“No, he don’t lie (He don’t lie)/
He don’t cheat (He don’t cheat)/
Oh, he’s my everything/
Yes, he’s perfect for me…”
–“Perfect For Me

SINGLE ART—“PERFECT FOR ME”

NASHVILLE – Renowned female country music trio CHAPEL HART have today released their new single and video—“Perfect For Me”—from their most recent GLORY DAYS album. Released on Valentine’s Day (today, February 14), the song celebrates the loving, hardworking, and dependable everyday man in your life. The track was written by CHAPEL HART—sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and cousin Trea Swindle—along with co-writer and hitmaker, Leslie Satcher (Martina McBride, “When God Fearin’ Women Get The Blues”; George Strait, “Troubadour”; Gretchen Wilson & Merle Haggard, “Politically Uncorrect”). Listen to the song HERE and watch the video HERE.

“It feels like it’s about time for a song to salute the blue collar ‘everyday’ working man!” CHAPEL HART’s Danica Hart says. “And this is it! He may not be rich or have the physique your family and friends thinks he should have, but he loves, respects, honors, and protects you and that makes him…‘PERFECT FOR ME!’”

“As soon as they listen to it, every one of my male friends fall in love with this song,” the group’s Trea Swindle adds. “It’s like they immediately picture themselves as that unexpectedly perfect guy, and the crazy thing is, for someone, somewhere, they really are.”

The release of this new single leads the way into what is becoming a very busy 2025 touring and festival season for the trio. First up, CHAPEL HART has just confirmed a partnership with the Academy of Country Music for their ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge concert series (February 17-21) on Princess Cruises for a Western Caribbean/Mexico trek. Later this spring, CHAPEL HART will head to New Orleans for two April festival appearances: French Quarter Festival and the acclaimed New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, followed by performance dates around the U.S., Korea, Copenhagen, Germany, and the UK (see tour schedule below.) The group’s May shows in Korea will have them performing for U.S. troops following rave reviews from servicemen and women for their recent military shows; this is part of CHAPEL HART’s ongoing commitment to giving back. Meanwhile, the group is preparing for a new album later this year.

An exciting 2024 was had by the group as they not only toured the U.S., UK and Japan, but also wrote, recorded, and released their first Christmas album, HARTFELT FAMILY CHRISTMAS, which the NEW YORK TIMES described as “both pristine and playful…” and launched a holiday tour in support of its release. Most recently, the Opry NextStage Artists performed at a birthday celebration for Dolly Parton, the Queen of Country’s 79th birthday (January 18) on the Opry stage. The group was also recently featured in US WEEKLY after they finally got to meet the legendary Parton following the 2021 release of “You Can Have Him Jolene,” a song inspired by Dolly’s iconic 1970’s ‘Jolene.’”

About CHAPEL HART:

CHAPEL HART, consisting of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart, along with their cousin Trea Swindle, are celebrated for their performance of their Dolly Parton-inspired “You Can Have Him, Jolene” during their first appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2022 which earned them a group Golden Buzzer and catapulted them to stardom. In quick succession, the Mississippi natives shot to No. 1 on iTunes, heard from Parton herself, and received an invitation to make their Grand Ole Opry debut. Since then, they’ve gone on a world tour and reached fans around the globe earning them the title of “International Group of the Year” as well as “International Song of the Year” for the single “You Can Have Him Jolene” in Scotland. They were also nominated in multiple categories by the British CMA’s including “Group of the Year” and “Album of the Year” for their sophomore album release “The Girls Are Back In Town.”

FIRST-EVER SEBASTIAN BACH ART SHOW CONFIRMED

M3 FESTIVAL AND SUMMERFEST

“18 & Life. I Remember You. In A Darkened Room. Wasted Time. By Your Side. And now, it’s time …TO LIVE AGAIN!”
–Sebastian Bach, 2025

SEBASTIAN BACH is releasing yet another video from his CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN album (Reigning Phoenix Music). The new video for “To Live Again” marks the seventh from the album and is another collaboration between BACH and Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera. Watch the video HERE.

