“‘Let You Go’ is about reaching a breaking point and fantasizing about leaving the stress of reality behind,” says vocalist Brendan Hoye. “The song was initially started when our record label at the time had us stuck in a state of limbo, but more specifically is about the freeing thought of leaving music behind when it causes you more frustration than happiness.”

ABOUT FINISH TICKET:
FINISH TICKET have taken fans, and themselves, on a rollercoaster ride throughout their career with a whirlwind of highs and lows. After creating a wave with sold-out shows across the Bay Area and their debut album Tears You Apart, they were picked up by Atlantic Records who released their EP When Night Becomes Day. They made their debut late-night TV performance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien.” In 2019, FINISH TICKET self-released their hit track “Dream Song,” which garnered over 4.1 million streams and saw the band embark on a successful headlining tour, selling out multiple venues across the country. Then COVID hit in 2020 and put everything to a halt.

After spending the past three years writing and recording their second full-length album, Echo Afternoon, FINISH TICKET signed a record deal with Better Noise Music and released the record’s first track “Changing” in July 2023. This was supported by a U.S. run with The Beaches followed by a summer long tour which included a performance at Lollapalooza (alongside headlining acts Billie Eilish and Karol G) and Arizona’s Innings Fest.

“I’ve always loved Little Feat, and this new incarnation of the band is bringing some serious heat, cred and new blood to their enduring legacy,” says Bonnie Raitt, a longtime friend of LITTLE FEAT.

With her warm and deeply soulful vocals, Raitt duets with the band’s Sam Clayton on a cover of Muddy Waters’ “Long Distance Call.” It’s the newly released third single from the band’s new album SAM’S PLACE (Hot Tomato Productions/MRI) out this Friday, May 17. Listen to the slow-burning song HERE that was premiered yesterday (May 15) via Ultimate Classic Rock.

SAM’S PLACE marks the legendary band’s first new studio album in 12 years; first-ever blues album; and the first one to feature linchpin conga player Clayton on lead vocals on every song. Pre-order/pre-save the album HERE.

“Every Feat fan loves us some Sam,” adds Raitt. “I’m so glad he’s now gotten a chance to step out front and center and put his spin on these wonderful blues songs. I loved singing ‘Long Distance Call’ with him, always one of my favorites, and Scott slayed on slide. Know you’ll enjoy hanging out with us at Sam’s Place!”

“Long Distance Call,” which also features Michael “Bull” LoBue on harmonica, follows the first two tracks/videos from SAM’S PLACE: You’ll Be Mine,” a cover of the Willie Dixon-written chestnut popularized by Howlin’ Wolf and Can’t Be Satisfied,” a rollicking interpretation of the classic Muddy Waters-written gem.

The members of LITTLE FEAT 2024 are: Bill Payne, Keyboards and Vocals; Sam Clayton, Percussion and Vocals; Fred Tackett, Guitars and Vocals, Kenny Gradney, Bass; Scott Sharrard, Guitars and Vocals; and Tony Leone, drums and vocals. Their individual musical chops and collective chemistry light up the nine-track SAM’S PLACE, which was waxed at Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, TN (August 2023), except for “Got My Mojo Working (Live),” recorded live at the Boulder Theatre in Boulder, CO (December 17, 2022). This is the first LITTLE FEAT album recorded with new members Sharrard and Leone.

LITTLE FEAT emerged from the pandemic with their sense of humor, chops, and collective joy in playing intact—and their creativity has been renewed with the joyously blues-soaked SAM’S PLACE. The idea for the album started with Bill, but the whole band jumped in. They started working on songs at sound checks. Sam, Scott and Fred wrote a new song, “Milk Man.” Visiting backstage at a FEAT show, Bonnie Raitt suggested the Howlin’ Wolf tune “You Will Be Mine.” Scott suggested “Why People Like That,” a Bobby Charles tune. Sam chose the Willy Dixon-penned “Don’t Go No Further,” a deep Muddy track. And they included a live version of “Got My Mojo Working.”

