Singer, songwriter, and frontman FRANKY PEREZ, acclaimed for his powerhouse voice, magnetic stage presence, and genre-blending artistry, will perform his latest single “Mad World” tomorrow night (Wednesday, April 22) on ABC-TV’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” His appearance with the show’s house band, the Cletones, is in celebration of the April 17 album release of DÁMELO by FRANKY PEREZ AND THE ALL NIGHTERS via The Label Group/Virgin Music Group. It introduced audiences to FRANKY’s new chapter with an overwhelmingly positive response from both fans and critics alike.

The Las Vegas born-and-bred artist currently has an exciting Las Vegas Strip residency every Thursday night at Mandalay Bay while continuing his successful monthly residency at Red Rock Resort. It’s an immersive live experience where the heart of DÁMELO comes fully alive. Backed by THE ALL NIGHTERS—featuring guitarist Christian Brady, blistering horns, Cuban percussion, a crisp rhythm section, backup singers, and world-famous Las Vegas showgirls and dancers—FRANKY describes the 75-minute spectacle as “a sexy, genre-bending, high-energy live music experience combining deep funk, soul, rock ‘n roll, and Latin rhythms.” Watch a sizzle reel of the show HERE. Sirius XM host and personality Eddie Trunk describes the Mandalay Bay residency is a “truly great Vegas show that everyone will dig. The band is killer and Franky is a phenomenal singer and entertainer. The arrangement of the stage kind of wraps around and you’re in the show no matter where you sit. Go check it out if coming to Vegas and looking for a fun (and affordable!) live show!”

Meanwhile, this past Friday night (April 17), FRANKY and his band performed at an album release spectacular at the Carnival Midway of Circus Circus on the Strip. TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL—the acclaimed multi-act ‘80’s extravaganza which originated in 2024—returns for a full 2026 summertime tour of the US launching July 17 in Phoenix and wrapping August 16 in Aurora, IL. The colorful lineup features Thomas Dolby & The Lost Toy People, A Flock Of Seagulls, The Motels, The Producers, Animotion, The Escape Club, and Tommy Tutone. See the tour dates and artist quotes below. Tickets will go on sale nationally on Friday, April 24 (10am local time).

This will be the first time Thomas Dolby & The Lost Toy People have performed together since 1988; their last show was at the Rose Bowl supporting Depeche Mode.  This will also be the first time in over 25 years that The Producers (original lineup) will tour the US nationally coast to coast.

The 2026 tour comes on the heels of a hugely successful holiday tour of the Northeast. This year’s trek will hit 15 markets, including Phoenix, Denver, San Francisco, Anaheim, Hollywood, Las Vegas, New Town, ND, Washington, DC, Atlantic City, New York City, Louisville, St. Petersburg, Huber Heights, OH, and Aurora, IL with more dates to be announced.

The artists performing at this year’s TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL exploded in the pop culture zeitgeist in the 1980’s thanks mainly to the high rotation of their music videos on MTV. These artists have enjoyed a steady rise in popularity in recent years, with their music having a lasting impact.

“Totally Tubular Festival has clearly emerged in just two years as the market leader for all 80’s tours in North America, not to mention Totally Tubular is hands down the best 80’s party on the planet,” says Jon Pleeter, the festival’s creator. “For all of the fans of 80’s new wave music, the Tubular circus is coming to town—we’ll see you this summer.”

The TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL 2026 shows are:

DATE LOCATION VENUE

^On sale now.

Artist quotes are below. Photos HERE.

“The current 80s music revival is more than just a walk down memory lane for those of us that were actually there. Because those born after the 80s are discovering the treasure trove of fresh musical ideas that exploded onto the scene in the heyday of MTV and KROQ. And the huge influence we had on everything that came after.”
Thomas Dolby

“The Totally Tubular Festival invites the audience into a unique experience with hitmakers from the 80s. Every artist on the bill brings hit songs that spark fond memories. After the show, fans tell us stories of where they were and what they were doing when they first heard the song ‘Obsession.’ Then they introduce us to the next generation—the sons and daughters they brought to the show. The Totally Tubular Festival is a wonderful shared experience for both the audience and the artists.”
Bill Wadhams, Animotion

“The 80s gave us some great songs that stand the test of time. It’s great to play to audiences, young and old who sing the words along with us.”
Trevor Steel, The Escape Club

“I can’t tell you how many multigenerational families come to see us play on a fairly regular basis. It’s pretty encouraging when the kids of the folks you played for in the 80s are seriously into your music and sharing it with their friends. Sure it’s nostalgic for some people, but there’s nothing wrong with that because what they experienced in their youth was authentic and groundbreaking.”
The Producers

“1980’s music = Fun.  It’s all about the catchy melodies, feel-good nature of the music, fun quirky lyrics, and never taking one’s self too seriously.

