#1 Active Rock radio-charting British rock outfit ASKING ALEXANDRIA have established themselves as one of the most important rock bands of this generation through years of hard touring, four RIAA Gold-certified singles, two #1 albums and several Top 10 hits. The band—Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass) and James Cassells (drums)—will release their anticipated eighth full-length studio album WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? this fall via Better Noise Music. The album’s debut track “Dark Void” was released in May and saw the band return to their metalcore beginnings has already amassed 5 million streams and 1 million video views to date. ASKING ALEXANDRIA have today (June 16) shared the album’s electrified first official radio single “Psycho” along with releasing the vindictive, heavy-hitting track “Bad Blood across digital platforms. Stream both tracks HERE. Watch the “Psycho” music video below or directly via YouTube HERE.

“‘Psycho’ is one of those songs that is talking about when you feel trapped inside your own head, trapped by your own vices and your own downfalls,” explains BRUCE. “Whether it’s being stuck in a relationship that doesn’t work for you, or feeling like you can’t stop drinking or doing drugs, or maybe you’re stuck in a job that you hate, and you’re just battling yourself in your own head wondering ‘why am I still here? Why do I keep doing these things?’. Ultimately, at the end of the day we all feel a little bit crazy…a little bit like a Psycho. It’s just a fun song that we can all relate to, and stylistically we thought to ourselves ‘how do we make a song that sounds like it could live on the ‘Like A House On Fire’ album, but also like it could live on the ‘From Death to Destiny’ album?’. So musically, from a writing standpoint, it was a really enjoyable experience to meld those two eras of Asking Alexandria together and see what that might look like.”

Earlier this week ASKING ALEXANDRIA announced a co-headlining tour with THE HU, the acclaimed Mongolian rock sensation and Better Noise Music labelmates. The “Psycho Thunder” tour will kick off this fall and also includes labelmates Bad Wolves and opening act Zero 9:36. Tickets are on sale now at https://www.askingalexandria.com. The UK-based rockers will make their way overseas in July for three festival appearances—Rock Fest (WI), Inkcarceration Festival (OH) and Louder Than Life (KY)—before the co-headlining tour commences August 30 in San Antonio, TX. Throughout the trek, which ends October 8 in Los Angeles, ASKING ALEXANDRIA will appear on additional festival dates including Rocklahoma (OK), Blue Ridge Rock Festival (VA), and Louder Than Life (KY). ASKING ALEXANDRIA today (Friday, May 12) share “Dark Void,” the first preview of music from their as-yet-untitled full-length studio album due this fall via Better Noise Music. Available now digitally HERE, “Dark Void” presents contrasting themes of melancholy and aspiration of day-to-day life in the modern world, while seamlessly blending the band’s anthemic stadium rock sound with a call back to their metalcore beginnings. Watch the music video for “Dark Void” streaming below or directly via YouTube HERE.

“With the world seemingly getting darker and darker, it’s easy to see why so many of us struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness,” relays guitarist BEN BRUCE. “This song is about fighting those demons that live in your head and trying your hardest to be your own savior. Finding that inner strength to pull yourself out of the darkness.”

“This theme is explored throughout the entirety of our upcoming album. We all have our own struggles and hurdles. We are all on our own journeys that present unique challenges and difficulties, but we all have our own inner strength to fall back on. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that there can be comfort in knowing that we aren’t alone. We all feel a little down from time to time. We all feel a little lost from time to time, but somehow, in some way, we are all in this together and hopefully our new album can help people through some of their toughest times.”

ASKING ALEXANDRIABEN BRUCE (lead guitars), DANNY WORSNOP (vocals), CAMERON LIDDELL (rhythm guitars), SAM BETTLEY (bass) and JAMES CASSELLS (drums)—have relentlessly toured across the globe in addition to being showcased at several of rock’s top worldwide festivals including Download Festival (UK), Hellfest (FR), Graspop (BE), Aftershock (US) and many more. They will spend the summer touring across Europe before heading stateside in July for three festival appearances: Rock Fest (7/14, WI), Inkcarceration Festival (7/15, OH) and Louder Than Life (7/21, KY).

Having joined Better Noise Music in 2021 with the release of their critically acclaimed album See What’s On The Inside, ASKING ALEXANDRIA subsequently achieved their first-ever #1 Active Rock radio single “Alone Again” and a follow-up Top 10 single with “Never Gonna Learn” (#6) in 2022 from their EP of the same name. The band’s loyal fanbase have garnered over 1.4 billion combined streams to date across all platforms along with over 3.1 million monthly Spotify listeners. Their music videos have received over 700 million views.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA are currently offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience to shadow the band on tour for a day, including a guitar tech session with BRUCE where the winner will also get to take home the signed guitar, as part of Better Noise Music’s “Fan Love Sweepstakes” fundraiser supporting Sweet Relief Musicians Fund’s “Music’s Mental Health Fund.” The grand prize winner and a guest will receive airfare and a two-night hotel stay to attend the concert, plus they’ll receive a pair of VIP tickets to a future ASKING ALEXANDRIA show of their choice (subject to venue availability).
