THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT (@tfp_devotion) have spent the past year drawing huge crowds at major festivals including Warped Tour and Louder Than Life, and as part of tours with bands like Ice Nine Kills, The Used, Underoath, and In This Moment. Yesterday (November 11), the emo-rooted Atlanta-based band performed their debut show overseas as part of their first-ever European tour with The Rasmus. The set list features songs from their acclaimed album GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY – FROM BEYOND THE ABYSS: DELUXE EDITION that was released June 13 via Better Noise Music.

They’ve now lined up a massive tour supporting Three Days Grace as part of their “Alienation” U.S. tour along with I Prevail. It kicks off in Fort Wayne, IN on February 21, 2026 and wraps in November for the final show in Los Angeles. Sleep Theory will also appear on various dates along the trek.

Tickets for the “Alienation” tour are available starting with a Citi cardmember presale beginning yesterday (Tuesday, November 11) at 10 a.m. local until Thursday, November 13 at 10 p.m. local time through the Citi Entertainment program. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, November 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Citi is the official card of the “Alienation” tour. Tickets for other THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT shows—including The Rasmus tour as well as two hometown shows in Atlanta, GA to kick off the new year—are available on the band’s official website.

We’re ready to bring everything we’ve got and make this run unforgettable. 2026 is going to be one hell of a year.”

As THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT—Lee Jennings (vocals), Cody Weissinger (guitar), Caleb Freihaut (guitar/auxiliary), Robert Weston (bass), and Homer Umbanhowar (drums)—continue to keep building on their success as their “Dark Thoughts” single is now in the top 10 (#8) of the Mediabase’s Active Rock radio chart, they recently announced the release of their first-ever live album, LIVE FROM SUFFOCATE CITY via Better Noise Music on January 16, 2026 which will be available as a CD/Blu-ray combo and on vinyl in their signature green and purple and can be pre-ordered HERE. On LIVE FROM SUFFOCATE CITY, fans are invited to step inside the chaos and catharsis of THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT’s first-ever Suffocate City Town Hall Meeting, captured live from their sold-out hometown show at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA earlier this year. The exclusive Blu-ray documents the band’s legendary performance in front of a packed house of diehard fans. It’s a thrilling night of raw emotion, high-energy theatrics, and fan-favorite anthems including their two #1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Mediabase’s Active Rock radio charts: “Holy Water” (featuring Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch) and “Suffocate City” (featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills).

Now comes the news that THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT will release their first-ever live album, LIVE FROM SUFFOCATE CITY via Better Noise Music on January 16, 2026. “‘Voodoo Doll’ is about the pain of watching someone you love disappear into addiction, that helplessness of trying to save them when they don’t want to be saved,” says frontman Lee Jennings. “Performing it live at the first Suffocate City Town Hall hit differently; you could feel every word echo back from the crowd. This live video that’s taken from our Blu-ray captures that raw emotion exactly how it felt that night.”

Fans were already treated to an early glimpse of the live album with the August 22 release of the four-track DARK THOUGHTS EP. In addition to the live track, three other versions of “Dark Thoughts” are featured: the original version, a version featuring vocals by Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, and a new remix of the song. The EP can be streamed and downloaded HERE, along with two videos: “Dark Thoughts (Beyond The Abyss Remix)” HERE and “Dark Thoughts (Live From Suffocate City)” HERE (which has over 34k views).

The GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY album was originally released September 13, 2024. It consists of 14 tracks of theatrical, dramatic, unapologetic, full-throated flair with guest appearances from Bert McCracken of The Used, Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, and Amanda Lyberg of Eva Under Fire.

The deluxe edition, GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY – FROM BEYOND THE ABYSS: DELUXE EDITION, was released June 13 via Better Noise Music, with digital, CD, and vinyl copies available HERE. It contains 24 songs including tracks from the CASSANOVA EP and the FROM BEYOND THE ABYSS EP, as well as “Holy Water” feat. Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch, “Hearse for Two” feat. Lilith Czar and three brand new songs: “Skinny Lies,” “Evergreen,” and “Lost Boy.” The vinyl and CD two-disc deluxe packages feature 21 tracks, one of which is exclusive to the physical formats (“Friends Like These”).

Coming off two red-hot #1 rock tracks—“Holy Water” (feat Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch) and “Suffocate City (feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)”—THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT (@tfp_devotion) today (August 22) release to radio the “Dark Thoughts” single from their smash GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY album. Described by frontman Lee Jennings as “a finger snapping anthemic banger,” the mental health-themed song also appears on the newly released four-track DARK THOUGHTS EP along with a version of the song featuring vocals by Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, a new remix of the song, and a live performance of it from the band’s Atlanta, GA hometown of Atlanta alongside the original version.

“We wanted to put together something special and different that we haven’t done for the Coffin Crew [the band’s devoted following],” explains singer Lee Jennings. “The other cool thing about this EP is that we are including the live version that we recorded at our first-ever town hall meeting in Atlanta. This marked our first sold-out show in our hometown.”

