Joe Lano himself, one of the Jazz world’s best-kept secrets, is a world-class guitarist, arranger, and composer who has been a mainstay of the Las Vegas and West Coast music scene for over 50 years. Since moving to Las Vegas in 1964, Joe has performed with nearly every major act in show business, including legends like Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, and Steve Lawrence. A student of the renowned Dennis Sandole—John Coltrane’s teacher—Joe combines technical mastery with a deep, creative musicality.

Accompanied by Jess Gopen on drums, Etsuko Mader on keys, and Jeff Davis on bass, the Quartet delivers performances that are both intuitive and swinging.

ABOUT DAVE TULL

Known for his dynamic combination of masterful jazz drumming, heartfelt songwriting, and exceptional vocals, Dave has earned acclaim worldwide. His album “Texting and Driving” soared to the top of the jazz charts and earned praise from NPR and Billboard. ABOUT MICHELLE JOHNSON

Singer-songwriter Michelle Johnson’s style – best described as Carole King meets Ella Fitzgerald – draws from jazz, pop, soft rock, musical theater, gritty blues, & soul. The Las Vegas based singer has recorded, performed, or shared stages with some of the biggest names in entertainment: Paul McCartney, Elton John, Gladys Knight, and Barbra Streisand to name a few. Her aesthetic has roots deep in the singer-songwriter tradition with traces of gospel and folk, and echoes of the vocal masters who ruled the radio waves in the days before rock & roll. That voice lights up “I’m All In,” her warm and vibrant latest single, which premiered on September 23, 2019. Once a background singer, she’s now stepping into the spotlight, so keep your eyes on her!

In Las Vegas, Michelle Johnson is known as the “First Lady of Jazz,” but her sold out shows cover a multitude of genres. After years of singing backups for many musical legends, she is currently recording her first solo album and working on a book about the music business. Michelle is also an accomplished producer of corporate events, concerts, workshops and private functions, and she is in the process of developing The Artist Development Academy of Las Vegas.

ABOUT NICOLE ZURAITIS

Nicole Zuraitis is a GRAMMY winning and 2X GRAMMY-nominated jazz singer-songwriter, pianist and arranger, New York-based bandleader and winner of the prestigious 2021 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medal. With a “heart as big as her remarkable voice,” (Jazz Police), Nicole has positioned herself as one of the top artists and “prolific songwriters” (Broadway World) to watch in jazz and beyond.

As a recording artist, Nicole has released five albums as leader, and her sixth album, How Love Begins, co-produced with eight-time GRAMMY-winner Christian McBride, won BEST JAZZ VOCAL ALBUM at the 2024 GRAMMY® awards and features all original music. Besides leading her quartet, Nicole is the premier vocalist for the Birdland Big Band and frequently headlines iconic NYC jazz clubs like Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center, Birdland, the Blue Note, the Carlyle, 54 Below and the late, great 55 Bar. She has appeared as a featured soloist with the Savannah Philharmonic, Asheville Symphony and Macon Pops and has supported iconic singers like Melanie, Morgan James, Darren Criss and Livingston Taylor on piano and vocals.

Nicole’s arrangement of Dolly Parton’s Jolene, co-written with renowned drummer and bandleader Dan Pugach, was nominated for a 2019 GRAMMY®, spring boarding her career and making her a household name in the modern-day jazz landscape. In 2020, she was named in the top 40 under 40 for 2020 in Connecticut Magazine, and her weekly live stream during the Covid-19 crisis, “Virtual Piano Lounge,” was featured in Forbes Magazine.

Nicole has collaborated with an extensive list of luminaries, including Christian McBride, David Cook, Gilad Hekselman, Veronica Swift, Benny Benack, Stephen Feifke, Cyrille Aimee, Antonio Sanchez, Dave Stryker, Omar Hakim, Rachel Z, Helen Sung, and Bernard Purdie. She is a proud educator and currently vocal faculty at NYU, SUNY Purchase and the Litchfield Jazz Camp.

An ardent activist with a decade-long track record of giving back, her album release coincided with a self-produced music festival and day of activism for SavetheSound.Org.

TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL

Following last year’s successful run, the 80’s New Wave tour TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL announces its return this summer and features artists that exploded in the pop culture zeitgeist in the 1980’s thanks mainly to the high rotation of their music videos on MTV. These artists have enjoyed a steady rise in popularity in recent years, with their music having a lasting impact. Tour creator and JPA agency founder Jon Pleeter calls the TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL “the best ‘80s party on the planet. The audiences last year fully embraced the spirit of the tour and were wildly enthusiastic. The party continues this summer.”

TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL will expand into new cities such as Anaheim, CA, Virginia Beach, VA, Bethlehem, PA, Huber Heights, OH, and Indianapolis, IN. and will keep its popular compact set times highlighting each artist’s major hits. The tour will also offer an expanded merchandise line at shows and online, including limited edition/collector’s items. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 31 at 10am local time. Here’s an array of praise for last year’s TOTALLY TUBULAR FESTIVAL:

“As if in a DeLorean, Totally Tubular took us back to the ’80s on Tuesday… Some of these ’80s hit songs are so woven into the fabric of our lives, fans seemed ecstatic to get the chance to hear and see these songs performed firsthand.’”
–Andrew Sherman, Dallas Observer, 7/10/24

“The Totally Tubular Festival on Friday, July 26 at the Meadow Brook Amphitheatre was a trip in the Way Back Machine, a nearly five-and-a-half hour exercise in unabashed and unapologetic nostalgia, 80s variety. Modern English slipped in a couple of songs from its new album, ‘1 2 3 4,’ but mostly the eight acts from the day joyfully led a crowd of 6,000 or so down an aural memory lane of enduring hits from four decades ago. And if there was any PTSD about the fashion choices of that era, it was shed as many of those at Meadow Brook brought out their garishly colorful garb and face make-up to add to the time capsule feel of the night. ‘I hope it looks and feels and sounds the same,’ Bow Wow Wow’s Annabella Lwin told the crowd.”
–Gary Graff, The Oakland Press, 7/27/24

“Totally Tubular Festival at the Santa Barbara Bowl Was a Feast Full of Fun for the Fifty-Something Set” –Leslie Dinaberg, Santa Barbara Independent, 7/3/24

“The Totally Tubular Festival at the YouTube Theatre was a blast from the past, with a lineup of ’80s acts that brought back memories of neon colors and big hair. The audience was treated to a night of pure nostalgia and fun, with standing ovations and sing-alongs.” –L. Paul Mann, Grateful Web, 7/9/24

“The Fox Theater transformed into a neon-drenched time machine this past Sunday, as the Totally Tubular Festival crashed into Oakland like a tidal wave of ’80s nostalgia. With a surprisingly early 5:30 pm kickoff, the festival crammed eight iconic acts into one glorious night of ’80’s (synth) pop ecstasy. The lineup read like a ‘Who’s Who’ of MTV’s golden era, featuring the likes of Modern English (still promising to melt with you), Men Without Hats (safety dance, anyone?), and Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey (holding out for a hero in his own right). But for us, the cherry on top of this retro sundae was none other than the mad scientist of synthpop himself, Thomas Dolby.”
–Kevin Keating, SF Bay Area Concerts, 7/1/24

“The Totally Tubular Festival really connected with its audience at The Anthem. Most of us in attendance readily recalled the halcyon days of Live Aid, and the invocation of anniversaries related to the date put us in a receptive mood for an evening of timeless music. Across the seven acts, there was a great deal of variety while everyone at least touched upon the dominant “new wave” label of the day. With Thomas Dolby, Tom Bailey, and Ivan Doroschuk alone, the festival also was bursting with personality.”
–Mickey McCarter, ParklifeDC, 7/18/24

“Every once in a while we all wish we could relive a certain moment in time, good or bad. The Totally Tubular Festival at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport was a welcome blast from the past, turning an ordinary hot summer day into an unforgettable ’80s extravaganza! With the venue lights emulating pink and blue neon lights and vintage tunes blaring, the amphitheater transformed into a time machine, whisking us back to an era of big hair, synth-pop, and infectious energy.”
–Jessie Fuentes, Finding Connecticut, 7/22/24

LORRAINE LEWIS To Return In 2025 With New Femme Fatale Lineup Plus New Music With Lou Gramm

WITH NEW LINEUP OF FEMME FATALE AS WELL AS NEW MUSIC WITH LOU GRAMM
THE BOLD ROCK SINGER AND PERFORMER ALSO
ENTERS THE ONLYFANS ARENA

With her powerful, gutsy voice, LORRAINE LEWIS cemented her place in the rock world as lead vocalist for the band FEMME FATALE with their 1988 self-titled MCA album. It produced two big rock singles and MTV videos: Waiting For The Big One and Falling In And Out of Love.” Watch LORRAINE’s sizzle reel HERE.