Scott had recorded in Memphis, and they eventually found their way to the second Phillips (the first was Sun Studios, where Elvis began his career) studio there, complete with Jerry Lee Lewis’s piano, which Bill noted “practically played itself.” FEAT’s a rock band, but as Scott observed, at the end “the blues is home,” and they basically recorded it live in the studio, in the tradition. Their playing is at an all-time high, and Bill thought their musical conversation was “flawless.”

Sam was a happy vocalist. His own “Milk Man,” a song about his nephew, has lyrics from his wife, Joni. The duet with Bonnie on “Long Distance Call,” he humbly admitted, was classic. “We go good together, man.” “Last Night” was done in memory of Sam’s very good friend, the late Ed Bradley of Sixty Minutes. And “Why People Like That” was particularly satisfying. “I just like the way the slide sounds and everything. I knew Scott is a great slide player too, plus he is a great lead guitarist. And I know we would put our touch to it, the Little Feat touch. So we just sort of did it. Scott just adds a lot to it and he answers to what I’m singing.”

SAM’S PLACE scratches a deep itch. Sam added, “I’m very happy because I was never expecting anything like that. I mean, I have wanted to, but I just wasn’t expecting it to come to fruition. It was a long wait, but it’s satisfying.”

LITTLE FEAT will be busy this summer on the road. From touring with the Tedeschi Trucks Band to headline shows with The Wood Brothers, Los Lobos, Marc Broussard, Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel, The Steel Wheels, and Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, there will be plenty of chances to boogie with the band. For their Baltimore, MD show on June 14, LITTLE FEAT will perform their classic 1973 album, Feats Don’t Fail Me Now, in its entirety. Tickets are available HERE.

ABOUT LITTLE FEAT:

The members of Little Feat emerged from the pandemic with their sense of humor, chops, and collective joy in playing intact on their 2024 album Sam’s Place. Over the past three years, they’ve focused tours on their epic live album Waiting for Columbus and re-issues of some of their classic albums (Sailin’ Shoes, Dixie Chicken, and Waiting for Columbus). Audience response has been rapturous. The band builds on a deep, over 50-year history. Little Feat used a combination of elite musicianship and brilliant, idiosyncratic songwriting to create a repertoire that transcends all boundaries. California rock, funk, folk, jazz, country and rockabilly mixed with New Orleans swamp boogie led to a powerful sound that has kept the audience dancing for decades. Their groove – in songs like “Dixie Chicken,” “Spanish Moon,” “Fat Man in the Bathtub,” and “Feats Don’t Fail Me Now” is a continuous thread of excellence that embraces the qualities of exploration that make up Little Feat, its music, while honoring their brothers that began this journey decades ago: Lowell George, Richie Hayward, and Paul Barrere. Their legacy is honest and durable with no end in sight. It has always been about the songs and musicianship. They’re in top form now with Scott Sharrard on lead guitar/vox and Tony Leone on drums/vox, and with founder Bill Payne on keys/vox, Fred Tackett on guitars/vox, Kenny Gradney on bass, and Sam Clayton on percussion/vox.

‘CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN’
ALBUM

“You ain’t got no time left to waste/
Now we’re kickin’ ass & takin’ names…”
Freedom

SEBASTIAN BACH has today (May 18) released a new video for “Freedom,” the latest track from his just-released and much-anticipated CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN (Reigning Phoenix Music) album—his first solo effort in 10 years. The new single by singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor features lyrics by SEBASTIAN BACH, music by him and John 5 (who also guests on lead guitar) with melody contributions from the album’s producer Elvis Baskette. For the video, BACH teamed up with directors Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera (who directed the album’s three previous videos).

“This is the third record in a row with John 5 writing and playing with me,” SEBASTIAN says. “The song ‘Freedom’ is an homage to my favorite instrument…the cowbell! Which the world needs plenty more of right now!”

