Publicist KELLY WALSH has been promoted to the position of Account Executive at the Schneider Rondan Organization (SRO PR) effective immediately, the company’s Partners, Mitch Schneider and Marcee Rondan announced today (December 5).
 
In this position, KELLY will continue to handle both national and tour campaigns for her diverse roster including Ice Nine Kills, Davey Suicide, Hilltop Hoods, Pray For Sleep and Oddities Flea Market–a travelling market curated by Discovery’s Oddities star Ryan Matthew Cohn and featuring unusual and macabre curiosities–and work alongside Schneider on The HU, Gilby Clarke, The Verve Pipe and new artist Ian Gothe.
 
WALSH began at SRO‘s Los Angeles headquarters in 2018 as National and Tour Publicist and within the past year has brought a refreshed edge to the company delivering successful media campaigns for up-and-coming acts such as Hyro The Hero, Amigo The Devil, Manda Mosher, Piper Hays and The Haunt, along with working hand-in-hand with Rondan and Schneider on Godsmack, Tash Sultana and the launch of Mike Tyson‘s Kind Music Festival.
“Kelly is sharp, knowledgeable, forward-thinking–and over the past year she has really made her mark at the company,” says Schneider. “She digs in deep to her campaigns including setting podcasts, Instagram takeovers and Google Talks sessions for her artists. WALSH‘s career in the entertainment industry has spanned almost a decade including handling publicity in-house at record labels, such as Century Media Records and Prosthetic Records, in addition to working independently and with boutique firms. She has worked national campaigns for a diverse range of artists including Marty Friedman, Arch Enemy, Animals As Leader, Skeletonwitch, Body Count and Scale The Summit, and events such as Chris Hardwick‘s Id10t Music Festival And Comic Con-ival and ALT 98.7’s Big Adventure Festival.

Alternative/industrial rock outfit THE CLAY PEOPLE have debuted the new music video for “Strange Day,” taken from their 2018 full-length release Demon Hero and Other Extraordinary Phantasmagoric Anomalies & Fables (Magnetic Eye Records). The song includes a guest appearance from bassist Chris Wyse (The Hollywood Vampires, Ace Frehley, The Cult, OWL) and former band member Walter Flakus (Stabbing Westward) on keys. Hailing from Albany, New York, THE CLAY PEOPLE‘s current lineup consists of Dan Neet (lead vocals), who formed the band in the early 90’s, Brian McGarvey (guitars), Eric Braymer (bass), Dan Dinsmore (drums), Vegas Nacy (vocals) and Jared Weed (guitars), who will perform a one-off show this coming Saturday, December 7 at Olives in Nyack, NY. THE CLAY PEOPLE released their debut full-length album Firetribe in 1994 via Re-Constriction Records, followed by their 1995 EP The Iron Icon and second album Stone-Ten Stitches in 1997 before signing to Mercury/Slipdisc Records for the release of their acclaimed self-titled release in 1998. The self-titled album included the radio charting hit single “Awake“–which was featured in films including Strangeland, Universal Soldier: The Return and Marked For Death— and saw the band tour alongside Disturbed, Stained, Clutch, Rob Zombie, Static X, Stabbing Westward and Filter.

Following this release, THE CLAY PEOPLE went on hiatus throughout the early 2000’s before briefly reuniting to release Waking The Dead in 2007 via Overit Records with a refreshed lineup. The band took a second hiatus and returned in 2018 with Demon Hero and Other Extraordinary Phantasmagoric Anomalies & Fables, an album that captures the band at a creative peak and was forged from what was at times a tenuous, cathartic and finally unifying recording process, produced by members Dan Dinsmore and Brian McGarvey while being mixed by Neil Kernon (Nile, Queensryche, Nevermore)

Coming off their recent sold-out New York City show (November 17) at Bowery Ballroom on their first-ever headlining North American tour, Mongolian rock sensation THE HU are excited to share a new song “Sugaan Essena.” It’s featured on the new EA video game “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.” The game hit stores November 15, while “Sugaan Essena” will be released as a digital single later this year. The band will continue their triumphant three-month tour through December 10th when they’ll play a second Los Angeles show at The Fonda Theatre (the first L.A. show this past October at the Teragram Ballroom was a sell-out). So far, the band has sold out 37 North American shows and performed at such festivals as Riot Fest (Chicago), Aftershock Festival (Sacramento) and Las Rageous (Las Vegas).
 
