AMERICA’s Dewey Bunnell & Gerry Beckley Interviewed by Dan Rather For “The Big Interview” Airing This Wednesday, November 27 at 8pE/5pP

AMERICA ROCKERS DEWEY BUNNELL & GERRY BECKLEY DISCUSS THE IMPACT OF THE BEATLES ON AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF THE BIG INTERVIEW, AIRING NOVEMBER 27 AT 8pE
Los Angeles, CA (November 25, 2019) Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley, founding members of the legendary GRAMMY-winning rock band America, join Dan Rather for an all-new episode of The Big Interview-airing Wednesday, November 27 at 8pE/5pP.
In this exclusive first look, the duo discuss the tremendous impact of The Beatles’ groundbreaking performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, and how it shaped them as aspiring musicians. “The Beatles on Ed Sullivan was a turning point for everybody in our generation,” Beckley says. “It just redefined who I was as a kid. All of a sudden, it was no longer surf bands. We’re gonna grow our hair and we’re gonna sing.” The set was just one of many monumental moments that would change music, pop culture, and the country, itself. “I remember that year-we’re talking about ’63 into ’64,” Bunnell recalls. “With the assassination [of JFK], with Ali beating Liston, and with The Beatles on Ed Sullivan, that’s like a massive something happened right there.”
During their tenure with America, Bunnell and Beckley have each written their share of enduring hits. While their songwriting styles have both led to success, they could not be anymore different. Bunnell explains their eclectic yet cohesive sound, saying, “Gerry tends to write ‘indoor songs’, we say-love songs, a lot more introspective. And I do ‘outdoor songs’… So, there’s one difference.” “The other one is if it has two chords, it’s Dewey’s song,” Gerry chimes in. “If it has 102 chords, it’s mine.” Watch it here.
The Big Interview airs every Wednesday at 8pE/5pP, only on AXS TV.

OZZY OSBOURNE Goes “Straight To Hell” On New Track From His Forthcoming Ordinary Man’ Album

DATE:        NOVEMBER 21, 2019

FROM:       MARCEE RONDAN/MITCH SCHNEIDER

OZZY OSBOURNE GOES
“STRAIGHT TO HELL”
ON NEW TRACK

SECOND RELEASE FROM
HIS FORTHCOMING ALBUM,
‘ORDINARY MAN’

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE today has released his next track “Straight To Hell.” It marks the second song to be released from his first album in 10 years, ORDINARY MAN, due out on Epic Records in early 2020.

Listen to the song here and stay tuned for the release of the official music video.

On the full-on rocker “Straight To Hell,” OZZY takes listeners to the heart of darkness–“Something is missing and you don’t know why”–with Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash along for this devilish ride, delivering scorched-earth riffs.

“Straight To Hell” follows hot on the heels of “Under The Graveyard, which arrived two weeks ago and has garnered more than 2.8M global streams in its first week. Rolling Stone noted “doom and gloom is what makes an OZZY song great, and it’s what make this one a keeper, and NPR wrote, “It sounds like Ozzy and, remarkably, Ozzy’s voice can still tear through your soul.”

Earlier tonight (11/21), OZZY surprised a sold-out audience at the Forum in Los Angeles, when he joined Post Malone and Travis Scott for the first-ever live rendition of their record-breaking collaboration “Take What You Want. This Sunday (11/24), he reconvenes with Post and Travis at the American Music Awards for the first television performance of the song in what promises to be another unforgettable display.

OZZY wrote and recorded ORDINARY MAN in Los Angeles with producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) on bass and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums.

OZZY OSBOURNE
TO BE JOINED BY MARILYN MANSON FOR
RESCHEDULED 2020
NORTH AMERICAN DATES

When OZZY OSBOURNE relaunches his “NO MORE TOURS 2” in 2020, he’ll be joined by special guest Marilyn Manson for the North American shows.

These dates are OZZY‘s first shows since he announced earlier this year that all his 2019 performances would be postponed allowing him to heal from an injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy® Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home and trapped his spine aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery.
The “NO MORE TOURS 2” kicks off May 27 in Atlanta and concludes July 31 in Las Vegas. Next up, OSBOURNE will head overseas in October for the rescheduled European dates; Judas Priest will remain as support on the tour as part of their “JP/50 Heavy Metal Years” anniversary tour.
“Marilyn is killer live,” OZZY says. “He’s so fucking out there, and if I think that, then look out, we’re all fucked.
“I’ve toured with Ozzy many times and it’s always been fucking spectacular,” says Marilyn Manson. “I’m honored to do it again. This is one not to miss.”

OZZY OSBOURNE Releases “Under The Graveyard,” First Single From His Forthcoming

DATE:        NOVEMBER 8, 2019

FROM:       MARCEE RONDAN/MITCH SCHNEIDER

OZZY OSBOURNE
RELEASES
“UNDER THE GRAVEYARD”
TODAY

FIRST SINGLE
IN NEARLY 10 YEARS FROM OZZY IS
FROM HIS FORTHCOMING ALBUM,
‘ORDINARY MAN’

“This is quite possibly the most important album I have done in a very long time, probably since No More Tears.”
–Ozzy Osbourne

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE today (November 8) has released “Under The Graveyard,” his first new solo music in almost 10 years. A massive ballad that builds into a searing rocker, it’s the first single from OZZY‘s forthcoming album, ORDINARY MAN, due out on Epic Records in early 2020. Listen to the song here.

“This album was a gift from my higher power–it is proof to me that you should never give up,” OZZY says.

Recorded in Los Angeles, the album features producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) on bass and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums.

“It all started when [his daughter] Kelly comes in and says ‘do you want to work on a Post Malone song?'” OZZY explains. “My first thing was ‘who the fuck is Post Malone?!’ I went to Andrew’s [Watt] house and he said we will work really quick. After we finished that song, he said ‘would you be interested in starting an album.’ I said ‘that would be fucking great, but now I am thinking I don’t want to be working in a basement studio for six months! And in just a short time, we had the album done. Duff [McKagan] and Chad [Smith] came in and we would go in and jam during the day and I would go work out the songs in the evenings. I previously had said to Sharon I should be doing an album, but in the back of my mind I was going ‘I haven’t got the fucking strength…’ but Andrew pulled it out of me. I really hope people listen to it and enjoy it, because I put my heart and soul into this album.”

Stay tuned for additional details on ORDINARY MAN in the coming weeks.
