“NO ONE’S GONNA BREAK THIS HEART (AGAIN)”

Multiplatinum alternative rock band THE VERVE PIPE have spent the past 25+ years acquiring global acclaim while continuously building their legacy with radio hit songs including the iconic 1997 #1 smashing single “The Freshmen,” “Photograph,” “Hero,” and “Never Let You Down,” plus the favored track “Colorful” which was featured in the 2001 feature film Rock Star. Founder/lead singer and main songwriter BRIAN VANDER ARK has returned with a refreshed energy bringing on youthful co-writer and backing vocalist CHANNING LEE on the band’s first new album in four years, THREADS, scheduled for release on November 5 (CD & digital), March 11 (vinyl).

THE VERVE PIPE are also excited to reveal the first listen to THREAD’s debut single, “No One’s Gonna Break This Heart (Again),” with an exclusive premiere via the band’s SoundCloud. Listen now at this link: https://soundcloud.com/thevervepipe/the-verve-pipe-no-ones-gonna-break-this-heart-again

“No One’s Gonna Break This Heart (Again)” will be available to stream/download across all digital platforms on Friday, September 17.

“This song is about how we overprotect ourselves,” shares VANDER ARK about the single’s meaning. “It’s about the armor that we wear after a particularly bad breakup. We deny ourselves the opportunity to fall in love again, fearful we will relive the pain. And yet it can’t be helped. Love happens again and again, until we finally get it right.”

VANDER ARK further comments on how the concept behind THREADS came together stating: “The inspiration for the album started when we learned of an old Japanese legend that said we all hold one end of a red thread of fate. It symbolizes the thin artery that originates in the heart. It flows down to the hand and then out into the metaphysical world. These threads are connected to other people who will have an important story in each other’s lives. They stretch and bend; they never break.”

“We also wanted to explore the concept of fate—what can be comforting can also be confining.” VANDER ARK continues to ask, “How do we know if fate is something we wait to find us, or something we create for ourselves?”

“The symbolism of Threads weaves in and out of each song, as we tell these stories that make up the good and bad of our lives – love, heartbreak, abuse, addiction, hope, revenge and that constant yearning for the unknown.

And our stories continue. We feel the constant pull of our threads, from our hearts through our hands. It is what keeps us forever reaching.”

THREADS Track Listing:

1. Forever Reaching
2. The Witching Hour
3. No One’s Gonna Break This Heart (Again)
4. Save Me
5. Set Me On Fire
6. Found
7. What Might Have Been

9. First Fire of the Winter

Accomplice Series Vol. 2 EP Cover

Acclaimed and Grammy®-nominated acoustic guitarist, singer and songwriter TOMMY EMMANUEL—one of five people ever named a CPG (Certified Guitar Player) by his idol, music icon Chet Atkins—today (September 10) has shared the single + video for Nashtownville.” It’s the third release from his four-song EP ACCOMPLICE SERIES VOL. 2 featuring Richard Smith, out today, September 10. The video was premiered yesterday (September 9) at Glide, which noted: “Emmanuel and Smith play off each other seamlessly creating an enrapturing acoustic duet that sounds bigger than its parts. With his nimble fingers, Emmanuel continues to up the ante, playing one note towards the vintage groundbreakers and another in his own influential present—’Nashtownville’ is no exception.” Listen to the EP, a tribute to their heroes Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins, at all streaming platforms here.

Richard Smith is the revered British fingerpicking guitarist who has performed or recorded along the way with Chet Atkins, Les Paul and Tommy Emmanuel, among others. The EP, a tribute to their heroes Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins, also contains “Serenade to Summertime” “Twitchy,” and “Baby’s Coming Home.”

“Nashtownville” was originally written by Chet Atkins and appears on the Jerry Reed & Chet Atkins album, ‘Me & Chet.’ Tommy and Richard’s interpretation of it, along with the other songs on their EP, was recorded at TuneSmith Studio outside of Nashville, TN in the spring of 2021. The video was filmed at the Chet Atkins statue in downtown Nashville, TN on the corner of Fifth Avenue North and Union Street. It was directed by Joshua Britt and Neilson Hubbard for Neighborhoods Apart Productions (The Killers, Lilly Hiatt, John Prine) and features many special guests such as Mark Pritcher (from Chet Atkins Appreciation Society), Annie Sellick, Pat Bergeson, John Knowles (fellow CGP), Stuie French, and a few more of Tommy and Richard’s friends. The police officer is played by Richard Smith’s wife, (versatile cellist) Julie Adams.

