[Los Angeles, CA – August 8, 2025] — Alt rock favorites Yellowcard is releasing their fourth single today, “Bedroom Posters” off of their highly anticipated album Better Days while their lead single and title track “Better Days” continues to top the charts reaching number 4 in Alt rock this week. Better Days is the band’s first full feature length album in almost a decade and will be available on October 10^th. This highly anticipated album is produced as well as executive produced by Travis Barker with Barker playing drums on every song. Currently “Better Days” and “honestly I” and “Take What you Want” have accumulated over 6.4 million global streams since the release.

The single “Bedroom Posters” is for anyone who holds memories to their hometown near and dear. Lead vocalist Ryan Key says “ Have you ever come back to visit your hometown and felt crushed by all the memories that led up to the day you left? Have you ever felt like settling down somewhere meant giving up your dream? If so “Bedroom Posters” is for you.

This new album brings forth the best of the guys with a renewed passion for the music they make. The band agreed that making a new album was pointless unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and for the first time gave themselves permission to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his long time friend Nick Long into the writing sessions and it was through Long that Barker became part of the project, coming on board to play drums and produce the whole album.

“I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side

changed,” says front man Ryan Key who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative studio breakthroughs. “I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again.”

Once ubiquitous on MTV and the Billboard Hot 100, the Vans Warped Tour veterans, whose first two albums produced double-platinum and gold title tracks, sound fully recharged and revitalized in 2025 with a co headlining tour, The Maxium Fun Tour with A Day to Remember which begins September 5^th through November 22^nd with stops on both the Warped Tour and When We Were Young Festival. Based out of Los Angeles and originally hailing from Sweden, electronic metal group SOLENCE (@solenceofficial) mince no words on their volcanic new single “Wish You The Worst.” Out today (August 15) via Better Noise Music, the song is an unapologetic and empowering anthem to be played and sung out loud when “people in your life cut you deep,” says frontman Markus Videsäter. “Some people just want to destroy everything around them…this song is for them.” Sonically, SOLENCE deploy big pop hooks and electro savvy with the heavy yet melodic intensity of trailblazing Swedish metal into a distinctive international sound equal parts hypnotic and uplifting.

SOLENCE’s lineup consists of frontman Markus Videsäter alongside guitarist David Strääf, keyboardist Johan Swärd, and drummer David “Viking” Vikingsson. They focus all its energy on uplifting anyone in a dark state of mind to a brighter place. “SOLENCE is all about having a good time,” Videsäter says. “Our message to our existing fans and potential new ones is that we want to bring the fun back into rock n’ roll.”

ANGELS CALLING is the follow-up to their EP BLUE MONDAY (Better Noise Music), released this past January with three new songs: “F**k The Bad Vibes,” “A Banger A Day Keeps The Doctor Away,” and “Who You Gonna Call? (Solence),” which Houston Chronicle highlighted in their “Top 50 Best Underground Music Videos of 2024” list. It also includes two remixed versions of their hit track “Good F**king Music” by Swedish-based producer MVRE and L.A.-based producer kodeblooded (Asking Alexandria, Charlotte Sands). SOLENCE returns on ANGELS CALLING with fresh visuals, a new look, and a retrofitted sound that combines the best of their past with a look into the future for both the group and the genre. “For some reason, I’ve always felt like my time on earth is limited, as if I might die young,” Videsäter explains. “Our music is about making the most of life, relationships, and passion before heaven calls us home.”

Today (August 14) MEGADETH’s DAVE MUSTAINE revealed in a social post directly shared with his worldwide fanbase and Cyber Army that his forthcoming album (due out early next year) will be the final MEGADETH studio album of his career. MUSTAINE shared the announcement via his alter ego Vic Rattlehead. MUSTAINE also revealed that the multi-platinum superstar band will embark on a global farewell tour kicking off in 2026. Also set for next year is a new memoir from MUSTAINE, details of which will be revealed in the coming months.

“There’s so many musicians that have come to the end of their career, whether accidental or intentional,” DAVE MUSTAINE says. “Most of them don’t get to go out on their own terms on top, and that’s where I’m at in my life right now. I have traveled the world and have made millions upon millions of fans and the hardest part of all of this is saying goodbye to them.

