[Las Vegas, NV – SEPTEMBER 5, 2025] – Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH (@5fdp) are marking their 20th anniversary with the release of two definitive greatest hits collections: Best Of – Volume 1 (available now) and, announced today, Best Of – Volume 2 (forthcoming October 24, 2025). Both collections feature newly re-recorded versions of the band’s biggest anthems, created in response to their former label’s sale of the original song masters – made without the band’s knowledge or the opportunity to reclaim their legacy.

Turning that setback into something powerful and positive, the band chose not to simply remix or remaster but to fully re-record fan favorites across two volumes of greatest hits – both as a tribute to the songs and to the fans who’ve stood with the band over the last two decades.

While respecting and honoring the original recordings and those who helped shape them, the band is excited to revisit and bring renewed intensity to tracks like “Sham Pain,” “Blue On Black,” “Trouble,” and “Burn MF.” Together, the two Best Of collections celebrate the band’s respect for the past while reintroducing the music for a new era. Leading the charge as the first single from Best Of – Volume 2 is the 2025 version of “The End” featuring BABYMETAL. Vocalist SU-METAL reflects: “We were invited to take part in a 20th-anniversary collaboration project featuring guest artists on past songs. Five Finger Death Punch and BABYMETAL had performed at the same festival overseas back in 2015, so I was really happy thinking they might have remembered me from then. I sang Japanese lyrics inspired by and based on the original lyrics of “The End,” and spent a lot of time experimenting to figure out what kind of voice would best suit such a deep, cool track. My favorite part of the song is the flow from the section starting with “Negai o kakete” right after the chorus into the break — I loved how my voice gradually got covered and engulfed by Ivan’s growl, which gave me chills. I hope listeners will enjoy that moment as well.”

Rather than settling for a remix or remaster, the members of Five Finger Death Punch decided to fully re-record the album for a 2025 edition—an homage to the songs and to the fans who’ve made them matter by standing with the band every step of the way.

While Five Finger Death Punch holds deep respect for the original recordings and the people who helped create them, the band is excited to breathe new life into fan favorites like “The Bleeding,” “Bad Company,” and “Wrong Side of Heaven,” and to share this next chapter with fans around the world. Coinciding with today’s release, Five Finger Death Punch dropped a brand new lyric video for the re-recorded version of live staple “Wash It All Away” from the band’s platinum certified 2015 album, Got Your Six that can be watched HERE.

The first single from the 20th Anniversary Edition, in a poetic coincidence titled “I Refuse,” a long-standing fan favorite that was always meant to be a single, now features guest vocals from Maria Brink of In This Moment. The reimagined, re-recorded version of “I Refuse” hits #1 this week on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.

Founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory says: “We would have loved to have a shot at reclaiming our masters, or at least to be involved in the transaction but we found out after the fact. Surprised, but not surprised. These kinds of behind closed doors deals have become far too common in the music industry. Labels buy, sell or trade artist’s work without their knowledge or consent, reducing them to soulless commodities. But life is a chess game so when this happened to Taylor Swift, she responded by re-recording her catalog. After that respectably bold move, her fans switched to streaming the new version out of protest and loyalty. We have one of the most hardcore and loyal fan bases on the planet so I know our fans will do the same.”

Coincidentally, this year marks the band’s 20th anniversary, and they were already thinking about how to commemorate two decades worth of music, so when this curveball was thrown, they chose to turn it into something positive and powerful. The idea of a remix or remaster wasn’t enough, so the band created a completely re-recorded 2025 edition to honor the songs and the fans who have made them matter by being with Five Finger Death Punch every step of the way.

[Las Vegas, NV – Thursday, October 24, 2024] Multi-Platinum and Billboard record-setting hard rock powerhouse, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have donated $200k from a portion of ticket sales from their massively successful headlining arena and amphitheater North American tour this past Summer/Fall. The funds will be split between two charities handpicked by Ivan Moody and Zoltan Bathory.

Ivan chose Covenant House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless, trafficked, and exploited youth and young families, in support of Youth Homelessness Awareness Month in November. With 34 locations across the Americas, Covenant House’s mission is to provide shelter, support, and comprehensive services to youth facing homelessness. Highlighting this issue, Five Finger Death Punch leveraged their platform by including facts and resources for the cause in the music video for their 2023 single “Judgement Day” – Watch it HERE. An acoustic version of the song is available as a bonus track on the digital deluxe edition of AFTERLIFE, alongside acoustic renditions of “The End,” “Thanks for Asking” and “This is the Way” (feat. DMX), marking the late rappers first No. 1 at Rock Radio.

“Many of our songs and music videos speak directly to the issues being addressed by Covenant House,” says Ivan. “Our commitment to donating to support their programs and using our platform to raise awareness perfectly aligns with the band’s and our fans’ values.”

Ivan Moody has made significant contributions to raising awareness in the recovery community. As someone in recovery himself, he has devoted both time and hundreds of thousands of dollars to support various recovery-focused organizations. Taking his commitment even further, he has established his own Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), ‘Ciara Coral’, in Cheyenne, WY, dedicated to guiding and assisting addicts throughout the process of recovery and helping them regain control of their lives.

Zoltan chose to support the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization that helps veterans find high-quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value that veterans bring to the workplace. His connection to this charity was forged when he was featured as a character—an in-game operator named Oz—in two Call Of Duty® games: “Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II” and “Call of Duty®: Warzone™.”

Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH announced today the digital deluxe edition of AFTERLIFE. Their critically acclaimed ninth studio album will now be released April 5 via Better Noise Music. The deluxe version includes the original 12 tracks recorded with the band’s longtime producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne) in addition to four bonus tracks: acoustic versions of the album’s songs “The End,” “Judgement Day,” and “Thanks For Asking” plus a brand new song, “This Is The Way” featuring the legendary late rapper DMX. The official music video for “This Is The Way” (feat. DMX) is directed by none other than highly influential filmmaker Hype Williams, a longtime friend and close collaborator of the late DMX. Hailed by the New York Times in 2024 as “The Nineties Wunderkind,” Hype Williams is known for his seminal work with luminaries like Tupac, Wu-Tang Clan, and Jay-Z amongst others. The video will be released coinciding with the deluxe edition of AFTERLIFE on April 5, 2024.
