Award-winning jazz pianist and composer Ted Rosenthal brings his internationally acclaimed trio to the stage, featuring renowned bassist Martin Wind and drummer Tim Horner, creating a powerhouse ensemble that blends masterful improvisation, swing, and modern jazz artistry.
A winner of the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition, Ted Rosenthal has performed with jazz legends including Gerry Mulligan, Art Farmer, Phil Woods, and James Moody. Known for his inventive arrangements, dynamic performances, and critically acclaimed recordings, Rosenthal continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his sophisticated yet accessible style.
On Thursday, June 4, special guest Benny Benack III adds his signature charisma and virtuosic trumpet playing to the evening. Celebrated for his fresh take on classic jazz traditions, Benack has quickly become one of the most exciting rising stars in contemporary jazz, earning acclaim for both his instrumental brilliance and smooth vocal performances.

Laura Taylor is a renowned jazz vocalist and songwriter celebrated for her rich, expressive voice and lyrical sensitivity. A veteran performer with roots in opera, Taylor has built a distinguished career spanning New York, Las Vegas, and international stages, appearing everywhere from the Waldorf Astoria to intimate jazz clubs around the world. Her highly anticipated sixth album, Think I’m In Love (Vegas Records), showcases her wide-ranging artistry through original compositions and her first recorded interpretation of the Diana Ross classic title track. Blending soulful R&B grooves, cinematic ballads, and swinging jazz, Taylor continues to captivate audiences with performances that are both deeply emotional and timeless.

Hailed by New York Times critic Stephen Holden as one of the nightclub world’s “exceptional rising talents,” Amanda is a nationally and internationally performing artist known for her rich, expressive voice, impeccable phrasing, and captivating stage presence. Backed by a superb trio, she moves effortlessly through timeless standards—balancing buoyant swing with late-night intimacy—delivering each song with sophistication, warmth, and style.
ABOUT THE JOE LANO QUARTET
Joe Lano, a world-class guitarist, arranger, and composer, has been a cornerstone of the Las Vegas and West Coast music scene for over 50 years. Since moving to Las Vegas in 1964, Joe has performed with nearly every major act in show business, including legends like Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, and Steve Lawrence. As a student of the renowned Dennis Sandole—John Coltrane’s teacher—Joe blends technical mastery with deep, creative musicality.
Joining him are Jess Gopen – Berklee College of Music graduate and dynamic drummer with a wide range of professional credits; Jeff Davis, an accomplished bassist and UNLV Jazz Studies alumnus known for his smooth, intuitive playing, and Etsuko Mader – Pianist, composer, arranger, and educator whose artistry adds a brilliant new layer to the group’s celebrated sound. This quartet brings a fresh approach to jazz standards, with inventive arrangements, intricate interplay, and heartfelt interpretations that captivate audiences every time they take the stage.