“‘To Live Again’ is the closest song to a ballad on the record. It was co-written with the super talented Myles Kennedy, who also co-wrote the song ‘What Do I Got to Lose?’ the first single off this record,” SEBASTIAN says. “I could not be more proud of this song and this video. This song is the sound of my voice being pushed as far and as hard as it will go, in every way–power, range and emotion. If you have enjoyed the ballads that I have been releasing since the year 1989, I really do think you will enjoy this song and video.”

“We have been working on this video for months and months and it was finally completed in January 2025. Without a doubt, this is the most time, effort and pathos that I have ever put into creating a rock video. This video is like a fantasy dream that has been going through my head for the last year. The directors Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera have made recurring dreams that I have had at night come to life in this beautifully shot video.”

This year will see SEBASTIAN expand his horizons with his first-ever art show. In collaboration with Wentworth Gallery, BACH will be making a special in-person appearance on the Monsters of Rock Cruise (March 10-15) showcasing stunning works inspired by his late father, the renowned artist David Bierk. On the live front, look for a May headlining performance at M3 Rock Festival followed by a slot at Summerfest.

2024 was a remarkable year for the singer, songwriter, author, Broadway star, and actor.  BACH’s CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN album–his first in more than 10 years—was well-received, with Associated Press saying “…it shows a fierce performer in prime fighting form…his vocals remain sharp and his songwriting talents as cunning as ever,” while Ultimate Classic Rock noted: “Bach’s voice has lost none of its rage or range, even in the highest registers…” In addition, the album’s “(Hold On) To the Dream” track was included in Consequence‘s 30 Best Metal & Hard Rock Songs of 2024 which described the song as “…a late-career masterpiece from the former Skid Row singer. Baz hits some of the highest notes of his career on the sweeping ballad, an inspiring anthem about perseverance.”

“I would like to thank all of the rockers who put Child Within the Man at the top of so many fans Top Album lists of 2024,” BACH continues. “This will be the last full video that we will shoot for a while. There is one more video surprise coming later this year from the record, but this will be the last full concept video from the album…for now anyways. I cannot thank you all enough for the support on this project which has consumed my life for over a decade now. For those devastated by the California Wildfires and the courageous first responders, the song ‘To Live Again’ carries the sentiment that even if you lose everything you have, if you still have your family, that is the most important thing. Make art at all costs. That’s what we do. The show must go on. There is no other option.”

On the touring front, SEBASTIAN performed a record 91 shows in 2024. The dates included two successful North American tours–one around the release of the album, followed by another leg of fall shows–and a series of overseas appearances just before the album’s release.

Last month, SEBASTIAN was back on TV when he appeared on Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition: Heroes vs. Villains.” In addition, last June SEBASTIAN was the subject of an A&E Biography: Rock Legends Special. This follows his 2023 appearance as “Tiki” on Fox’s The Masked Singer.

“To Live Again,” is the latest release from his CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN album which has yielded the following singles/videos, all of which have impacted the rock charts: “Freedom,What Do I Got To Lose?,” “Everybody Bleeds,” and (Hold On) To The Dream” (along with the (Hold On) To The Dream alternate video) and Future of Youth.”

CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN was recorded in Orlando, Florida; produced and mixed by Elvis Baskette; engineered by Jef Moll, assistant engineered by Josh Saldate; and mastered by Robert Ludwig/Gateway Mastering. BACH wrote or co-wrote all the album’s 11 tracks and sang all lead and backing vocals. CHILD WITHIN tHE MAN features guest appearances from John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi—who all co-wrote their respective tracks with BACH—and two tracks co-written with Myles Kennedy (“What Do I Got to Lose?” and “To Live Again’); Devin Bronson on guitars, Todd Kerns (bass) and Jeremy Coulson (drums) round out the players on the album.

