Excitingly, they continue to add to the production with special guests, newly announced collaborations, and a series of shows with musician/producer-icon Alan Parsons. Here are the latest updates:

●Hammond organist/keyboardist Harry Waters will wrap his run of 20 shows on May 3 in Atlantic City. Waters—the son of Pink Floyd’s co-founder, bassist, vocalist, songwriter, and lyricist Roger Waters—has performed shows with BRIT FLOYD for the last few years.

●Pink Floyd backing vocalist Machan Taylor (singer, songwriter, performer, and teacher) will join BRIT FLOYD for three upcoming shows: May 9 at Giant Arena in Hershey, PA; May 10 at Warner Theatre in Washington, DC (sold out); and May 11 at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC), Durham, NC. She’s performed 198 shows as a backing vocalist for Pink Floyd on their Momentary Lapse of Reason 22-month tour, which was subsequently recorded and released as the Delicate Sound of Thunder live album.

●A newly announced show will pair BRIT FLOYD with Get the Led Out for a co-headlining collaboration August 20 at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheatre in Bridgeport, CT. Tickets are on sale now for the show that celebrates two of the world’s most iconic rock bands, performed by two of the world’s biggest live experience shows.

Every night Wish You Were Here 50 Tour audiences are treated to the group’s award-winning laser and light show, massive circular screen, inflatables, and theatrics. The tour honors the iconic album (released in 1975) which features four of Pink Floyd’s most beloved songs—“Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Welcome to the Machine,” “Have A Cigar” and “Wish You Were Here”—and is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time. The two-and-a-half-hour-plus show features BRIT FLOYD performing the music of Wish You Were Here as well as classic tracks from Pink Floyd’s magnificent catalog of albums, including Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, The Division Bell, Meddle, and more.

The assembled band of musicians that audiences have come to love and respect worldwide over the years will take to the stage to perform note-for-note renditions of all the classic Pink Floyd tracks. The ensemble includes BRIT FLOYD’s long-time guitarist/lead vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, bassist/lead vocalist Ian Cattell, and Canadian Idol Winner vocalist Eva Avila, along with the other expert musicians who’ve joined the ranks of BRIT FLOYD over the last decade.

Having performed over 1,500 shows since their launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, BRIT FLOYD have circled the world, sold-out tours across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and the Middle East. They’ve performed concerts at some of the world’s greatest venues, including London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe-inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles; and ‘The Showplace of the Nation,’ NYC’s Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. The BRIT FLOYD show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded by many as the world’s greatest rock tribute experience.

TASH SULTANA has joined forces with City and Colour for a special collaboration: ‘Ain’t it Kinda Funny ft. City and Colour,’ the much-anticipated third single from TASH’s upcoming six-track EP RETURN TO THE ROOTS.

LISTEN TO ‘AIN’T IT KINDA FUNNY FT. CITY AND COLOUR’ HERE

Out today (April 30), the track has a rich history and it’s been years in the making. Originally written by TASH as a teenager, it’s one of the earliest songs in their catalogue—a raw acoustic piece born from a deep love for artists like Jeff Buckley, Bon Iver, and, fittingly, City and Colour.

Fast forward to now, and the track has been reimagined, reshaped, and revived—not just to suit where TASH is today as an artist, but as a person on the edge of turning 30.

“That looming milestone makes you reflect,” TASH says. “There’s this pressure that you’ve somehow ‘aged out’, but it’s all bullshit. Thirty’s young. Life’s only getting better. I wouldn’t relive my early 20s for anything—and that realization bled straight into this song.”

“Ain’t It Kinda Funny” sees both artists contribute contrasting yet complementary verses—SULTANA’s leaning into sentimentality, and City and Colour’s offering a reflective, seasoned perspective. Together their vocals balance like yin and yang, bridging generations of experience and emotional insight.

“Working with Tash was an absolute joy,” Dallas Michael John Albert Green, who is City and Colour, comments. “We first connected last year and hit it off right away. That first impression led to me visiting their studio in Australia and eventually creating this song together. Tash is one of the most impressive people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Their passion and work ethic was inspiring. I’m truly grateful to have been invited to be a part of this.”

The result is a track that honors its roots while embracing the present—a poignant and powerful evolution of a song that has travelled with SULTANA for over a decade.

True to form, the recording process also had its moments of levity. As the final touches were being added, including bass guitar, there was an unexpected interruption from TASH’s dog.

“Right as the bass kicked in my dog went into the next room and took a massive stinking hot shit on the floor the size of an AFL football. Talk about a brown note, we were bonded” SULTANA recalls.

RETURN TO THE ROOTS is a raw, unfiltered dive back into the heart of their artistry. Stripping away the pressure of commercial success, this six-track collection rekindles the spirit of spontaneous creation—the very essence that first ignited their career.