From the opening clip of a hearse, the dark, spooky, gothic-themed “Freedom” clip takes viewers on a creepy journey with vampires, grave diggers, gargoyles, aliens and SEBASTIAN rising from the dead (with a cowbell!), along with a sinister nightclub scene and a live band performance; be sure to stay tuned to the end for a special zombie guest star. Watch the “Freedom” video HERE. The song marks the third single from CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN, following What Do I Got To Lose?,” “Everybody Bleeds,” and (Hold On) To The Dream.”

CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN was recorded in Orlando, Florida; produced and mixed by Baskette; engineered by Jef Moll, assistant engineered by Josh Saldate; and mastered by Robert Ludwig/Gateway Mastering. BACH wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi—who all co-wrote their respective tracks with BACH—and two tracks co-written with Myles Kennedy (“What Do I Got to Lose?” and “To Live Again’); Devin Bronson on guitars, Todd Kerns (bass) and Jeremy Coulson (drums) round out the players on the album. The album artwork holds special meaning since it was designed by BACH’s father, noted visual artist David Bierk. “This album artwork was started in 1978 and finished in 2024!” SEBASTIAN says.

About Sebastian Bach:

With an inimitable presence as loud as his instantly identifiable voice, SEBASTIAN BACH has left a San Andreas Fault-size imprint on music, theater, film, television, and culture. Moreover, his influence only continues to magnify. He has made history as “the first heavy metal singer on Broadway” with a now legendary turn in Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical in addition to leading roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has appeared in dozens of television series and films, ranging from “Trailer Park Boys” and “Robot Chicken” to “Spongebob Squarepants,” “The Masked Singer,” and “Hell’s Kitchen.” Speaking to his versatility, he’s the rare force of nature who can duet with Axl Rose and reprise a seven-season recurring role on “Gilmore Girls.”

Los Angeles-based alt-pop duo Good RznJosie Molasky (vocalist/songwriter) and Tommy Ghirardini (guitarist/producer)—have taken the unconventional approach of today (May 15) unveiling three videos at once to fully illuminate the essence of their music. They’re calling the release of these videos—“Running Out Of Time,” “Far From Me,” and “123”—the “Falling In Slow Motion” video trilogy. Watch them here:

FALLING IN SLOW MOTION TRILOGY P.I: RUNNING OUT OF TIME
FALLING IN SLOW MOTION TRILOGY P.II: FAR FROM ME
FALLING IN SLOW MOTION TRILOGY P.III: 123

All three videos are visually striking and mysterious, notable for the use of color with a dreamy, washed-out feel that dovetails with the existential themes of the songs. Each video was directed by the visual artist Mishko (represented by Randi Wilens & RW Media).

Mishko’s style speaks for itself in that the unique quality of the work transports the onlooker into another realm,” says Good Rzn. “A mixture of dreamlike imagery and real-life elements mirrors our approach to the music on our EP in many ways. We’d been wanting to work with Mishko since starting Good Rzn and this project ended up being the perfect time.”

Good Rzn’s EP, titled Falling In Slow Motion and released in October 2023, highlights the group’s alternative and psychedelic pop, seen through a lens of rock and electronic music. Their music was described by the Las Vegas Weekly as “a marriage of trebly synths, pop-leaning production and Molasky’s alluring cadence…” (10/5/23).

Good Rzn are driven by weaving their lives into art. “For us, to experience life is to experience art—to think is to create,” they explain. The ‘Falling in Slow Motion’ trilogy reflects on a transformative period of our lives captured through song, which led to visions of the world in a different light. The videos view the past, present, and future through a kaleidoscopic lens, painting a picture of moments with the emotion that they evoke. This project represents the juxtaposition of reality versus the way one chooses to frame it. Art is an escape for many people, including us, and the creative universe of Good Rzn expands with this visual experience.”

Q&A WITH GOOD RZN
ABOUT THE “FALLING IN SLOW MOTION”
VIDEO TRILOGY

“Running Out Of Time”:

In this video, you’re being followed, in the streets of Los Angeles and in the surrounding hills, by the image of an apparition and resisting its pull. You’ve said that the song was meant to “evoke a sense of urgency to chase your dreams and do the things you’ve always wanted to do now instead of later.”  Tell us about the experience of making the video and how you feel it captures the song’s theme?

