BRIT FLOYD—”widely recognized as the world’s premiere Pink Floyd experience” (Rolling Stone)—returns to the stage in 2025 with their biggest and most spectacular production to date, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album Wish You Were Here complete with the group’s award-winning laser and light show, massive circular screen, inflatables, and theatrics. In addition, BRIT FLOYD this summer will collaborate and perform on a massive double-bill run of five shows throughout iconic venues in California and Nevada with musician/producer-icon Alan Parsons.

Presented by Palladium Entertainment, this year’s celebration of the Wish You Were Here album will kick off with dates in the UK beginning February 19 in Manchester, UK and ending March 9 at Symphony Hall in Birmingham ahead of the group’s U.S. shows. The tour will honor the iconic album (released in 1975) which features four of Pink Floyd’s most beloved songs—“Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Welcome to the Machine,” “Have A Cigar” and “Wish You Were Here”—and is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time.

Every night, in a two-and-a-half-hour-plus show, BRIT FLOYD will perform the music of Wish You Were Here as well as classic tracks from Pink Floyd’s magnificent catalog of albums, including Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, The Division Bell, Meddle, and more.

The assembled band of musicians that audiences have come to love and respect worldwide over the years will take to the stage to perform note-for-note renditions of all the classic Pink Floyd tracks. The ensemble includes BRIT FLOYD’s long-time guitarist/lead vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, bassist/lead vocalist Ian Cattell, and Canadian Idol Winner vocalist Eva Avila, along with the other expert musicians who have joined the ranks of BRIT FLOYD over the last decade.

In the past, touring musicians from both Pink Floyd and Roger Waters’ touring band have shared the stage with BRIT FLOYD in the U.S., UK, and Europe. They include Pink Floyd bassist/vocalist Guy Pratt, backing vocalists Durga McBroom, and Roberta Freeman; Pink Floyd saxophonist Scott Page; Hammond organist/keyboardist Harry Waters (who will join BRIT FLOYD for 30 shows: 10 in the UK and 20 in the U.S.); and drummer Graham Broad, who are both from Roger Waters touring band. Expect to see some of these artists making guest appearances on the 2025 dates.

Having performed over 1,200 shows since their launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, BRIT FLOYD have circled the world, sold out tours across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and the Middle East. They have performed concerts at some of the world’s greatest venues, including London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, the awe-inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles; and ‘The Showplace of the Nation,’ NYC’s Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. The BRIT FLOYD show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded by many as the world’s greatest rock tribute experience.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and performer GINO VANNELLI has revealed a second single, “Stormy River,” from his upcoming album THE LIFE I GOT (TO MY MOST BELOVED) out February 7 via COA Productions with distribution by BFD / The Orchard. Written through a time of personal hardship as his late wife battled cancer, the self-written and self-produced album contains 11 finely etched tracks encompassing the emotional turmoil of losing one’s soulmate and finding the will to carry on.

Stormy River” is a beautiful-yet-melancholic offering that sees GINO’s signature vocal range cascade across its heart-rending lyrics. It is accompanied by an intimate music video, both of which are out today, January 15. Stream/download “Stormy River” via your preferred digital platform HERE and watch its music video streaming below or via YouTube HERE.

GINO shares, “You will never know just how fragile you are until you are confronted with such a great loss that you begin to stare at the veil between life and death and find yourself trying to look through it, so as to see the one you love, your most beloved, that is gone.”

THE LIFE I GOT (TO MY MOST BELOVED) is GINO’s most intimate release in his expansive 50+ year career with sales exceeding 20 million albums worldwide. Marking his 22nd album overall and his first new studio album since 2019, it was written, arranged, produced, and recorded by GINO and co-producer Peter Fil at Inka Studio in Portland, OR, where GINO resides. Pre-order THE LIFE I GOT (TO MY MOST BELOVED) now on CD, vinyl, and digital download at https://orcd.co/ginovannellithelifeigot.

