For those who like dark and intense music with a distinctive point of view, IN THIS MOMENT have always supplied the goods, and their new single “Heretic (feat. Kim Dracula)” is as uncompromising as ever. It combines haunting modern soundscapes, ferocious vocals, and a doomsday metal assault, with unflinching lyrics like “I am not your pain or your remedy/I am not your faith or your vanity/I don’t want your gold or your filth/That you give and you take.”

Heretic (feat. Kim Dracula)” marks the first new music to be released from the GRAMMY® Award-nominated Los Angeles band’s upcoming as-yet-untitled ninth album and debut for Better Noise Music (exact release date TBA). Listen to the song HERE and watch the video HERE.

“We are so excited to unveil our new song ‘Heretic,’ featuring the incomparable Kim Dracula,” says IN THIS MOMENT in a combined statement. “From the first time we heard that incredible voice, we knew we wanted to collaborate. We cannot wait for the world to hear what happens when we join forces on a song like ‘Heretic.’”

The release of “Heretic (feat. Kim Dracula)” coincides with their “Hell Hath No Fury” tour with Wargasm and Kat Von D and The Pretty Wild launching today (July 16) in Green Bay, WI and lasting through August 16 in Atlantic City, NJ. Along the tour route, IN THIS MOMENT will make appearances at the Inkcarceration Festival in Mansfield, OH on July 20.

Later this year, the 23-city Black Mass Tour featuring special guests Dayseeker on select dates, The Funeral Portrait, and DED commences on September 18 in Johnstown, PA, making stops across the U.S. in Dallas and Atlanta as well as a hometown show, before wrapping in Bethlehem, PA on October 24. Tickets for all the shows can be purchased on the band’s official website HERE.

Since coming to life in 2005, the GRAMMY® Award-nominated act IN THIS MOMENT have presided over a diehard fan base under the watch of “mother” figure and frontwoman Maria Brink—joined by co-founder and lead guitarist Chris Howorth, bassist Travis Johnson, guitarist Randy Weitzel, and drummer Kent Diimmel. As millions convened upon the group’s otherworldly and unforgettable concerts, they quietly emerged as one of the most influential and impactful bands of the 21st century.

To date, in addition to the Gold-selling album, BLOOD [2012], the quintet have garnered six Gold and Platinum singles, followed by a trifecta of Top 25 entries on the Billboard 200 with BLACK WIDOW [2014] and RITUAL [2017]. They’ve amassed a total stream tally well past 2 billion.

Between selling out headline tours coast-to-coast, the group performed in arenas everywhere alongside Disturbed and appeared at countless festivals from Lollapalooza to Sonic Temple. Along the way, they assembled their seventh full-length, the aptly titled MOTHER [2020] with longtime trusted collaborator Kevin Churko [Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch]. Whereas RITUAL hinted at a bluesy sonic sorcery, MOTHER breathes the activating mantra of an unbreakable spell, commenced on first single “The In-Between,” which received a GRAMMY® nomination in 2020 for “Best Metal Performance.”

In 2022, the band released BLOOD 1983 [BMG], a reimagined EP commemorating the ten-year anniversary of BLOOD. Then in 2023, the longtime staples of heavy music released their eighth studio album GODMODE [BMG], a 10-song record featuring the powerful lead single “The Purge,” the band’s stunning cover of Björk’s “Army Of Me,” the collaborative track “Damaged” which features Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, and “I Would Die For You,” which appears on the soundtrack for John Wick: Chapter 4.

ROCK AND ROLL GALLERY Debuts Exclusive Interview With Legendary Photographer James Fortune

DATE: JULY 15, 2024

FROM: MITCH SCHNEIDER/SRO PR

ROCK AND ROLL GALLERY
DEBUTS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH
LEGENDARY PHOTOGRAPHER JAMES FORTUNE
ON ITS “SHOT TALK” CHANNEL
VIEW IT HERE

ROCK AND ROLL GALLERY—a one-stop online photographic wonderland for classic rock lovers, offering a treasure trove of iconic images and limited-edition prints—continues its 25th anniversary celebration this year. Following an exclusive interview on its “Shot Talk” channel with legendary photographer Neal Preston, Rock and Roll Gallery just debuted iconic photographer James Fortune’s first-ever in-depth on-camera interview featuring never-before-seen photographs of some of rock and roll’s biggest legends. View the interview HERE and read select quotes from Fortune below.