Good Rzn: “Running Out Of Time” conveys what it feels like to be in pursuit of something meaningful while facing trials and tribulations. Perspective shifts as the weeks seem to go by faster and every minute starts to count. The colorful entity that is introduced in part 1 of the “Falling In Slow Motion” trilogy personifies time, the unknown, and the doubt that holds us back from being able to follow our dreams At the end of the first video, we embrace the unknown and are able to access a world of beauty, inspiration and wonder.

Far From Me”:

This video has a surreal quality, particularly when you’re shown opening a large box of cereal with the band’s moniker on the box. We again see you wandering in the hills—heading toward a colorful abyss—and elsewhere in the video, you’re shown in a bar. You’ve said about the song: “The lyrics address themes of being away from someone close to you or something you love, and the ensuing growth and strife that occurs in that setting.” How do you feel the video supports the song’s theme?

Good Rzn: Part 2 of the “Falling In Slow Motion” trilogy begins with a larger than life breakfast scene with a surreal backdrop. “Good Rzn Yummy Oh’s” fruit cereal pours out of a never-ending container and our characters are surrounded by oversized food items, taking a seemingly mundane morning routine into another dimension where the impossible is possible. The story unfolds as two individuals face the world as artists, brought together in the end producing something even greater than what they could create on their own. They stand together decorating time with music. ”

“123”:
You’ve said that this is “a nostalgic song that talks about simpler times when things seemed straightforward. Life is hard and getting places isn’t as “easy as ABC” or as ‘easy as 123.’” In the video, you’re shown walking in the hills, as if you’re both in state of wonder. Elsewhere, we see an eclipse, and you’re holding what appears to be a crystal ball. Technically, the footage in video has a compellingly distressed look to it. What are your thoughts about the video and how do you feel it illustrates the song’s subject?

Good Rzn: In the final installment of the “Falling In Slow Motion” trilogy, we witness the culmination of our characters’ internal struggle. This narrative explores our inclination to suppress big dreams out of fear of disappointment, highlighting how society’s expectations can add layers of complexity to our lives. Embracing creativity becomes the key to unlocking our true potential, as we immerse ourselves in a space where music, art, and light reveal the inner beauty of our minds.

About Good Rzn:

Good Rzn began releasing music in the fall of 2021. On their self-produced FALLING IN SLOW MOTION (2023), they paint the positives and negatives of life as an epic roller coaster ride. The five-track EP gives insight into the feelings the two artists have experienced in their past few years living in Los Angeles. Each song dives into different components of the factors that have influenced the pair since moving to Los Angeles, CA from Boulder, CO. “We wanted this collection of music to represent a specific time period of our artistic journey,” says Good Rzn.We’ve had a lot of amazing moments, but there were also struggles along the way. The creation of these pieces helped us find peace in expressing ourselves and hope it might do the same for our listeners.”

Las Vegas-based heavy rock outfit SWAGGERMOUTH are ready to share their unique brand of “controlled chaos” on their debut album NEVER SHUT UP due in late July via Rock Avenue Records USA. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by frontman Jason Ebs (who’s previously toured as a vocalist and guitarist with Peter Criss on the “Bad Boys of KISS” tour with Ace Frehley) at his newly acquired studio he named, “Dragon Castle Studio,” which was the former studio of platinum-selling rockers Imagine Dragons. It features Chris Slade (AC/DC) on drums, who also co-wrote the album with Jason and frontwoman Janea Chadwick Ebs. The band have today, May 15, shared its lead track “Let It Roll,” showcasing Jason and Janea’s intertwined vocals and melodic upbeat sound which Jason describes as “Slammin’ Pop.” Stream it now HERE at your preferred digital platform. “Let It Roll” will make its official radio debut today on SIRIUS XM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard’s “Ultimate Sinners” show (Channel #38) during JASON’s guest DJ set starting at 9am PT/12pm PT.

