ODDITIES FLEA MARKET regrets to announce that after careful consideration it will postpone their event in Los Angeles–originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 at Globe Theatre–due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The rescheduled event will remain at the same location and now take place Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12. Previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the corresponding rescheduled date(s). For those unable to attend, refunds will be provided until March 26, 2020 via Eventbrite. Meanwhile, the skeletal articulation class on Thursday, April 3 at Bearded Lady’s Mystic Museum in Burbank, CA led by osteologist RYAN MATTHEW COHN will remain scheduled as is. The class will provide attendees the rare opportunity to pose and piece together a complete ethically and humanely sourced cat skeleton and includes all tools and mounting materials. In advance of its upcoming spring Los Angeles event taking place at The Globe Theatre on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5,THE ODDITIES FLEA MARKET has added a handful of new vendors (see full list here) and announced a skeletal articulation class. This very special and distinctive class will be held Thursday, April 2 with founder/curator, osteologist and star of Discovery‘s Oddities, RYAN MATTHEW COHN. at Bearded Lady’s Mystic Museum in Burbank, CA–one of the L.A. market’s sponsors–and will allow a rare opportunity for attendees to pose and piece together a complete ethically and humanely sourced cat skeleton. On Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, Downtown Los Angeles‘ historic Globe Theatre will transform into a world of obscure, unusual and curious delights as THE ODDITIES FLEA MARKET returns for their annual Spring market curated by skeleton articulation virtuoso, collector and star of Discovery‘s Oddities, RYAN MATTHEW COHN and his wife/event producer REGINA MARIE COHN.
 
Attendees will be able to peruse items ranging from anatomical curiosities and osteological specimens, taxidermy, occult and obscure home décor, jewelry and clothing to natural history ephemera, medical history rarities and one-of-a-kind dark art designs from over 60 vendors including event curator Ryan Matthew Cohn, Conjurers Kitchen, Necromance, Gotham Taxidermy, Margaret Cross, Oddball Oddity and more (listed below). The event will also feature DJ sets throughout both days from Portland industrial/goth outfit, Dead Animal Assembly Plant.

General admission single day tickets for SPRING ODDITIES FLEA MARKET (LOS ANGELES) are available in advance for $10 or $15 cash-only at the door. A limited amount of VIP tickets are available which include two hours advance entry (10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.) for $40. Children under 10 get in free.

THE ODDITIES FLEA MARKETis a one-of-a-kind event presenting delightfully unusual, obscure and rare oddities for all. The market will return for the eighth time in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 with a special “Holiday of Wonders” event set to take place at a new location, Villain. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue charity Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, who will be on-site offering adoptions and taking additional donations.

Ryan Matthew Cohn and his wife/executive producer Regina Marie Cohnthe ODDITIES FLEA MARKET was developed in 2017 to fill the void of ‘odd culture’ in Brooklyn and has since traveled across the U.S. including three successful markets at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, CA and the recent debut market in Chicago, IL at the Stan Mansion.

Tickets for “Holiday of Wonders” are on-sale now. Pre-sale GA one-day tickets are available directly via ODDITIES FLEA MARKET at $10 and include access to a separate line for entry starting at 12:00 P.M. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15 as supplies last. Children under 10 get in free.

A limited amount of VIP one-day tickets are available exclusively via Atlas Obscura for $30 and include two-hours advance entry at 10:00 A.M., and access to a VIP Oddities lounge offering a spot to take a brief respite with other curious attendees, and enjoy a cash bar exclusively for VIP guests as well as special performances from miniature magic theater,

Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue
Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 rescue organization composed of a network of fosters and volunteers working together to save sweet, loving, adoptable dogs from high kill pounds in the rural south. Since March of 2011 their team has rescued over 3,000 dogs from high kill, rural shelters in the southern states and found them all great forever homes.