Coming off a nearly six-year run as the fiery lead vocalist of Vixen, whom she was invited to join in 2019, the singer, songwriter, and sexy no-holds-barred performer is now doubling down on her legacy with a new FEMME FATALE lineup. “Femme Fatale is what most people know me for,” says LORRAINE. “I like being the only girl in the room, and I’m determined to keep my rock legacy alive. I’ve been working with a renowned songwriter/producer for a Femme Fatale release.  I’m lining up my band and hoping to have something out this year. We have a plan and are looking for the right fit with a label. I want to be around people who ‘get me’ and I’ll never stop doing what I love. Rock and Roll never dies.”

Notably, LORRAINE has also been recording with Lou Gramm, the original Foreigner lead singer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. They have recorded an interpretation of David Bowie’s “Heroes” for release this June (exact date TBA). “While the classic song has been covered by many others, it has never been recorded as a duet with a male and female voice,” says LORRAINE. “When Lou sings the line, ‘I will be king and you will be queen’, I melt.”

“Lou is vocally brilliant,” she adds. “There were moments I could hardly believe I was in the studio with him. The voice I have loved since I sang in bar bands in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I mean, ‘Hot Blooded,’ ‘Cold As Ice,’ and ‘Midnight Blue.’ His voice and chops are like no one I’ve ever worked with.”

In addition to her musical projects, “I’m excited to have jumped into the OnlyFans arena!” says LORRAINE. “I’ve always been unpredictable, and I know guys and girls have had my photo or poster on their wall since my hot videos back in the day. It’s time to go for it, have some fun and show off my wild side! I mean one of my singles is called ‘Waiting For The Big One.’ It just makes sense. I recently saw a clip of Cher saying she wished she would have been ‘badder’ which made me think, ‘Hell yes, I’m joining OnlyFans.’ I’ve wanted to for the longest time. Have you ever wondered what it’s like for me to be your girlfriend? Well here’s your chance. I’m following in the footsteps of Cardi B., Carmen Electra, Drea De Matteo, and more!” Connect with LORRAINE here: https://onlyfans.com/lorrainelewisrocks

“So many people put down social media,” she adds,” but I love it. It’s a way to connect with my tribe on a more personal level. I love being belly to belly with the fans & friends of mine.”

LORRAINE explains how her presence on social media led to working with Gramm. “I do a live ‘Q and A’ every Sunday at 5pm Pacific (8pm Eastern) where I let my tribe ask me anything. A question I get often is: ‘Who would you want to record with?’ My answer is always the same: #1 Lou Gramm, #2 Paul Rodgers, and #3 David Lee Roth.

One Monday back in April,” she recalls, “I got a message from his team on Instagram asking what songs I would want to do with Lou! I was stunned. Is this for real? They asked for my phone number and could I take a call with Lou on a Friday at 1:30pm Pacific. Of course I said yes, not really sure this was legit. But Friday at 1:30pm Pacific, I got a call and it was Mr. Gramm himself!! He told me to call him Lou.

“We started emailing and talking once a week to decide on songs we wanted to record together. It took several months, but we decided on some songs, recorded our vocals in May on our first track.”

LORRAINE is all lit up for 2025 and beyond. “I’m an entertainer. Before Femme Fatale, I was always a singer and performer who wanted to push beyond the limits,” she says. “That will never change, and I’m more fearless than ever. I’ve recently done stand up and I’m open to having a podcast. I’m still creating reality TV, have plans to produce a docu series, and want to do a remake of a movie. I’m an open book but still have secrets for my exciting future. I’m here to have fun, and live life to the fullest!! Let’s F-ing GO!!”