DAVE adds, “We can’t wait for you to hear this album and see us on tour. If there was ever a perfect time for us to put out a new album, it’s now. If there was ever a perfect time to tour the world, it’s now. This is also a perfect time for us to tell you that it’s our last studio album. We’ve made a lot of friends over the years and I hope to see all of you on our global farewell tour. Don’t be mad, don’t be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years. We have done something together that’s truly wonderful and will probably never happen again. Meanwhile, BRIT FLOYD welcome Pink Floyd backing vocalist Machan Taylor (singer, songwriter, performer, and teacher) back to the tour. Taylor, who performed three shows with BRIT FLOYD earlier this year, will rejoin the tour for five shows August 19-24. She performed 198 shows as a backing vocalist for Pink Floyd on their Momentary Lapse of Reason 22-month tour, which was subsequently recorded and released as the Delicate Sound of Thunder live album.

The tour honors the iconic album (released in 1975) which features four of Pink Floyd’s most beloved songs—“Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Welcome to the Machine,” “Have A Cigar” and “Wish You Were Here”—and is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time. The two-and-a-half-hour-plus show features BRIT FLOYD performing the music of Wish You Were Here as well as classic tracks from Pink Floyd’s magnificent catalog of albums, including Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, The Division Bell, Meddle, and more.

The assembled band of musicians that audiences have come to love and respect worldwide over the years will take to the stage to perform note-for-note renditions of all the classic Pink Floyd tracks. The ensemble includes BRIT FLOYD’s long-time guitarist/lead vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, bassist/lead vocalist Ian Cattell, and Canadian Idol Winner vocalist Eva Avila, along with the other expert musicians who’ve joined the ranks of BRIT FLOYD over the last decade.

Having performed over 1,500 shows since their launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, BRIT FLOYD have circled the world, sold-out tours across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and the Middle East. They’ve performed concerts at some of the world’s greatest venues, including London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe-inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles; and ‘The Showplace of the Nation,’ NYC’s Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. “’Hangman’ is a gritty, hard-hitting rock anthem about defiance in the face of judgment,” says CORY MARKS. “Doing it your way knowing you’ll have the ‘gate keepers’ turning their heads, because it isn’t their seed planted or their own plan. X’s For Eyes is the first full-length album from THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS—vocalist Ronnie Winter, his multi-instrumentalist brother Randy Winter, guitarist Josh Burke, bassist Joey Westwood, drummer John Espy, keyboardist Nadeem Salam, and newest member K Enagonio on vocals—as part of a new partnership with Better Noise Music.

To write the title track, Winter reteamed with producer and songwriter Matt Squire (Panic! at the Disco, Metallica, Good Charlotte), who first worked with the band on “Slipping Through (No Kings)” that came out June 27. The urgent and impassioned rallying cry—written by Winter and Squire—compellingly looks at the societal chaos gripping America right now. “What’s really exciting is that we basically rebuilt the same team for X’s for Eyes that we had when we made DON’T YOU FAKE IT,” says Winter. “A lot of the people who were behind the scenes back then–working on things like mixing, track sequencing, and artwork–have come back together, nearly 20 years later, to be part of this new album. It feels like a reunion in the best possible way, and if you were a fan of DON’T YOU FAKE IT we think you’re going to really love this album.”

“ X’s for Eyes truly has something for everyone,” he adds, “including what came to be known as ‘The Lost Songs,’ songs from our original 2004 pre-signing demo that didn’t make it onto DON’T YOU FAKE IT. Fans have been asking for these for over 20 years and with the new album, they’re being commercially released for the first time ever. It felt like we were digging up something long buried, like raising a zombie from the dead.”

The video for “Slipping Through (No Kings),” directed by Steve Tramposch and Jamie Lewis, first introduced the concept of “X’s For Eyes.” In the clip, there is destruction everywhere in a world devoid of color. The main characters—“X boy” and “X girl”—watch as their friends and loved ones are snatched off the streets by masked men in menacing dark cars. The characters have X’s for eyes symbolizing their disillusionment, while others also have X’s for mouths, symbolizing that they’ve been quieted and have lost their voice. “X boy” and “X girl” are left to navigate the rubble and fend for themselves. An Alliance flag, the symbol of their rebellion (and the band’s fan community) is planted in the rubble at the end and the video turns from black and white to full color. The eyes of “X boy” and “X girl” return to full circles to emphasize their awakening and solidarity. These are the youth of the world planting their flag with open eyes after there’s nothing left.