The interview was captured earlier this year by Rock and Roll Gallery owner Chris Vranian at Fortune’s Virginia home. Fortune reflects on his extraordinary career and the unforgettable moments he captured. Rock and Roll Gallery will be offering 25% off all of Fortune’s prints through Labor Day. View his work HERE.

Fortune is a photojournalist best known for his work documenting anti-war protests on the Sunset Strip to music and culture of the 1960’s and ’70s. (He had to pause his music photography from ’68-‘69 because he volunteered to serve in Vietnam and was a photographer for the U.S. Navy.) Beginning in college in the late ’60s, Fortune spent more than a decade capturing candid and behind-the-scenes images of rock and roll icons including The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison, Elton John, and many others.  James’ work can be seen on album covers such as Led Zeppelin’s “How The West Was Won” and in books as recent as “The Doors, Night Divides The Day” by Genesis Publications. Fortune’s work is highlighted by the famous Robert Plant “Dove Shot” that became one of the most iconic posters in the 70’s. Many of his images appearing on posters that adorned the walls of American teenagers throughout the 1970’s and early ’80s, helping to define the visual language of a generation.

Here are a few highlights from Fortune’s interview on “Shot Talk”:

Image of James Fortune from his “Shot Talk” interview (2025)

LA Riots 1966:

“I called UPI and they said we already have photographers with film, I said they don’t have what I have!”

Led Zeppelin Hyatt House Hotel Sunset Strip 1973:

“Peter Grant picked up Jimmy Page and said where do you want him, I said I want the group in that chair!”

The Who “Tommy” premier party Hollywood 1975:

“He was a heavy partier; I loved to be around him because things just happened when Keith Moon was in front of your camera!”

Chris Vranian says that interviewing Fortune was “a truly long overdue labor of love. He is very private and a bit reclusive but he trusted me and knows that I always have good outcomes for him. We have done a lot over the years with licensing his images and the cover of Led Zeppelin’s ‘How The West Was Won’ album cover which he talked about in the interview. James was open, honest, and told it like he saw it—and he saw it!”

About Rock and Roll Gallery:

Rock and Roll Gallery is an online platform dedicated to celebrating the history of rock through photography. Curated by Chris Vranian, the gallery offers a wide selection of limited-edition prints, each capturing moments that define the sound and spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. With the tagline “What Music Looked Like,” Rock and Roll Gallery brings together the best in music and photography, providing a visual celebration of rock’s history. Vranian calls it a place where “the History Channel meets the Biography Channel at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”

PROUDLY ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF
HECTOR DELGADO

IS BEST KNOWN AS A LONGTIME A$AP ROCKY COLLABORATOR
AND A DEFINING ARCHITECT OF THE A$AP SOUND

WIXEN MUSIC PUBLISHING, INC.—the Los Angeles-based publishing company which administers the song catalogs of many top artists from the last 100 years, ranging from Santana, the Doors, Missy Elliott and Al Green, to the Black Keys, Andrew Bird, Angel Olsen, and Sturgill Simpson—is proud to announce the signing of Hector Delgado. The Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter is best known as a longtime A$AP Rocky collaborator and a defining architect of the A$AP sound.

Hector’s fingerprint is all over many of Rocky’s most iconic tracks, including “L$D,” “A$AP Forever,” “Praise the Lord (Da Shine),” “Purity,” “Fashion Killa,” “Fukk Sleep,” “Sundress,” “Excuse Me,” and many more.

“It’s a huge honor to be working with Hector towards sharing his talents with other artists,” says company founder Randall Wixen. “We and the team in London will be exploring collaborations that can garner even more exposure to his amazing talent for bringing out the best in major artists.”

Hector’s genre-blurring production style has drawn artists from across the creative spectrum, including Tyler The Creator, Lana Del Rey, 21 Savage, Frank Ocean, Skepta, French Montana, Selena Gomez, and FKA Twigs. He co-produced “Good for You” (Selena Gomez & A$AP Rocky), “Groupie Love” (Lana Del Rey feat. Rocky), and “Chit Chat” (French Montana feat. Rocky), adding his signature mood-driven edge to global pop hits.