Some things get better with age and GINO is the living embodiment of that sentiment. His standing as a powerful and innovative live performer has seen him continue to perform sold-out shows across the globe whether it’s piano-voice concerts in theaters, singing before symphony orchestras in concert halls, big bands or even pop ensembles. RONI LEE Today Unveils Video For Her Searing Interpretation Of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana”; ‘Feels Good 2 Be Bad’ EP Out 2/7

RONI TO CO-PRESENT THE THIRD ANNUAL
ROOFTOP ALL STAR PRE NAMM JAM 2025
JANUARY 22 IN ANAHEIM, CA

Rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist RONI LEE has always been a force of nature, with her background stretching back to the ‘70s Los Angeles punk band Venus and the Razorblades as well as writing songs for The Runaways. On the SoCal artist’s new EP FEELS GOOD 2 BE BAD—out February 7 via her label Play Like A Girl Records in collaboration with Von Artists and The Orchard distribution—feral guitar riffs, haunting violin melodies, and fiery vocals are all merged for maximum impact.

Today (January 14), RONI releases the video for the EP’s first offering, “Dirty Diana.” It’s her searing interpretation of the classic Michael Jackson song, with the single out this Friday (January 17) via all streaming platforms. The video was directed by Casey Calvert and features rocker Victoria Voxxx as lead actress/dancer, with filming largely done at the Fremont Country Club rock venue in Las Vegas. View the video HERE.

“Recording ‘Dirty Diana’ was a blast because it features the amazing abilities of my music partner, Lynn Sorensen,” says RONI. “Jennifer Batten played with us as a featured guest a few years back and one of the songs we played with her was ‘Dirty Diana.’ We kept the song with our style of rock and roll—and to this day, it is a featured track in our set.  We knew we would record it someday but capturing the ‘live’ excitement was a challenge.  I believe we met that challenge on this release.”

Roni Lee and Lynn Sorensen; Photo Credit: Lauren Fanucchi

GOOD 2 BE BAD was produced by Lynn Sorensen, who collaborates with RONI on the writing and arrangements. The EP also features the powerful drumming of Jorge Palacios, the haunting melodies of Sorensen on violin and bass and RONI delivers some of her best vocal and guitar work ever. As always, her melodies and lyrics reflect her life, experiences, and passion. The dynamic chemistry of this songwriting duo results in an electrifying energy, combining powerful vocals and masterful instrumentation into an unforgettable release.

“The EP is a reflection of my love for different rock styles and bands that have influenced me,” explains RONI.  “There are stories to be told in every song I write, and this release is not different.  The title track has some me dealing with some of my upbringing and I think it’s probably relatable to many.  I recently had an ‘awakening’ from some Ancestry information that sent me on a hunt for one of my parents.  This song is a fun way of releasing a little of that tension and understanding that life has its surprises.”

RONI will also co-present, with Rock ‘N’ Rolivia’s Rockin’ Rag, and perform on January 22 at the third annual Rooftop All Star Pre NAMM Jam 2025 in Anaheim, CA. It takes place at The 5ifth Rooftop Restaurant and Bar (Grand Legacy at the Park) across from the convention center. Doors are at 6pm and tickets are available HERE with limited upfront VIP seating (contact Jan Caselli at jancaselli@gmail.com).

“NAMM started as a way for music merchants to show their wares and network with buyers,” states RONI, “but as we all know, for decades it has really been a networking and worldwide meeting place for the ultimate users of all that gear.  The musicians!  NAMM has an amazing sense of community, and you can run into anyone from ‘a guy named Bob’ to Stevie Wonder!   Most of the time everyone is cool. With live performances everywhere at any time, it is a great place to interact, meet, and jam with people from all over the world.

“I’ve been hosting unofficial NAMM jams the day before opening for over a decade now,” she continues.  “We’ve really morphed into an amazing event usually held on the Wednesday prior. I always look forward to this jam and playing with some of my influences and heroes. I also look forward to performing at the convention itself on one of the many live music stages. Every year births a new NAMM story and I can’t wait to see how this one unfolds.”

