“Rest In Pieces” is an irresistibly heavy, dark and melodic song, marking the start of the next chapter in THE RASMUS’ sonic evolution with a sense of fearless bravado and world-conquering intensity. Its hard-hitting and unapologetic lyrics stem from a place of anger and betrayal. Founder, frontman, and lead singer-songwriter Lauri Ylönen shares: “This all started very organically, the story behind the music is that I was betrayed by a friend. I was sad and pissed off at the same time. I wanted to channel my frustration into the music and create what I call a ‘f*ck you song’ for revenge.”

“That’s usually the best thing for any artist or creator to do in that situation,” he continues. “You take the emotion and turn it into something powerful. There’s an impulse that comes through and you find the strength to capture it in the form of music to make art. It might seem negative at first, but I wanted this song to also feel empowering to anyone who hears it. There’s that uplifting thing that we do. I would say ‘Rest In Pieces’ is very positive amongst all the intensity.”

[Las Vegas, NV – Thursday, October 24, 2024] Multi-Platinum and Billboard record-setting hard rock powerhouse, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have donated $200k from a portion of ticket sales from their massively successful headlining arena and amphitheater North American tour this past Summer/Fall. The funds will be split between two charities handpicked by Ivan Moody and Zoltan Bathory.

Ivan chose Covenant House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless, trafficked, and exploited youth and young families, in support of Youth Homelessness Awareness Month in November. With 34 locations across the Americas, Covenant House’s mission is to provide shelter, support, and comprehensive services to youth facing homelessness. Highlighting this issue, Five Finger Death Punch leveraged their platform by including facts and resources for the cause in the music video for their 2023 single “Judgement Day” – Watch it HERE. An acoustic version of the song is available as a bonus track on the digital deluxe edition of AFTERLIFE, alongside acoustic renditions of “The End,” “Thanks for Asking” and “This is the Way” (feat. DMX), marking the late rappers first No. 1 at Rock Radio.

Taking his commitment even further, he has established his own Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), ‘Ciara Coral’, in Cheyenne, WY, dedicated to guiding and assisting addicts throughout the process of recovery and helping them regain control of their lives.

Zoltan chose to support the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization that helps veterans find high-quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value that veterans bring to the workplace. His connection to this charity was forged when he was featured as a character—an in-game operator named Oz—in two Call Of Duty® games: “Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II” and “Call of Duty®: Warzone™.”

Finnish rockers THE RASMUS formed 30 years ago, led by founding frontman and songwriter Lauri Ylönen, immediately inked a major label deal after the release of their first EP in 1995. The band’s fifth album Dead Letters solidified them as a global force, achieving 8 Gold and 6 Platinum certifications with over 2 million copies sold worldwide and breaking the record for performance royalties received abroad on a Finnish composition. Its lead single “In The Shadows” received 6x Gold and 2x Platinum certifications, selling over 1 million copies and was nominated for Kerrang! Awards “Best Single” in 2004. On the live front, CHAPEL HART continue to wow audiences around the world. Beyond recent performances in the U.S., the female country music trio visited the UK for a knockout performance at the Long Road Festival as well as two independent sold-out shows. They also left an indelible impression on the sold-out audiences of Country Night Gstaad in Gstaad, Switzerland where they opened for Little Big Town before returning to the U.S. for additional shows leading up to their Hartfelt Family Christmas shows. In addition, the group will head to Asia in November for five dates in Japan performing for U.S. military troops. British rock luminaries ASKING ALEXANDRIA today (October 18) have released a digital EP featuring remixed versions of popular tracks from their acclaimed 2023 album WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? via Better Noise Music. The band shared two of the EP’s songs in September including the fan-favorite track “Bad Blood” which was remixed by the record-breaking Indonesian DJ group Weird Genius (who broke Spotify’s record for the #1 longest charting local song on Spotify Indonesia’s Top 50 charts in 2020) and a sci-fi themed music video for the album’s third most highest streaming track, “Let Go,” remixed by up-and-coming LA-based producer kodeblooded.

THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS—lead vocalist, guitarist and founding member Ronnie Winter, his multi-instrumentalist brother Randy Winter, guitarist Josh Burke, bassist Joey Westwood, drummer John Esp, and touring keyboardist Nadeem Salam, — have today released a new recording of their previously unreleased song “Home Improvement.” “Home Improvement” was one of the band’s “lost” tracks which were originally recorded prior to the sessions for their debut album but didn’t make the cut and have only existed as demos found on YouTube. These songs, along with new material, will be released on their new album due in Spring of 2025 via Better Noise Music.

Ronnie elaborates: “In 2004, as a local, unsigned band out of Jacksonville, Florida, we recorded a batch of demos that we posted on social media and passed around everywhere we could, later these were known to fans as our self-titled album. This led to our first major label signing in fall of 2005. We wasted little time getting into the studio to give these songs a fresh new recording and that became the basis for our now 2X Platinum-certified debut album ‘Don’t You Fake It.’ Some of these songs didn’t make the cut due to studio time, album length, and whatnot. Over the years with file trading and YouTube, these demos found their way across the internet and became fan favorites in their own right, and became known as ‘The Lost Songs.’ Fans traded and would beg us to release them, as they were never officially released on streaming platforms.”

“What’s old is new again,” Winters announces. “We have reteamed with many of those involved with ‘Don’t You Fake It’ for our upcoming album and we’re stoked to finally officially release a new recording of ‘Home Improvement’—a song about heartache and the ambivalence of love. It’s been one of the most requested of ‘The Lost Songs’ and will be released digitally for the first time-ever through our new record label, Better Noise Music.