A rare hybrid of beatmaker, songwriter, and innovative musical thinker, Hector brings a cinematic approach to production—shaping not just tracks, but entire sonic worlds. His recent work includes “Flacko Locko” for the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack, and he’s currently a lead creative force behind A$AP Rocky’s anticipated fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb. Delgado is managed worldwide by Jeff Antebi for Waxploitation. A curated playlist of Delgado’s select works can be heard here.

FLOW is a five-piece mixed rock band consisting of members KOHSHI(Vo)、KEIGO(Vo)、TAKE(Gt)、GOT’S(Ba)、and IWASAKI(Dr). Brothers KOHSHI (older brother, Vo) and TAKE (younger brother, Gt) started their music career in 1993 and formed FLOW in 1998. KEIGO (Vo) and GOT’S (Ba) joined in 1999, and IWASAKI (Dr) joined in 2000, forming the current band. Since their major debut in 2003 with the single “Blaster”, FLOW has released many hit songs into the world with the strength of their melodies woven by the twin vocals and their wide range of genre and musicality. They have strong reputation for the work they have done with anime, including the opening theme “GO!!!” for “NARUTO,” “COLORS,” for “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion,” and “Kaze no Uta,” for “Tales of Zestiria: The Cross.”

Since 2006, they have been performing actively overseas, and have done live shows in Asia, North America, South America, Europe, etc., bringing their music across borders as a live band. From 2024, the band held their largest world tour in the history of the band, “ANIME SHIBARI”, traveling to North America, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia over the course of about a year, starting with a performance in Australia. In May 2025, the ending theme “Alright!!” was released for the TV anime “From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman.” In June, they hosted the anime song rock festival “FLOW THE FESTIVAL 2025” over the course of two days, after holding the first one the year before, and have continued to perform energetically even more than 20 years since their debut.

6x Platinum and 8x Gold-certified, record-breaking Finnish rock outfit THE RASMUS has today (July 11, via Better Noise Music and Playground Music) released “Love Is A Bitch,” described by lead singer Lauri Ylönen as a “wildcard” track for the band. Known for their musically dark atmospheres, the band subversively merges catchy modern pop stylings with stadium-sized guitar crunch in this sardonic song about relationships.

“‘This song was always a wildcard,” says singer Ylönen. “It never fit with the rest of the songs. Still, we thought it was a fun song to play and I’m glad we decided to put it on the album. Lyrically, it’s about someone who’s treating you like shit but is too good in bed to let go.”

“Love Is A Bitch” is taken from the album WEIRDO. It arrives September 12, marking THE RASMUS’ 11th studio album and first for Better Noise Music. Listen to “Love Is A BitchHERE and watch the video on the band’s official YouTube page HERE. Pre-orders and limited-edition merchandise bundles are available now HERE.

Love Is A Bitch” is the follow-up toBreak These Chains,” released May 16 along with the “Break These Chains” video, which has since garnered over 508k views, while Creatures of Chaosarrived March 28, with the video racking up over 771k views. The album’s first single, Rest In Pieces,” was rolled out on October 25, 2024, paired with a lyric video which now has amassed over 620k views.

Most of the songs on WEIRDO were written by Lauri Ylönen, Desmond Child (who contributed to the band’s BLACK ROSES and RISE albums and has worked with Bon Jovi, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, among countless others) and Marti Fredriksen (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Veil Brides) in Folegandros, Greece. That’s where Lauri and Desmond met up to work on material that Lauri brought. THE RASMUS then did full band demos of all the tracks in Finland in July 2023, with production led by Frederiksen and Child.

Later, they finalized the songs and recorded the album with the whole band in Marti Fredriksen’s Sienna Studios in Nashville. Some of the tracks were mixed by Fredriksen in Nashville, assisted by Evan Fredriksen, while other mixes were done by Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Shinedown, Daughtry) in Vancouver, Canada and by Claudius Mittendorfer (Panic! At The Disco, We Are Scientists) in London, and Joseph McQueen (Bad Wolves, As I Lay Dying, From Ashes To New) in Los Angeles. Additional production by McQueen injects a fresh intensity into tracks like “Creatures of Chaos” and “Break These Chains,” while Ylönen himself takes the helm on “Rest in Pieces” alongside Alex Mattson.