Whether it was Pop, Metal, New Wave, Country, etc., 80’s music was about having fun. Just look at the 80’s fashions. 80’s music was also produced at the peak of creative analog mixing. It has a warmth, power, and freshness to it; that has since been replaced with conformity.”

Jimmy James, Tommy Tutone

Here’s praise for TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL:

“As if in a DeLorean, Totally Tubular took us back to the ’80s on Tuesday… Some of these ’80s hit songs are so woven into the fabric of our lives, fans seemed ecstatic to get the chance to hear and see these songs performed firsthand.’”
–Andrew Sherman, Dallas Observer, 7/10/24

“The Totally Tubular Festival on Friday, July 26 at the Meadow Brook Amphitheatre was a trip in the Way Back Machine, a nearly five-and-a-half hour exercise in unabashed and unapologetic nostalgia, 80s variety.”
–Gary Graff, The Oakland Press, 7/27/24

“..one glorious night of ’80’s (synth) pop ecstasy.”
–Kevin Keating, SF Bay Area Concerts, 7/1/24

“The Totally Tubular Festival really connected with its audience at The Anthem..the festival was bursting with personality.”
–Mickey McCarter, ParklifeDC, 7/18/24

“With the venue lights emulating pink and blue neon lights and vintage tunes blaring, the amphitheater transformed into a time machine, whisking us back to an era of big hair, synth-pop, and infectious energy.”
–Jessie Fuentes, Finding Connecticut, 7/22/24

BILLY MORRISON Debuts Video For New Single “Becoming” With Song’s Collaborators Sully Erna And Nuno Bettencourt

DATE: APRIL 10, 2026

FROM: MITCH SCHNEIDER / MARCEE RONDAN / ANDREA FAULK, SRO PR

BILLY MORRISON
TALKS ABOUT THE MAKING OF THE VIDEO FOR
“BECOMING,”
THE POWERHOUSE TRACK FEATURING SULLY ERNA
AND NUNO BETTENCOURT

WATCH “BECOMING” HERE

British guitarist, singer, and songwriter BILLY MORRISON says the filming of the video for “Becoming”—his new collaboration with Sully Erna (Godsmack) on lead vocals and Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) on lead guitar—was nothing less than intense and, well, extreme. Watch it HERE.

“The ‘Becoming video’ is a pure performance video that utilizes the skill and aesthetic that our director Ivo Raza brings to the table,” begins MORRISON. “Sully [Erna] and Nuno [Bettencourt] both travelled to Los Angeles and we filmed in two locations: a rain room—where we shot for hours through a sheet of water!!—and a disused warehouse in South L.A. with a backdrop of a wall of lights. I added Erik Eldenius on drums, who played on the song, and Brett Scallions on bass, a co-writer on the song, and we used ghost lenses and other distortion techniques to represent the transition through the song that Sully’s lyrics talk about.

“The shoot was hot, sweaty and very long, and every person, band and crew alike could not have been more accommodating,” he continues. “The goal was to make a kick-ass rock video and we achieved that and much more!!” Read more about the video below in a Q&A with MORRISON.

“Becoming” arrived at radio on March 27 as the first single from first from MORRISON’s upcoming album HOLLOW due out sometime in August via TLG | ZOID/Virgin Music Group. The powerhouse track was written by MORRISON, Sully Erna (Godsmack) and Brett Scallions; it features Erna on lead vocals and Grammy Award winner Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) on lead guitar. Listen to the song HERE.

According to MORRISON, “Becoming” is about “transforming out of the darkness and negativity of certain lifestyle choices and becoming a strong, positive and powerful force. For an in-depth description, you would have to ask Sully about the lyrics that he wrote.”

Two years ago, BILLY MORRISON released THE MORRISON PROJECT via TLG | ZOID/Virgin Music Group. It marked his third solo album (and first since 2015) and produced the #1 Active Rock Song (Mediabase) in America: “Crack Cocaine” featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Steve Stevens and co-written by all three artists. A deluxe edition of the album followed in 2025 and bonus track, “Gods Of Rock and Roll (Orchestral)”—another seismic collaboration with Osbourne and Stevens—landed in the Active Rock Top Ten (Mediabase).