Speaking about NEVER SHUT UP, Jason shares:
“Musically it covers the gamut of human emotions, from super heavy to tender to angry and maybe even a little happy, just like real life.  We called it ‘Never Shut Up’ because lyrically we like to address topics of today’s society, and as Americans we’ve painted ourselves into a corner and find ourselves afraid to speak and having to watch everything that we say.  We must always maintain our ability to use our voices and to stand up for what we believe but as I like to say, must also ‘Examine Society and Question Authority.’ ‘Enough with the Normalization of Madness.’”

SWAGGERMOUTH have also shared the captivating music video for “Let It Roll,” seen streaming below or directly on YouTube HERE. The video was filmed at Vegas locations including Ebs’ studio, the abandoned mining site Wheel of Misfortune in Las Vegas, the youth music school Rockstars of Tomorrow, and features Vegas’ iconic showgirls from Vintage Vegas Entertainment. The video highlights SWAGGERMOUTH’s live lineup consisting of Jason (vocals/guitars), Janea (vocals), Borgi (keyboards), Joseph Nile (bass), and Billy Kessner (drums).

Read a Q&A with Jason below to find out more about the new music, working with Chris Slade and filming the video.

Q&A WITH JASON EBS

–Tell us what inspired you to write “Let It Roll” and how you chose it to be the first new music from Never Shut Up.

“‘Let It Roll’ is one of my older riffs and one of the last ones I wrote in our LA studio before moving to Vegas. Once I set up my first studio here in Vegas, I would record a batch of songs by laying guitars and bass to a click and Chris Slade would lay drums to them when he came to town.  This session happened to be the last one before he was called back into AC/DC for the tour in 2015. “

“I had loved the music to it and I always had the title ‘Let It Roll’ but the lyrics never came to me or Janea. It sat unfinished for years as we adjusted to life in Las Vegas and went through the pandemic, locked away in the studio while finishing the other songs on the record.  After listing to all the other songs, I felt like the record was unfinished. I happened to pull up the music to ‘Let It Roll’ and it hit me like a steam roller!  Suddenly after all these years, the words flowed out of me with a new melody. I felt like we had officially landed here in Vegas, and I wanted to capture that in the song.  Janea and I played it for the rest of the band and everyone said, ‘this is the one!’  It became the song that we feel properly represented us out of the gate as a brand-new band out of Vegas.  ‘The Vegas Knights are showing anything can happen, you make your wishes with a role of the dice…’”

–How did you pick the locations to shoot the music video and was there something special that drew you to them?

“We wanted to capture our version of Las Vegas in our debut single and video, so for our first location I wanted to film an after-hours party scene here at our newly acquired studio that I named Dragon Castle Studios since it was formerly a studio band house owned by Imagine Dragons.  Having it be the hallowed ground where they recorded and produced several of their hit records, we wanted to establish it as the new home base of SWAGGERMOUTH by christening it with a party of select friends, industry peeps, and Vegas staples like Showgirls, who raced from a Golden Knights playoff game directly to our video shoot set.  Imagine Dragons had left two huge bottles of champagne in the fridge for us when we moved in, and you can see us opening one of them in the video in the party scene.”

“For Location #2, our bass player Joseph Nile mentioned this kick ass place called the ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ and sent me a link to preview.  I LOVED it immediately, as it’s graffiti ridden ruins matched the heaviness & grittiness of ‘Let It Roll.’ Vegas is a place that you come to roll the dice either for money or success, but pitfalls or bad luck can take you down, so it was a perfect match in its Mad Max ‘end of the world’ way. It matched where I feel that we are in society now… livin’ on the edge.”

‘I believe in keeping music and creativity in the minds of our youth, as music is what got me through my childhood and entire life for that matter.   So, when my friend Marissa invited me to do a walkthrough of RockStars of Tomorrow here in Las Vegas, I thought that it would be another perfect location to shoot some concert footage and help spread the word by featuring some of the Rock Stars of tomorrow!  The kids were all really excited about it and have been telling all their friends about the experience…so mission accomplished!”

— Can you share how you met Chris Slade and what it was like co-writing the album and having him perform on drums?