Here’s the FEELS GOOD 2 BE BAD track listing:

Better Run – Writer: Roni Lee and Lynn Sorensen
Dirty Diana – Writer: Michael Jackson

Founding member and frontman of GRAMMY® Award-winning and multi-Platinum selling metal group MEGADETH, Dave Mustaine, alongside his family—Pamela Mustaine (President), Electra Mustaine (VP / Sommelier), and Justis Mustaine—have co-founded the visionary wine brand HOUSE OF MUSTAINE which uniquely blends music, culture, and fine winemaking. Read a Q&A with PAMELA and ELECTRA about forming and running HOUSE OF MUSTAINE below.

From its inception as a passion project to its evolution into a global wine destination, HOUSE OF MUSTAINE combines the artistry of winemaking with a deep respect for tradition, sustainability, and innovation. The Nashville, TN-based company, with vineyards in Italy and California, blends ancient practices with modern innovation by using purist techniques to develop unique and limited-edition wines, while also continuing their endeavors abroad by developing exceptional vineyard sites in undiscovered regions across the globe.

Later this month, HOUSE OF MUSTAINE WINE CLUB will celebrate with two local events in Nashville, TN:

● January 30: Join Electra and Pamela for a Marche Wine Dinner at the award-winning signature Italian restaurant, Yolan which includes a sparkling wine welcome reception and a five-course Marche-inspired tasting menu, specially designed around a selection of exceptional wines from HOUSE OF MUSTAINE’s Marche collection.

● February 22: In collaboration with Edible Nashville and the Frist Art Museum’s “Farm to Table” experience, celebrate the intersection of art, food, and wine with a five-course meal crafted by Edible Nashville’s executive chef, Skylar Bush, and special guest chef, Margot McCormack of Margot Cafe & Bar, paired with HOUSE OF MUSTAINE wines. This unique experience celebrates the intersection of art, food, and wine.

Look forward to additional events throughout the year including dinners with Locust Nashville and Heirloom Fire in Richmond, MA, which will design seasonal menus with curated HOUSE OF MUSTAINE wines.

HOUSE OF MUSTAINE WINE CLUB members will also have private access to once-in-a-lifetime trips across the globe with monthly luxury travel experiences being offered throughout 2025 starting with a February adventure to Thailand. The six-day trek will adventure through northern Thailand, blending high-energy outdoor activities (i.e. zip-lining, elephant safaris, white-water rafting) with authentic cultural and local culinary experiences, stays in unique luxury accommodations. March will feature a trip to London, UK where guests will be taken on a Murder Mystery Train adventure and a culinary tour, along with a selection of the Mustaine’s favorite must-do’s and restaurants. April will offer a trip to Morocco which includes camel trekking, a Moroccan food experience, and a hot air balloon ride. Additional trips will transpire throughout the remainder of the year including destinations such as Italy, France, Kenya, Ireland, Tennessee, Iceland, and more. Further details on these events will be announced in the coming weeks/months.

HOUSE OF MUSTAINE began with the 2013 Symphony Interrupted Cabernet Sauvignon which was inspired by MEGADETH’s groundbreaking collaboration with the San Diego Symphony. The Mustaine family has since expanded their portfolio to include ten small-batch, limited-edition wines grown in their sustainable vineyards across the globe. Each wine is a celebration of authenticity and artistry, named after one of Dave’s iconic songs and stamped with the Mustaine family crest. Just as every song has a story through its lyrics and melody, so does every wine through its culture and craftmanship. Each bottle is a statement making it just as bold, uncompromising, and unforgettable as the rock’n’roll legacy it was founded on. HOUSE OF MUSTAINE offers a flexible, subscription-based wine club that includes access to exclusive events and curated luxury travel experiences, first dibs on new releases, special pricing and access to all wines, and customizable monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual shipments of their current offerings. Find out more about HOUSE OF MUSTAINE WINE CLUB and join today HERE.