The upcoming HOLLOW will follow the success of 2024’s THE MORRISON PROJECT format with 12 songs, half sung by Morrison and half sung by a handful of MORRISON’s friends. Guests include Dexter Holland, Marilyn Manson, Chuck D, B Real, Duff McKagan, Steve Stevens, DMC, and the above-mentioned Sully Erna and Nuno Bettencourt, among others.  “Forgive Me,” “The Tailor,” “No Suspects,” “Another Day,” “Leave No Trace,” and “Becoming” are among the song titles.

Q&A with BILLY MORRISON
About The “Becoming” Video

What was the biggest challenge in shooting the video in a rain room and warehouse in South Los Angeles?

MORRISON: The biggest challenge in the rain room was the humidity! It was 90 degrees outside, full on heatwave in L.A., and we were locked in a sealed room with pouring water for about five hours—it felt like we were filming on some humid tropical island somewhere, just without the sandy beaches! Played havoc on the hair as well!!(laughs).

What was the concept to visually bring the song to life?

MORRISON: It was Sully that came up with the out of focus concept and Ivo took that and visually illustrated the gradual ‘becoming’ clear, strong and powerful concept of the lyrics We are all in sharp focus by the end of the song.

The band footage is dynamic. Lots of ferocity and musician chemistry here!

MORRISON: We did have great chemistry on the set between us all and everyone showed up that day to work hard and bring their A game. It was a long, hot, sweaty day but I think we all had a great time and Ivo has made the end result feel like the great performance video that I wanted.”

ABOUT BILLY MORRISON:

Billy Morrison is a British guitarist, singer, and songwriter, widely known as Billy Idol’s rhythm guitar player for the past 17 years alongside lead guitarist Steve Stevens. He is also a solo recording artist in his right having released three albums including the successful and acclaimed The Morrison Project in 2024 via TLG | ZOID/Virgin Music Group. His fourth solo album, Hollow, will arrive in August 2026, also on TLG | ZOID/Virgin Music Group. Morrison is also a former member of The Cult and Circus Diablo and currently also performs with the superstar cover band known as The Royal Machines. YES Announce 24th Studio Album ‘Aurora’ Out June 12 & Launch Video For Title Track

DATE: APRIL 10, 2026

FROM: MITCH SCHNEIDER/ANDREA FAULK, SRO PR

YES
ANNOUNCE 24TH STUDIO ALBUM
‘AURORA’

LAUNCH VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK

WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

‘Aurora’ Album Artwork (Download)

YESSteve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood, and Jay Schellen—are proud to announce their 24th studio album AURORA will be released on June 12 via InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. As Howe explains: “Making this record was joyful, a chance to play, explore and give everything to the music. It’s always been about collaboration, somebody can write a song, but until everybody puts their contribution in it isn’t really a Yes song. We’re not trying to echo the past; we’re carrying the spirit of Yes forward and turning it into something new.”

The band have also launched the first single from the album, with a beautiful animated video for the title track, created by Matt Hutchings (Greg Lake, Oasis, Iron Maiden), posted here: https://youtu.be/ETEGJTM6plw

Aurora will be available as a Limited Deluxe 180g Light Green 2LP+2CD+Blu-ray Artbook & Poster, as well as a Ltd Deluxe 2CD+Blu-ray Artbook, both featuring the stunning artwork of Roger Dean and Freya Dean, as well as a bonus disc of instrumentals, and a blu-ray featuring Dolby Atmos, 5.1 Surround Sound & 24bit stereo mixes (by Curtis Schwartz). The album is also available as a Gatefold 180g 2LP + LP-booklet, Special Edition CD Digipak & as Digital Album. Pre-order now here: https://yes-band.lnk.to/Aurora

The tracklisting is as follows:

  1. Aurora 07:27
  2. Turnaround Situation 05:50
  3. Love Lies Dreaming 06:24
  4. Countermovement 13:48
  5. Ariadne 06:18
  6. All Hands on Deck 03:04
  7. Outside the Box 04:20
  8. Emotional Intelligence 03:30
  9. Jambustin’ (Bonus Track) 04:24
  10. Watching the River Roll (Bonus Track) 04:42

When YES first began sketching out ideas for what would become Aurora, the process was loose and exploratory. There was no preconceived concept at the start, just a collection of musical fragments that gradually began to find one another and take form. Among these early sketches was a piece titled “Aurora,” and it quickly became clear that the name carried certain gravity. It suggested light, emergence, and a sense of vastness, qualities that resonated deeply with the band. Jon Davison remembers how “the title immediately resonated with Steve Howe and sparked visual inspiration for artist Roger Dean, setting a conceptual tone that would guide the project.”