The EP was rolled out with first single “Milk & Honey”—which earned rotation on triple j, topped the AMRAP Metro Charts, received praise from Rolling Stone (Australia), and landed on key DSP playlists like Spotify’s The Local List and Apple’s Heaps Indie. ABOUT JOE LANO

Joe Lano is one of the Jazz world’s best-kept secrets. As a world class guitarist, arranger and composer, Joe has been a mainstay of the Las Vegas and West Coast music scene for 50 years. Say the name Joe Lano in this part of the world and everyone immediately renders the highest accolades as to his expertise and unique qualities as a player. He has performed with nearly every major act in show business since moving to Las Vegas in 1964 including Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, and Steve Lawrence, and has worked with a multitude of jazz greats, having performed for years at Alan Grant’s “Jazz at the Four Queens.” He was a student of guitarist and educator Dennis Sandole, who is noted for having been John Coltrane’s teacher.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Joe discovered his passion for music at a young age. He began playing the guitar when he was just 10 years old and quickly showed immense talent and dedication to his craft. He began working with bands in Philadelphia before he turned 13 years old.

In every performance, Joe showcases his abilities as both a soloist and arranger. The music is both old school and modern at the same time and features interesting arrangements of familiar and more obscure standard tunes. The group’s repertoire features not just great solos but also reharmonizations of these classic standards that are eminently listenable and swinging. One of the more enjoyable aspects of Joe’s writing that has become a band trademark is the challenging guitar/bass ensemble passages which are featured in several of the tunes. Also featured are several beautiful ballad arrangements in which Joe displays his unique interpretations of these timeless compositions.

ABOUT KEN PEPLOWSKI

Ken Peplowski is a Buffet-Crampon artist, and plays the R-13 clarinet, with a Portnoy mouthpiece and Van Doren German-cut reeds. He also plays Conn tenor sax with a Berg Larsen mouthpiece.

Ken’s new CD is called “Sunrise,” and it is a big band record of new arrangements written exclusively for him, plus some reworking of classic arrangements. His upcoming CD is a duo record with Brazilian guitarist Diego Figuereido entitled “Amizade.”

He is currently the artistic director of the Sarasota Jazz Festival, the Newport Beach Jazz Party, and the Oregon Coast Jazz Party in Newport, Oregon. Peplowski has also been bestowed this year’s “Creative Arts Prize in Recognition of Outstanding Contribution in the Field of the Creative Arts” by the Polish American Historical Association.

ABOUT SARAH HANAHAN

Rising jazz saxophonist Sarah Hanahan is dynamic force in the New York jazz scene. Sarah has performed with legends like Jeff “Tain” Watts, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and the Grammy-winning Mingus Big Band. Named one of NPR Jazz Night in America’s Youngbloods, she brings a bold, expressive style that captivates audiences. Don’t miss this chance to hear selections from her debut album, Among Giants, live in an intimate jazz club setting.

NOTHING MORE, one of rock’s most electrifying bands, continues to be an unstoppable force. The boundary-pushing 3x-Grammy-nominated outfit—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—have now landed another song, “HOUSE ON SAND” (feat. Eric Vanlerberghe from I Prevail), in the #1 spot on the Billboard “Mainstream Rock Airplay” and Mediabase “Active Rock” charts this week.

“HOUSE ON SAND” marks the third single from their critically acclaimed CARNAL album via Better Noise Music to achieve the #1 spot on the heels of “ANGEL SONG (feat. David Draiman)” and “IF IT DOESN’T HURT.”

As singer Jonny Hawkins exclaims, “In hockey, 3 goals in a game is a hat trick, so how about in rock-n-roll we call it an ass kick!?!? NOTHING MORE blend a full-on assault with soaring melodies and unique soundscapes in songs that unflinchingly embrace raw emotion. CARNAL has to date amassed 133 million streams. The album received praise for being “one of the band’s most eclectic releases to date” (Blabbermouth) and having 15 “energized rock anthems that capture the band’s infectious live prowess” (Knotfest).

The deluxe edition of CARNAL was released across all digital outlets on March 28 while pre-orders for the physical release on CD and vinyl—due out May 16—are now available HERE. Five other bonus tracks on CARNAL (DELUXE) include a live version of the “ANGEL SONG” recorded from the band’s set at Aftershock Festival 2024 where NOTHING MORE was joined onstage by guest vocalist David Draiman of Disturbed; two remixed songs from Matt Good (Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria) and Justin “JD” Deblieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White); plus a new song that was released February 7, “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE.” A new version of the bracing “FREEFALL,” featuring 6x Platinum-certified rock artist Chris Daughtry, was released March 28 on all digital outlets. The “FREEFALL” video movingly tells the story about a firefighter who is struggling with his mental health and unexpectedly finds a new life-direction after making a chance connection with a homeless dog. The video for “FREEFALL (feat. Chris Daughtry)”—filmed in Clifton, Tennessee—features the town’s fire chief and sheriff, who also served as technical advisors on the subject matter. In casting for this narrative-driven video, the band prioritized collaborating with individuals who understand the unique challenges faced by firefighters and first responders. To ensure even more authenticity, they enlisted real-life heroes as technical advisors. Additionally, director/actor Michael Lombardi was asked by the band to star in the video because of his personal experience and affiliation with firefighters. Lombardi is well-known for his role as a series regular in the acclaimed FX series “Rescue Me,” which aired for 100 episodes and received multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations and wins and delved into the lives of firefighters grappling with real-life issues, including the aftermath of 9/11 trauma and personal struggles.