About Sebastian Bach:

With an inimitable presence as loud as his instantly identifiable voice, SEBASTIAN BACH has left a San Andreas Fault-size imprint on music, theater, film, television, and culture. Moreover, his influence only continues to magnify. He has penned and voiced some of the most iconic anthems in rock history, crafting a catalog highlighted by generational hits such as “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” “Youth Gone Wild,” “Slave To The Grind,” “Wasted Time,” and “Monkey Business,” to name a few. He has made history as “the first heavy metal singer on Broadway” with a now legendary turn in Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical in addition to leading roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has appeared in dozens of television series and films, ranging from “Trailer Park Boys” and “Robot Chicken” to “Spongebob Squarepants,” “The Masked Singer,” and “Hell’s Kitchen.” Speaking to his versatility, he’s the rare force of nature who can duet with Axl Rose and reprise a seven-season recurring role on “Gilmore Girls.”

Ahead of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, TOMMY EMMANUEL has today (February 13) released the single and video “Secret Love” from his upcoming album LIVE AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE (C.G.P. Sounds) that’s due out March 21. Listen to the instrumental track HERE and watch the live performance video, beautifully filmed by Bondi Rocks Media at the Sydney Opera House in his native Australia, HERE. Pre-order/pre-save the album HERE.

TOMMY EMMANUEL is an acoustic guitarist extraordinaire, composer, global touring artist, and Grammy® Award winner. He’s also one of five people ever to be named a C.G.P. (Certified Guitar Player) by Chet Atkins, the great innovator, songwriter, producer, record company executive, and visionary.

“I’ve loved ‘Secret Love’ since I was six years old,” says TOMMY. “I first heard it as a pop hit on radio, then heard many other versions that kept it in my life. I was looking for a song I could play in my harmonic, almost piano style, and this diamond came back to me.  Hope you enjoy this version—it’s in honor of [the late American-Canadian guitarist] Lenny Breau!!”

“Secret Love” follows the release of the 16-track album’s first two singles/videos: The Jolly SwagmanandGdansk/Tall Fiddler.” Of the latter track and video, Americana UK’s Andrew Frolish wrote:

“It is such a joy to see Tommy Emmanuel work his way around the fret board in ‘Gdansk/Tall Fiddler.’ From around halfway through, his fingers really fly and it’s utterly spellbinding.  Emmanuel’s strumming pattern is delightfully rhythmic, and he plays with incredible precision.  There’s also a lightness of touch and a musical freedom in his melody that the audience at The Sydney Opera House respond to in this live performance video.”

EMMANUEL is no stranger to iconic stages from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium to London’s Royal Festival Hall and Paris’ L’Olympia. The legendary entertainer has dazzled audiences across the world. But there’s something truly magical about the Sydney Opera House, and the magic of his sold-out performances there has finally been captured on this new EMMANUEL-produced album. It features 16 tracks, four of which are medleys, including his famous “Beatles Medley” (a previous live version of this has been viewed more than 2 million times on YouTube).

“The moment and power in these hours spent playing music, is perfectly preserved here on this record,” says TOMMY. “I hope you can feel the intensity of our musical and spiritual relationship… a bond built on a life freely given to all.”

He played two spellbinding shows on the Concert Hall stage in May 2023, with the best of both performances represented here. The setlist showcases the most beloved songs of TOMMY’s career—classic compositions like “Tall Fiddler,” “Mombasa,” and “Country Wide,” recent fan favorites like “Fuel” and “Sail On,” his now iconic arrangement of “Classical Gas,” and his thrilling “Beatles Medley.”

“As a 15-year-old boy living in Circular Quay, I spent many a time walking past the Opera House,” he says. “I would daydream about what it must be like in there, what it would be like to perform there. After fifty years in the business, we finally got there!”

“Playing the shows for this recording was a dream come true for me,” TOMMY adds. “I felt so ready! I was surrounded by my team of brilliant people, and I was looking into the faces of so many loving and happy fans in the concert Hall. The momentum and power in these hours spent playing music, is perfectly captured and preserved here on this record. I hope you can feel the intensity of our musical and spiritual relationship…a bond built on a life freely given to all.”