Q&A WITH PAMELA & ELECTRA MUSTAINE

What inspired the creation of House of Mustaine, and how does it reflect your family’s legacy and passions?

PAMELA: “The creation of House of Mustaine was born from a desire to blend our passions for music, culture, and travel with the timeless artistry of winemaking. Just as Dave pioneered a genre with Megadeth, we wanted to pioneer something new in the world of wine. This journey was inspired by a love of discovering rare, lesser-known varietals and sharing those experiences with others. Our family has always pushed boundaries, whether in music or in life, and House of Mustaine is a reflection of that spirit: rebellious, innovative, and dedicated to excellence. It’s not just about wine; it’s about capturing moments, stories, and history in every bottle. House of Mustaine is the sequel to our family’s legacy.”

What has been the most challenging aspect of growing a new business?

ELECTRA: “As newcomers–or more so outsiders–in an industry steeped in tradition, we’ve faced challenges at every turn. Sometimes, we bite off more than we can chew—whether it’s launching a wine club, building a new headquarters, or unveiling a new Italian project all in the same year. But coming from the music industry, we’re used to spinning a lot of plates. We don’t necessarily think like a traditional multi-generational wine family does, but maybe that gives us the freedom to ask, ‘Can we do this? It’s never been done…great, let’s try!’ Balancing innovation with respect for tradition while maintaining premium quality and sustainability is a constant challenge, but one we embrace wholeheartedly. We think big, even when we’re small, and that’s the essence of House of Mustaine.

As women, can you explain some of the challenges and highlights of building a brand?

PAMELA: “Building a brand in a traditionally male-dominated industry has had its moments. Two blonde American women navigating the ins and outs of a foreign country can seem treacherous, but we’ve learned that being underestimated can be a superpower. Electra’s journey to becoming a sommelier (and one of the youngest females) was driven by a desire to add to that superpower in gaining knowledge, establishing credibility, and honoring the craft authentically. Our family name comes with a legacy of resilience, and we embrace that. We are innately disruptors. We face challenges head-on, take big risks, and believe that authenticity, hard work, and a willingness to break the mold will always pave the way. At House of Mustaine, we let our wines—and our actions—speak for us.”

Can you recount one or two of your most memorable trips on behalf of the company?

ELECTRA: “Our adventures are never without a bit of chaos and laughter. If anyone is versed in navigating the unknown, it’s us! There was the time we got padlocked into our hotel room or when our GPS led us straight into a riverbed of an ancient borgho. A recent one that stands out is running out of gas in the Sibillini Mountains while hosting club members during harvest. In Italy, time is fluid, and we were racing to make it to a horseback riding experience. Let’s just say we learned the hard way that gas stations are scarce in most mountain ranges, especially certain types of gas. Picture us pleading with locals in broken Italian for fuel while the sun ticked down—somehow, we always manage to find a way. These experiences, potentially catastrophic to most, have given us stories that reflect the adventurous, unpredictable spirit of House of Mustaine.”

Are there any wine regions you would like to explore?

ELECTRA: “Absolutely! We’re passionate about uncovering the world’s hidden gems. Regions like Croatia, Portugal, and Eastern Spain are calling to us. Our mission is to shine a spotlight on these lesser-known varietals while preserving their authenticity. Travel has always been our source of joy and inspiration. We thought, ‘How can we bottle this up and share it?’ Wine became the answer—a time capsule of culture, history, and memory. For us, the journey of discovery never ends.”

As a family, how does that dynamic affect the day-to-day running of the business? Have any lessons or values from Dave’s career in music influenced the business?