“I’ve actually known Slade longer than Janea, believe it or not!  I used to play weekly at the Burbank Bar and Grille and Slade would come in with Geoff Downs & John Payne, as he was playing drums in ASIA at the time. Meanwhile, Janea and I had formed a new band ECOTONIC and we’d just finished our debut record. The band imploded just as the record was completed. I was at NAMM with Janea when Slade sat down across from us. I happened to have an ECOTONIC CD with me, so I went over and said hello, told him about the band and that we were looking for a drummer and gave him the music. He called me the next day saying he loved it and two days later he brought his kit over and we started recording the CD with him on it.”

“Slade is very other worldly and of a higher consciousness, which always leads us to deep conversations that turn into new songs.  He is super easy to write with, as there’s no ego or bullshit, only creativity and flow with everyone going for the best result.  He used to drive to our studio house in the hills of Glendale all the way from Orange County, and he’d arrive at the door humming new song ideas saying, ‘quick, get something to record this”…and 10 minutes later we’d have a new song.”

“I am always humbled thinking of the people that Slade has played drums for whose spot I was standing in–Jimmy Page, David Gilmore, Angus Young–and it’s always a bit of a thrill every time we jam together.  Janea and I are so grateful for him as a human and for his talents, and I’m honored to be playing drums on the same record as him.  He’s a forever friend and an extended family member.”

Los Angeles-based alternative rock group HARDCASTLE blend compelling melodies, introspective lyrics, and passion to create a sound that speaks to everyone. Originally formed in Nashville in 2018 by vocalist/guitarist Graham Laderman, HARDCASTLE broke onto the scene with a sold-out opening tour with The Band Camino and the groundbreaking track “Mundane” which has garnered over 5.6 million streams to date. The band disbanded due to the impact of Covid in 2020 and was reformed by LADERMAN in Los Angeles with a refreshed line-up including bassist Noah Christian, drummer Jason Puma, and guitarist Raul ‘Perro’ Murillo.

HARDCASTLE are excited to announce their new EP CIRCUIT will be released on September 13 via MNRK. Following Graham’s move to LA, he was introduced to Oscar, Golden Globe and multiple Grammy-Award winning producer/manager Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, My Chemical Romance) and manager Lisa Cavallo who signed him to their management firm, Done Deal Management (ONE OK ROCK). CIRCUIT was produced by Rob, who enlisted guitarist Tim Pierce (Shinedown, Bon Jovi) to record on some of the EP’s tracks before it was sent for mixing by Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons) and mastering by Howie Weinberg (U2, Smashing Pumpkins). Diving into themes such as mental health, toxicity, and self-discovery, the record explores Graham’s journey of transformation, healing, and an ever-present love of music.

HARDCASTLE will release the EP’s debut track, the emotionally gripping and sonically massive “Hostage,” this Friday, May 17 across all digital platforms. The band have today, May 15, revealed its riveting performance-based music video exclusively via YouTube. Watch it streaming below or on their channel HERE. Pre-save “Hostage” digitally HERE.

“‘Circuit’ is the culmination of over 10 years of trying to find myself,” shares Graham. “What started as an ember became a roaring flame as I found my way back to my love of music. Getting to work with Rob Cavallo, Tim Pierce, Mark Needham, and my friends to create something I feel wholly represented by is beyond a dream come true. I’ll let the record play now and the music can speak for itself…”

“I loved working with Graham, his enthusiasm and smarts in the rock genre are second to none,” praises Rob Cavallo. “I look forward to seeing the reaction from fans!”

“Hostage was in a way the first song I wrote (with Whakaio Taahi and Davis Naish) that opened the doors for this EP,” says Graham. “It was me saying ‘I’m not going to people please anymore, I’m going to say what I want and ignore the voice in my head that tells me I’m not good enough or that what I’m doing is worthless.’ It’s my experience of breaking out of the cage I had made from inherited and self-imposed beliefs that held me captive, stifling and trapping my identity within.”