A noted fingerstyle guitarist, EMMANUEL frequently threads three different parts simultaneously into his material, operating as a one-man band who handles the melody, the supporting chords and the bass all at once. You can hear his wizardry captured brilliantly on LIVE AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE.

Here’s the album’s track listing:

ABOUT TOMMY EMMANUEL:

TOMMY EMMANUEL has achieved enough musical milestones to satisfy several lifetimes. At the age of six, the Grammy® Award winner was touring regional Australia with his family band. By 30, he was a rock n’ roll lead guitarist burning up stadiums in Europe. At 44, he became one of five people ever named a C.P.G. (Certified Guitar Player) by his idol, music icon Chet Atkins. Today, he plays hundreds of sold-out shows every year from Nashville to Sydney to London. He’s piled up numerous accolades, including two Grammy Award nominationstwo ARIA Awards from the Australian Recording Industry Association (the Aussie equivalent of the Recording Academy); repeated honors in the Guitar Player magazine reader’s poll including a cover story for their August 2017 issue; a cover feature for Vintage Guitar’s July 2020 issue; and was Music Radar’s reader’s poll #1 winner of the Ten Best Acoustic Guitarists in The World (December 2019). He has also earned the “Lifetime Achievement” Award from The National GUITAR Museum. A noted fingerstyle guitarist, EMMANUEL frequently threads three different parts simultaneously into his material, operating as a one-man band who handles the melody, the supporting chords and the bass all at once. His talents, which translate in any language, carry him to the far corners of the globe, but EMMANUEL never plays the same show twice, and he improvises big chunks of every date. That leaves him open to those technical imperfections, though they also provide some of the humanity to an other-worldly talent.

Micki Free & Heather Roberts Announce Music Fundraiser, February 25, at KISS World Mini Golf in Las Vegas

DT: FEBRUARY 12, 2024

FM: MITCH SCHNEIDER, ANDREA FAULK/ SRO PR

THE MUSICAL BEGINNING FOUNDATION (501c3)
ANNOUNCES FIRST CELEBRITY FUNDRAISING EVENT
“THE SHIRTS AGAINST THE BLOUSES”® MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT
AT KISS WORLD MINI GOLF IN LAS VEGAS
ON FEBRUARY 25

The Musical Beginning Foundation (501c3) is a newly created organization for which Grammy Award-winning musician Micki Free and fashion designer Heather Roberts are the Founders/Directors. The foundation aims to provide musical instruments to children in underserved communities, helping them develop skills that foster creativity, social connection, and emotional well-being.

Free and Roberts have announced the foundation’s first celebrity fundraising event, “The Shirts Against The Blouses”® Mini Golf Tournament, at KISS World Mini Golf inside the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It’s set for February 25, from 4-9pm.

Artists who’ve already confirmed include guitarist Bruce Kulick (KISS), guitarist Alex Grossi (Quiet Riot), and Todd Kerns, the bassist/backing vocalist for Slash’s band, with many more to be added. The event is sponsored by KISS World Mini Golf, Food & Beverage Magazine, Need Merch, Mysterium Music, The Palms Casino Resort, Guitar Center, and San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. The event will also include an auction with autographed items, concert tickets, and more.

The Shirts Against The Blouses”® Mini Golf Tournament pays homage to the iconic basketball game between Prince, Eddie Murphy, Charlie Murphy, and Micki Free, which was immortalized in a famous Chappelle’s Show sketch. For a glimpse into the original game, read this story from Esquire. At KISS World Mini Golf, two teams, The Shirts and The Blouses, will compete against each other.

In many schools, art and music programs are often the first to be cut due to budget constraints. Roberts and Free believe music is not only a creative outlet, but also essential for childhood development and mental health. Participants in the event will be helping bring the power of music into the lives of children who need it most, inspiring young talent, and giving them the tools they need to thrive. “Our foundation believes that, whether using music as a therapeutic outlet or professionally, ‘Music is the Medicine,’ say Roberts and Free.