In other news, Tommy and Richard will tour together this fall starting October 12. The dates are listed here: https://tommyemmanuel.com/tour/.

Richard is also on Tommy’s Guitar Camp in Nashville, which takes place September 23-27 at the Virgin Hotel: https://tommyemmanuelguitarcampusa.com/

Here’s a Q&A with Tommy and Richard about “Nashtownville” and the EP:

Q&A WITH
TOMMY EMMANUEL AND RICHARD SMITH
ABOUT THE NEWLY RELEASED EP
‘TOMMY EMMANUEL ACCOMPLICE SERIES VOL. 2 FEATURING RICHARD SMITH’

TOMMY EMMANUEL:

—There’s so much joyous guitar work on the EP. How did this collaboration with Richard come about and how did you guys first meet?

TOMMY: I heard about Richard through other players at the Chet Atkins events in Nashville, and when we first met up, we played until we were exhausted! I had found someone I could have the best time playing all the music I loved from my childhood and who had a similar attitude and energy!

—What are your thoughts about Richard’s playing and what do you feel you both artistically have achieved with this recording?

TOMMY: Richard and I both approached these recordings with a deep respect for our heroes. We added our own ideas but kept the authenticity of the original recordings present. We played these songs with much love and joy!  Richard’s knowledge and abilities to channel Jerry Reed’s parts is what is most important to me, as I trusted him completely. When you stay close to Chet and Jerry’s parts, you can’t help but make great music, well written!

—The arrangement here for “Serenade to Summertime” comes from the Jerry Reed & Chet Atkins album, ‘Me & Chet.’ Perfect, because you both have a strong connection to Chet. Can you talk about why this song resonates with you?

TOMMY: “Serenade” is a typical melodic piece that Chet would have chosen to showcase his tenderness in a musical setting. Richard really stayed close to Jerry’s perfectly honed part as the accompanist and I tried to perform the song without too many frills or embellishments, just heart and feeling…

—“Twitchy” was written by Jerry Reed and performed by Chet Atkins and Reed. Why do you find this song inspirational?

TOMMY: “Twitchy” is such a great composition–you get the feeling it’s been around forever. It’s also one of the great duets that only Jerry could write to have Chet play the melody and he works all the harmony around it and plays a solo as well. We’ve played it for audiences a thousand times and hope we can play it another thousand times!

—”Nashtownville” was written by Chet Atkins and appears on the Jerry Reed & Chet Atkins album, ‘Me & Chet.’ What drew you to take this song on?

TOMMY: “Nashtownville” is a Chet composition and we both love its simplicity, yet, how strong it is, musically. Chet was a wonderful writer, and this song proves that. It’s two and a half minutes of pure MOJO!

—“Baby’s Coming Home” was written by Jerry Reed, and Chet Atkins recorded it for his ‘Chet Atkins Picks on Jerry Reed’ album. What quality does this song have that attracted you to record it?

TOMMY: “Baby’s Coming Home” is a wonderful song that is perfect for harmonies and solo sections that give the player and the listener everything they’re looking for!

—It’s exciting news that the two of you will tour together this November in America (having done shows in the past). What are you most looking forward to about this tour?

TOMMY: Playing this music to new audiences everywhere is such a joy, as most people haven’t seen players recreate these songs in front of them. It’s entertaining, surprising, and uplifting! When you are in the entertainment business, like us, you have a big desire to take people out of their normal existence and surprise them into another realm–music like this is your magic wand!

RICHARD SMITH

—There’s so much joyous guitar work on the EP. How did this collaboration with Tommy come about and how did you guys first meet?

RICHARD: Tommy asked me a while ago if I would like to do this tribute to Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed as part of his “Accomplice” series.  Of course, I had to do it!  Like Tommy, I’ve been playing their music all my life.  We both grew up on it. I first met Tommy back in 1996. He had played at a festival in France with the great Bay Area guitarist, Jim Nichols, who told him about me. I was living in England, where he had recently moved to, and he called up and came out to my family home. We jammed for hours that night.

—What are your thoughts about Tommy’s playing and what do you feel you both artistically have achieved with this recording?

