Dark folk singer/songwriter AMIGO THE DEVIL hit the road with Celtic punk outfit Dropkick Murphys this past weekend on their annual St. Patrick’s Day tour across North America alongside fellow support acts Booze & Glory and Lenny Lashley. Following the mostly sold-out month-long jaunt, AMIGO THE DEVIL will continue to bring his unique and ever-changing live set out on a series newly announced one-off dates across the U.S., including a dual night showcase with Itchy-O, before hitting the festival circuit with appearances at Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville, Epicenter, Punk Rock Bowling and several more. With the successful release of EVERYTHING IS FINE, the debut full-length studio album from AMIGO THE DEVIL (born under the name Danny Kiranos) last October–which entered the Billboard Americana Folk charts in the Top 30 at #27-KIRANOS has captivated listeners with his ability to make otherwise grisly lyrical content, such as serial killers and death, seem easygoing. Take for example his hit single “Hell And You,” which has amassed 1.3+ million streams on Spotify and sparked a cult movement of hundreds of fans worldwide inking its lyrics on their skin.
Possessing what LA Weekly described as “one of the most unique voices in music…a sepulchral beauty, acid wit and ingenious arrangements,” KIRANOS has launched a pre-order for the much-anticipated release of his debut EP, Volume 1, on vinyl. The vinyl will feature the EP’s 10 tracks remastered and is available for pre-order now at https://amigothedevil.indiemerch.com.