“I feel I’ve been blessed in my musical career,” says Micki Free, “and it’s time to give back. Most indigenous, urban and impoverished families, like mine when I was growing, didn’t have the means to buy instruments for their children. I was lucky my Uncle Frank came to my aid and bought me my first guitar. The Musical Beginning Foundation will be our Uncle Frank to many kids—that is our goal.”

“As a child I played clarinet in school, which was a meaningful experience for me,” says Roberts.  “Art has been incredibly important to me throughout my whole life.  As a graduate of Parsons School of Design in NYC, and someone who has enjoyed a career in the world of celebrity costume design, I was lucky to have been immersed into fields that allowed me to express my creativity.  Children today don’t have as much access or opportunities when it comes to the arts, and I am hopeful that I can be a part of creating positive change in their lives through The Musical Beginning Foundation.”

About The Musical Beginning Foundation:

The foundation is led by founders Heather Roberts and “Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist Micki Free. Roberts is a fashion/costume designer and couturier for rock stars and celebrities alike, as well as the co-founder and designer for a children’s theater/events company in the PNW. Micki is also a “Five-Time Native American Music Award Winner” and an Inductee into “The Native American Music Hall of Fame.” Micki’s extensive career in the music business as a producer, writer, and performer, and Heather’s production experience in the entertainment and theater
industry as well as her creative passion and eye for design will help inspire and inform.

The heartfelt, life-affirming, and anthemic “No Where to Go But Up” is designed to take listeners higher in the face of life’s obstacles and challenges. GINO’s voice effortlessly soars in this alluring merger of pop, soul, and jazz as he delivers a lyric—Up is your only friend”—that sounds like the only sane way to navigate tough times.

“It’s a really nice video, full of smiling faces of young aspiring dancers, singers, and musicians,” says GINO about the “No Where to Go But Up” video. “Two long days, shot in the streets of Belgrade, but worth every bead of sweat. And as for me, just what the doctor ordered…have a good time! Thank you all. Хвала вам пријатељи моји XG”

THE LIFE I GOT (TO MY MOST BELOVED) is GINO’s most intimate release in his expansive 50+ year career with sales exceeding 20 million albums worldwide. Marking his 22nd album overall and his first new studio album since 2019, it was written, arranged, produced, and recorded by GINO and co-producer Peter Fil at Inka Studio in Portland, OR, where GINO resides. Pre-order THE LIFE I GOT (TO MY MOST BELOVED) now on CD, vinyl, and digital download at https://orcd.co/ginovannellithelifeigot.

Some things get better with age and GINO is the living embodiment of that sentiment. His standing as a powerful and innovative live performer has seen him continue to perform sold-out shows across the globe whether it’s piano-voice concerts in theaters, singing before symphony orchestras in concert halls, big bands or even pop ensembles. GINO has announced three new shows in 2025, with more to be announced in the following weeks. See him live at one of the below dates:

About GINO VANNELLI:

GINO has remained one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music having sold over 20 million records worldwide. From rock, to jazz, to soul, even classical, he’s left no musical stone unturned. Starting his career in 1973, he was one of the first Caucasian artists to perform on Soul Train and toured with the legendary Stevie Wonder. He gained momentum with his first single, “People Gotta Move” in 1974 and continued to make waves as he releases his hit single, “I Just Wanna Stop” reached #1 in Canada and #4 in US on Billboard’s Hot 100. The single garnered GINO a Grammy Award-nomination for “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” in 1978. In 1979, he won his second Juno Award for “Best Male Vocalist” and continued to churn out hits including the Top 10 singles “Living Inside Myself” (1981) and “Wild Horses” (1987).

GINO caught the attention of Pope John Paul II with his 2001 song “Parole Per Mio Padre(Words For My Father) and performed it for the Pope himself at the Vatican. He then released Canto (BMG) in 2003 which featured contemporary classical songs sung in English, Italian, Spanish and French.

