KELLY MANNO
Q&A
2026
Q: Can you walk us through the special chemistry you all share and what makes this tour so special?
KELLY MANNO (KM): Our generation finally feels heard. We were told to shut up and be quiet our whole lives, and now we are finally saying the things we have always wanted to say. Also so many people are suffering from depression and anxiety, I know we are bringing joy to people who really need it. We give them a break from their real life. Most of our crowd are people who don’t get out much, it’s easy to stay at home and isolate. The fact that our show brings them out of the house and gives them a night of laughs makes my heart smile.
Q: Each of you bring a unique perspective with your life observations, which is what makes the shows so compelling. What is the one subject you cover every night in your set?
(KM): That our parents hated us. Maybe hate is a strong word, they definitely didn’t like us, they needed TV commercials to remind them we existed.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
(KM): You teach people how to treat you.
Q: Also, what’s the one piece of advice you would give to someone entering the next stage of life?
(KM): After the age of 40 never trust a fart in public, our bodies are not what they used to be. A fart is just a turd honking for the right of way.
Q: What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
(KM): The Spice Girls but I don’t feel guilty at all because they are amazing.
Q: Who or what has been your biggest inspiration (book, movie, person)?
(KM): Lorena Bobbit, and no I’m not kidding. That woman is my idol. She has balls bigger than most men I know.
Q: Which famous historical event would you like to have witnessed and why?
(KM): When Hulk Hogan body slammed Andre the Giant in the ring in 1987, as a kid it was a bigger than life moment to see on TV and to be there in person had to be electric.
Q: What do you look forward to most when you return home from the road?
(KM): Everything. Being on the road is torture for me. I hate flying, I hate beige hotel rooms. My life at home is a whole vibe. I drive a pink jeep, my house is loud, colorful and fun. I have disco lights in my living room. My kids are rad, they are my favorite people to hang out with. My cat is awesome, my bed is like a pink fluffy cupcake. I walk around bra-less, watch trash television and eat raw cookie dough in the middle of the afternoon. I literally have the best life ever at home J
