STEPHEN PEARCY
BIO
(2025-2026)

Forever in the fast lane, STEPHEN PEARCY practically breaks the speed limit as a vocal powerhouse, prolific songwriter, seasoned entrepreneur, and indefatigable force of nature.

Not only does he wield one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most massive and magnetic voices, but he’s also a livewire performer with enough electricity to power his native Los Angeles. Throughout the last four decades, he’s gone from fronting multiplatinum rock institution Ratt to launching a successful solo career, landing on The New York Times Bestseller List, founding his own Top Fuel Records, and making waves in the world of racing.

Between selling out venues as one-half of PEARCY/DEMARTINI and cooking up more music, he’s got his foot on the gas in 2026 and beyond.

“I just love creating and being able to record and release music,” STEPHEN states. “That’s why I write songs every fucking day of my life. Man, the hardest thing for me to do is rest. I still have a lot to do; I’m just trying to deliver and make the most of the opportunities that have been given to me.”

Growing up between Long Beach and Culver City in Southern California, he discovered rock music during middle school. At the time, he poured over classics by The Doors and Alice Cooper. I saw a poster of Alice and thought it was an ugly girl,” he laughs. “I ended up listening though, and I was obsessed.”

Despite being blown away by seeing Led Zeppelin and Van Halen in concert, his interests veered towards a different kind of metal. As a passionate top fuel racer, he worked with a racing team until an auto accident landed him in the hospital. Nevertheless, a friend brought an acoustic guitar to his hospital bedside, and he never looked back.

PEARCY’s identifiable vocals lifted Ratt into the stratosphere, selling over 20 million albums worldwide, notching two Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, lighting up arenas a la the San Diego Sports Arena, the Forum, and Madison Square Garden, and delivering mega-hits like “Round and Round.”

Tallying hundreds of millions of streams, the latter remains embedded in the fabric of popular culture, thanks to syncs in NETFLIX’s Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, Grand Theft Auto, Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler, and Joseph Kosinski’s F1 starring Academy® Award winner Brad Pitt. The tune even heralded the arrival of Apple CEO Tim Cook to the stage at Apple’s WWDC25. 36 years on from its initial release, “Round and Round” and the band also famously appeared in a popular GEICO commercial, “We have a RATT problem.

Along the way, PEARCY showcased his versatility at the helm of Arcade, Vicious Delite, and Vertex. He shined on solo records, including the acclaimed View to a Thrill in 2018. Of the latter, Cryptic Rock promised, “every song incorporates enough rock tenacity to satisfy anyone who presses play. Expanding his profile, he starred as Timothy Bach in the cult horror fav Camp Utopia and starred and produced his own docu-series in partnership with ASY/TV. Then, there was his memoir, SEX, DRUGS, RATT ‘n’ ROLL… My Life in Rock—which enshrined him as a New York Times best-selling author and received widespread praise.

However, it always comes back to the music. For the first time in seven years, he reteamed with RATT lead guitar-slinger Warren DeMartini for PEARCY/DEMARTINI during 2025. After breaking the news to Eddie Trunk, these legends embarked on the triumphant Invasion Celebration Tour, kicking off in front of a packed crowd at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut and headlining M3 Rock Festival, Rock the Dam 8, and KISS’s first-ever KISS KRUISE Land Locked in Las Vegas. Ultimate Classic Rock hailed the jaunt as “a tight set of 16 of the most famous songs from their former band.

He kept up the momentum with his solo band as well. PEARCY hopped aboard the Iconic Voices of Rock Tour with longtime friends Vince Neil and Bret Michaels. All the while, he quietly crafted music for what will be his upcoming seventh full-length solo LP planned for release on Top Fuel in 2026.

In many ways, PEARCY is just getting started.

“Forty-something years later, I’m getting more of a kick out of this than ever,” he leaves off. “I still enjoy it, and that’s why I do it. It’s colorful, dangerous, and exciting. I’m going to keep doing this while I can; I’m very fortunate.”
