GREGORIAN—“The World’s Most Successful Choir”—have today (September 8) released the second single, GREGORIAN ft. Narcis – “Pie Jesu,” from their forthcoming new album PURE CHANTS I out September 29 on BMG. The new album features mainly classical choral works and hymns plus some folk and pop favorites (full track listing below). GREGORIAN’s take on the historic Latin hymn features Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music and was produced by GREGORIAN brainchild and founder and owner of Nemo-Studios and omeN-Publishing Frank Peterson. “This is Gregorian’s haunting Pure Chants version of one of the world’s most beautiful melodies: Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Pie Jesu,’’’ Frank Peterson says. “This piece is so delicate and pure that it was a challenge to re-arrange it for a choir. Narcis helped us with his glorious soprano voice to keep the angelic vibe of this timeless classic piece. I am absolutely proud of it, and it is one of my favorite production works of my career. Interestingly, in 1985, Sarah Brightman received a Grammy nomination for her original version of the song. It was a rare occasion for a religious classical song–sung in Latin–to reach the Top-3 on the single-charts in the U.K.”

Today (September 8), 3x-Grammy-nominated and gold-certified rock act NOTHING MORE release the deluxe version of their critically acclaimed 2022 album SPIRITS via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. SPIRITS–DELUXE VERSION features six bonus tracks including three live recordings—the first-ever live releases from the group—captured from their sold-out headlining concert at Irving Plaza in New York, New York. There’s also an EDM remix of “TIRED OF WINNING” by AHEE & Cymek and two previously released updated singles including “BEST TIMES” featuring Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf. “This is our first-ever, OFFICIAL release, of live recordings from an electric night in NYC,” says frontman JONNY HAWKINS. “The relationship we have with our fans is exceptional and the energy from that night really shines through the recordings. “‘FACE IT’ illustrates a very similar narrative to the amazing story ‘Life of Pi’ by Yann Matel,” elaborates HAWKINS. “There are times in our lives when we need to let our dark passenger take control so we can ‘Face It.’ Just like when Pi becomes the tiger when survival is on the line. It’s a pumped up, epic anthem designed to give one the courage to silence their inner angel in order to face their demons; to call on the shadow from the bitter side of truth because the reality is that we are all angels and animals. That’s what makes us human. We are not one or the other, but rather both simultaneously and we know this transformation can’t rely on anyone but ourselves.

Tonight (September 8), NOTHING MORE will kick off the second leg of their “SPIRITS 2023” headlining tour in Nashville, TN with support from DEAD POET SOCIETY, HYRO THE HERO (rap-rocker and Better Noise Music labelmate), and POST PROFIT. The Live Nation-produced tour stretches until September 25 and will see “Best Times” guest vocalist Lacey Sturm (Flyleaf) join as direct support on the September 14 show in Dallas, TX at The Factory. Los Angeles-based alt-pop duo Good Rzn—Josie Molasky (vocalist/songwriter) and Tommy Ghirardini (guitarist/producer)—have announced the October 20 release of their debut EP FALLING IN SLOW MOTION. Emblematic of their brand of alternative and psychedelic pop, seen through a lens of rock and electronic music, is the EP’s newly released lead single “Running Out Of Time.” The emotionally urgent song is marked by a kaleidoscopic blend of Molasky’s alluring vocals, Ghirardini bold guitar licks, wavy synthesizers, and hard-hitting drums. Since first releasing music in the fall of 2021, Good Rzn have created a cutting-edge style. The pair’s current catalogue has allowed them to showcase their talents performing at multiple shows including Breaking Sound, Writer’s Block, and WFNM in Los Angeles and PB Avenue in San Diego. Upcoming shows include the Lost Lake Lounge in Denver on Sunday, September 17 and at Fergusons Downtown in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 7.

On the Good Rzn-produced FALLING IN SLOW MOTION, they paint the positives and negatives of life as an epic roller coaster ride. The five-track EP gives insight into the feelings the two artists have experienced in their past few years living in Los Angeles. Each song dives into different components of the factors that have influenced the pair since moving to Southern California from Boulder, CO.

“We wanted this collection of music to represent a specific time period of our artistic journey,” says Good Rzn. “We’ve had a lot of amazing moments, but there were also struggles along the way. The creation of these pieces helped us find peace in expressing ourselves and hope it might do the same for our listeners.”

Globally acclaimed Mongolian rock outfit THE HU will bring their warrior anthems and galvanizing live performance to audiences along the West Coast later this fall. Today (August 30), the group announced a headlining run of dates following the completion of their co-headlining U.S. “Psycho Thunder” tour with Asking Alexandria from August 30 until October 8. The headlining “Warrior Souls” US tour begins October 9 in San Francisco with support TBA and stretches until its final stop on October 26 in Phoenix, AZ. Throughout both tours, THE HU will perform a full 65-minute set showcasing their viral hit singles from their two Better Noise Music albums: 2019’s THE GEREG and 2022’s RUMBLE OF THUNDER, in addition to giving attendees a first listen to previously unheard new music. Tickets for the “Warrior Souls” tour go on sale this Friday, September 1 at 10:00 A.M. local time HERE.

THE HU have also announced plans to release a new music video for RUMBLE OF THUNDER’s somber yet anthemic track “Sell The World” in the coming weeks via Better Noise Music. He co-founded the # 1 Thai-American hip-hop group Thaitanium who’ve released multiple chart-topping albums over their 23-year career and garnered global success. BRIAN SETZER hits hard with his new single, the red-hot “The Devil Always Collects,” released today (August 25). Written by SETZER and frequent collaborator Mike Himelstein, it marks the title track of his new album of the same name out September 15 on Surfdog Records digitally, on CD and vinyl. The iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and three-time Grammy Award-winner burns up the frets of his instrument over an insistent, galloping rhythm and digs into his vocals with urgency and frankness while singing the lines: “You bargained for pleasure/Fame, fortune, and sex/Pay back!