NOTHING MORE partnered with K9s For Warriors for the release of “FREEFALL (feat. Chris Daughtry),” which is the nation’s leading provider of highly trained Service Dogs for Veterans with invisible wounds of war. As a part of its mission, K9s’ Station Dog program partners with law enforcement and first responder agencies to provide reliable, high quality therapy dogs that offer emotional support to officers, firefighters, dispatchers, victims, and others exposed to trauma in the line of duty. Every day in the U.S., approximately 20 Veterans take their own lives, while more than 1,000 dogs are euthanized. Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs—many of them rescues—to military Veterans suffering from PTSD or traumatic brain injury at no financial cost to the Veteran. Since 2011, K9s For Warriors has graduated more than 1,000 Warriors and rescued more than 2,000 dogs.

In connection with the song and video release, the band features pet-related merchandise on its official website, with a portion of proceeds supporting organizations like K9s For Warriors. Additionally, a donation link is included in the video, allowing for donations to be made directly to the organization’s website. NOTHING MORE has already helped raise over $14,000 of the $20,000 goal that it costs to sponsor, rescue and train a station dog!

In touring news, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT has been bringing their message to the masses with an aggressive touring plan that continues throughout 2025. The band kicked off their own headlining tour April 18 with support from The Rasmus and Archers. THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT will follow these dates on a bill with Ice Nine Kills starting April 30, as well as appearances as part of the Vans Warped Tour, and other big festivals including Louder Than Life, Rocklahoma, Welcome To Rockville, and Rock Fest. Later this year, the band will head to Europe for shows with The Rasmus.

BETTER NOISE MUSIC is proud and excited to announce the signing of the mighty SABATON. Today, April 25, the #1 Global Power Metal Band and one of Sweden’s most successful bands have unveiled the single and video “Templars” as the first release from their forthcoming 11^th studio album.

Along with the digital release of “Templars,” SABATON is offering their fans a special one-sided 12“ vinyl single which is limited to 1000 copies worldwide and set to be released on June 27. SABATON—Joakim Brodén (vocals), Pär Sundström (bass), Chris Rörland (guitar), Thobbe Englund (guitar), Hannes, Van Dahl (drums)—have always had a signature focus on writing songs about historical battles, wars, and acts of heroism that have solidified their impact with their loyal and longtime fans. SABATON have accumulated more than three billion streams across all streaming platforms and almost two billion views on YouTube.

“’Templars’ is the first song we wrote for our forthcoming album and it truly brings out the theatrical side of SABATON,” says bassist Pär Sundström. “From the moment we started working on it, we were overflowing with ideas on how to bring it to life on stage. We didn’t just want to play it—we wanted to show it!”

The video for “Templars” presents a fictionalized depiction of a possible last stand for the Knights Templar. The band members take on the roles of the last remaining Templars, sworn to protect the secrets of their order. The story unfolds as the Templars intercept a letter warning them of their impending arrest for heresy. Soon after, an enemy army arrives on their doorstep demanding their surrender on behalf of King Philip IV of France. Refusing to yield, the Templars choose to fight to the bitter end. One by one, they fall in battle until only a single warrior remains. In a final, desperate clash, he defeats the enemy commander before retreating to the keep. There, he makes the ultimate sacrifice, setting fire to the stronghold to ensure the secrets of the order are lost to history.

The video was filmed at two massive historical fortresses in Serbia (Belgrade Fortress within Kalemegdan Park and Smederevo Fortress), both of which provided a striking and authentic backdrop for the epic battle scenes. To ensure both realism and safety, the band enlisted a large group of experienced reenactors, many of whom had worked in film production before. Their expertise helped bring the fight sequences to life with remarkable accuracy. Shot over the course of two long, hot days, the production faced intense summer heat, adding to the challenges of filming, but also enhancing the raw energy of the battle scenes.

As Thobbe Englund had only just rejoined the band after his almost eight-year hiatus, his bandmates wanted to mark his return in a memorable way by making him the last Templar standing, tasked with one final, epic battle. Initially, the plan was for him to wear a helmet so that a stuntman could step in for the demanding fight scene. However, the stunt coordinator had a different idea. He decided to take on the fight alongside Thobbe himself. While the battle was carefully choreographed, moments of improvisation added to its intensity. Clad in 40 kilos of armor, the two clashed with such force that the impact rumbled like an earthquake. To make things even more challenging, the scene was filmed in the scorching summer heat, and Thobbe was battling a fever at the time. Yet, he powered through, delivering a performance that was nothing short of legendary—a fitting way to mark his triumphant return to SABATON.