Work on Aurora began almost as soon as the ‘Classic Tales of Yes’ tour ended in 2024. The idea of a new album surfaced quickly and with the label’s encouragement, the band had the time to develop material organically. Rather than gathering in a single studio for months, they embraced a modern workflow; ideas were born in home studios, shaped independently, and then woven together through constant collaboration. Downes and Howe often acted as the central creative axis, with Howe, as producer, serving as the point through which all ideas eventually flowed.

Across Aurora, each track carries its own character. Some echo the classic approach, others push into new territory, but together they form a cohesive whole that honors the band’s heritage while embracing forward motion. With their 24th studio album, YES demonstrate not just longevity, but a sustained curiosity, a desire to keep exploring, refining and discovering their capacity to create.

The money raised is a great way for us to continue to support MusiCares and the music community.”

“The Ozzy” is a tribute to a legend—Ozzy’s groundbreaking work via his solo career and as a member of Black Sabbath shaped hard rock for generations. For the Split founders, both lifelong fans of Sabbath and Ozzy, his impact goes far beyond the music.

“What Ozzy stood for is deeply ingrained in what we stand for and evident in every expression of the brand – he never pretended to be anything other than who he was” says Split co-founder Ed Margulies. “He was raw and human. No borrowed playbook, no ego, he pushed boundaries.”

For Split co-founder and former musician Dara Amjadi, Ozzy’s influence is deeply personal. “These were the posters on my wall growing up,” Dara says. “The records that shaped what I wanted to do with my life. Music like that stays with you. It’s part of who you become.”

The team adds, “Ozzy stepped into the wider public eye through ‘The Osbournes’ and what he revealed went far beyond reality TV. He showed that firstly he was a great family man, and also that vulnerability isn’t a weight meant to hold people down—it’s a force that can set everyone free. By owning every flaw, every struggle, and every unfiltered moment, he gave people permission to do the same.

“That’s the spirit we want in everything we make. The watch is an expression of what Ozzy and his music represented to us. In that honesty, he forged something rare—an unspoken, unbreakable bond with people across the world. Split is for those who value authenticity over ego.”

“At MusiCares, we exist to support the people who make music possible, through every triumph and every hardship.” said Theresa Wolters, Executive Director of MusiCares. “Ozzy’s impact on music and culture is immeasurable, and just as important is how he cared for people who make music possible. We’re deeply grateful to Sharon Osbourne and Split Watches for honoring Ozzy’s legacy in such a beautiful and fitting way. Together, we ensure that music people have the help they need, to keep the music playing for all of us.”

“The Ozzy” is based on Split’s MC collection that features a revolutionary Seiko family automatic chronograph. Using the most advanced modern materials, the watch is intentionally designed to be unpolished and stripped back. “The Ozzy” features the rock legend’s iconic purple tinted glasses on the sub dials and his cross at 12 o’clock. Each piece is meticulously hand painted and Ozzy’s logo can be seen on the rotor through Split’s exhibition case back.

“We want our watches to start conversations that matter.” Dara says, “the conversations we rarely make time for.”

“Our collaboration with MusiCares started the way the best things often do, with a conversation,” the Split Team says. “One of our earliest clients, who worked in the music, spoke highly of MusiCares and introduced us. He wasn’t wrong. What we discovered wasn’t just a charity, but a much-needed support system for those in the industry. It only took a couple of conversations with Wynnie Wynn, to realize our shared values, love of music and a belief that it’s essential to create a safe space for people in the community to talk. From that point on, it became clear that we needed to do something together, something with intent and purpose. All proceeds from The Ozzy’ will support MusiCares, which provides critical health services, financial assistance, and mental health support to music professionals. MusiCares helps the humans behind the music because music gives so much to the world. The collaboration reflects a belief that objects we choose should carry meaning.”

“‘Skyman’ offers some peaceful perspective in a hectic world and invites us to coast in the clouds together for a bit!’”– Seth Avett, the Avett Brothers

SOUNDING ARROW is the indie solo project of veteran recording artist and touring musician Scott Kinnebrew (Truth and Salvage Co). Since this past September, the Asheville, NC-based artist has been steadily building anticipation for this Friday’s release of his second album SKYMAN by rolling out four visually striking videos. Today (April 8), SOUNDING ARROW has shared a new montage of the album’s first four videos—”Skyman,” “Zero Gravity,” “Lucky Shaman,” and “Why You Frontin?”—that seamlessly highlight the album’s airy sonics and Kinnebrew’s lightness-of-being musings. Watch the montage HERE.