“I find it comforting that our 11th album, WEIRDO, has pretty much the same message as on our first album released in 1996,” says Lauri. “It is to defend and praise the ones who are different from the masses and proudly being themselves as they are. It has been our philosophy from the very beginning.”

Ylönen explains the power behind being a “weirdo.” “In this society I’ve always felt that I’ve had to prove myself for being the way I am or doing the things I do. I’ve always felt like an outsider not fitting the norm. I’ve been called a weirdo, misfit and a freak. That used to make me angry—but not anymore. It’s become my source of strength and confidence. I’ve realized the power of it. All the people I find exciting and inspiring are somehow strange. We, the Weirdos, unite and feed off people’s judging attitudes. The fact is they’re just afraid of us. Afraid of our capability to create new and change the future. Are you a Weirdo? Join us…”

THE RASMUS will bring their unforgettable stage show to audiences worldwide in 2025 on the “Weirdo Tour,” shows for 2026 are starting to be confirmed. They recently concluded a month-long U.S. trek with The Funeral Portrait and their own North American headlining tour. Tickets are on sale now for its European leg (9/12 – 12/6), while tickets for their 2026 shows will go on-sale July 17; see the full dates listed below.

Melodicmag.com described last month’s tour stop in Boston as having, “…a special energy throughout the night, as the band mentioned many times how happy and fortunate they felt to finally be playing in Boston…It is safe to say The Rasmus gifted their loyal fans with a jam-packed show that is sure to be unforgettable.”

Meanwhile, The Rasmus will play a charity concert in Ukraine on July 19 as the headliner of the Atlas Festival, as the only foreign artist at the event. The band wants to do their part to help Ukraine. Over 60,000 people are expected to be in attendance, and there will be a comprehensive security system and evacuation plan for the audience and performers in just a few minutes if necessary. Last year, the festival raised over two million euros for charity. The artists can choose to direct their charitable funds to any Ukraine-related cause, such as supporting children’s hospitals, purchasing ambulances, or helping combat medical personnel.

“It’s scary to play in the middle of war, but we want to show our support for the Ukrainian people,” says Lauri Ylönen. We have a massive fan base in Ukraine and we’ve also previously done a joint song with the Ukrainian Eurovision winner Kalush Orchestra.”

With their new album WEIRDO, THE RASMUS once again proves why they remain a force to be reckoned with in the rock world. In their native Finland, where they are the reigning #1 rock band, THE RASMUS stands at #1 on Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and Deezer as far as followers, views, likes and streams. It is often said that the best bands are the ones which keep surprising you time and time again, in the most thrilling of ways. This is something that the 6x Platinum and 8x Gold-certified band have been doing since their major label debut and a creative responsibility they take great pride in. If you’ve listened to any of their albums, you’ll be able to hear a kaleidoscopic collage of heavy guitars against futuristic electronics, as well as pop hooks that can find their way into the heart of any kind of music fan. As a direct result, they’ve become one of Finland’s greatest musical exports, selling millions of records worldwide and winning award after award.

With its uncompromising vision and unapologetic message, WEIRDO is poised to be THE RASMUS’ most ambitious and impactful album yet. Here’s the album’s track list:

1. Creatures of Chaos
2. Break These Chains
3. Rest in Pieces
4. Dead Ringer
5. Weirdo
6. Banksy
7. Love Is a Bitch

[Los Angeles, CA – July 9, 2025] — Alt Rock favorites Yellowcard are celebrating today’s global release “Take What You Want” with an accompanying music video showcasing footage taken during the band’s recent tours in Japan, Australia and Europe. “Take What You Want” is the third new song from the group’s forthcoming studio album “Better Days” releasing worldwide on October 10th. “Take What You Want” follows the release of the first two songs “Better Days” and “honestly i” which have accumulated over 4-million streams since release on May 28th. Listen to “Take What You Want” HERE and watch the video HERE. Both have been released today (July 9th).

The highly anticipated new album is produced, and executive produced, by Travis Barker with Barker also playing drums on every song. The album’s title track “Better Days” is at radio now and in just 4 weeks, is already up to #13 on the Mediabase Alternative chart.

“The new track ‘Take What You Want’ really captures the amazing energy of these sessions with Travis Barker producing. The drums immediately pull you in, and the melodies are so focused and memorable,” says lead singer Ryan Key.