RICHARD: Tommy has such an impeccable groove and such a personal touch and feel to his playing that has come about from listening to so many different musicians over the years. Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed were two very earlyiest influences for him. To pay tribute to these guys and play the tunes we grew up listening to, and put our own little stamp on them, felt like going full circle. This music is like mashed potatoes to both of us. It’s just so ingrained, that playing it is like falling off a log. You bring yourself and other influences into it, which just kind of happens naturally.

—The arrangement here for “Serenade to Summertime” comes from the Jerry Reed & Chet Atkins album, ‘Me & Chet.’ Perfect, because you both have a strong connection to Chet. Can you talk about why this song resonates with you?

RICHARD: On the original recording, Chet used a Del Vecchio resonator guitar. That instrument has a particularly beautiful tone and sustain. Tommy captures that beautifully with his Maton acoustic. That recording was probably the first time I’d ever heard that guitar sound. Jerry Reed’s back-up part is a huge part of the sound of that song.  The kind of rolling chords he used and the inversions he used were so beautifully constructed. Listening to it just takes me back to my childhood and when I first heard it.

—“Twitchy” was written by Jerry Reed and performed by Chet Atkins and Reed. Why do you find this song inspirational?

RICHARD: I think that tune is probably my favorite thumb-picking tune. It has such a great groove and such a simple melody. To me, it’s one of those tunes that just sounds like it grew there, like no one wrote it, and like it has just always existed. Those are the great songs to me. Songs and tunes that have melodies and chord structures that sound so obvious that you think “Of course! Why didn’t I think of that?” Another tune we both grew up on. It is also a pure duet. No band.

—”Nashtownville” was written by Chet Atkins and appears on the Jerry Reed & Chet Atkins album, ‘Me & Chet.’ What drew you to take this song on?

RICHARD: It was just another great song from that album that was addictive listening. As a student of the guitar and the music, you want to learn everything. It’s another one of those songs that any guitar player who had that album would have had a go at.

—“Baby’s Coming Home” was written by Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins recorded it for his ‘Chet Atkins Picks on Jerry Reed’ album. What quality does this song have that attracted you to record it?

RICHARD: This is one of those tunes that every thumb-picker knows. A real standard among that crowd. Another simple melody with a great groove. These tunes are not known to the mainstream crowds, but there are guitar pickers dotted around all over the world  that will come out of the woodwork to meet like-minded folks at concerts or festivals and get together and play these kinds of tunes from records they all had. When I was at school, there wasn’t another kid in my school or any other local school that was listening to this stuff that I knew of. I’m sure it was the same for Tommy. But!!.. There were players out there. These records weren’t getting airplay like pop records, but there were a select few pickers out there buying these records. There must have been, or RCA would never have invested in putting more and more out there. You wonder who those people are, and where they are out there. When you meet them, it’s always great because you realize you were not alone in your pursuits and thirst for learning this music that was so obscure that it seemed like you were the only one listening to it.  At least, as a kid, that’s how it felt.  Playing these tunes with Tommy is always special.  We’d played all of them together over the years many times either jamming or on shows or festivals. I never get tired of playing them and I can feel that with Tommy, too.

—It’s exciting news that the two of you will tour together this November in America (having done shows in the past). What are you most looking forward to about this tour?

RICHARD: Oh yeah! Always a blast playing shows with Tommy. Playing the music, of course, is what I look forward to most, but being out west, too. AZ and TX.  I love the desert, you know. In certain places, I feel like I’m on Mars, or in a scene from the original “Planet of the Apes” movie.  Meeting new people, going to different places, or back to some of your favorite places. So many folks I’ve met think being on the road is such a tough life. To me, it’s like being on vacation and instead of living in one place, you kind of get to live everywhere. It’s a beautiful thing. Living everywhere, seeing so many places, doing what you love, and playing your favorite music with one of your all-time favorite musicians and people?  It makes me giddy. I can’t wait.