As the SKYMAN album (via Blackbird Record Label/Indie AM Gold) illustrates, the singer, songwriter, and guitarist’s finely etched songs are a welcome musical balm that’s custom made for rocky times. It was co-produced with Kinnebrew by Gary Jules (“Mad World”) and mixed by Bill Reynolds (Band of Horses, The Avett Brothers’ Emotionalism). It weaves a vivid sonic landscape rich with the textures of rock, folk, country, blues, British invasion, R&B, and pop. It’s a brew that resists classification, as it lands somewhere between tradition and invention—what Kinnebrew thinks of as “sonic impressionism.” Read the critical praise below.

SKYMAN follows SOUNDING ARROW 2017 debut album LOVING IS BREATHING. This past September (2025), SKYMAN’s warm and radiant title track—both heady and light as a feather, a perfect tonic for these times—was unveiled as the first single/video. Watch the video for “Skyman”—directed by Doug Frerichs and filmed in Kinnebrew’s adopted hometown of Asheville, North Carolina—HERE.

“Skyman” was followed in January by the uplifting “Zero Gravity” single. The video was also directed by Doug Frerichs and filmed around various Southern California locations including the San Fernando Valley, 6th and Broadway in DTLA, Frogtown, and Calabasas. It ends with scenes of Kinnebrew up in space floating above civilization below and illuminating the song’s lyrics about escaping from an increasingly heavy world. Listen to the track HERE and watch the video HERE. Read the press release HERE

Next, in February, Kinnebrew released “Lucky Shaman.” The track’s freewheeling musical brew comprising indie, blues, psychedelia, garage rock, and even ‘60s AM pop is matched with lyrics inspired by the time that Kinnebrew lived for four months in the Ecuadorian Amazon and his experience at a plant medicine ceremony (ayahuasca) there. Watch the colorful animated video HERE.

“Why You Frontin?”—a melodically rich song that combines folky stylings, jangly guitars, and Kinnebrew’s—arrived this past March. In the video, Kinnebrew is seen performing the song on his porch in Asheville, NC, interspersed with old/original Super 8 family footage shot by his grandfather (John Davison). View the video HERE.

Here’s critical praise about SKYMAN:

“The psychedelic journey of a single [‘Zero Gravity’] is accompanied by a video directed by Doug Frerichs that depicts the otherworldly atmosphere created by the musician’s soaring vocals and spacious instrumentation. The weightlessness of the vocals, the way their melodies cascade around jangly tones…Kinnebrew’s veteran songwriting style unfurls into an immersive storytelling tune that should have everyone running to hear the rest of SKYMAN this April.” –Glide Magazine, 1/14/26

“Musically, [the track] ‘Zero Gravity’ is a shimmering, cosmic song with lush layers and Kinnebrew’s echoing vocal floating above into the heavens alongside languorous drifts of guitar.” –Americana UK, 1/30/26

“There’s a loose, joyful danger to ‘Lucky Shaman,’ the new single from Scott Kinnebrew’s solo project Sounding Arrow. It’s the sound of an artist trusting the groove, letting humor, history, and hard-earned wisdom all ride shotgun. Best known for his work with Truth & Salvage Co., Kinnebrew has long thrived in the spaces between genres. With ‘Lucky Shaman,’ he leans fully into that instinct, blending indie rock, psychedelia, garage rock, bluesy jam energy, and flashes of ’60s AM pop into a track that feels playful on the surface while carrying deeper currents underneath.” –Grateful Web, 2/11/26

“Skyman is the proper follow-up to Sounding Arrow’s 2017 debut album, Loving is Breathing. Kinnebrew is a big believer in using his privilege of being an artist in a fresh, positive sense. In a time when it’s easy to be down on everything, Kinnebrew is trying to lift you up. He has been a songwriter for three decades now. He believes in using it as a spotlight for change and growth. Skyman was co-produced along with the great Gary Jules, a fantastic, globally renowned musician who requires no introduction. Jules helped bring out the best in Kinnebrew, helping enable him to record a sonically diverse record that can’t be neatly fit into any one box. It weaves together rich textures of rock, folk, country, blues, R&B, and pop. It’s not intended to be flashy, but it is effective and efficient, resonating with listeners on a deep emotional level. Kinnebrew is a visionary songwriter, one who should be lauded for his ability to write and record music that can uplift you with the power of his voice and his spirit.” –v13, 3/10/26

“..both the music and message [of ‘Skyman’] feel intimate, layered, and expansive. The song captures his radiant sound that is bright, infectious, and brimming with shimmering harmonies.” –Glide Magazine, 9/23/25