“It feels like it’s about time for a song to salute the blue collar ‘everyday’ working man!” CHAPEL HART’s Danica Hart says. “And this is it! He may not be rich or have the physique your family and friends thinks he should have, but he loves, respects, honors, and protects you and that makes him…‘PERFECT FOR ME!’”

“As soon as they listen to it, every one of my male friends fall in love with this song,” the group’s Trea Swindle adds. “It’s like they immediately picture themselves as that unexpectedly perfect guy, and the crazy thing is, for someone, somewhere, they really are.”

The new single follows a busy 2024 for the group (sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and cousin Trea Swindle). They not only toured the U.S., UK and Japan, but also wrote, recorded, and released their first Christmas album, HARTFELT FAMILY CHRISTMAS (the NEW YORK TIMES described their performances on it as “both pristine and playful…”) and launched a holiday tour in support of its release. Most recently, these Opry NextStage Artists performed at a birthday celebration for Dolly Parton, the Queen of Country’s 79th birthday (January 18) on the Opry stage. The group was recently featured in US WEEKLY after they finally got to meet the legendary Parton following the 2021 release of “You Can Have Him Jolene,” a song inspired by Dolly’s iconic 1970’s ‘Jolene.’”

Next up, CHAPEL HART has just confirmed a partnership with the Academy of Country Music for their ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge concert series (February 17-21) on Princess Cruises for a Western Caribbean/Mexico trek. Later this spring, the trio will appear at the acclaimed New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. It will be followed by a May visit to Korea, performing for U.S. troops following rave reviews from servicemen and women for their recent military shows; this is part of CHAPEL HART’s ongoing commitment to giving back. In addition, the group is preparing for a new album release later this year.

About CHAPEL HART:

CHAPEL HART, consisting of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart, along with their cousin Trea Swindle, are celebrated for their performance of their Dolly Parton-inspired “You Can Have Him, Jolene” during their first appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2022 which earned them a group Golden Buzzer and catapulted them to stardom. In quick succession, the Mississippi natives shot to No. 1 on iTunes, heard from Parton herself, and received an invitation to make their Grand Ole Opry debut. Since then, they’ve gone on a world tour and reached fans around the globe earning them the title of “International Group of the Year” as well as “International Song of the Year” for the single “You Can Have Him Jolene” in Scotland. They were also nominated in multiple categories by the British CMA’s including “Group of the Year” and “Album of the Year” for their sophomore album release “The Girls Are Back In Town.”

Electronic metal group SOLENCE’s main goal is to bring the “fun” back to rock & roll by lifting audiences up with their high-energy performances and relatable lyrics. “Most of us in life struggle with insecurity, past trauma, or things we’re in now when we feel stuck, depressed, and down. Many bands describe those feelings, but we want to help people get out of them to make them feel stronger,” shares frontman Markus Videsäter. SOLENCE are now ready to help combat the world’s ‘most depressing day of the year’ aka Blue Monday (January 20) with the upcoming release of their new EP, BLUE MONDAY on January 17 via Better Noise Music. It features three of their new tracks: “F**k The Bad Vibes,” “A Banger A Day Keeps The Doctor Away,” and “Who You Gonna Call? (Solence),” which Houston Chronicle highlighted in their “Top 50 Best Underground Music Videos of 2024” list. It also includes two remixed versions of their hit track, “Good F**king Music” by Swedish-based producer MVRE and LA-based producer kodeblooded (Asking Alexandria, Charlotte Sands). “We wanted to do something fun instead of feeling blue this holiday, so we asked MVRE and Kodeblooded to take care of it,” says the band collectively. “It’s so fun to hear ‘Good F**king Music’ in a new light, and the guys crushed it!”

Based out of Los Angeles and originally hailing from Sweden, SOLENCE’s lineup consists of Videsäter alongside guitarist David Strääf, keyboardist Johan Swärd, and drummer David “Viking” Vikingsson. The band have built a dedicated global audience on past tours opening for bands including Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Electric Callboy, We Came As Romans, and The HU, in addition to festival appearances across Europe (Rock For People Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, Resurrection Fest, Tuska Festival, Nova Rock Festival) and the U.S. (Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Blue Ridge Rock Fest). They will bring their rowdy and interactive stage show to audiences across the U.S. this Spring as support for The Amity Affliction alongside Hail The Sun and Many Eyes from February 28 to March 26.