ABOUT TOMMY EMMANUEL:

TOMMY EMMANUEL has achieved enough musical milestones to satisfy several lifetimes. At the age of six, he was touring regional Australia with his family band. By 30, he was a rock n’ roll lead guitarist burning up stadiums in Europe. At 44, he became one of five people ever named a CPG (Certified Guitar Player) by his idol, music icon Chet Atkins. Today, he plays hundreds of sold-out shows every year from Nashville to Sydney to London. He’s piled up numerous accolades, including two Grammy Award nominationstwo ARIA Awards from the Australian Recording Industry Association (the Aussie equivalent of the Recording Academy); repeated honors in the Guitar Player magazine reader’s poll including a cover story for their August 2017 issue; a cover feature for Vintage Guitar’s July 2020 issue; and was Music Radar’s reader’s poll #1 winner of the Ten Best Acoustic Guitarists in The World (December 2019). A noted fingerstyle guitarist, EMMANUEL frequently threads three different parts simultaneously into his material, operating as a one-man band who handles the melody, the supporting chords and the bass all at once. His talents, which translate in any language, carry him to the far corners of the globe, but EMMANUEL never plays the same show twice, and he improvises big chunks of every date. That leaves him open to those technical imperfections, though they also provide some of the humanity to an other-worldly talent. On May 8, 2020, he released a newly recorded career-spanning double album, THE BEST OF TOMMYSONGS, via CGP Sounds/Cruzen Street Records). Hard rock heralders PISTOLS AT DAWN bring their “high energy, hard-charging approach to rock n’ roll” (V13) full force in the haunting music video for “Gone Black.” The single is taken from their recent self-released debut EP NOCTURNAL YOUTH, recorded with producer Jeff Tomei (Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox 20) and mastered by lauded engineer Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More). NOCTURNAL YOUTH’s first single “Voices” received over 1 million video views within the first month of release, while additional videos for singles “Cold,” “Gauntlet,” and “Crown” have amassed 6 million combined views across all platforms.

The “Gone Black” music video, premiered earlier this week via V13 in North America and Midlands Metalheads Radio in the UK, comes just in time for the start of fall and Halloween season as it features haunting makeup and SFX from Shane Morton of Silver Scream FX Lab (Adult Swim’s ‘Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell,’ ‘Mandy’). Watch “Gone Black” below or at this link: http://smarturl.it/StreamNocturnalYouth.

“‘Gone Black’ is about people who cause their own misery,” explains the band on the track’s meaning. “They are living their lives stagnant while thinking they are living right, all the while sinking into their own arrogance and/or ignorance and following a perpetual cycle. It leaves them with nothing every time.”

“Working with Shane Morton at Silver Scream FX Lab is like working with Picasso,” the band shares. “He’s an absolute guru that executes his vision with such ease and care that one minute you are human and the next you are a real creature of the netherworld. We loved being transformed into our black light beings! Filming ‘Gone Black’ is definitely one of the coolest video production experiences we have ever had.”

PISTOLS AT DAWN was originally formed in Atlanta, GA in 2015 but disintegrated after the tragic passing of guitarist Mike Buffa in 2018.  The band reformed in 2019 with founding members, drummer Adam Jaffe, guitarist Devin White and bassist Billy Sullivan, while adding Tommy Richardson on guitars and VH1 Rockstar Supernova finalist Chris Pierson on vocals. The band is currently completing tracking their debut full length LP, to be be mixed by Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of A Down) and will be released in early 2022.

See the band perform live at one of their upcoming ‘Thank You & F**K Covid’ free concert series in Atlanta and NYC, with additional stops being added soon. The group will also be featured as part of Rock 100.5’s ‘Rock The Bank’ Holiday Benefit Concert’ in Atlanta. A current list of upcoming appearances is as follows:

Hollywood-based rock outfit BUDDERSIDE are excited to kick off the holiday weekend with a brand-new track, “Voices,” the first single taken from their forthcoming as-yet-untitled third album due in 2022 via OneRPM. Produced by Matt Good (Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead, Butcher Babies), “Voices”—described by vocalist Patrick Stone (ex-Adler’s Appetite)—“is a farewell to this realm and an invitation to the next.” It was written by the band as a collective unit and sees the group venture into uncharted space with its anthemic hooks and riveting melodies. Out today (9/3), “Voices” is available across all digital streaming platforms HERE. Watch the animated lyric video, illustrated by Pablo Conde, streaming below.

BUDDERSIDE will bring their fervent live performance to crowds at Rocklahoma this Sunday, September 5, giving fans the first listen to new material in addition to playing singles from their recent album SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE, released earlier this year via Motörhead Music/Silver Lining Music. Previously the band have been seen on stages across the U.S. with heavy hitters including Slayer, Anthrax, L.A. Guns and Motörhead, as well as appearing at major worldwide music festivals including Wacken Open Air (Germany), Malmö Festival (Sweden), Motörhead’s Motörboat and Monsters Of Rock cruise.

