GREGORIAN—“The World’s Most Successful Choir”—will release a new album, titled PURE CHANTS I, to coincide with their debut U.S. tour “PURE CHANTS” this October. Set for release September 29 on BMG, the new album features mainly classical choral works and hymns plus some folk and pop favorites (full track listing below). The album’s first single, GREGORIAN’s moving interpretation of Simon & Garfunkel’s iconic “The Sound of Silence (Pure Version),” is out today, August 18. Presented in a new and purist choral version, GREGORIAN’s “The Sound of Silence (Pure Version)” highlights the serenity, power and beauty of the human voice which will delight classical-crossover, choral and pop fans alike. The group recorded the song with minimal instrumentals, relying entirely on the power, beauty and grace of their extraordinary combined vocals.

Later this year, GREGORIAN—the brainchild of founder and owner of Nemo-Studios and omeN-Publishing Frank Peterson—is bringing its first-ever North American tour to theaters and performing arts centers in the fall of 2023 and spring of 2024, featuring special guest performers Amelia Brightman and sensational male sopranist Narcis.