HARDCASTLE will celebrate the release of “Hostage” with a hometown show at Genghis Cohen on May 22 with special guest Levi Evans. Tickets for the 18+ show are on-sale now HERE.

SEBASTIAN BACH Celebrates Today’s ‘Child Within The Man’ Album Release With New Single “Freedom” And “What Do I Got To Lose?” U.S. Tour Launch

DATE: MAY 10, 2024

FROM: MARCEE RONDAN

SEBASTIAN BACH
CELEBRATES TODAY’S
‘CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN’
ALBUM RELEASE
WITH NEW SINGLE
“FREEDOM” (LISTEN HERE)
AND “WHAT DO I GOT TO LOSE?”
U.S. TOUR LAUNCH
ALBUM OUT TODAY (MAY 10)
ON REIGNING PHOENIX MUSIC

SEBASTIAN BACH has a lot to celebrate today. It’s the release day for his much-anticipated CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN (Reigning Phoenix Music) album—his first solo effort in 10 years—and tonight he’ll launch the U.S. leg of his “WHAT DO I GOT TO LOSE? TOUR.” The singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor has also released a new single “Freedom” from the album, with a video to follow in the coming days. Listen here. “Freedom” is the latest track from CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN; it follows What Do I Got To Lose?,” “Everybody Bleeds,” and (Hold On) To The Dream.”

Child Within the Man relates to the fact that rock and roll makes me feel like a kid,” BACH told Rock And Roll Globe. “The excitement of rock, the sound of it, the collecting of it, the communal vibe when you have a party or go to a concert—to me, rock and roll when it’s done right, like this album, feels like a magic elixir. Like something you can enjoy that makes you feel like a youth. The spirit of being a little kid. I can’t think of many things that do that in this world.”

CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Oria nthi—who all co-wrote their respective tracks with BACH—and two tracks co-written with Myles Kennedy (“What Do I Got to Lose?” and “To Live Again’); Devin Bronson on guitars, Todd Kerns (bass) and Jeremy Coulson (drums) round out the players on the album. The album is available on CD (Jewelcase), cassette and double LP in a variety of color options. The album artwork holds special meaning since it was designed by BACH’s father, noted visual artist David Bierk. “This album artwork was started in 1978 and finished in 2024!” SEBASTIAN says.

Here’s some initial critical feedback for the album:

“Sebastian Bach’s latest solo album, ‘Child Within the Man,’ is a reminder that every once in a while, a man and a moment meet…the vintage-sounding album has everything that made Bach a force…it shows a fierce performer in prime fighting form…his vocals remain sharp and his songwriting talents as cunning as ever.”
ASSOCIATED PRESS (5/8)

…this is about as personal as the man who was recently disguised as a giant tiki cup on The Masked Singer has ever gotten on record…He still has the amps cranked to 11, and his heavy metal screams are straight from 1991, but now lyrics such as ‘Everybody bleeds, everybody burns, everybody drowns’ have semi-healing connotations…caterwauling guitars linked hand-in-hand with larynx-shredding vocals and an air of forced doom hanging over almost every note…Bach’s conviction to them remains undeterred, words falling out of his mouth like they’re doing so for the first time. Bach’s voice has lost none of its rage or range, even in the highest registers…”
ULTIMATE CLASSIC ROCK (5/7)

“That voice, that persona, just screams ‘rock star’, […] thankfully, and despite its introspective-sounding title, Child Within The Man is Bach at full force”
KERRANG! (UK)

“An indisputable achievement… a perfectly mastered rise to power… he has probably just released his best solo album…”

Rising new rock outfit CROSSBONE SKULLY have released the thought-provoking new track, Money, Sex, or God” today, May 10, via Better Noise Music. The band’s mastermind/frontman TOMMY HENRIKSEN (guitarist & musical director for Alice Cooper’s band and member of Hollywood Vampires) and guitarist Anna Cara announced the song’s release in late April following the surprise reveal of the music video for the howl-inducing song “I Am The Wolf.” Stream and/or download “Money, Sex, or God” now at https://crossboneskully.ffm.to/msg.