In 2013, GINO performed for the first time in over 15 years in Los Angeles, CA at the historic Saban Theater which was recorded and released as a CD/DVD compilation, Live In LA, in 2014 and charted at #1 on Amazon. In 2021, GINO released his then-latest album, (More Of) A Good Thing, which contains a contemporary remake of “The River Must Flow” (from his Gold-certified 1976 album Brother To Brother) featuring Brian Mcknight on backing vocals and Michael Phillips on talk box.

Emo rock revivalists THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT—Lee Jennings (Vocals), Cody Weissinger (Guitar), Caleb Freihaut (Guitar/Auxiliary), Robert Weston (Bass), and Homer Umbanhowar (Drums)—have unveiled their latest single today (February 7), “Hearse For Two (feat. Lilith Czar).” Illuminating the themes of devastating loss and eternal love, the song has been released one week ahead of Valentine’s Day. The song is taken from their critically acclaimed second album, GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY. Listen to the song HERE and watch the video HERE.

“‘Hearse for Two’ is one of the most personal and emotional songs we’ve ever written,” says singer Lee Jennings. “The track captures the intensity of love and loss, and having Lilith Czar join us on this journey brought an entirely new depth to the song. Her raw energy and powerful presence in both the recording and the music video perfectly complement the story we’re telling. We’re so proud to share this collaboration,” adds Jennings, “and hope it resonates deeply with everyone who watches and listens.”

Lilith Czar is thrilled to join THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT on the epic song, the final track on GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY. “After speaking with Lee and learning the story behind ‘Hearse For Two,’ my heart ached for the depth of loss and love it carried, and I felt a profound responsibility to deliver my absolute best in the studio. I understand heartbreak and the kind of loss that leaves a void you’re not sure can ever be filled, so singing alongside THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT felt like a catharsis— a chance to channel that pain into something meaningful.”

GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY, released September 13, 2024 via Better Noise Music, consists of 14 tracks of theatrical, dramatic, unapologetic, full-throated flair with guest appearances from Bert McCracken of The Used, Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, and Amanda Lyberg of Eva Under Fire. Get a copy of GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY on CD or digital download now at https://thefuneralportrait.ffm.to/gfsc.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, The Funeral Portrait will unveil an exclusive and highly limited release of GREETINGS FROM SUFFOCATE CITY on blood-filled vinyl. Dubbed the Bloody Valentine Edition, this rare collector’s item will be available exclusively through the band’s official webstore at www.TheFuneralPortraitMerch.com.

The release will be accompanied by a special merchandise drop, offering The Coffin Crew additional collectibles to complement this unique vinyl. The launch is set for 12:00 AM EST on February 14th, making this a midnight event fans won’t want to miss.

Last November THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT landed the #1 spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and Mediabase’s Active Rock radio charts with their hit single “Suffocate City (feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills).” This marks the band’s first-ever #1 radio single and first entry onto any Billboard chart. The single has garnered over 6.5 million streams globally and over 600k views for its prom-themed music video.

“Holy Water” is the band’s latest single that’s blowing up the radio airwaves now, with MetalPlanetMusic.com describing the song as “a full-on arena anthem sound that hits straight between the ears. The beat is hard and uncompromising, with the dual guitar riffs forcing the emotion down your throat. The choral harmony during the bridge gives the track a ‘it’s our song, and we’re going to do what the fuck we want to’ vibe. It’s a real monster of a track.”

Meanwhile, Pandora named THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT as one of their “Artists to Watch 2025: The Pandora Ten,” which spotlights a group of ten emerging artists across all genres that it believes will break through in the coming year.

In touring news, after a robust tour season in 2024 supporting the likes of Five Finger Death Punch and The Hu, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT will continue bringing their message to the masses with an aggressive touring plan for 2025. The band is on the road now throughout the U.S. and Canada, with shows that launched yesterday (February 6) in Seattle, WA at The Crocodile.