About the song itself, Jennings explains that “‘Dark Thoughts’ is a fun and energetic song meant to highlight our own mental health struggles. I wrote it about being diagnosed with OCD, I’m glad that more people can relate. This song is one of my personal favorites on the album. It’s deeply rooted in feeling trapped in your own head, like you have no one to reach out to who would understand or have an answer. It’s a statement both about the band and our fans. Depression, anxiety, and mental health crisis events are a ubiquitous experience for us, and the people who connect with our art. It can be such a terrifying and daunting task to try to overcome, but we hope that by connecting with others, we can support each other as a community in times when things seem the most bleak.”

After wrapping up a slew of appearances at summer festivals including Warped Tour and Rock Fest, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT’s on-going tour schedule isn’t slowing down anytime soon. They’ve been invited to be a part of the “ICE NINE KILLS: HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR” along with Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and Mest, which is currently underway. The Live Nation-produced tour is bringing the bands to arenas and amphitheaters across the country. Tickets are available via Ice Nine Kills’ website. “Evergreen” is one of the three brand new songs featured on the deluxe edition of the red-hot emo-rooted band’s second album, the 24-track GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY – FROM BEYOND THE ABYSS: DELUXE EDITION (the track listing is listed below). It’s out today (June 13) via Better Noise Music, with digital, CD, and vinyl (out June 27) copies available HERE.

“The song speaks to universal and painful truths—that love is the source of all suffering, and the bittersweet feelings that coincide with it,” elaborates Jennings. “The lyrics come from an extremely personal place and are set against a melancholy, stripped-back track that helps accent one of our most emotional hymns to date.”

With “Evergreen,” the Atlanta band is excitingly building on their radio success. They achieved the #1 spot last November on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Mediabase’s Active Rock radio charts with their smash single “Suffocate City (feat. In touring news, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT recently wrapped up a U.S. month-long trek with Ice Nine Kills, and they’ve now been invited to be a part of the “ICE NINE KILLS: HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR” along with Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and Mest. THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT will jump on the new trek starting August 10 in Waukee, IA. The Live Nation-produced tour will bring the bands to arenas and amphitheaters across the country. THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT keep making serious waves. The emo rock revivalists achieved the #1 spot last November on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Mediabase’s Active Rock radio charts with their smash single “Suffocate City (feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)” and they’re again enjoying Top Ten success on the same charts with “Holy Water,” which features guest vocals by Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch.

The band—Lee Jennings (Vocals), Cody Weissinger (Guitar), Caleb Freihaut (Guitar/Auxiliary), Robert Weston (Bass), and Homer Umbanhowar (Drums)—is building on their growing success by today (April 25) releasing the lyric video for “Skinny Lies.” The track—sonically bracing and lyrically dark, highlighted by Jennings’ riveting vocal delivery—is one of three brand new songs from the forthcoming deluxe edition release of their critically acclaimed second album GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY, due out June 13 via Better Noise Music. “Holy Water” features Moody’s powerful and distinctively rugged guest vocals and is taken from the deluxe edition of THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT’s critically acclaimed second album GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY, out June 13 via Better Noise Music. “Holy Water” debuted at #21 on Billboard’s “Mainstream Rock Tracks” chart at #21 and is now positioned at #14.

“Holy Water” is brought to life in a gothic-style video directed by Michael Lombardi of Better Noise Films, an affiliate of Better Noise Music. The video’s narrative outlines the origin of how singer Lee Jennings got his power to ignite the souls of fans around the world. “We filmed Ivan Moody deep in the desert of Prescott, Arizona on top of a thousand-foot canyon,” says Lombardi. “We then had to shoot THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT on a day off between shows in Philadelphia and New York City. This created a challenge in finding the epic gothic-style church location I needed. After scouting several locations, I ended up finding a phenomenal old and abandoned church in the Poconos in Pennsylvania.”

“Filming the ‘Holy Water’ music video was an absolutely insane experience,” declares singer Lee Jennings. “The production was on another level—every detail, every shot, just completely unreal. Michael Lombardi brought a vision to this that was bigger than we ever imagined, turning it into a full-on cinematic experience. And having Ivan Moody be a part of it? That was next level. His energy and presence took everything to a whole new dimension. We can’t wait for everyone to see what we created—it’s dark, intense, and something truly special.”

The passion, intensity, and raw emotion they bring to their performances make them one of the most exciting new bands out there. And Lee’s voice? Absolutely incredible—one of my favorite new singers! We had talked about collaborating before the tour, but the timing never worked out. Then, while speeding down the highway, I heard ‘Holy Water’ on the radio and couldn’t help but sing along. What an amazing track! It immediately brought back the idea of working together, so I hit up Lee about the possibility of me redoing the song with them. Luckily, he was all in—and here we are….the rest is history.”

“Holy Water” was described by MetalPlanetMusic.com in a September 8, 2024 review as “a full-on arena anthem sound that hits straight between the ears. The beat is hard and uncompromising, with the dual guitar riffs forcing the emotion down your throat. The choral harmony during the bridge gives the track a ‘it’s our song, and we’re going to do what the fuck we want to’ vibe. It’s a real monster of a track.”

In touring news, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT has been bringing their message to the masses with an aggressive touring plan that continues throughout 2025. The band is on the road now throughout the U.S. and Canada with Catch Your Breath & Archers. Next up will be a nationwide tour with Ice Nine Kills, as well as an appearance as part of the Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA on July 26 and 27.
