CHAPEL HART—the Mississippi born n’ raised country music trio consisting of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and cousin Trea Swindle—have today (October 18) released their very first holiday single “Come On Santa (Ready For Christmas Now).” Listen to the single HERE from their forthcoming HARTFELT FAMILY CHRISTMAS album due out October 25 (distributed by Origins Records).

“I feel like ‘Come on Santa’ is the perfect song to kick off this holiday season,” Trea Swindle says. “Until we’d finished the first playback, I realized that there hasn’t really been a song that accurately described the pre-Christmas excitement that we’ve been experiencing. This is the anthem for the folks who want to start hanging their decorations well before the pumpkin spice starts rolling out!”

It was produced by Danica Hart and JT3D and mixed and mastered by Billy Dawson, Dawson Studios, Nashville. Musicians on the album include Dan Needham (Drums), Gary Lunn (Bass and Guitar), Jerry McPhearson (Electric Guitar), Gideon “Terry” Klein (Pedal Steel & Acoustic Guitar) and Tre’ Corley (Keyboards).

On the live front, CHAPEL HART continue to wow audiences around the world. Beyond recent performances in the U.S., the female country music trio visited the UK for a knockout performance at the Long Road Festival as well as two independent sold-out shows. They also left an indelible impression on the sold-out audiences of Country Night Gstaad in Gstaad, Switzerland where they opened for Little Big Town before returning to the U.S. for additional shows leading up to their Hartfelt Family Christmas shows. In addition, the group will head to Asia in November for five dates in Japan performing for U.S. military troops. The group will help kick-off the new year in the national broadcast and streaming of the 136^th Rose Parade airing on New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2025).

British rock luminaries ASKING ALEXANDRIA today (October 18) have released a digital EP featuring remixed versions of popular tracks from their acclaimed 2023 album WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? via Better Noise Music. The band shared two of the EP’s songs in September including the fan-favorite track “Bad Blood” which was remixed by the record-breaking Indonesian DJ group Weird Genius (who broke Spotify’s record for the #1 longest charting local song on Spotify Indonesia’s Top 50 charts in 2020) and a sci-fi themed music video for the album’s third most highest streaming track, “Let Go,” remixed by up-and-coming LA-based producer kodeblooded.

THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS—lead vocalist, guitarist and founding member Ronnie Winter, his multi-instrumentalist brother Randy Winter, guitarist Josh Burke, bassist Joey Westwood, drummer John Esp, and touring keyboardist Nadeem Salam, — have today released a new recording of their previously unreleased song “Home Improvement.” “Home Improvement” was one of the band’s “lost” tracks which were originally recorded prior to the sessions for their debut album but didn’t make the cut and have only existed as demos found on YouTube. These songs, along with new material, will be released on their new album due in Spring of 2025 via Better Noise Music.

Ronnie elaborates: “In 2004, as a local, unsigned band out of Jacksonville, Florida, we recorded a batch of demos that we posted on social media and passed around everywhere we could, later these were known to fans as our self-titled album. This led to our first major label signing in fall of 2005. We wasted little time getting into the studio to give these songs a fresh new recording and that became the basis for our now 2X Platinum-certified debut album ‘Don’t You Fake It.’ Some of these songs didn’t make the cut due to studio time, album length, and whatnot. Over the years with file trading and YouTube, these demos found their way across the internet and became fan favorites in their own right, and became known as ‘The Lost Songs.’ Fans traded and would beg us to release them, as they were never officially released on streaming platforms.”

“What’s old is new again,” Winters announces. “We have reteamed with many of those involved with ‘Don’t You Fake It’ for our upcoming album and we’re stoked to finally officially release a new recording of ‘Home Improvement’—a song about heartache and the ambivalence of love. It’s been one of the most requested of ‘The Lost Songs’ and will be released digitally for the first time-ever through our new record label, Better Noise Music. As the iconic multi-platinum-selling group AMERICA continue to perform with original member Dewey Bunnell at the helm on their “Ride On Tour 2024,” the band is now the subject of a new documentary I Need You: 53 Years Of The Band America. After 53 consecutive years of touring and over 5000 electrifying performances, the original members of ‘America’ are ready to reflect on their remarkable journey. The documentary takes audiences backstage as Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell privately say goodbye to a lifetime together on the road.

The film is produced by Highway West, Warner Music Entertainment, and Primary Wave Music, and is represented by Submarine Entertainment. It is directed by Dustin Elm and David Breschel, and produced by Jack Piatt, Charlie Cohen, Natalia Nastaskin, and David Breschel. The film will have its world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival on Tuesday, October 22 at the historic Lido Theater in Newport Beach, CA with the screening beginning at 7:30 PM.

Fans will also have the unique opportunity to participate in a special Q&A session with Gerry, Dewey, and the filmmakers immediately following the screening. Moderated by Denny Tedesco, acclaimed director of The Wrecking Crew and Immediate Family, this discussion will offer an intimate look at the band’s enduring legacy and the making of the film.

In addition to the Newport Beach screening there will be two additional showings of the film this fall:

Ojai Film Festival: Join us on a nostalgic journey up the “Ventura Highway” at the Ojai Film Festival with a screening on November 4 at 4:00 PM.
Coronado Island Film Festival: The film will also be shown at the Coronado Film Festival on November 10 at 10:00 AM.

I Need You: 53 Years of the Band America captures the poignant moments behind the scenes of Gerry and Dewey’s final show together and reflects on the journey of the band’s original members from high school friends to international superstars. With legendary hits like “A Horse With No Name,” “Ventura Highway,” “Sister Golden Hair,” and “I Need You,” the film celebrates the band’s passion, perseverance, and the close bond that kept them on the road for over five decades.

Dewey and Gerry have chosen this film as the platform to publicly announce the end of their 53 consecutive years of touring together. It has been the ultimate privilege to get the chance to document America‘s farewell to a lifetime dedicated to one of the most iconic runs in music history.

We wanted this movie to not only tell the story of a band that has left an indelible mark on the history of music, but also look beyond the surface of the rock-n-roll lifestyle to reveal the dreams, challenges, and enduring partnership that have defined America‘s unique trajectory throughout the band’s musical career.

Through candid interviews and intimate moments on the road, we hoped to paint a portrait that not only celebrates America’s musical legacy but also pulls back the curtain on the individuals behind their iconic songs.

As filmmakers, we’re driven by a shared passion for authentic storytelling and an unwavering dedication to preserving the true essence of our subjects. In this film, we strived to honor the spirit of America and offer audiences an experience that embodies the spirit of the band’s music and the profound impact it has had on generations.

CHAPEL HART continue to wow audiences around the world. Beyond recent performances in the U.S., the female country music trio visited the UK for a knockout performance at the Long Road Festival as well as two independent sold-out shows. They also left an indelible impression on the sold-out audiences of Country Night Gstaad in Gstaad, Switzerland where they opened for Little Big Town before returning to the U.S. for additional shows leading up to their Hartfelt Family Christmas shows. In addition, the group will head to Asia in November for five dates in Japan performing for U.S. military troops. The group will help kick-off the new year in the national broadcast and streaming of the 136^th Rose Parade airing on New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2025).