“The song ‘Money, Sex, or God’ was inspired by a conversation I had while watching a tv show,” elaborates HENRIKSEN. “On the show, they were saying everything always comes down to three things you should never talk about in life: financials, sexual preference, and religion. I immediately thought…well that’s easy…Money, $ex, or God. It was one of those songs where it rarely happens with me, that the lyrics just fell right out: ‘Pick your prize, what you gonna choose? / I bet you God, he’s gonna lose / But then…if it was up to me? You’re all gonna lose’… thank you, universe!”

HENRIKSEN and CARA will join listeners for the global music video premiere of “Money, Sex, or Godtoday at 12 P.M. ET (9 A.M. PT) via YouTube and will introduce the inspirational figure behind the band’s music, ‘Crossbone Skully’—an avenging superhero who was tasked with the mission to save humanity and fight the age-old battle of good vs evil.

Here’s a special message from Crossbone Skully: “In the chaos of life, we’re faced with choices. Between ‘Money, Sex, or God,’ beware…for in my world, you’re all gonna lose! Because the true prize lies behind the Otherworld!”

Crossbone Skully’s plight was initially shared in the ashcan comic “Thing #1” which is included and signed with all orders for the CROSSBONE SKULLY’s first offering of a series of limited-edition 7” vinyl and includes their explosive single “The Boom Went The Boom (feat. Phil Collen of Def Leppard)” and their uplifting and anthemic track “I’m Unbreakable” as its B-side. Proceeds from the sale of the limited edition 7” vinyl will be donated to the 501(c)(3) charity MusiCares. Limited copies remain HERE. He is also the main character in the upcoming animated film of the same name, “Thing #1,” which includes voiceovers from A-list actor Johnny Depp and rock icons including Alice Cooper, Nikki Sixx, Joe Perry and Kane Roberts.

ABOUT CROSSBONE SKULLY:
Crossbone Skully is an avenging superhero from outer space, returning to earth to save the world and reconnect with his lost deity love Piper and Kyd, the son he never knew he had. Evil World Machine is a rock concept album that echoes similar dystopian visions such as Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and Diamond Dogs. The project, influenced by larger-than-life bands such as AC/DC, Alice Cooper, KISS, Iron Maiden and even the Sex Pistols, is the work of a collaborative team headed by veteran rock session bassist/guitarist Tommy Henriksen and Tommy Denander alongside the legendary Mutt Lange, who emerged from retirement to executive produce the project.

With a long history Henriksen has also had a successful side career as a producer/mixer/arranger and songwriter for the likes of Lady Gaga, Meat Loaf, Lou Reed, Halestorm, Kesha and Daughtry. His metamorphosis into Crossbone Skully started when Alice Cooper’s lighting man, who used to work for AC/DC, heard him singing like Bon Scott and successor Brian Johnson during a sound check–and suggested he build a solo project around it.

The sterling group of supporting musicians includes guitarist Tommy Denander (who introduced him to Mutt Lange after collaborating on Alice Cooper’s 2017 album Paranormal with Bob Ezrin), keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal), bassist Chris Wyse (Hollywood Vampires, Ace Frehley, the Cult, Ozzy Osbourne) and drummer Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires), the late UFO bassist Pete Way, mixer Olle Romo (Muse, Bryan Adams) and producer/mixer Mike Plotnikoff (AC/DC, Aerosmith), who helped get him noticed by Allen Kovac’s Better Noise Records. Making spoken-word appearances are Johnny Depp as the voice of “The Sorcerer,” along with Alice Cooper as “The Bringer of Light,” Joe Perry as “Big Bad Bone Crusher” and Nikki Sixx as “The Crooked Crow,” with Kane Roberts as “Alpha Watchman,” among other guests. Henriksen developed the voice of Crossbone Skully with a vocal app that makes him sound like a disembodied Stephen Hawking. Iconic creative/art director Mark Wilkinson, who designed for Iron Maiden, Marillion, Judas Priest and The Darkness, created the Crossbone Skully album cover.