“Slipping Through (No Kings)” marked the third new music offering from THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS since their EMERGENCY EP in 2020. They previously released “Home Improvement” (which has logged over 363k YouTube views) at the time of last October’s announcement of their signing to premiere independent music label Better Noise Music.

NOTHING MORE (@nothingmoremusic), the boundary-pushing 3x-Grammy-nominated outfit, continues to build an impressive head of steam, landing four #1 singles from a single album. With this chart distinction, the band joins a special group of artists including Metallica, Linkin Park, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, and Falling In Reverse who’ve achieved the same honor.

With “FREEFALL” (feat. Chris Daughtry),” NOTHING MORE—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—have returned this week to the #1 spot on the Billboard “Mainstream Rock Airplay” and Mediabase “Active Rock” charts.

“FREEFALL” is the fourth single from their critically acclaimed CARNAL album via Better Noise Music to vault into the #1 position following “HOUSE ON SAND” (feat. NOTHING MORE blend a full-on assault with soaring melodies and unique soundscapes in songs that unflinchingly embrace raw emotion. CARNAL has to date amassed 133 million streams. The album received praise for being “one of the band’s most eclectic releases to date” (Blabbermouth) and having 15 “energized rock anthems that capture the band’s infectious live prowess” (Knotfest).

The deluxe edition of CARNAL was released across all digital outlets on March 28 and is also available on CD and vinyl. Five other bonus tracks on CARNAL (DELUXE) include a live version of the “ANGEL SONG” recorded from the band’s set at Aftershock Festival 2024 where NOTHING MORE was joined onstage by guest vocalist David Draiman of Disturbed; two remixed songs from Matt Good (Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria) and Justin “JD” Deblieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White); plus a new song that was released February 7, “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE.” A new version of the bracing “FREEFALL,” featuring 6x Platinum-certified rock artist Chris Daughtry, was released March 28 on all digital outlets. The “FREEFALL” video movingly tells the story about a firefighter who is struggling with his mental health and unexpectedly finds a new life-direction after making a chance connection with a homeless dog. The video for “FREEFALL (feat. Chris Daughtry)”—filmed in Clifton, Tennessee—features the town’s fire chief and sheriff, who also served as technical advisors on the subject matter. In casting for this narrative-driven video, the band prioritized collaborating with individuals who understand the unique challenges faced by firefighters and first responders. To ensure even more authenticity, they enlisted real-life heroes as technical advisors. Additionally, director/actor Michael Lombardi was asked by the band to star in the video because of his personal experience and affiliation with firefighters. Lombardi is well-known for his role as a series regular in the acclaimed FX series “Rescue Me,” which aired for 100 episodes and received multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations and wins and delved into the lives of firefighters grappling with real-life issues, including the aftermath of 9/11 trauma and personal struggles.

NOTHING MORE partnered with K9s For Warriors for the release of “FREEFALL (feat. Chris Daughtry),” which is the nation’s leading provider of highly trained Service Dogs for Veterans with invisible wounds of war. As a part of its mission, K9s’ Station Dog program partners with law enforcement and first responder agencies to provide reliable, high quality therapy dogs that offer emotional support to officers, firefighters, dispatchers, victims, and others exposed to trauma in the line of duty. Every day in the U.S., approximately 20 Veterans take their own lives, while more than 1,000 dogs are euthanized. Determined to end Veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs—many of them rescues—to military Veterans suffering from PTSD or traumatic brain injury at no financial cost to the Veteran. Since 2011, K9s For Warriors has graduated more than 1,000 Warriors and rescued more than 2,000 dogs.

In connection with the song and video release, the band features pet-related merchandise on its official website, with a portion of proceeds supporting organizations like K9s For Warriors. Additionally, a donation link is included in the video, allowing for donations to be made directly to the organization’s website. NOTHING MORE has raised the goal of $20,000 which is what it costs to sponsor, rescue and train a station dog.

NOTHING MORE will be heading to Europe later this year for a headlining tour with support by Catch Your Breath, Solence, and Ankor that starts November 7 in Tampere, Finland. Early next year, the band will launch another round of headlining shows throughout U.S. and Canada, with support by Catch Your Breath, Archers, and Doobie, starting January 14, 2026 in Silver Spring, MD.