BUDDERSIDE was formed by STONE following his departure from Adler’s Appetite under the guidance of his mentor and close friend, the late Motörhead front man Lemmy Kilmister. He later enlisted a band of skilled musicians including guitarists Logan Nikolic and Sam “Bam” Koltun (Faster Pussycat, Dorothy), bassist Gabe Maska (currently appearing as Kurt Cobain in the Las Vegas 27 Show) and drummer Jeff Dewbray. Their recent sophomore album SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE was released on March 26 via Motörhead Music/Silver Lining Music. It was recorded with legendary producer Jay Baumgardner (Bush, Godsmack, Papa Roach) and mastered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage), with guest collaborations from vocalist Carla Harvey (Butcher Babies) and guitarist Phil Campbell (Motörhead).

SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE revealed STONE’s journey of overcoming addiction, loss and heartbreak to finding resurrection with patience, perseverance and meditation. Its extravagant cinematic music videos, including the Tokyo-filmed “Zen,” and animated “Pardon Me (ft. Phil Campbell), were lauded as finalists and official selections at several independent film festivals (LA Film Awards, Virgin Spring Cinefest).

Most recently, the band received praise from fans and critics for their Mongolian rendition of Metallica’s “Sad But True” (as part of Better Noise’s “15 Years of Rock” series), which Metallica themselves acknowledged on their social media accounts and enlisted them to be part of their upcoming Special 30th Anniversary ‘Black Album’ Reissue Covers Project, with a cover of the iconic song “Through The Never.” The band has also explored eclectic ways to reach audiences with their sound, most notably writing and recording music for EA Games’ Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Readying their next chapter as a global force, THE HU are finishing their highly anticipated sophomore album, which was recorded in their homeland during quarantine. The project is expected to be released in early 2022 via BETTER NOISE MUSIC.

10 QUESTIONS w/THE HU

–What do you think will be going through your minds when the band step onstage September 1 in Lewiston, New York since it will be your first time in front of an audience in a long time due to Covid?

A: We are so excited and we’ll be delighted to be on the stage again. The stage is the place where we live, love and express our messages and feelings. Not being able to perform due to COV-19 reminded us how important this is in our lives.

–What has THE HU missed most about touring?

A: Connecting with our fans through our music is something we missed the most. Of course, there are other parts we missed including having a great time with our entire crew and seeing new places.

–In the months ahead, the band has its North American headlining tour, festival appearances plus shows with Halestorm. THE HU’s collaboration with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm on a new version of “Song of Women” on the deluxe edition of ‘The Gereg’ in 2020 was bold and moving. Can you talk about Lzzy’s contributions vocally and lyrically?

A: Lzzy is an incredibly talented singer, musician and songwriter. She brought a whole other level of dynamics to “Song of Women.” The lyrics that she wrote for this English version are absolutely beautiful and they complement the message of the original version. The first time we heard her vocal recording, it gave us goose bumps. Her sincerity in singing is off the hook.

–On the upcoming tour, THE HU will preview songs from the upcoming album. What can you tell us for now about these new songs and the album?

A: Yes, we will perform several new songs from the upcoming album. We’re highly anticipating sharing these songs because we have worked very hard to make them amazing for our fans. The recording part of the second album is done and now it’s in process of mixing and mastering.

— Does the band have any rituals before hitting the stage?

A: Yes, we do. A few minutes before going on the stage we circle around and chant together just like our ancestors.

–Can you talk about the challenge of performing at festivals where audiences are a mix of your fans plus folks who may not have heard of the band?

A: We don’t see it as a challenge but rather an opportunity. We believe in our music and message therein. We welcome new folks to come and listen to our music and hope they leave as new fans of the band.

–How does THE HU stay positive in such a volatile world given the pandemic, wars, polarizing political views, dramatic weather events and more?

A: As human beings, we’re stronger when we’re united together as we face any adversity. We believe that everyone has a warrior in them. Through our music we want to wake up those inner warriors in each of us so that you can face your fears and overcome them. Also believing in a bright future and accepting others regardless of their race, age, and political views make us stay positive.

–As Mongolians, do you feel you may view the world differently than, say, Americans and if so, how?