PAMELA: “We each play a vital role and lean on each other: I orchestrate the vision and business management, Electra drives operations and innovation, Justis provides strategic insight, and Dave is the storyteller and lever that moves the gears. Lessons from the music industry are woven into our fabric—never rely on goodwill alone, always verify, and know that no one will care more than you. In wine, as in music, it’s all about the full package: quality, authenticity, and connection. Working as a family means it’s in our DNA to support each other, take risks, and keep the show going. After all, stars aren’t just talents—they’re the complete experience.”

For someone new to wine, what would you recommend as a first choice from the line?

ELECTRA: “I’d recommend starting with ‘Holy Wars’ Marche Rosso (Montepulciano)—because why not dive right in with the best? This full-bodied Italian red is perfectly balanced and smooth, without the potentially intimidating grippy tannins of a Cabernet Sauvignon or Sangiovese. It’s a serious wine, yet somehow still inviting and rich with layers of dark fruit and subtle spices. For something lighter and more playful, ‘She-Wolf’ Marche Rosato is your go-to. This rosé is a crowd-pleaser, loved by both men and women alike for its harmonious blend of crisp citrus, vibrant wild fruit, delicate floral notes, and a silky finish. Whether you’re in the mood for bold or breezy, these wines would offer a perfect introduction to the House of Mustaine experience.”

Can you describe what your workday looks like?

ELECTRA: “I typically start my day the earliest, with a morning routine that sets the tone: reading, mindfulness, and a workout to kick things off. From there, it’s a whirlwind of handling social media, product development, and supporting the sales teams on the front lines. Depending on the season, you’ll find her in the vineyards, at tastings, or managing the winery.

My mom starts her day with a cup of coffee and a Zoom meeting with our Italian team, managing winery construction, approving product development details, or strategizing long-term goals for our properties.

Our calendar is sprinkled with wine and food events, giving us the chance to socialize and share our passion, which can turn into incredible experiences for our club members. At the end of the day, we come together for a family dinner where we recap, unwind, and—let’s be real—the work often continues because it’s ingrained in our DNA. When you love what you do, work rarely feels like work.”

As a mother and daughter, how do you separate work and family life?

PAMELA: “There isn’t exactly a clear separation. Our love for travel, food, wine, and culture was our lifestyle before we launched House of Mustaine. Now, our job is to curate that same experience for others, and it brings us so much joy. The business reflects who we are, so it feels natural. Family is everything to us. The hardest part is when certain meetings or events don’t allow us to bring all six of us along. Sometimes you must divide and conquer, as they say. We have a deep respect for family businesses that have kept the craft alive for generations. We’re in this together, and that blend of family and business is what makes House of Mustaine so special.”

What is your favorite wine?

ELECTRA: “Here’s a rare moment: we both agree! Our favorites are Vernaccia, Wanderlust Pecorino (white), and the Holy Wars Marche Rosso (red). It all depends on the occasion, but we particularly love the shock factor of our Vernaccia. Each wine has its perfect place and occasion, as we’ve gotten more into wine we’ve been able to get out of our comfort zone and appreciate wines in a more cultural way. I suppose the Italians taught us that! Choosing one is like picking a favorite song—it all depends on the mood.”

What role does each family member play in the business?

ELECTRA: “Each of us brings something crucial to the table:

You could say I’m the solution-oriented engine, driving operations, product development, winemaking, and the creative elements.

My mom is the visionary, overseeing legal, estate management, and the business flow between the U.S. and Italy. She blends sharp business acumen with an eye for design.

My brother, Justis, is the navigator, providing strategic insight and collaborating with Dave on blending our roots into the equation (ie: inclusion ideas relating to the fans who’ve been our backbone or naming wines inspired by his legendary song titles.)

Dad—when not on tour or creating a Grammy Award-winning album—is the lever which brings it all to life. An essential player in hosting events, sharing dinners with our fans and clients, and creating meaningful connections through storytelling.

It’s truly a family affair. Each of us plays our part, and like in music, we know the show must go on. Our collective drive, creativity, and bond fuel House of Mustaine.”