Once ubiquitous on MTV and the Billboard Hot 100, the Vans Warped Tour veterans, whose first two albums produced double-platinum and gold title tracks, sound fully recharged and revitalized in 2025.

The band agreed that making a new album was pointless unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and for the first time gave themselves permission to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his long-time friend Nick Long into the writing sessions and it was through Long that Barker became part of the project, coming on board to play drums and produce the whole album.

“I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed,” says front man Ryan Key who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative studio breakthroughs. “I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again.”

In June, Yellowcard announced their co-headline “Maximum Fun Tour” alongside A Day To Remember running from September 5th through November 22nd with stops on both the Warped Tour and When We Were Young Festival (complete tour schedule below).

Formed in Jacksonville FL in 1997, Yellowcard became one of the most influential bands in the 2000’s alternative rock scene. Known for blending high energy pop punk with a signature violin twist, their 2003 breakthrough Ocean Avenue is certified Platinum with the title track now certified 2X Platinum. With over 4 million albums sold worldwide and over 1 billion streams, the band is poised for continued success on this new endeavor.  After disbanding in 2017, Yellowcard reunited in 2022 entering into a new creative era and a year packed with a global tour to support it.

About Yellowcard

Yellowcard meant it when they said goodbye. The lights dimmed on one of the most beloved pop-punk and alt-rock bands of the 2000s with intention and authenticity. Wrapping things up with a farewell tour, Yellowcard exited the “right” way, with grace, appreciation, and finality.

But the story wasn’t complete. Legacy cracked the door. Healing blew it wide open. Riding a resurgence that saw the global Ocean Avenue 20th anniversary tour featured in Forbes and a reconciliation that put all four members at peace with their legacy and each other, Yellowcard just made the most ambitious and emotionally resonant record of their career. Better Days, the band’s first album in nearly a decade, was produced by blink-182’s Travis Barker, who also played drums on every track.

Their first release with powerhouse label Better Noise Music, Better Days is Yellowcard’s testimony that healing is a process, growth is nonlinear, and sometimes the best chapter opens after the supposed ending. This isn’t just a return. It’s a reckoning. And this time, Yellowcard is ready.

Yellowcard is:

  • William Ryan Key – Vocals/Guitar
  • Sean Mackin – Violin
  • Ryan Mendez – Guitar
  • Josh Portman – Bass

MTV “London Calling” VJ STEVE BLACKNELL Recounts Colorful Life in New Book, “Tales From The Bedroom Wall,” Out July 9

STEVE BLACKNELL
“TALES FROM THE BEDROOM WALL–
THE LIFE & TIMES OF A SERIAL THRILL SEEKER”
SET FOR JULY 9 RELEASE
MTV “LONDON CALLING” VJ RECOUNTS HIS COLORFUL LIFE IN BOOK THAT FEATURES FOREWORD BY
LONGTIME FRIEND BILL WYMAN

“I met this young man a good forty years ago and we have remained close friends to the present day. From the start we were brothers-in-arms, sharing a love for the British humour of Tommy Cooper. We continue to meet as friends, and our e-mails always leave something to be desired, with Steve writing to me as Algernon or Clive and signing off as Fred. My replies would be addressed to Bert, and I would sign off as Tarquin, or the likes.”
BILL WYMAN (The Rolling Stones)

Enigmatic TV host, radio presenter, record company executive, and friend to the rich and famous—there is nothing that STEVE BLACKNELL hasn’t done. Except write his memoir, which he has finally done in TALES FROM THE BEDROOM WALL – THE LIFE & TIMES OF A SERIAL THRILL SEEKER (Old Treacle Press). Due out July 9 through Amazon – the book takes readers on a journey throughout his colorful life—the ups the downs, near death experiences, losing millions, taking Concorde to Live Aid with Phil Collins and dating Kate Bush, to his battle with bulimia and other addictions. This is the book that has it all and more.

In America, STEVE BLACKNELL is mainly known for hosting the award-winning MTV USA music fashion show “London Calling” which pulled 23 million viewers. He interviewed over 100 pop stars that included a snarly Alice Cooper, heartthrob David Cassidy in a hotel Jacuzzi, a 40-minute chat with Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister who consumed an entire bottle of Jack Daniels and a table tennis game with Bill Wyman who discussed his career in the Rolling Stones.