A: At the end of the day, we all are human being whether you’re from America or Mongolia. We have more things in common than one might think. For example, we grew up in Mongolia listening to American rock bands just like American kids. We love touring here and meeting with our idols, some of whom we have been fortunate enough to collaborate with.

–THE HU ended its last tour in Australia and were in fact stuck there as the country locked down at the start of the pandemic in early 2020. What was that experience like and how did you make the best of it?

A: Because of the COV-19 restrictions, we needed to stay in Sydney, Australia for about two months in early 2020. Of course, we wanted to return to Mongolia and our families, but it was impossible due to border lockdowns. During that time, we worked on our second album recording and making some episodes of “HU’s in the Kitchen?” We love Australia and would love to go back there to perform again.

–Music fans have really embraced THE HU’s cover of Metallica’s “Sad But True” on Better Noise’s “15 Years of Rock” series. And now you’re offering THE HU’s interpretation of Metallica’s “Through The Never” on the upcoming Metallica Special 30th Anniversary ‘Black Album’ Reissue Covers Project. Can you talk about the influence of Metallica on THE HU?

A: Like millions of people around the world, Metallica has been a huge influence and inspiration for us as music fans and musicians. We admire their 40 years of relentless touring and the timeless, unique music they have created. It is a great honor to show them our respect and gratitude by recording our versions of their incredible songs. We are honored and grateful to be included in the Blacklist.

YES, who are Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison and Billy Sherwood, today (September 1) have unveiled the video for “Dare To Know.” It marks the second single and video from their upcoming album THE QUEST, due out October 1 on InsideOutMusic/Sony Music and produced by Steve Howe. Watch the “Dare To Know” video here.

“’Dare To Know’ presents a guitar theme played within many different arrangements, with different chord structures and altered textures,” says Steve Howe. “The ‘idea’ mentioned in the first verse gets described later as an awakening to the subtle goings on within our bodies and mind, all geared to nature’s scheme of things, all fluctuating and rearranging according to the principles of life, as we know it. The centrepiece leaves the orchestra alone to elaborate and develop the way the theme is heard, then augments the closing minutes of the song as it rests, with an acoustic guitar cadenza.”

Much of the music for THE QUEST was “written in late 2019 with the rest in 2020,” says Howe. “We commissioned several orchestrations to augment and enhance the overall sound of these fresh new recordings, hoping that our emphasis on melody, coupled with some expansive instrumental solo breaks, keeps up the momentum for our listeners.”

The album was recorded across the globe. The sessions took place in the UK with Steve Howe, Geoff Downes and Jon Davison, while Alan White and Billy Sherwood got together in the studio in the US. “Billy Sherwood and myself did all the rhythm sections, bass and drum, in America,” says Alan White, “down in Los Angeles at Uncle Studios, where he works a lot. It helps when you’ve got a good place to work,” Alan laughs, “and Billy’s really good on the recording desk, so we got things down relatively quickly. I spent quite a while studying the music before I went down to LA so I was prepared.”

YES recently launched a video for the album’s opening track, “The Ice Bridge.” Watch the video here.

YES Story

For half a century YES have been the definitive band of the progressive music genre, the band by which all others are judged. Their ground-breaking albums of the 70s set the standard for the genre and influenced countless others who followed in their wake.

The current line-up of YES was completed in 2015 when Billy Sherwood replaced founder member Chris Squire, at Squire’s insistence, as he bravely fought a losing battle with leukaemia. Since then, YES have concentrated on touring with their Album Series tours, each featuring a classic YES album in its entirety. During this period YES have released three live albums Topographic Drama – Live Across America (2017), Yes Live 50 (2019) and The Royal Affair Tour: Live in Las Vegas (2020).

The music of YES has endured over the years and has been handed down through generations of music lovers.

BAND RESUMES HEADLINING ‘THE VERSATILE TOUR’
AFTER DELAY DUE TO POSITIVE COVID RESULT

The band returned to stages last Friday, August 27 in Virginia Beach and will continue their tour, including rescheduled dates for previously cancelled shows, throughout October 8 where they will appear at Aftershock Festival alongside Metallica.

The Michigan-formed blue-collar rock outfit recently landed their 18th overall Top 10 Mainstream Rock charting single with the empowering track “Survivor,” currently at #9, taken from their new album VERSATILE out now via Entertainment One (eOne). “Survivor” joins the album’s previous Top 10 single “Work” and #1 singleBreathe Again,” their sixth #1 single in career history.
