a unique attraction celebrating the unforgettable characters and imagination behind the world of horror through the decades.

“With Kingdom of Zombies, we wanted to create a Halloween experience that could appeal to a much broader audience,” said designer Dirk Hagen. “Whether you’re a lifelong horror fan, looking for a fun night out with friends, or searching for something the entire family can enjoy together, Kingdom of Zombies will offer a variety of experiences all in one destination.”

A Haunt Pass, which includes access to all attractions, is available for $45 per person and can be purchased at Kingdom of Zombies. To celebrate the Grand Opening, the Haunt Pass will be offered at 50% off October 2-4, 2026.