Growing up, STEVE adorned his bedroom wall with pictures of his musical heroes, blissfully unaware he would meet so many of them in future days. His bizarre adventures both in the UK and Hollywood, his ridiculous forays into drugs and food addictions and an inability to take other people’s advice saw him go from millionaire to near poverty. The book is about failure, ignorance, arrogance, and an innate desire to push boundaries until they explode.

“There’s an old joke that goes ‘Everybody has a book in them’ which explains the lump in my throat. Indeed, I do believe there are so many of us who aren’t necessarily household names that have lived life to ‘the max!” STEVE says. “With me it hasn’t been deliberate—I’ve just tried to pack in as many adventures as possible in my allotted time. At 72 I still have a few tricks up my sleeve—for as the Buddhists say ‘You’re only here three billion times so you’d better enjoy yourself.’”

Steve Blacknell was born in Peckham, UK and moved to Dartford, Kent in his early years eventually attending one of his heroes Mick Jagger’s old school, Dartford Grammar—where he even got his second-hand geography book! An obsessive pop fan since the early 60’s, he decided early on that he wanted to be a Radio DJ and so wrote to many key industry figures with only one reply—from John Peel who advised him to try hospital radio. He became the breakfast DJ at St Thomas’s Hospital in London for a year, supported by a certain ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris.

His first love was Kate Bush, who he met in Dartford on the arm of another man however they got together soon after. The budding songwriter and wannabee DJ would plot world domination; her the pop star and Steve introducing her on ‘Top of the Pops’! He, however, had no idea that he was dealing with a real musical genius.

The early 70s saw a move to Worcestershire where he worked at a Special Needs Home, and he started taking drugs. He eventually got his big break into music at Decca Records in the PR department and later at ABC working with artists from Steely Dan to Don Williams, during which time he began a dangerous dance with Anorexic Bulimia. He also met the future love of his life, Maggie. He moved to Chrysalis Records in the late 70s working with acts like Leo Sayer, Jethro Tull and Split Enz, finally joining Jive Records where he signed A Flock Of Seagulls after seeing them perform “I Ran.”

By the 1980s he was hanging out with the right people and was spotted by the BBC who asked him to host BBC 2’s “hip” new pop fashion show “Riverside” where he introduced a brand-new band—New Order! After calling the Deputy Editor of BBC Breakfast Time most days for about six weeks, he was drafted in to do the pop news when the late Mike Smith became ill. He stayed for three years and learned his trade from Frank Bough. By this point, he was also a regular host on Radio One’s “In Concert,” also the simulcast with BBC2 – “Sight and Sound in Concert.”

He was the BBC presenter covering Live Aid, the most important music event in the thirty-year history of rock & roll, flying in Concorde with Phil Collins–the only performer onstage at both Wembley and later the same day, Philadelphia.

After a 5-year stint as Peter Stringfellow’s PR and as Europe’s first “Video Jockey,’’ he hosted the award-winning MTV USA music fashion show “London Calling” which pulled 23 million viewers.

He became super rich and bought a mansion flat in the super trendy Holland Park Avenue–complete with chauffeur. He then had a dramatic sinus operation that left him stranded indoors for three months where he saw “God,” and on the flip of a coin while listening to Paul Young singing “Everything Must Change’’ he decided to try and crack the U.S.A and moved to Los Angeles.

While in the U.S., he met and married ex-groupie and 60’s legend Catherine James—the former wife of Moody Blues/Wings star Denny Laine. She was Diane Keaton’s movie double for many years and was also best mates with mega-stars Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. He soon found out that Catherine had lived with Mick Jagger in London and dated the A-Z of rock heroes. She’d been at the piano with Clapton when he wrote “Layla,” and knew Hendrix, Morrison and others.

After several TV hosting jobs–including a stint as the Hollywood anchor of the UK-based TV channel BSKYB and as an actor making five movies, he avoided death when a speed boat exploded in Marina Del Rey and spent six months in a wheelchair addicted to the powerful opiate Vicodin. After only six years in the States, he left Hollywood and his wife for the UK once more–now penniless.

Once back in the UK he reunited with Maggie–the love of his life–and eventually moved to Hythe, Kent with her. They have had a 50-year romance that survived the gaps! After 18 years, he still runs London’s premiere “media networking” club The Waffle. He is also the most qualified TV teacher in the UK and is CEO of The Central London School of TV and Media Training.
