Bridging the gap between horror and metal, ICE NINE KILLS focused their 2018 Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart-topping release THE SILVER SCREAM on classic films from the genre, while even enlisting some notable guest vocal performances from the likes of Stranger Things‘ Chelsea Tamridge and Sam Kubrick, grandson of Stanley Kubrick, who famously directed the iconic Stephen King adaption of The Shining.
Taking it a step further, the band created their own mini-horror series starring vocalist and horror aficionado Spencer Charnas to correlate with each of the album’s singles, injecting their own narrative into the movies the tracks pay homage to. Following a prequel and four parts, the fifth and final clip– directed by Daniel Hourihan (Manchester By The Sea, In Your Eyes) of Slow Burn Productions— is out now, for the track “IT Is The End,” inspired by Stephen King’s popular novel-turned-movie IT. Jovial and friendly at first, Pennywise can switch to the embodiment of evil at the drop of a hat, so I wanted to capture that as best as I could in my vocal performance and in the video clip. ICE NINE KILLS recently announced they will release the ‘Final Cut’ edition of THE SILVER SCREAMon October 25 via Fearless Records. The album will include four acoustic renditions of songs from THE SILVER SCREAM with guest appearances by very special members of both the horror and metal communities, all of which are yet to be unveiled. It will also feature a thrilling cover song and a brand-new number that pays homage to Wes Craven‘s 1996 slasher masterpiece, SCREAM.
The band recently completed the almost fully sold out European leg of their headlining “Silver Scream” tour and will next be seen performing on stages across the U.S. leading SiriusXM Octane Presents “The Octane Accelerator Tour” from October 29 to December 1 with support from Fit For a King, Light The Torch, Make Them Suffer and Awake At Last.
During this run, the band will stop by the infamous Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO, the source of inspiration for Stephen King‘s bestselling novel The Shining, to perform a special recorded acoustic show on Monday, November 4. TO BE RECORDED AND FILMED FOR A FUTURE LIVE PROJECT
TASH SULTANA‘s sold-out show this coming Wednesday, September 25 at the iconic venue Red Rocks in Morrison,Colorado is being recorded and filmed for a future live project. The day will be captured on film to give a behind-the-scenes look into themulti-instrumentalist and global sensation’s largest American headline show to date. Leading the film crew will be TASH‘s own touring videographer Dara Munnis.
“I feel like this is a closing ceremony for this chapter of my life which has been years in the making,” says TASH. “I’m happy to be able to document what we have achieved from a live perspective and show everyone the hard work that’s gone into these shows the past few years. It’s going to be a hell of night.”
The Red Rocks show is part of TASH’s buzzed-about fall 2019 tour that has included a recent stop at the Central Park Summerstage (New York), along with an upcoming slot on the Ohana Festival (Los Angeles). The newly announced tour dates mark the largest headlining gigs in TASH‘s career and come after a few spring shows in the U.S., followed by solo performances and festival appearances this summer in Europe.
Last year was one of the biggest years in TASH‘s career. Highlights include the release of her debut album FLOW STATE (Mom and Pop Music) which entered the charts at #4 on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart and also charted across the globe. FLOW STATEwas also nominated for the prestigious Triple J Australian Album of the Year award and six ARIA’s (The Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards). Flippin’ The B Side, a new collection of non-album tracks, which has never been pressed to vinyl. In addition, Black Rain, Down to Earth and Screamhave never been pressed in the U.S., while No More Tears was remastered from the original flat analog album masters and is offered as a two-LP set which will allow the album’s songs to be uncompressed for the very first time ever on vinyl. ART: 10 newly designed 24″X 36″ posters (including some never-before-seen images) each accompany the 10 studio albums released between 1981-2010.
AR: Twelve AR (Augmented Reality) experiences will be included throughout the package. Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks.
SIGNED CERTIFICATE: Each collection features an individually numbered vellum certificate of authenticity hand-signed by OZZY.

When COLT FORD took the stage last night (9/17/19) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, little did he know the surprise that awaited him as he exited the stage after his performance and standing ovation. Country star Jamey Johnson presented FORD with an RIAA gold certified plaque marking sales of more than 500,000 units of Ride Through The Country, FORD‘s debut album released in 2008 featuring Johnson on the track, “Cold Beer.”
The RIAA certification comes just days before FORD releases his seventh album, We The People, Volume 1, this Friday, September 20 (Average Joes Entertainment). Ford‘s new video and radio single, “Slow Ride” feat./Mitchell Tenpenny, debuted on CMT Music and CMT.com this week.

TOMMY EMMANUEL is the esteemed Grammy-nominated guitarist, composer, prolific recording artist and performer whose must-see shows all over the world combine virtuosity with his engaging storytelling wit. The fascinating story behind the musician and the man is now told in the documentary film Tommy Emmanuel-The Endless Road, directed by Jeremy Dylan and produced by Jaime Lewis.
The documentary will have its U.S. premiere at the 50th Nashville Film Festival which takes place October 3-12. The film’s premiere is set for Saturday October 5 at 3:00 PM with TOMMY and the filmmakers in attendance, followed by a Q&A. An encore screening of the film will be on Monday October 7 at 1:00 PM. ABOUT TOMMY EMMANUEL:
TOMMY EMMANUEL has achieved enough musical milestones to satisfy several lifetimes. At the age of six, he was touring regional Australia with his family band. By 30, he was a rock n’ roll lead guitarist burning up stadiums in Europe. At 44, he became one of five people ever named a Certified Guitar Player by his idol, music icon Chet Atkins. Today, he plays hundreds of sold-out shows every year from Nashville to Sydney to London. He’s piled up numerous accolades, including two Grammy Award nominations, two ARIA Awards from the Australian Recording Industry Association (the Aussie equivalent of the Recording Academy) and repeated honors in the Guitar Player magazine reader’s poll including a cover story for their August 2017 issue. A noted fingerstyle guitarist, EMMANUEL frequently threads three different parts simultaneously into his material, operating as a one-man band who handles the melody, the supporting chords and the bass all at once. His talents, which translate in any language, carry him to the far corners of the globe, but EMMANUEL never plays the same show twice, and he improvises big chunks of every date. That leaves him open to those technical imperfections, though they also provide some of the humanity to an other-worldly talent.