Among the band’s biggest new fans is Sir Elton John. When he recently interviewed the band on his ‘Rocket Hours’ Beats 1 radio show, Elton gave them massive praise by stating: “I’m such a fan of your album [The Gereg], and I want to congratulate you on being one of the freshest most original bands that I’ve heard in many many years.”
 

Formed in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, THE HU achieved global recognition with three powerful videos that have amassed over 45 million views to date–“Wolf Totem,” “Yuve Yuve Yu” and “The Great Chingiss Khan“–showcasing their one-of-a-kind style of ‘hunnu rock’-a combination of American heavy rock played with traditional Mongolian instrumentation such as the Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), Tovshuur (Mongolian guitar), Tumur Khuur (jaw harp) and guttural throat singing in their native language.

Their debut album THE GEREG was released on September 13 via Better Noise Music and landed on several Top Ten charts in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia, and Top 20 charts in Germany and Sweden.


THE HU have recently made their way onto the Mainstream Active Rock charts-positioned at #22 this week–with the reinvigorated release of their viral track “Yuve Yuve Yu” featuring guest vocals from Danny Case of From Ashes To New. This past week, OZZY OSBOURNE returned to the stage for the first time in nearly a year when he joined Post Malone to perform their Top Ten Billboard hit “Take What You Want” at two shows in Los Angeles. Things kicked off Thursday (11-21) night when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter joined Malone for the final 2019 show of his “Runaway Tour” at the Forum in Los Angeles. They were joined by producer and guitarist Andrew Watt. Watch a clip of the “Take What You Want” performance here.
 

 

OSBOURNE and Malone followed this with another performance Sunday (11-24) night at ABC’s “American Music Awards” at the Microsoft Theatre where they were joined by Travis Scott and Watt who appear on the track. The live television performance marked OSBOURNE‘s debut performance on the show and his first television performance in more than 10 years.

Bunnell explains their eclectic yet cohesive sound, saying, “Gerry tends to write ‘indoor songs’, we say-love songs, a lot more introspective. When OZZY OSBOURNE relaunches his “NO MORE TOURS 2” in 2020, he’ll be joined by special guest Marilyn Manson for the North American shows.

 

These dates are OZZY‘s first shows since he announced earlier this year that all his 2019 performances would be postponed allowing him to heal from an injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy® Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home and trapped his spine aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery.  
The “NO MORE TOURS 2” kicks off May 27 in Atlanta and concludes July 31 in Las Vegas. Next up, OSBOURNE will head overseas in October for the rescheduled European dates; Judas Priest will remain as support on the tour as part of their “JP/50 Heavy Metal Years” anniversary tour.
“Marilyn is killer live,” OZZY says. “He’s so fucking out there, and if I think that, then look out, we’re all fucked.
“I’ve toured with Ozzy many times and it’s always been fucking spectacular,” says Marilyn Manson. “I’m honored to do it again. This is one not to miss.”

“CHRISTMAS ROCKS! TOUR”
DUE TO A SEVERE CASE OF TINNITUS

Under doctor’s orders, iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and three-time Grammy-Award winner BRIAN SETZER has been forced to cancel his 16th annual “Christmas Rocks! Tour” by THE BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA due to a severe case of tinnitus.
The over 20-city annual and critically acclaimed holiday extravaganza by SETZER and 19-piece ORCHESTRA was his best-selling Christmas tour to date and set to start this week, running from November 15 in Minneapolis through December 21 in Los Angeles. Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase (full itinerary below).
SETZER says he deeply regrets this inconvenience to his fans and thanks them in advance for their love and support.
“It’s heartbreaking to disappoint my fans who have shared my Christmas seasons with me for over fifteen years,” says SETZER. “I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused all of the amazing people who make my tour happen and to my unbelievably loyal and devoted fans. I hate to let you down and I hope you’ll understand.”

“NO MORE TOURS 2”

2020 UK AND EUROPEAN DATES

 

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE has just announced rescheduled shows in the UK and Europe on his “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour.

 

The six-week trek–originally scheduled for January–now kicks off in OZZY’s native UK on October 23, 2020 before wrapping December 7 in Helsinki, Finland. The tour includes stops throughout the UK and sees the “Prince of Darkness” return to Birmingham for a hometown Halloween show. European dates include stops in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland. Judas Priest remain as Special Guest across all dates.

 

Says OZZY: “I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again, but you’re just going to have to be a bit more patient. I want to be 100% ready to come out and knock your fucking socks off.”