THE GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING GUITARIST EXTRAORDINAIRE
IS NOW ON THE ROAD WITH
AN ARRAY OF NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES

TOMMY EMMANUEL is an acoustic guitarist extraordinaire, composer, global touring artist, and Grammy® Award winner. He’s also one of five people ever to be named a C.G.P. (Certified Guitar Player) by Chet Atkins, the great innovator, songwriter, producer, record company executive, and visionary.

Today (January 9), TOMMY has unveiled “Gdansk/Tall Fiddler,” two songs combined as one track from his upcoming album LIVE AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE (C.G.P. Sounds) that’s due out March 21. Listen to the track HERE and watch the live performance video, beautifully filmed by Bondi Rocks Media at the Sydney Opera House in his native Australia, HERE. Pre-order/pre-save the album HERE.

“Here’s an example of two songs that were written almost 20 years apart that fit quite nicely together,” says TOMMY. “One was written in Poland and the other backstage at a bluegrass festival. What a crazy world we all live in!”

The release of “Gdansk/Tall Fiddler” follows the 16-track album’s first offering last year, “The Jolly Swagman.” “I wrote ‘The Jolly Swagman’ for an imaginary character,” says TOMMY, “who makes us all happy by clicking his heels in the air while playing the concertina!!”

EMMANUEL is no stranger to iconic stages from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium to London’s Royal Festival Hall and Paris’ L’Olympia. The legendary entertainer has dazzled audiences across the world. But there’s something truly magical about the Sydney Opera House, and the magic of his sold-out performances there has finally been captured on this new EMMANUEL-produced album. It features 16 tracks, four of which are medleys, including his famous “Beatles Medley” (a previous live version of this has been viewed more than 2 million times on YouTube).

“The moment and power in these hours spent playing music, is perfectly preserved here on this record,” says TOMMY. “I hope you can feel the intensity of our musical and spiritual relationship… a bond built on a life freely given to all.”

He played two spellbinding shows on the Concert Hall stage in May 2023, with the best of both performances represented here. The setlist showcases the most beloved songs of TOMMY’s career—classic compositions like “Tall Fiddler,” “Mombasa,” and “Country Wide,” recent fan favorites like “Fuel” and “Sail On,” his now iconic arrangement of “Classical Gas,” and his thrilling “Beatles Medley.”

“As a 15-year-old boy living in Circular Quay, I spent many a time walking past the Opera House,” he says. “I would daydream about what it must be like in there, what it would be like to perform there. After fifty years in the business, we finally got there!”

“Playing the shows for this recording was a dream come true for me,” TOMMY adds. “I felt so ready! I was surrounded by my team of brilliant people, and I was looking into the faces of so many loving and happy fans in the concert Hall. The momentum and power in these hours spent playing music, is perfectly captured and preserved here on this record. I hope you can feel the intensity of our musical and spiritual relationship…a bond built on a life freely given to all.”

A noted fingerstyle guitarist, EMMANUEL frequently threads three different parts simultaneously into his material, operating as a one-man band who handles the melody, the supporting chords and the bass all at once. You can hear his wizardry captured brilliantly on LIVE AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE.

Here’s the album’s track listing:

  1. Countrywide
  2. Fuel
  3. The Jolly Swagman
  4. Deep River Blues
    -Doc’s Guitar
    -Blue Smoke

ABOUT TOMMY EMMANUEL:

TOMMY EMMANUEL has achieved enough musical milestones to satisfy several lifetimes. At the age of six, the Grammy® Award winner was touring regional Australia with his family band. By 30, he was a rock n’ roll lead guitarist burning up stadiums in Europe. At 44, he became one of five people ever named a C.P.G. (Certified Guitar Player) by his idol, music icon Chet Atkins. Today, he plays hundreds of sold-out shows every year from Nashville to Sydney to London. He’s piled up numerous accolades, including two Grammy Award nominationstwo ARIA Awards from the Australian Recording Industry Association (the Aussie equivalent of the Recording Academy); repeated honors in the Guitar Player magazine reader’s poll including a cover story for their August 2017 issue; a cover feature for Vintage Guitar’s July 2020 issue; and was Music Radar’s reader’s poll #1 winner of the Ten Best Acoustic Guitarists in The World (December 2019). He has also earned the “Lifetime Achievement” Award from The National GUITAR Museum. A noted fingerstyle guitarist, EMMANUEL frequently threads three different parts simultaneously into his material, operating as a one-man band who handles the melody, the supporting chords and the bass all at once. His talents, which translate in any language, carry him to the far corners of the globe, but EMMANUEL never plays the same show twice, and he improvises big chunks of every date. That leaves him open to those technical imperfections, though they also provide some of the humanity to an other-worldly talent.

ROCK AND ROLL GALLERY celebrates its 25th anniversary this year by today (January 8) debuting an exclusive interview with photographer Neal Preston, one of the most renowned and celebrated figures in the history of rock ‘n’ roll photography. In this candid conversation, available via the platform’s “Shot Talk” YouTube channel, Preston dives into his remarkable career, from his early days in New York to becoming the official photographer for legends like Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, and many others. See select quotes from the Preston interview below and view it here: HERE.

Titled “A Portrait of Neal Preston,” this rare 40-minute-plus interview offers fans and photography enthusiasts an unprecedented look behind the scenes of rock’s most iconic moments. Preston shares never-before-heard anecdotes, insights into his creative process, and reflections on the evolution of music photography. Viewers will also be treated to never-before-seen images that highlight the electrifying energy of some of the greatest superstars in rock history.

Throughout his illustrious career, Preston has had unparalleled access to the biggest names in music, capturing everything from intimate backstage moments to legendary live performances. His images have come to define rock and roll itself, and now, through this exclusive interview, fans can hear firsthand about his journey.

“We are honored to present this exclusive interview with Neal Preston, whose work has immortalized some of the most defining moments in music history,” said Chris Vranian, founder of Rock and Roll Gallery. “Via his engaging storytelling, this interview reveals the incredible depth of Preston’s career, from the 70s heyday to today.”

Recalls Preston about how he got to work with Led Zeppelin in 1975: “I was asked, do you still want that job with Led Zeppelin, I said yeah, and he (Danny Goldberg) said ‘get ready to go to Chicago!’ The Rolling Stones got all the press…meanwhile Led Zeppelin is eating The Rolling Stones for lunch every day…saw them both in 75 and Rolling Stones were nothing compared to Led Zeppelin.”

How to be a photographer on the road? “There was no instruction manual on how to deal with this job,” explains Preston. “Don’t act like you’re in the band because you are not. If you act like you’re in the band, the thing slipped under your door is a one-way ticket home—it ain’t going to be the room list for tomorrow.”

Looking back at his work with Queen—especially their 1985 “Live Aid” performance—Preston says: “I’m up there with Queen…and I didn’t know it was going to be the most famous 25-minute gig in history!” He adds: “Freddie Mercury’s favorite thing in the world was being Freddie Mercury!”

Rock and Roll Gallery is a one-stop online photographic wonderland for classic rock lovers, offering a treasure trove of iconic images and limited-edition prints. With the tagline “What Music Looked Like,” Rock and Roll Gallery brings together the best in music and photography, providing a visual celebration of rock’s history. Vranian calls it a place where “the History Channel meets the Biography Channel at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”

Rock and Roll Gallery has also announced a contest in which one lucky entrant will win an 11 x 14 Neal Preston Queen print valued at $800.00. By “liking” and subscribing to the “Shot Talk” YouTube channel, participants can enter the contest and indicate in the comments section what their favorite Preston photo is and why. Neal will choose the winner based on what he thinks is the best response. The winner will be picked next month, on February 14, and will be notified by email from “Shot Talk.”
